The Tsarnaev brothers could have been deported the moment it was known that they returned to the country they sought asylum from (or when Tamerlan was arrested and convicted for domestic violence in 2009.) Neither brother was given the boot.

Fast forward to May 14, 2013, when the Romeike family of German homeschoolers are denied asylum by Barack Obama and his twiddling twin Eric Holder. The Sixth District Court of Appeals upholds the Obama Administrations decision.

Injustice, absurdity, incongruity, and perversity are just a few of the words that can be used to describe the nonsense of the aforementioned. Bombers are in, but good parents who are raising kids with world-class intelligence that soars above anything coming out of public schools are given the boot back to Germany.

The arguments that rage between liberals and conservatives were at one time only slight political disturbances that could be hashed out between men and women who loved America and would, after some debate, buckle down and do what was right for the country in the spirit of bipartisanship. That day is all but gone.

Now, the same government that wants to wrap up all the guns in the nation (and drop them into a place where oceanic reefs can start to grow on them) has successfully kept secret all the inner workings of the most deadly and stupid gunrunning scheme in U.S. history called ‘Fast and Furious.’ More than absurdity, that immense boondoggle cost Americans their lives.

Benghazi comes in next on the great three-ring line up, and culpability and responsibility are effectively being blown off by Obama and on down to the lowest echelons of our nation’s best prevaricators. The death toll for Americans has risen, not just in war or acts of terror, but by pure dumbfounding acts of absurdity.

As late as May 14, 2013, Press Secretary Jay Carney was found using the word “tragedy” to describe Benghazi. Perhaps a terrorist attack is a tragedy; but an order to ‘stand down’ after a call for help went out, coming from the Commander in Chief or any of his subordinates, is not a tragedy. It is an actionable decision that has repercussions and responsibilities firmly riveted all over it. Tragedy, no – absurdity, yes!

Looming, creeping but steadily approaching, is the stealthy but deadly snake in the grass we call ObamaCare.

One of the greatest teachings of the Bible is a theme that some of the best have used for centuries. It comes from the Apostle Paul and is found in the book of Romans.

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8: 28)

Some people argue that this verse and the principle contained in it only work for those who “love God.” No one lives in an isolated world, and what happens to lovers of God affects the rest of the world (and the same is true of unbelievers.)

The point is that if the world (or more specifically those in this country) will not take heed to the moral decline that is all around us, there is one eye opener that believer and unbeliever alike cannot dismiss. When the pocketbook is hit hard enough, it can send shock all the way to the brain, if not the heart and soul of a people.

Mr. Obama’s endless excursions to the back green and Michele’s extravagant vacationing will all get a pass until the cupboard runs dry for the rest of America.

ObamaCare, failed green schemes, economic bailouts, and the general mishandling of the nation’s treasury will result in a reversal for our pop-culture prez quicker than any attack, scandal, or controversy. Not even the Teflon President can escape the principle of Romans 8: 28.

Until the great fiscal crash of our time arrives in full strength, we may have to endure yet more absurdities.

The militant wing of ObamaCare, the IRS, is already under pressure for its role in targeting conservative and Tea Party organizations. Franklin Graham, son of Evangelist Billy Graham, was targeted by IRS hawks, making it abundantly clear that Christian organizations are clearly seen as a threat to the liberal agenda. Obama is shocked by the scandal and knew nothing about it. Perhaps, but would he have cared – if he did know – in an election year?

The other military (under the Pentagon) has opened up to pink power while fending off those filthy-mouthed and dangerous Christian witnesses and gospel preachers.

Pot smoking in public is OK in two new states, so liberals can at least sleep and snack more, thus freeing up time for patriots and conservatives to save what little may be left of America.

Barack asked God to bless Planned Parenthood at the same time Kermit Gosnell was on trial for brutally murdering babies in Pennsylvania. Moral absurdity seems obvious here, but not to Barack Obama.

Absurdities make for exuberant and heightened conversation and debate; but when there is no money for bare essentials, the rap will dry up instantly. The ‘good’ according to Romans 8: 28 (an awakening of conscience) will then start to come forth like the squeezing of the lemon, so sour – but so necessary.

This week, Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton (labeled one of America’s worst senators by TIME) signed homosexual marriage legislation into un-law after the un-lawful House and Senate approved it. In concert, these branches of the Minnesota government have proven themselves to be in defiance against the laws of Nature and Nature’s God, as found in the Declaration of Independence. In the Minnesota Supreme Court chambers, a huge mural of Moses awaiting the Divine Law of God testifies to their faces that they are incompetent to serve ‘We the People’.

