The six-month election recount that turned former “Saturday Night Live” comedian Al Franken into a U.S. senator may have been decided by convicted felons who voted illegally in Minnesota’s Twin Cities.
That’s the finding of an 18-month study conducted by Minnesota Majority, a conservative watchdog group, which found that at least 341 convicted felons in largely Democratic Minneapolis-St. Paul voted illegally in the 2008 Senate race between Franken, a Democrat, and his Republican opponent, then-incumbent Sen. Norm Coleman.
The final recount vote in the race, determined six months after Election Day, showed Franken beat Coleman by 312 votes — fewer votes than the number of felons whose illegal ballots were counted, according to Minnesota Majority’s newly released study, which matched publicly available conviction lists with voting records.

I didn't think felons were allowed to vote, but knowing this corrupt government they probably put it in that they could vote.

If the watchdog group has proof (evidence) of this, couldn't Franken be recalled? I'm sure voting by felons wasn't the only shady thing that went on during the election and the recount. Franken is a complete dunce who just takes up space in the Senate. A monkey would do a better job.
The 6 month election recount was a farce. They kept coming up with votes that were inadvertantly not counted, because someone left them in the trunk of their car or they discovered ballots lying on a table somewhere. He should be impeached!
Hope they checked death certificates with voters while they were at it, probably another thousand of them. Democrats know how to get vote regardless. Acorn was busy in prisons.

He never retained American citizenship on his return from losing it in Indonesia. Federal courts have twice shot down the devastating, ridiculous, outrageous ocean oil drilling moratoriums yet the Dept. of Justice, who let a rabid, violent, racist lunatic off right before sentencing him for voter intimidation, an Obama agency, spits in the courts' faces & will institute a 3rd shutdown of our oil drilling! The Dems are forcing Americans to purchase a product, completely unconstitutional. There are many unconstitutional parts to their nightmare Obamacare. When is someone with authority going to investigate the legality of the citizenship of Obama and while they're at it, investigate the criminal methods of running Washington like it was a pool hall full of Chicago's finist lawbreakers? I live in one of, if not the worst, states…. Minnesota. For all my voting years, 40+, i've seen this state continue to fall into the gutter because of the liberal democrats that rule/run this state. Mr. Richie of the state Atty generals office was most likely the person that allowed the corrupt election stealing to occur and or change the results of the outcome. Be aware how strong the Obammy machine is and the connections ACORN has nationwide in influencing elections. Just look at the person who approved the construction of a major interstate highway 35W that collapsed into the Mississppi River killing several people, Mr. Jim Obestar. He also approved 25 million funding for bicycle paths and trails the auto drivers only [ay for not the bicyclists. I felt for the need to update my post for 2011 on this subject. I can't believe Minnesota elected this guy. Oh that's what I said last year. Never mind. Prediction: He will not make it to the end of his first term, My guess is drugs or drinking, just a guess and zero facts to support this except he is about the weirdest Senator in the history of this country.
