The Nation’s In Major Trouble – But Sign Obama’s B-Day Card

Obama BDay card SC The Nations In Major Trouble But Sign Obamas B Day Card

The Democrat Party Just Doesn’t Get It

While this country is in such trouble, the Obama campaign is asking people to sign Obama’s birthday card. I guess this is what a campaign does when there is nothing good on a candidate’s record by which to run on.

But it is so ironic that these ads to sign his birthday card are showing up next to online articles that tell how awful his record has been.

I was reading a New York Times article about how ObamaCare is going to cause a shortage of doctors in this country. And to the right of the article was this ad of the Obama family all in smiles, asking you to wish Obama a happy birthday and to sign his card. The first thing I thought was how they look like the airhead family, totally oblivious to just how bad a “president” he has been.

While many citizens are facing terrible financial troubles, largely due to Obama, we are being asked to wish him a happy birthday? And this is not to mention what he has done to the integrity of our nation by coming out in favor of homosexual marriage, furthering abortion, and by bowing to foreign leaders. They have got to be kidding. Seriously, I hope his birthday sucks.

Hypocrisy Of Proclaiming Tolerance But Not Showing It

Tolerance Ends Hypocrisy Of Proclaiming Tolerance But Not Showing It

Why is it that those who profess such great tolerance are often the least likely to display it? Why is it that “tolerance” from such people and groups who are highly driven by ideology is only extended to those who believe the same way they do? Is that not actually the definition of intolerance? Because a businessman expressed his opinion ( called “free speech”protected by the Constitution), the nation was this week subjected to a textbook display of intolerance by those who seem to claim it as their exclusive and private domain.

This past week, Dan Cathy, President of Chick-Fil-A, said in an interview on a syndicated radio talk show: “We are very much supportive of the family – the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that.” To any rational listener, that was an innocuous statement affirming a fundamental value based in historical, biological, and anthropological fact and just happens to be reaffirmed in the Bible since the building block of our society is the family unit that perpetuates the species. After all, how long would human civilization last if the basic family unit was anything different than that averred by Cathy?

But to some radicals so intent on redefining (irrespective of biological fact) our interpretation of our basic social building block, this was perceived as a vicious attack on their ideology and their agenda. And since they are such a tolerant group, they proceeded to show us just how “tolerant” they are by calling for boycotts, “kiss-ins,” and other types of protests against the family-friendly national chain of restaurants.

But that was just the beginning of the intolerant denunciations against Cathy. The Jim Henson group that created the Muppets showed how tolerant they are by announcing they were severing their commercial ties to the restaurant chain. “The Jim Henson Company has celebrated and embraced diversity and inclusiveness for over fifty years and we have notified Chick-fil-A that we do not wish to partner with them on any future endeavors,” they declared. Apparently, their standard for “tolerance” is not very “diverse” or “inclusive” as it obviously excludes people of faith who think differently. Makes you wonder what bizarre dictionary they use to define “diversity” and “inclusiveness” to exclude 70% of the population!

Others in the Hollywood community added their voices to the echo chamber of intolerance. Paragons of social and moral consciousness, Miley Cyrus, Lindsay Lohan, Kim Kardashian, and other Hollywood celebrities displayed their immense tolerance by employing social media to denounce, attack, and castigate Cathy and calling for a boycott of his firm.

Those who are against “hate” in the public square and our cultural fabric should take special note of Roseanne Barr’s comments. She sent out death wishes on Twitter, saying,  “anyone who eats S–t Fil-A deserves to get the cancer that is sure to come from eating antibiotic filled tortured chickens 4Christ.” And in typical social Hollywood class, she tweeted that those at Cathy’s company are “chick filet- nazi chicken f—ing pricks.” If I’m not mistaken, that sounds a great deal like “hate speech.”

Actually, we can thank Ms. Barr. Not only did she aptly portray the ignorance and bigotry of those who think like she does, but also for illustrating in exemplary fashion that those Nazi-like totalitarian tactics of intimidation, coercion, and forced conformity are on the left of the political spectrum, rather than on the right. Forced conformity through political correctness based on progressive ideals is an attempt to limit freedom of speech, freedom of association, and freedom of religion. Such coercion is antithetical to not only the principles of freedom our nation was founded on but is an affront to tolerance itself.