It is important to note the chronological history of what took place before this immoral, unconstitutional, unethical, and unlawful bill was signed:

On May 20, 2011, I was invited to deliver the opening prayer at the MN House session. Unbeknownst to me at the time, the MN House was planning to vote on a constitutional ban on homosexual marriage (decided by the people in the November elections), much like 32 states have already done. The capitol was packed with supporters and protesters of the ban, and media coverage was heavy on the subject.

Even though my prayer made no mention of homosexuality, I was denounced by then Speaker of the House Kurt Zellers, a corrupt Republican who has since lost his position. The media flocked around to interview me after my prayer. While I was preparing for a press conference, I was approached by diplomats such as Senator Paul Gazelka who begged me not to talk to the media, afraid that the measure would not pass if I did so. The president of the Minnesota Family Council told me they would have to “distance themselves” from me due to the fact that they felt they had all in hand, and that my prayer was such an offense.

These “diplomats” were more concerned about not hurting anyone’s feelings than they were about protecting our posterity. They thought the route of delicacy would win over radicals who were determined to silence religious freedom and implement a radical homosexual agenda.

Their diplomacy was their ruin.

In a state with massive voter fraud issues (please research the MN Secretary of State Mark Ritchie and his involvement with fraud), the ban on homosexual marriage was lost during the November elections (along with Voter ID). Minnesota Republicans voted Rick Santorum (a strong conservative) as their GOP Presidential candidate in the 2012 precincts, while the House, Senate, and Governor’s office became controlled by Democrats. If Minnesota Republicans are this conservative, how did they allow Democrats to be in control?

Once in session – before they even implemented a budget – both the House and Senate passed homosexual marriage. Coinciding with this bill was the “Safe and Supportive Minnesota Schools Act.”

Can you guess what was included in a large portion of this bill? That’s right! Anti-bullying policies… including gender identity and sexual orientation. Wait a second. I thought this was about homosexual marriage. Bullying has nothing to do with marriage. I obtained a copy of this bill. Under this Act, there will be an attempt for schools to be revolutionized to normalize homosexuality, and anyone who disagrees with sexually deviant behavior will be punished. This includes students’ behavior on or OFF campus BEFORE, during, and/or AFTER school hours. All staff and school volunteers will be forced to undergo annual training to ensure a “safe environment” for – let’s put it plainly – LGBT students. In other words, the state is attempting to take full control of the beliefs of the children of Minnesota, which is a UN global agenda.

During an interview on my radio broadcast this week, a former senator from Minnesota, Gretchen Hoffman, told us that pedophile groups such as NAMBLA (North American Man and Boy Love Association) will be asking for permission to lower the age of consent for sexual intercourse, just like Canada.

This is criminal behavior from people who are put into position to uphold the laws of our republic and protect the wellbeing of its citizens. Instead, they are targeting the young to be made a prey by lawless criminals.

Before this time, MN Senator John Marty (a pastor’s son) had been deceptively trying to circumvent the people and implement homosexual marriage. In 2010, I wrote a letter to all school districts as well as all state representatives in Minnesota, warning of the destructive consequences of the radical homosexual agenda. Here are portions of the letter:

We all agree that our posterity deserves the best education, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness that our forefathers fought, bled and died for.  In order to preserve these freedoms, we must take care to uphold the laws and values that make a nation free indeed.  After all, freedom is not given to do what you want to do, but what you ought to do.

 As public schools already face challenges in teaching reading, writing, and arithmetic, intense pressure from the radical homosexual agenda is forcing schools to deal with a number of issues never before presented. There has been major attempts to normalize the homosexual lifestyle through education curriculum such as Comprehensive Sex Education, Anti-Bullying Policies, and the such (even going so far as to attempt to normalize bestiality). While the mainstream media wants to make this lifestyle out to be normal, healthy behavior, we want to make you aware of the actual statistics linked to this dangerous behavior:

• Captain William Riddle of the Los Angeles Police says, “30,000 sexually abused children in Los Angeles were victims of homosexuals”.
• About 1/3 of all sexual abuse cases among children are committed by homosexuals, and about ½ of all such cases among foster children are committed by homosexual providers. Please consider that less than 2% of America is gay.
  • 50% of the calls to a hotline to report “queer bashing” involved domestic violence (i.e., homosexuals beating up other homosexuals).
  • 33% of homosexuals ADMIT to minor/adult sex.
  • There is a notable homosexual group, consisting of thousands of members, known as the North American Man and Boy Love Association (NAMBLA). This is a child molesting homosexual group whose cry is “SEX BEFORE 8 BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE.” This group can be seen marching in most major homosexual parades across the United States.
  • Homosexuals commit about 33% of all reported child molestations in the United States.
  • 73% of all homosexuals have had sex with boys under 19 years of age.
  • Many homosexuals admit that they are pedophiles: “The love between men and boys is at the foundation of homosexuality”. At least 20% of homosexuals approve of homosexual sex between children and adults.
  • Because homosexuals can’t reproduce naturally, they resort to recruiting children. Homosexuals can be heard chanting “TEN PERCENT IS NOT ENOUGH, RECRUIT, RECRUIT, RECRUIT” in their homosexual parades. A group called the “Lesbian Avengers” prides itself on trying to recruit young girls. They print “WE RECRUIT” on their literature. Some other homosexuals aren’t as overt about this, but rather try to infiltrate society and get into positions where they will have access to the malleable minds of young children (e.g., the clergy, teachers, Boy Scout leaders, [Jerry Sandusky,] etc.). Sadly, we could list many, many more statistics regarding the homosexual lifestyle and their crimes.

