The SHOCKING New Cost Of Obamacare

Every time we re-evaluate Obamacare, the price tag goes up. America cannot afford this monstrosity. If it is not repealed, then America goes bankrupt. I believe this is what Obama wants.

A Conservative’s Call For Palin To Run As A Third Party Candidate

Sarah Palin speaking CPAC 2 SC A Conservatives Call for Palin To Run As A Third Party Candidate

After listening to a recent Rush Limbaugh segment where he reads a letter from a conservative friend who is in despair at a Romney Republican ticket, it got me thinking about the dilemma we are in.

We have been told from the beginning by both the mainstream media and Republican establishment that Romney is the “inevitable” candidate—most recently by George H. W. Bush, telling us that we should “know when to fold ‘em.”

As Rush Limbaugh’s friend states, it looks like it is inevitable that conservatives will have to back the Republican establishment that have sat on the sidelines while those of us conservatives—Tea Partiers—have been fighting in the trenches. And it looks like it is inevitable that we will have to back Romney, a candidate who laid the foundation for Obamacare. A guy who doesn’t believe what we believe. A guy who will probably shake the conservative “Etch-a-Sketch” mask if he wins.

Yes, I said if.

We have a President who is a radical, who runs roughshod over Congress. If the Supreme Court strikes down Obamacare, then what is to stop him from running roughshod over their ruling? He has stabbed Israel in the back several times. He is gutting our military. He routinely apologizes to and coddles our enemies.

So, the theory is that in order to stop Obama, we have to back Romney. But as Newt Gingrich has stated, and many others also, a moderate in the form of Bob Dole lost. A moderate in the form of John McCain lost. Will it be different with Romney? I don’t think so.

I have been behind Newt Gingrich from almost the beginning. Newt’s campaign has been “dead” several times per the mainstream media and Republican establishment. Newt was the first and only candidate to come out swinging against Obama’s war on religion with the HHS mandate. He was the first and only candidate to excoriate Obama’s apology to Karzai after the Koran burnings. He was the only candidate to have kept Obama on the ropes with his phony energy policy. In response to Gingrich’s “Drill Here, Drill Now/$2.50 gas” campaign (his attack of Obama’s “anti-Energy” Secretary Steven Chu and deceptive and misleading energy statistics,) Obama gave no less than six “energy” speeches. As we remember, his first and most ludicrous one was where he cited algae as the savior of high energy prices.

While Santorum was talking about the evils of contraception and Romney was talking about how much he liked lakes and trees and cars, Newt Gingrich was coming up with bold solutions.

You may now think that I’m am calling for a third party—a Tea Party ticket—in the form of Newt Gingrich.

No.

I think he should be a part of that ticket, perhaps as Energy Secretary, or even as Vice President.

Newt is the greatest ideas guy. The greatest solutions guy. The greatest get-things-done guy. But for whatever reason, even though he has a huge support base, a large segment of the population will not back him on his own. As to why this is, I don’t know. While Santorum and Romney are playing in the sand box with their Etch-a-Sketches, Gingrich is burning rubber around the country, grinding on Obama’s nerves. Of course, the MSM routinely ignores him, which doesn’t help.

But, after listening to Rush Limbaugh’s monologue, I came to the conclusion that a Newt Gingrich ticket is not going to happen. But I also came to the conclusion that a Romney ticket will hand Obama another term—which is not merely another term but a transformation of this country that will look mild compared to what he has already done. If Obama gets another term, there will be no United States. I’m sure of it, and many other in the Tea Party movement are sure of it also.

Now we have also been told that a third party will hand Obama the election on a silver platter by splitting the vote. This theory’s basis is in the form of what happened with Ross Perot. But Ross Perot with his idiotic charts and rambling speeches was more of an aberration than a candidate.

Before I supported Gingrich, I was behind Sarah Palin. When she announced she would not run for President, like many other Palin supporters, I felt like the wind was knocked out of me. I was literally in tears, and I’m sure I was not alone. America had gathered under the shadow of Mama Grizzly, protecting us from the unjust charges of racism and extremism.

When Sarah Palin announced she was not running for President, Mama Grizzly left us. However, she was not far away, still watching over us, protecting us. We were like a cub foraging on its own for the first time, making it independent and strong.

