Romney, On Leno, Shows Personal Side

Romney is happy to have Rick Santorum serve in his administration. He is clearly likeable in this interview.

The NSA’s New Capabilities Are A Threat To Our Freedoms

nsa aerial SC 300x240 The NSA’s new capabilities are a threat to our freedoms

James Bamford, whose track record on all things associated with the National Security Council (NSA) is excellent, has a chilling article in Wired about the NSA’s newest facilities and capabilities. They are jaw-dropping. In effect, he is telling us that once the new Utah facility is operational, everything that an American citizen does that involves electronic communication will be captured by NSA—emails, purchases, cell phone calls, text messages. Everything. Bamford doesn’t say it, but I assume that NSA can also do what hackers can do: Get access to the entire contents of disk drives.

Contemplating this capability, we are beyond having to ask whether NSA will watch over the most private affairs of American citizens. That’s already happening, under guidelines that the government assures us limits surveillance to those citizens who pose a threat. The only question is how fast the definition of “threat” will expand from people who pose a clear and present danger of mounting a terrorist attack to people who pose whatever kind of threat is dear to the heart of the administration in power.

Adobe Expert Mara Zebest Vs. Congressman Lungren: Obama’s Identity Document Fraud

I was fortunate enough to have dinner with Mara Zebest when she was in Phoenix for the Sheriff Joe Arpiao “cold case posse” news conference. She is an outstanding expert on Adobe software, and she has been a leader in the fight to expose the forgeries perpetrated by Obama and his minions. Here, she takes on a Republican Congressman, Dan Lungren. We should all go and ask our leaders these tough questions. Thank you, Mara, for your leadership.

Obama A “Post-Racial” President? Think Again

Barack Obama 6 SC Obama a Post Racial President? Think Again

Those Americans who have been able to pry themselves away from their video games, their satellite television, and their sports obsessions have probably heard the tragic story about Trayvon Martin’s death.  This young African-American was allegedly unarmed when he was shot by Hispanic George Zimmerman, a neighborhood watchman.  An FBI investigation is currently being conducted to determine the facts regarding the case.  God-fearing Americans, please pray that justice will prevail for all parties involved.

A primary focus of the investigation is the 911 call made by George Zimmerman. The call will be diagnosed by special technicians to determine if George mumbled any racial slurs before the shooting.  If it can be proven that he did, then his claim of self-defense will crumble under the weight of a “hate-crime” accusation.

During Obama’s presidential campaign, he portrayed himself as the great racial unifier.  He said, “…we may not look the same and may not have come from the same place, but we all want to move in the same direction.” (Political Intelligence, March, 2008)   The president seems to contradict himself when he fails to constrain from weighing in on the racial issues that surface from time to time. This shouldn’t be surprising, considering his tutelage under the likes of Jeremiah Wright, Derrick Bell, William Ayers, and a multitude of other extremists.

Obama finally entered the fray in response to strong criticism from the likes of Al Sharpton, the perpetrator of the Tawana Brawley hoax, and Louis Farrakhan, who spews his hatred for Jewish people by exalting Hitler as a “very great man” and Jews as being “satanic” and their place of worship as “satanic synagogues.” (DefendingtheTruth.net, March 19, 2012)  Instead of falling back on his previous theme of “we may not all look the same”, he emphasized that he and the victim have certain similarities.  “If I had a son, he would look like Trayvon.”

Many are questioning the President’s motive behind such a statement?  Was he trying to comfort a hurting family, or was he using his words to stir racial tension and mobilize African-Americans to support him?  He has been losing the political backing of many African-Americans who are not satisfied with his performance as president over the last three years.  Many are offended by the idea that their vote can be earned by handing out more candy (welfare) instead of providing them with more jobs in order to make a respectable living for their families.

Newt Gingrich climbed up on his stump to declare without hesitation that President Obama intended to spawn racial tension with his comment:  “What the President said, in a sense, is disgraceful.  It’s not a question of who that young man looked like. Any young American of any ethnic background should be safe, period.”  Gingrich went on to say, “Is the president suggesting that if it had been a white who had been shot, that would be OK because it didn’t look like him? That’s just nonsense dividing this country up?”  (The Hill, 3/21/12)    Questioning Obama’s intentions seems to be a legitimate quest, but in all fairness, only Obama knows the motive behind his words.  He may be calling a beer summit again on the White House lawn to explain himself to the nation.