As a ministry that is committed to upholding the morals and values [as well as the laws of our republic] that make us a great nation, we have been a faithful-mouthpiece on our nationally syndicated radio program with multiple thousands of listeners.  It is our job to educate America regarding who is upholding our Constitution, and who is not.  We urge you to be aware of the statistics regarding this subject, in order to produce an environment of the healthy, quality education that our nation’s youth deserve.

Thank you for your time, and we trust you will do what is necessary for the security of our nation, our posterity, and our freedom.

After seeing these violations, I hope you can understand why God calls homosexuality an abomination.

Minnesota has ignored these warnings to their own demise. If any of our students are punished for their beliefs or violated by perverted, sexually deviant criminals, Minnesota’s schools and state representatives should be and will be held legally accountable.

A preacher friend of mine just reminded me where the state of Minnesota just put themselves: “Throw rocks at God, and you will learn how gravity works.”

Who is Bradlee Dean?

Life is all a game to Obama. Like playing chess. The game is politics–above all else–at any cost.

Too often, he checkmates his opponents–the Republican leaders. He appears to have about all the cards–so far. But how much longer before his “House of Cards” falls? There are already cracks in his armor, just into his second term–the ones where he could ace out all the Republicans and be in complete control again as he was in the first two years of his first term. He bet on the Republicans folding over the sequestration, but they did not.

He bet that Benghazi’s mistakes would take little notice, as the Republicans would not pursue that, especially after he reportedly “stole” the 2012 election (by only 2.8%–large margin).

He bet they wouldn’t pursue the IRS scandal and the Dept. of Justice AP scandal. After all, he knew nothing about any of these scandals.  But now the liberal reporters are bristling. They are even asking questions (finally) about Benghazi, as it appears it will not go away. He loses the liberal media on his side, and he loses all.

He has bet that winding the war down in Afghanistan and bringing all the troops home at once in 2014 will ignite his base and be a part of his legacy–that he won the war (but with no forethought of how they will get jobs or even medical care, let alone the mess this leaves Afghanistan in.)

He’s bet  that the economy will turn around to make him look good, if they just tax the rich some more–yet we are facing even higher oil prices and possibly high inflation (and still high unemployment.)

He’s bet on amnesty for illegal aliens–11 million of them, and more and more will come then–buying votes in his bid to remake America (so he will have millions more indebted to him and to the liberals.)  He’s stopped deporting aliens and stopped the border fence.  However, Sen. Marco Rubio is working on a path to citizenship for these illegals.  Maybe someday, Hispanics and other illegals will realize that it is not the land of the free and that the Republicans represent their family values (and the liberals don’t really care for them, just for their votes.)

He’s bet that the liberal media will continue to cover up his scandals, his birthplace, and past. But the ‘chickens may come home to roost’ as the media are catching on now and may turn on him so that he could end up his second term either early–after impeachment– or be booted out at the end of his failed Presidency, going down as one of the worst and least experienced Presidents who tried to bring down America (the greatest nation there ever has been.)

All bets are off, Obama! We’ve come back from worse than what we’ve been experiencing today. It’s karma, and right will prevail!

While it might be apparent to those of us on the right, a Massachusetts congressman recently confirmed that Democrat policy is largely based in fiction.

Unabashedly using the movie “Skyfall” and its protagonist, James Bond, as a springboard, Rep. John Tierney recently introduced the ridiculous Personalized Handgun Safety Act.

Peppered with references to the latest 007 film, he contended “we should be able to agree on gun safety measures that will make our families and communities safer.”

The crux of his bill lies in requiring gunmakers to install technological components in all firearms rendering them useless when brandished by someone other than the owner.

James Bond “escapes death” in the film, Tierney recounted, because his gun “becomes inoperable when it gets into the wrong hands.”

According to the bill’s specifications, gunmakers would be forced to adhere to the new regulations within two years, and existing firearms would be retrofitted with the technology using Justice Department funds.

Nearly half of the bill’s supporters are, like Tierney, from the bastion of leftist lunacy known as Massachusetts. Unsurprisingly, none are Republicans.