But it is time for us to return to Mama Grizzly. Not as a cub, but as a member of the pack, co-equal, and supporting her as the leader of this pack—of this army—to save America. To get us working again. To support our soldiers and allies again.

Mama Grizzly, I want you to run on a third party—a Tea Party ticket. Fight for us once again, Mama Grizzly, not as a mother over her cub, but as members of your pack.

Obama, The Russians, And Missile Defense: Historical Parallels

Obama Bear Hunting Putin SC Obama, the Russians, and Missile Defense: Historical Parallels

President Obama has caused quite a stir with a private comment made to Russian President Dimitri Medvedev. In discussing missile defense, Obama suggested he would be prepared to yield to Russian demands after the November election. “This is my last election,” said Obama, not knowing his words were being picked up by an open microphone. “After my election, I have more flexibility.” A pleased Medvedev replied: “I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir [Putin].”

This is a big deal. Obama understands that his longtime stance against U.S. missile defense—while in full accord with Russian leadership—is not popular with Americans. He cannot codify his stance in a formal agreement with Medvedev and Putin until after the November election—assuming he wins. It was a rare moment when Obama was caught on tape expressing his true beliefs.

Those beliefs are no surprise. Barack Obama has never supported missile defense. In 2008, he openly campaigned to “cut investments.” It is most unfortunate that Americans would elect to the White House a man who rejects missile defense. Time and time again, in poll after poll, the vast majority of Americans have stated that if a nuclear missile were fired at the United States, we should have a missile-defense system (we do not) that would shoot it down. They believe this despite voting for Democratic presidential nominees who blocked missile defense: Al Gore, John Kerry, and Obama.

That said, I was taken aback by the historical irony of Obama’s comment to Medvedev. It came 29 years almost to the day that Ronald Reagan, on March 23, 1983, announced his Strategic Defense Initiative. More fitting, Obama’s remarks came precisely during the period in 1983 when liberal Democrats lined up to ridicule Reagan’s SDI.

Immediately after Reagan’s announcement, Senator Ted Kennedy dashed to the Senate floor to mock the SDI speech as “misleading Red-scare tactics and reckless Star Wars schemes.” The term quickly found itself typed into New York Times headlines that day. Kennedy inspired other Democrats to follow suit. Senator Daniel Inouye (D-Hawaii) dismissed Reagan’s talk of “Buck Rogers” weapons. Congresswoman Barbara Boxer (D-CA), today a U.S. senator from California, chuckled at the president’s “astrological dream.” Boxer ridiculed Reagan’s vision of flying parking “’garages’ in orbit.” The leftist scientist Carl Sagan, the face of Cosmos, a popular PBS series, joined the fun, howling at Reagan’s silly machine: “In the foreground comes a very attractive laser battle station,” guffawed Sagan, “which then makes a noise like bzzzt … bzzzt … bzzzt.”

Needless to say, the Kremlin absolutely loved this (click here and here). It was a badly needed gift, courtesy of America’s Democrats. Reagan’s announcement had terrified the Russians. They needed a way to turn the tables. They adored the lines about “Star Wars” and “Buck Rogers.” They instantly co-opted the language and created a full propaganda campaign built precisely on these terms of derision by Democrats.

Like with Barack Obama’s statement against missile defense today, the Russians were elated.

That was March 1983. And yet, President Obama’s comments bring to mind another troubling historical analogy. They follow Obama’s September 17, 2009 announcement cancelling plans for joint missile defense between the United States, Poland, and the Czech Republic—former “Captive Nations” of the Soviet Bloc that have become superb U.S. allies, and who still fear the Russians. Obama’s action was a shocking betrayal of these two allies, and it was done to mollify Vladimir Putin and the Russians.

Poles and Czechs were stunned. But Poles especially were aghast at the timing of Obama’s decision: It came exactly 70 years to the day—September 17, 1939—that Stalin’s Red Army, in compliance with the Hitler-Stalin Pact, invaded Poland. The Soviets thereby joined the Nazis in assaulting Poland and starting World War II. Among other calamities for Poland, such as the Katyn Woods massacre, this joint attack made possible the Warsaw Ghetto and Auschwitz. Poland somehow survived, but its Jews did not.

