It’s official now – Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal has announced plans to launch a 24-hour Arabic-language TV news channel in partnership with Rupert Murdoch’s Fox.
This deepens the relationship between the Saudi prince and the Fox News Channel that so many Americans rely on as the “fair and balanced” alternative to ABC, CBS, NBC and CNN. He was already a major, one might even say pivotal, stockholder in Fox’s parent company, News Corp.
It is a relationship that compromises the integrity of Fox News now and into the future.
Alwaleed is not just any Saudi prince. He’s, frankly, a notorious one.
He’s the nephew of Saudi King Abdullah. You might remember Alwaleed for his moment of infamy in the landscape of American political culture: In October 2001, right after the World Trade Center destruction at the hands of primarily Saudi terrorists, New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani famously turned down his offer of a $10 million donation for disaster relief after Alwaleed suggested U.S. policies in the Middle East were actually to blame for the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

We were partly to blame. We handed them oil profits which they used to build mosques and teach Wahabbi Islam. That sect is the most extreme of all the mideast states and even Iran isn't as radically invested in Islam. Take note that the Saudi royals didn't teach enough for their people to escape their grip, just enough to keep them glued to the sharia laws.

Would you agree that the form of governance in the middle east is not conducive to individual liberty? If so do you agree that to undo the problem, the culture and governmental clash, is not to change and become like the middle east but to actually seek the liberty which this nation was founded to provide ? That liberty is what the people truly desire all around the world is it not? You do realize that to have this form of government we were founded upon we must be individually responsible for our actions and that requires discipline and adherance to a set of principles and values that are anathema to the socialist ideology ?

Add them to ABC (the Always Barack Channel), NBC (the New Barack Channel) and CBS (Continual Barack Sh**). Fox has been tilting a little toward the left, but they are still doing unflattering (but truthful) Obama news that the other stations don't have the cajones to do. The good news is that even liberals are seeing the cold, hard truth about how Obamacare is going to affect them. Friends and co-workers who were once in the "tingle up my leg" category are swearing AT him instead of swearing BY him . People who thought I was crazy last year for warning them Obamacare was not real healthcare, but a power grab and political payoff are asking me questions about it. Even "braying jackass" Robert Gibbs has admitted that the Dems will lose their majority in November.
So Fox joins the betrayers? We can still get our news from WND and Western Journalism. Don't give up, we have a country to fight for!

Fox News is a huge draw for both liberals and conservatives. Beck, O'Reilly and Hannity backed off the birth cerficate question because the term "birthers" makes liberals tune out in droves. The libs are positive that the fake online is real and can't understand what the fuss is over. By putting the BC question on the back burner they can keep the libs tuned in and get other anti-Obama points across. The MSM gave Obama a free pass on the oil spill, Fox did not. Fox reported on Obama's golf games and other "important pursuits' while the oil gushed and Obama did nothing. Greta has been doing stories on the Arizona/illegals with some videos on how blatant the illegal aliens are in crossing into the US, has the MSM done that? Greta's interview with Janet Napolitano the other night showed the whole world what an inept and incompetent Homeland Security person she is. Eventually the liberals will see enough that they will take off their rose-colored glasses and take a look at reality and start asking questions. Just don't mention birthers or they will tune out….
The Left more than the Muslims have had our information sources under attack for many years. The print sources came under hard attack in the thirties and began to disintegrate in the forties and fifties. With radio and TV replaciing print in the sixties the Left had a made to order media to sell their propaganda. It wasn't till the nineties that the Internet became a major factor, which it is today.
We can choose our poison as they used to say in frontier saloons. There is no shortage of misinformation so we need to be able to winnow the chaf from the grain
Fox is a definite target and is coming more and more under attack. The internet is about the only thing we have left to keep the media and the politicians in line. The Left also exploits the Muslim because they are so willing to do the dirty work but they lack the strategy which the Left willingly supplies. Angela, have you read Matthew 7? It starts with "Do not judge," but then gives a criteria for judging—get the log out of your own eye first, then you can see clearly to still deal with the speck in another's eye. Later it gives criteria "to judge" false prophets. So to take the first verse and ignore the rest of the chapter is a bad use of scripture. We make many judgments every day. You made a judgment when you submitted your comment to people who disagree with you about Obama.