The irony is rich when we realize that the progressive application of tolerance is limited to only their ideological conformity. To them, tolerance is demanded for their behavioral and ideological aberrance but is disallowed for people of traditional values, especially Christians. Their freedom of speech and expression are absolutes to be respected and tolerated, while those who believe differently are disallowed those same privileges.

Tolerance, in practice, is not a universal quality to be collectively aspired to. Rather, it has become a selectively applied form of intolerance (and hate speech) from people who talk so much about tolerating all views and religions and condemn the very kind of speech they themselves employ.

The ultimate hypocrisy is to claim a standard of behavior yet fail to hold oneself accountable to that standard. If tolerance is a noble virtue to which our society must aspire, it must be applied universally, not just demanded of those who believe differently.

Former governor Sarah Palin takes on the Texas Senate race pitting the Tea Party against the GOP ‘establishment,’ Dick Cheney, and Chick-fil-A.

Sellout Congressman Writes Off ForgeryGate Until After Election

Shame on Congressman Steve King of Iowa. He is a coward just like the rest of the so-called “constitutional conservatives” in Washington, DC.

Court Rips Holder’s DOJ For Handling Of Black Panther Case

Holder The Magnificent SC Court Rips Holders DOJ For Handling Of Black Panther Case

Shortly after the election of Barack Hussein Obama, Acting Assistant Attorney General Loretta King announced the Department of Justice would not prosecute 3 New Black Panthers for Election Day voter intimidation. The outrage of DOJ attorneys who had filed the original complaint later increased when the Department ordered them to not cooperate with an investigation launched by the Civil Rights Commission.

At the same time, the Obama Administration insisted that politics played no part in the Justice Department’s decision to drop the charges. In fact, the Department claimed it was career officials, rather than political appointees, who made the final call.

But in 2010, Larry Klayman’s Judicial Watch produced emails acquired pursuant to a Freedom of Information Act request and lawsuit that clearly revealed “…the two top political appointees at the DOJ were involved in the decision to dismiss the voter intimidation case against the New Black Panther Party.”

On May 10th of 2009, Associate Attorney General and Obama appointee Thomas Perrelli emailed DOJ colleague and former Democrat election lawyer Sam Hirsch, asking “Where are we on the Black Panther case?”  The email included the “current thoughts on the case” of another Obama appointee, Deputy Attorney General David Ogden, 2nd in command at the DOJ.

Just 2 days later, King—also one of Obama’s DOJ appointees—issued an email to Perrelli and Ogden that included “an update on a planned course of action in the NBPP (New Black Panther Party) litigation.” Judicial Watch shows that this email “was distributed to Attorney General Eric Holder” himself.

In 2010, Assistant Attorney General Thomas Perez testified before the Civil Rights Commission. In response to questions about possible political motivation in dropping the New Black Panther prosecution, Perez stated “the decisions were made by Loretta King in consultation with Steve Rosenbaum,” later suggesting that dropping the case was simply a matter of “…career people disagreeing with career people.”

Prior to filing the lawsuit that forced the release of these emails, the DOJ had told Judicial Watch that the Department could find no records concerning David Perrelli’s “meetings with the White House on the Justice Department’s voter intimidation case against the New Black Panthers.” Yet even the national media had reported “at least 9 meetings between Perrilli and White House officials…regarding the Black Panther case.”

And just yesterday, a federal judge finally agreed that political appointees of Barack Obama did indeed interfere with the Black Panther prosecution. His decision came as a result of the Justice Department’s claim that it owed no attorney’s fees and court costs to Judicial watch for its FOIA related suits because “…none of the records produced in [the] litigation evidenced any political interference whatsoever” by the Department. But Judge Reggie Walton disagreed, writing in his decision that “…the documents reveal that political appointees within DOJ were conferring about the status and resolution of the New Black Panther Party case in the days preceding the DOJ’s dismissal of claims in that case…”

Three years and countless legal fees have finally proven what the American people have known from the beginning—that the Regime is filled with liars who refuse to prosecute “Holder’s people.” Isn’t the DC legal system grand?!