Trayvon’s tragic death occurred after the NBA All-Star game in February.  About one week later, the Coon family from Kansas City was struggling with their own tragedy. Melissa Coon’s son, Allen, was targeted in the school he attended, East High School.  During a discussion regarding Black History Month, Allen, who is white, tried to answer a question when his African-American teacher, Ms. Karla Dorsey, said to him, “What would you know about it?  You’re not our race.”  (The Moral Liberal, March 25, 2012)

Probably far less people know about what happened to Allen Coon than what happened to Trayvon Martin.  There is no justification for comparing the two incidents.  One boy is dead while the other still lives. But both incidents reveal that racial hatred is still a cancer that affects our culture. Allen Coon, 13,  was approached by two older black males who doused him with gasoline and set him on fire. An investigation into the incident indicates it was a hate crime because of what was said as they set Coon aflame, “This is what you deserve.  You get what you deserve, white boy.”  (Katie Pavlich, News Editor, Townhall, March 5, 2012)

Certain Americans are questioning why they didn’t hear President Obama’s voice when Allen Coon was set aflame. Why didn’t Attorney General Eric Holder condemn this horrendous crime?  Why didn’t MSNBC’s Al Sharpton and Rainbow Coalition’s Jesse Jackson and Muslim leader Louis Farrakhan mount their steeds and ride into St. Louis declaring all hate, whether perpetrated by blacks or whites, wrong and unacceptable?

We so often vehemently rise up against the sin we see in others, a reflection of a sin that may be prevalent in our own lives.  Rather than confess our own sins to God, we try to justify them by discovering and magnifying them in others.  We feel so much better about ourselves if we can find someone worse than we are.  We feel a measure of self-hatred when we see our ugly reflection in the humanity of others.  Racial hatred exists and always will because the hearts of men are depraved.  Laws and courts and attorneys may be useful in limiting the effects of racial hatred in our society, but only the grace of God can eliminate the stain of racial hatred from the soul.  Shouldn’t that be the message of the ‘Reverends’ Jackson and Sharpton?

Congressional Attempts To Make Obama A Legal POTUS

The following video will explain how corrupt our government officials are. Notice who the players in this are, and it’s all according to official government records. There is no question that our country has been corrupted and compromised at the highest levels. It’s time to cuff and stuff these Constitution killing domestic terrorists!

Our elected officials are supposed to protect and defend the United States Constitution. We need a clean sweep in this election cycle if we are ever to restore our country to it’s former glory. Wake up, America, before it’s too late.

Former Intelligence Officer Puts Joe Biden In His Place

On March 19, speaking at a Morris Township, New Jersey Democratic Party fundraiser, Vice President Joe Biden provided what may be the mother of all election year bumper stickers when he asserted, “Osama Bin Laden is dead and General Motors is alive. Think about it.” To help wrap our minds around these two facts, referring to the May 1, 2011 raid that killed Bin Laden, the Veep boasted, “You can go back 500 years. You cannot find a more audacious plan.”

Indeed the raid succeeded. No Americans were killed. On the down side, the United States left behind a stealth helicopter for the Chinese and Russians to reverse engineer. Nevertheless, President Obama made the right call. Seal Team Six performed magnificently.

But the most audacious plan in 500 years? No way. Just keeping it to raids, the November 20, 1970 Son Tay Raid conducted by U.S. Army Special Forces in conjunction with the U.S. Air Force Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Service was far more audacious in concept, planning, and execution. The Son Tay Raid involved two C-130E assault transports, an HH-3E Jolly Green Giant, and five larger HH-53 Super Jolly Green Giant rescue helicopters flying at night, at altitudes below 500 feet for 200 miles across northern Laos into North Vietnam to a prison camp located 28 miles north of Hanoi. The objective: free American prisoners of war thought to be held in the camp.