Back then, too, in September 1939, Poland was virtually defenseless, and Uncle Sam didn’t help.

This time, in September 2009, Poles and Czechs were asking for something much simpler: a U.S. commitment to the joint missile-defense system that America had promised under its previous president. No American troops were requested, no American tanks, planes, rifles, bullets, grenades. Only a defense system.

President Obama reversed that promise on September 17, 2009.

Many Poles saw the move as another painful example of Uncle Sam siding with Russia at Poland’s expense and to Poland’s detriment, a tragic history that goes back to Yalta in February 1945.

President Obama’s moves on missile defense contain some chilling historical parallels. This is not good.

Will any of this matter to Obama’s supporters? No, it won’t.

Trayvon Martin’s Death Signals Deeper Problems

Trayvon Martin Protest SC Trayvon Martins Death Signals Deeper Problems

The justifiable outrage over the death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Florida should give all Americans reason for pause. How could an unarmed young man carrying a bag of skittles threaten gun-carrying neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman, who was almost twice Martin’s weight?

Certainly the situation grows more complicated as emotions soar, but a look into the crime statistics in Sanford, Florida might help to answer this question. According to neigborhoodscout.com, Sanford has a crime index of 3 out of 100 (100 being safest), which is one of the highest crime rates in America “compared to all communities of all sizes — from the smallest towns to the very largest cities.”

With a population of just over 50,000 Sanford has 59 crimes per square mile, 69 crimes per 1000 residents, and one in 15 for property crimes. The prospect of having your car stolen is one in 255, and the probability of someone becoming a victim of murder, rape, robbery and assault, is one in 150.

These crime statistics do not necessarily give license for vigilante justice, but they certainly help to paint a picture about the conditions of a place that most of us would not want to raise a family, if we had the choice.

There are always two sides to every story, and, according to the Sun Sentinel, there is much more about this story to be told. Police told the Sun Sentinel that eyewitnesses claim there was an altercation between the two men. Witnesses said Zimmerman “was punched to the ground by Martin, and his head [was] slammed into the sidewalk several times, leaving him bloody and battered.”

Was this alleged altercation grounds for shooting? The Sunshine State’s “Stand Your Ground’ law says it is. Because Zimmerman claimed, and initial evidence showed, he acted in self-defense, Zimmerman was not arrested. You can view the Sanford Police Department’s official statement on the city’s website that states Florida Statute prohibited the department from arresting Zimmerman based on facts and circumstances they had at the time.

Sadly, but to no surprise, the tragic death of this 6-foot-3 teenager has been turned into a political opportunity, a circus even, by those who prefer to paint the world in black and white. But it’s seldom that simple.

Had an adult been in residence at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, cooler heads would have certainly prevailed. President Obama’s public statement, “If I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon” did little to help matters, because soon after, conditions deteriorated. This race-baiting rally cry granted us the opportunity to peer through the same monochromatic lenses Obama uses to see life. (Remember his Boston cop comments and the ensuing beer apology party?)

Not long after Obama’s statement, activists declared war against white people. Despite the fact that Zimmerman is Hispanic, the New Black Panther Party pegged the incident as a white man’s crime, and offered a $10,000 bounty for Zimmerman’s capture. Adding insult to injury, the Rev. Jesse Jackson told a large Central Florida crowd, “If it’s a moment, we go home, if it’s a movement, we go to war.”

Yes, Reverend, we should all “go to war.” But, before we do, it would be beneficial to wisely choose our enemy. According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, in 2005, among one-on-one homicides, “93 percent of black victims were murdered by black offenders” meaning the biggest enemy of African-Americans is African-Americans.

Trayvon’s death is an indication of a serious problem brewing beneath the surface. As the saying goes, “United we stand, divided we fall.” The first item on the agenda should be a commitment to stand against those who would attempt to divide us by playing the race card. The next order of business would be to double down against crime in communities like Sanford, so residents would not feel as compelled to take matters into their own hands and “stand their ground.”

Jimmy Carter: Democrats Should Abandon Pro-Abortion Position

Jimmy Carter SC Jimmy Carter: Democrats Should Abandon Pro Abortion Position

Appearing on the radio talk show of conservative radio host Laura Ingraham today, former President Jimmy Carter said he believes the Democratic Party should moderate its position on abortion, which it currently supports without limits and funded at taxpayer expense.