College Friend Speaks Out On Obama’s Marxism, Part 1

In doing research for his just-released book The Communist Frank Marshall Davis: The Untold Story of Barack Obama’s Mentor, Paul Kengor interviewed John Drew, a former friend of Obama during the Occidental years. John Drew states unequivocally that Obama at this time was a fervent Marxist-Leninist who looked towards a literal proletariat revolution in the United States.

Of course, we know that President Obama has surrounded himself to the hilt with radicals who included openly communist Van Jones, who would have remained until this day if not for the likes of Glenn Beck and an army of bloggers who daily uncovered more and more of Jones’ radical connections.

Was Team Obama that dense that they didn’t know Jones was a communist? This is hardly likely since there were YouTube videos of Jones spouting off about revolution literally months before Obama appointed him Green Jobs czar.

Obama knew he was a communist because Obama during his Occidental years, during his Columbia years, during his Harvard years, and today is, as John Drew states, a Marxist-Leninist.

Hopefully, the “revolution” that Obama seeks will be the overthrow of his presidency in November—or if we’re lucky, his impeachment.

Pothead Or Patriot: Who Is Best For America?

Obama Pothead SC Pothead or Patriot: Who is best for America?

As November approaches, more and more Americans are waking up to the choices we have to lead our great Nation. We have already had almost four years of Obama, and here are the results:

Backdoor amnesty for one million illegal aliens, gutted welfare reform, high unemployment (media reports 8.2 percent but is actually around 14 percent when looking at the U6 numbers), positive stance for gay marriage, pro-abortion, fails to defend DOMA, ruling by executive order (circumventing Congress), gutting the US military during a time of war, fails to embrace Christian and Jewish religions while catering to Islam, has presided over the first credit downgrade in US history, has known ties to domestic terrorists and communists throughout his life, is anti-capitalist (wow, too many to list!)

According to Obama’s own book, he didn’t just “dabble” with drugs like Bill Clinton did (in which there was a media circus back when the mainstream media still had an ounce of credibility.) He was a pothead and admitted to using cocaine…but the media is silent this time around.

Now we have Willard “Mitt” Romney, a non-doper who, despite being born with a silver spoon in his mouth, has tried to help America either by helping small businesses build and grow or by making America proud while serving on the US Olympic committee.

Willard may not be the first choice of many Americans, but the bright side of this is that he is not a COMMUNIST and has never eaten a dog.

Don’t get me wrong here; Romney isn’t my preference for President either, but given the alternative, I would rather have someone who is straight and sober controlling our nuclear arsenal. Stay safe, and always be aware of your surroundings.

Will Politics Solve Our Economic Problems?

Republican Democrat SC Will Politics Solve Our Economic Problems?

This week, we are in the European Union, here to observe the European economic crisis from a front row seat. What we found was even more disturbing than we expected.

The Olympics are in full swing, but you get the sense they are like the Roman Circuses of old. The purposes of the games are to distract the citizenry from the misery of their governance.

One Englishman explained their predicament to me like this: “First they told us this was the worst recession since the early 1980′s, and then they told us that it was the worst recession since the 1970′s, and then they told us it was the worst recession since World War II. Now they are telling us here in Britain that it is as bad as the Great Depression.”

He then went on to explain, “We feel fortunate here in Britain because in the Ireland, Spain, and Greece, people are starting to go hungry.” We could hardly believe our ears. On the continent of Europe, the economic crisis is so difficult that hunger is the result for the first time since World War II.

