Hospital records are not official birth certificates. Obama has already shown his official birth certificate, the Certification of Live Birth of Hawaii, and the facts on it were confirmed by THREE Republican officials in Hawaii. This is sufficient.
Excuse me Ellen, but what facts on it were confirmed? Other then his name, his mother's name and his father's name along with a date of birth, there were NO FACTS. A Certificate of Live Birth is NOT the same as a Birth Certificate. My birth certificate has not only my mother and father's names, and my name and date of birth, but it also contains the name of the doctor who attended my birth and the name of the Hospital in which I was born.
It also contained such information as to my weight and length at birth and one of my foot prints, along with other "information". I am sure that your birth certificate contains the same information as mine. What Obama produced does NOT.
Many official birth certificates do not include all of the things you listed. For example, while footprints are common on commemorative (not legal) hospital birth certificates, they are much less common on official ones (my wife and I and our kids have BC's from four different states, and none have footprints).
Footprint or no footprint the Certification of Live Birth is not a long form birth certificate, will not get you a passport, a drivers license, nada! It total BS that even one of the Chinese royal family got, Sun Yat Sen, who never set foot in Hawaii. The ignorant kool aid drinker is an example of the type of mutant that voted for a total impostor and a serial felon. Hey Ellen, the certificate you tout shows his fathers race as African…………REALLY! That's a continent, not a race. Black or negro were the descriptions for race on BC's back then and probably still is the case. Re Dual loyalties. Who told you that? Where does the Constitution say anything about dual loyalties? Did you know that Thomas Jefferson WAS a dual national of the USA and France when he was president? He had been made a full voting citizen of France (with the right to serve in the French government) by the French legislature during the French Revolution.
If the writers of the US constitution had said that dual nationals were not eligible or that dual nationals could not be Natural Born, that would be different. But they never said any such thing. You are, of course, entitled to vote against dual nationals in the next election. But others have the right to vote for them, and the US Congress confirmed Obamas' election UNANIMOUSLY and not a single elector in the Electoral College changed his or her vote.
Re the allegation that Abercrombie "can't locate" Obama's birth certificate. Answer: That is not true. Abercrombie said no such thing. WND said that he said it, but he didn't say it.
Oh, and the CertifiCATION of Live Birth is the official birth certificate of Hawaii, and it is used by thousands of people every year to get their US passports. And, the McCain campaign checked on the allegations of forgery as they checked the allegations of birth in Kenya–and found them both to be false. (And the attorney general of Hawaii for the last four years till December was a Conservative Republican. If he had thought that there was anything wrong with the image of the birth certificate or the confirmations of the THREE Republican officials, he would have taken action–but he didn't.)

You are correct hospital records are not official birth certificates just as a certificate of live birth is not a birth certificate. The birth certificate being referred to is just like the one you have provided you are a US citizen. Official Birth Certificates state facts and have the address, the state the hospital is located in along with the birth parents both father and mother the time of birth as well as the attending physician and nurses signatures. Now tell me did the certificate that was plastered all over the internet have any of the above mentioned information? Answer NO therefore the birth certificate issue is still an issue and will be until he produces a long form birth certificate. There is just one little problem though, he does NOT HAVE ONE!!
Totally wrong? Congress is to qualify a President first off,not any other officials state or hospital. The certification is only an abbreviated document and does not have the pertinent info such as hospital and doctor named. NO one has ever produced or verified a long form certificate and then there are the illegal social security numbers he has used and the fraudulent Selective Service registration. this is total fraud from someone who claims to have taught the Constitution. Impeachment must happen and soon and more fraud will be revealed then.

CNN demonstrated that Obama can ask for an uncertified copy of his long form birth certificate. He can't get a certified copy. Would you be satisfied with an uncertified copy? If so, I'd agree that you're being reasonable, and that it's wrong to label you crazy or racist for wanting to see the uncertified long form. I think it's unreasonable, though, to ask for a certified copy which is not available to any Hawaiian born citizen.
Yes, assuming it was not signed by Peter Rabbit or something silly like that. The point is, to get something that has significant information on it. Certified or not. Like a hospital, or a doctor, or a witness.

Obama has shown the official birth certificate of Hawaii, the Certification of Live Birth. There is nothing wrong with it. It is so today. And today Hawai'i no longer gives out certified copies of long forms. That's why not a single person has come out with one that was issued in the last 10 years.
You cant get a Hawai'in or Arizona long form any more. The most you could get would be a non certified photocopy though an FOIA request, which would take months and be a huge battle involving you proving why you want one and the need for one. Proving you are eligible for the presidency is not a use for one as that is established with the COLB.
But, according to CNN, Hawaii does honor FOIA Requests for Long Forms, so the "Poor Widdle Obama can't get one without breaking the law" excuse is out the window.
As for me, I would be happy with a document that has some verifiable information on it, certified or not.
But, I am NOT holding my breath.

The Secretary may furnish the form of such applications and certificates. All applications shall be by sworn petition, in which the party shall set forth circumstantially all the facts upon which his application rests, and shall be accompanied by sworn affidavits of witnesses. The Secretary and such persons as he may designate and appoint may examine, under oath, any applicant or person cognizant of the facts regarding any application and for that purpose he and they are hereby authorized and empowered to administer oaths, subpoena and compel the attendance of witnesses and the production of books and papers, punish for contempts and, generally, to exercise the same authority with regard to their special jurisdiction as is by law conferred on District Magistrates.
SECTION 2. Any applicant or any person, who shall give or offer any false testimony, oral or written, under oath, in support or respect of any application for a certificate under the provisions of the foregoing Section, shall be deemed guilty of perjury and shall be punishable accordingly.
That was the law of Hawai'i at the time, from 1911 to 1972 to be precise. It required sworn affidavits with witnesses.