Carter said toning down the stridently pro-abortion position would help win back Republicans who abandoned the Democrats because of abortion and other liberal social issue positions.

Carter said:

“I never have believed that Jesus Christ would approve of abortions and that was one of the problems I had when I was president having to uphold Roe v. Wade and I did everything I could to minimize the need for abortions. I made it easy to adopt children for instance who were unwanted and also initiated the program called Women and Infant Children or WIC program that’s still in existence now. But except for the times when a mother’s life is in danger or when a pregnancy is caused by rape or incest I would certainly not or never have approved of any abortions.”

“I’ve signed a public letter calling for the Democratic Party at the next convention to espouse my position on abortion which is to minimize the need, requirement for abortion and limit it only to women whose life are in danger or who are pregnant as a result of rape or incest. I think if the Democratic Party would adopt that policy that would be acceptable to a lot of people who are now estranged from our party because of the abortion issue.”

Forgerygate: An Open Letter To The Staff Of Andrew Breitbart, Part 2

breitbart Forgerygate: An Open Letter To The Staff Of Andrew Breitbart, Part 2

Following is a continuation of the now-infamous interview of Ben Shapiro, the Editor-at-Large of Breitbart.com, by Tea Party Power Hour talk-show host, Mark Gillar on Saturday, March 17, 2012.  The Author was Mark’s second guest in the segment that followed on the same broadcast.

Mark Gillar:  I’m going to…put you in a tough situation because it’s a subject that nobody wants to talk about, but you said “if you have tips, contact us.”  Why isn’t the mainstream media covering the eligibility issue? ….we have a birth certificate that looks like it was cut and pasted together with Elmer’s Glue.  We’ve got a Social Security Card that won’t pass E-Verify.  We have a Selective Service Card where the Pica Stamp is clearly faked…. You’re an intelligent guy.  I know you understand computers.  I could send you tapes that I’ve made of why this thing is fake, but yet the mainstream media is yawning at this, and so are a lot of conservative media outlets.  Why?

Shapiro:  Well, you know, I’m one of the people who yawns at it, because I just…I…I think it’s…I think that the amount of conspiratorial intent that would have to go into falsifying this stuff from forty years ago

Okay. Let me explain to Ben what that statement makes abundantly clear. It’s quite obvious to any of us who have actually looked into this – that would be “investigated” it, Ben – where you got that line of “reasoning.”  Here it is, from the always-reliable Annenburg Foundation’s FactCheck.org (posted on August 21, 2008 – desperately attempting to douse this fire before the November election some 9-10 weeks away at the time.)

Of course, it’s distantly possible that Obama’s grandparents may have planted the announcement just in case their grandson needed to prove his U.S. citizenship in order to run for president someday. We suggest that those who choose to go down that path should first equip themselves with a high-quality tinfoil hat. The evidence is clear: Barack Obama was born in the U.S.A. (At least their moniker isn’t “Fair and Balanced” or “The No-Spin Zone,” because they, like PolitiFact, Snopes, and even Wikipedia, are clearly neither as I document ad nauseam in O’Reilly!)

Okay. Call it a Red Herring or a Straw Man (the intent is the same – to distract and/or mislead), it is also what one learns in Seventh Grade English Class to be a “faulty dilemma” – a circumstance or event represented as having only two possible explanations, when there are clearly others.  So, according to FactCheck, either the birth announcement (two sources, one announcement, so not “corroborating testimonies” as is universally held) was “planted” by the grandparents (totally allowable under HI law, as extensively documented in the book) “just in case their grandson needed to prove his U.S. citizenship in order to run for president someday.” Of course, this is an easily recognized and dismissed absurdity (even to those of us who didn’t go to Harvard Law, Ben) or, it is proof positive that he was born here (in Hawaii, and thus in the U.S.)!

The totally plausible, and far more likely explanation, of course, is that they did it in order to afford to their grandson the abundant advantages which accrue to all U.S. citizens. There is an entire industry in the U.S. today known as Birth Tourism, which exists for the very purpose of bestowing such coveted privileges on the children of non-U.S. citizen parents. The U.S. is the only country in the world at this late date which still allows this practice.

