How’s this for an interesting turn of events regarding the town that’s become “ground zero” for racial agitation and unrest?

Another country — one that we support with millions in foreign aid — is now advising U.S. authorities on how to deal with the ongoing protests, rioting, and looting in Ferguson, Missouri. And the poke-in-the-eye language this country uses is clearly reminiscent of what President Obama once said to them about the treatment of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Via BusinessInsider.com:

Egypt on Tuesday urged U.S. authorities to exercise restraint in dealing with racially charged demonstrations in Ferguson, Missouri - echoing language Washington used to caution Egypt as it cracked down on Islamist protesters last year.

It is unusual for Egypt to criticize such a major donor, and it was not immediately clear why the government would have taken such a step.

Ties between Washington and Cairo were strained after Egyptian security forces killed hundreds of Muslim Brotherhood supporters following the army’s ousting of freely elected President Mohamed Mursi in July 2013.

Eqypt adds that it will closely follow the way authorities handle the Ferguson race riots, illustrating how the events surrounding the shooting death of Michael Brown are resonating worldwide.

Could it be that the Obama administration doesn’t really mind this kind of “foreign intervention”, as the regime once again sees political opportunism in the racially charged crisis in the nation’s heartland…an opportunity to portray America as a country still torn and tormented by racism and social injustice? After all, Team Obama thrives on strife, discontent, and discord that it can cynically exploit.