Planning for the raid started in June 1970 with practice conducted at night on a collapsible replica of the Son Tay prison located deep inside the swamplands that are part of Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. Every morning, the “prison compound” was dismantled to prevent Soviet reconnaissance satellites from discovering it. Dubbed “Operation Ivory Coast” to divert speculation from Southeast Asia to Africa, the raiders were not told of their objective until hours before the raid, which departed Udorn Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand just after dark.

The raiding party arrived intact. Enemy radio intercepts indicated a major invasion was under way and, perhaps, the United States had used a nuclear weapon. I know. I was one of two intelligence watch-officers on duty at Udorn when the raid took place. Unfortunately, the prisoners had been moved out of Son Tay months before the raid, leaving behind a small contingent of guards who died that night. The raiders also killed up to 200 enemy sappers undergoing training at a school located a quarter mile from Son Tay. The only losses were the HH-3E, which was purposefully crashed into the compound so that Special Forces troops inside could neutralize the defenders before they had a chance to kill the prisoners, and an F-105F Wild Weasel badly damaged while attacking a surface-to-air missile site. Before departing Son Tay, the raiders destroyed the chopper, and a returning Jolly Green Giant picked up the two-man crew of the F-105. A North Vietnamese MiG-21 was lost after a rescue chopper it was pursuing at tree-top level hopped over a mountain ridge into which the pursuing MiG plowed.

The raid showed Hanoi’s leadership how vulnerable it was to attack and focused the world’s attention on the plight of American POWs held in North Vietnam. It also increased the morale of prisoners who knew they had not been abandoned. Finally, fearing the United States might attempt another raid; the North Vietnamese moved all POWs from outlying camps into two or three central complexes in Hanoi. This afforded the prisoners more contact with each other and helped establish who remained alive.

Just as audacious was the 1976 Entebbe Raid, Operation Thunderbolt / Operation Yoni, conducted by the Israelis to rescue Jewish passengers being held captive in Uganda by Palestinian and German terrorists. Operations Ivory Coast and Thunderbolt/Yoni are just two recent raids conducted within the past few decades. The action in Pakistan last May did not begin to approach in audacity the larger—and far more complex—operations like the Inchon landing in September 1950 or D-Day landings in Normandy on June 6, 1944, in planning or execution.

What is audacious is Biden’s indefensible claim. But, then, what else can the administration point to with pride? Doubling the national debt in three years? Half-a-billion dollars wasted on Solyndra? The Chevy Volt subsidized at $240,000 a copy? The administration might brag about the withdrawal from Iraq if the country weren’t edging toward anarchy. There’s no lauding the strategic ineptitude of declaring a withdrawal date from Afghanistan, an act giving the Taliban every reason not to negotiate. Can the administration brag about the unpopular healthcare reformthat Biden dubbed such a “big [expletive] deal?”

For an administration with lots of failures and few successes, bumper-sticker history may be all they’ve got.

Michele Bachmann “No More Presidents, Just Health Care Dictators”

I admire Michele Bachmann. In this short video she recounts how she filed a bill to repeal Obamacare the day it passed. She has never lost sight of the goal, and every day the goal moves a step closer because of her tenacity and vision.

Newt Gingrich Talks About Obama’s Russian “bend-over-and-grab-your-ankles”

Our treasonous usurper-in-chief is at it again. This time, he is whispering to the Russians that he will give them the secrets to our missile defense if they will just keep quiet until he gets re-elected. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was a ploy to get Russian money for his re-election campaign, which is falling short on donor contributions. Newt Gingrich explains in this short video why what Obama promised is so dangerous.

The Hunger Games Is A Libertarian Movie

After reading several reviews, I am moving closer to going to see The Hunger Games. I generally dislike Hollywood films. The messages are often sourced out of the Democratic National Committee and the ACLU, but just maybe I will give this film a shot. I would like to hear comments from those of you that have attended it both pro and con. The Southern Avenger sure likes it, as he explains in this short commentary.

How Can The U.S. Return To A Gold Standard?

This is a classic from the vaults. I miss Judge Napolitano’s show which was cashiered by the liberals that are slowly wrestling control of Fox News. First Glenn Beck was canceled, then Napalitano, I wouldn’t be surprised if they gun for Sean Hannity next.

But more to the point in this segment you will see a plan laid out which could restore America as a land of honest money. The politicians don’t want this, but it would be great for citizens and the economy.