Meanwhile, O’Reilly, one of the “subjects” of my book, claims to have “discovered” this information (the “twin” birth announcements).  He also arrogantly and absurdly tells fellow “non-conspirator” Karl Rove that “We’ve done the investigation!” (Rove’s own theory that the O. Admin. orchestrated all of this simply to embarrass the “fringe” Right is, indeed, a conspiracy theory!)  As an aside, while I did not set out to make BO’s legitimacy the subject of my entire book, the evidence of both fraud and cover-up – by all concerned – was so massive that I ended up writing in excess of 155,000 words on the subject!  And yet, just before the above conclusion in the same the “FactCheck,” we find this gem:

We think our colleagues at PolitiFact.com, who also dug into some of these loopy theories, put it pretty well: “It is possible that Obama conspired his way to the precipice of the world’s biggest job, involving a vast network of people and government agencies over decades of lies.”

Actually, the “vast network” of lies (also extensively documented in O’Reilly) have all taken place in roughly the last five years, since 2007 – although as only the Postman knows, the preparation of  the marionette started at about the mid-way point of his life.)

“Anything’s possible. But step back and look at the overwhelming evidence to the contrary…

I hardly need recite the astonishing lack of evidence for anyone who is a regular reader of this site, of course, but the Annenburg Foundation’s (former employer of both Bill Ayers and Barack Obama) FactCheck, just like you, Ben, refers to the “overwhelming evidence.”  Could we please see even one scrap?  I’m still waiting for him to unseal (or “find”) his school records, starting with Kindergarten and continuing on through three separate prestigious colleges, and his time as President of the Harvard Law Review. There is not a single paper out there published by the reputed “most able writer to win the presidency since Lincoln” – unless one reads my friend Jack Cashill’s Deconstructing Obama. In this book, Jack proves beyond any doubt that Bill “Just-a-guy-who-lives-in-my-neighborhood” Ayers, wrote Dreams from My Father), and, continuing on, the records regarding his disbarment.  Amazingly, the President of the United States no longer maintains a law license, nor does his wife– his Illinois State Senate records, his passport records, and his health records are mysteriously unavailable. Pretty overwhelming alright…!

…and your sense of what’s reasonable has to take over.”

“Reasonable”…like spending three to four years and millions of dollars – I have copies of actual Perkins & Coie Law Office billing records in the Appendix of O’Reilly – fighting in court to this very day on multiple fronts the release or examination of the original documents of which he claims before the whole world that he has bona fide copies posted on his official website?  Yep, that’s reasonable in the Left’s apparently distant galaxy, at least!

And so, Ben, I suggest that that was perhaps the extent of your “research”!

Shapiro (Continued): ….it’s just…it’s too heavy, and…there’s no, you know, to my knowledge, there’s no evidence to suggest thisand I just don’t believe itI know there are people who are concerned with this.  I think it’s a waste of resources. Number one I don’t think it’s true, and number two, even if it were true, it would have no impact on the political debate, because nobody is going to do anything about it. So it’s a waste of resources, and a waste of time, and it makes people look like kooks, even if they aren’t. So I would recommend that…I would really recommend that people drop this topic, and focus on who this president is, as opposed to…an issue that is not going to be an issue in this election cycle, and something I believe to be baseless anyway.”

What you really mean, Ben, is that you don’t want to believe it!  While there is a mountain of additional evidence, Sheriff Arpaio’s Posse has already provided enough to start legal proceedings, and NO ONE – who isn’t afraid of the truth – could even peruse the Posse’s findings without being floored by the sheer volume and irrefutable nature of the evidence. But you, Ben, “just don’t believe it”?  A bit of an odd statement coming from someone who refuses to even consider the matter, don’t you think, Ben?

With respect, Ben, I find that to be breathtaking in its not-uncharacteristic pairing of arrogance and ignorance – common bedfellows of the willfully (and woefully) un- or mis-informed!Gillar: Why can’t one more issue be brought on the table?

And with that, I’ll end this portion of my diatribe…to be continued in the third installation of my “Open Letter to Ben Shapiro” in the coming days!