The economic problems we face are beyond the ability of politicians to solve. Since the economic crisis began in 2008, every three months on average, the political establishment in America and Europe has announced some type of bailout or economic rescue operation. What the politicians fail to recognize is that each successive bailout is like the heroin that lures and destroys the addict. At first, a small amount of heroin can provide the fix, but with each successive high, the addict needs more of the drug. It is the same with the bailouts. Each one is bigger than the next, and none ever heal the patient but end up making him worse. Instead, the economy has become hooked on the drug of lower interest rates and greater injections of liquidity. But in 2012, the finances of the governments involved, the Central Banks engaged, and finally the banks considered too big to fail only have continued to deteriorate.

It is never pleasant to say we told you so, but regular readers of this column know that we have been predicting the failure of the bailouts since the entire first endeavor to fix the problem was announced in 2008 by George W. Bush.

In America (as in Europe), our elected leaders (Republican or Democrat) are powerless against the storms that are buffeting our economy. We find ourselves astonished that any individual (be he Ben Bernanke, Barack Obama, or European Central Bank President Mario Draghi) would be so arrogant as to believe their actions can solve the problems. The business cycle of boom and bust is largely created by governments and central banks, and only time will heal the pain these institutions created (and only after they cease their misguided attempts to control everything.) In his most excellent book titled Human Action, the greatest voice of Austrian Economic theory, Ludwig von Mises, sums it up this way: “there is no way to avoid the collapse of a credit boom — and that more credit expansion simply destroys the currency.”

More medicine in the form of socialism could forever kill the patient. What we need is a period where markets clear, insolvent banks go under, and the government cuts back its meddling in the economy and allow free people to solve these problems.

The problem with this solution is the irrelevant politicians. In order to secure their re-election, they need to be important. So they will likely keep meddling.

The Obama administration has taken us to the desperate point where 40 cents of every dollar spent at the federal level is borrowed. Much of the borrowed money has been printed by the Federal Reserve. This is called monetizing the debt. Never in history has this not led to financial disaster. The empirical evidence shows the politicians are in a hopeless position, and more bailouts will only prolong the pain.

Has Catholic Church Backed Off Fight For Religious Freedom?

Obama Pope Birth Control SC Has Catholic Church backed off fight for religious freedom?

Last week, the Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, named Bishop Salvatore J. Cordileone as the new bishop of San Francisco, the capital of Gay America. It is no coincidence that  Bishop Cordileone chairs the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops Subcommittee on the Defense and Promotion of Marriage. The bishop comes to his new position as an outspoken and persistent critic of Barack Obama’s efforts to nullify the Defense of Marriage Act. He vigorously opposes any movement toward recognition of gay marriage.

Bishop Cordileone was a strong advocate of California’s Proposition 8, which when passed in 2008 prohibited gay marriage and was subsequently overturned by a federal court.

Since 2008, he has been hated by the liberal press and gay activists alike.   A 2009 article talking about the Bishop said, “As an auxiliary bishop in San Diego, Cordileone played an indispensable role in conceiving, funding, organizing, and ultimately winning the campaign to pass Proposition 8. It was Bishop Sal and a small group of Catholic leaders who decided that they had to amend the state constitution. It was Bishop Sal who found the first major donor and flushed the fledgling campaign with cash. It was Bishop Sal who personally brought in the organization that took the lead on the petition drive. And it was Bishop Sal who coordinated the Catholic effort with evangelical churches around the state. Bishop Sal even helped craft the campaign’s rhetorical strategy, sitting in on focus groups to hone the message of Proposition 8.”

The piece went on to quote Bishop Cordileone as referring to attacks on marriage as diabolical and an existential threat to society. Unafraid of honesty in his fight to protect Christian marriage, he uses the phrase “The Evil One” and states, “If you take marriage apart, everything comes unraveled. It’s been frayed at the edges, and now moving more and more toward the center. But you take marriage out, it all comes unraveled. It all comes tumbling down. And again, the Evangelicals, they understand that. They understand this is an attack of the Evil One at the core institution.”

When asked about his position on marriage, Bishop Cordileone answered, “…my stance is marriage can only be between a man and a woman, and I don’t see how that is discriminatory against anyone.”

Is this a direct response to Nancy Pelosi’s persistent attacks on Catholic doctrine? In a word: Absolutely.