Despite being notoriously unreliable in practice, such personalization software could easily result in distressing results. In the event of an armed burglary, for instance, an incapacitated gun owner would mean that the rest of the household is left completely defenseless as the firearm is rendered nothing more than a scary-looking paperweight.

Touted as a means to prevent accidental deaths, this transparent attempt to further prune the Second Amendment would do nothing more than making gun ownership more expensive and less effective.

Though he seems keen on using this particular scene as legislative inspiration, Tierney has not yet stated his position on another potential killer – the Komodo dragon ultimately responsible for the villain’s death.

Recently, scientists at the CO2 monitoring station at Mona Loa Observatory in Hawaii announced that CO2 levels in the earth’s atmosphere have reached 400 parts per million. Pieter Tans of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration estimates that CO2 levels haven’t been this high in 2 million years.

On the surface, it seems we should all be concerned with this high level reading of CO2 in the atmosphere and rush to do whatever we can to bring the level down, based on their assumption that CO2 is the main greenhouse gas responsible for causing global warming/climate change.

However, nothing could be further from the truth, both from the aspect of the high reading of CO2 as well as the assumption that CO2 is the main gas that causes a greenhouse effect in our atmosphere.

As with all other fantastic claims made by the global warming/climate change crowd, the latest claim of CO2 levels being the highest ever recorded in modern times simply falls apart when actual facts are examined.

First of all, the high level reading of 400 PPM is incorrect in the sense that it’s supposed to represent the levels in the entire atmosphere of the earth. This is because of the location of the CO2 monitoring station itself, being at Mona Loa Observatory. The observatory itself sits essentially on the rim of Mona Loi Volcano, which is an active volcano that erupted in the spring of 1984 and is currently considered active. The main gases released by volcanoes are H2O and CO2. These and other gases are constantly being released, both from the actual crater and from fissures near the crater every day. So what we have here are scientists at Mona Loa Observatory recording drastic rises of atmospheric CO2 but failing to admit why this is. Of course, anyone will record high levels of CO2 when they are looking for it near an active volcano. Thus, the high level reading of CO2 is a false reading.

Interestingly, most CO2 monitoring stations around the world are located on or very near areas that naturally produce CO2 such as volcanoes and fault lines, and near coastal areas where sea mounts are located. So, actual CO2 readings from any of these monitoring stations cannot be trusted as accurate.

Secondly, most scientists at these stations are not climate scientists at all but are highly educated environmentalists, masquerading as climate scientists. This is true of Pieter Tans of NOAA, who isn’t educated in any aspect of meteorology at all, only holding a PhD in experimental physics and a degree in theoretical physics. Since he has no education in any aspect of weather, climate, or overall atmospheric physics, he isn’t qualified to present himself as a climate scientist.

CO2 simply isn’t a greenhouse gas. Most geologists, “except those standing to gain financially and in standing from promoting GW/CC,” will agree that the driving force behind a greenhouse effect is water vapor above all else. Ice cores show an increase in CO2 levels only after a warming period, not before. Thus, increased levels of CO2 are a result of warming periods, not the other way around.

We can use the planet Mars as an example of the fact that CO2 is not a greenhouse gas since scientists estimate the atmosphere of the planet to be nearly 100% CO2. During the summer months in a given area of the planet, the temperature will reach into the 80-degree range. However, after sunset, the temperature will rapidly drop into the single digits. Even given the distance from the sun and its rotation, Mars should be experiencing a runaway greenhouse effect with temperatures well above 100 degrees during the day and not dipping below 90 degrees at night, with hardly any cooling taking place during winter season. Yet, this is not happening. Why? Because CO2 isn’t a greenhouse gas, nearly as much as water vapor.

Here on Earth, this can be seen in comparing desert temperature variations between day and night with those of very humid areas such as Florida. In arid desert areas, the temperature can reach well over 100 degrees during the day; but the overnight low can dip into the 60′s.

In places such as Miami, the daytime high can be 95 degrees; but the overnight low will seldom dip below 80 degrees. This variance in heat loss between these examples is due to humidity. Desert areas usually have humidity levels into the teens while areas such as Florida and the Deep South have humidity levels constantly over 60%. So, if science was serious about the Greenhouse effect on Earth, they would purposely blow oil rigs in most ocean areas to prevent evaporation rather than try and regulate a harmless gas like CO2. The bottom line here is that it isn’t about CO2 being a greenhouse gas at all, as much as it is about getting to regulate it by legislation for the purpose of financial and political gain.

Since global warming cannot be proven in any form of concrete evidence (and only exists in false data and computer manipulated models), it therefore doesn’t exist in the real world–only in the imaginations of those promoting it and in the feeble minds of those who blindly believe it.

We are at the stage where we must demand that those responsible for spreading this false information, for the purpose of scaring people into accepting their sinister plot, be prosecuted to the fullest extent.

Charges of fraud and racketeering first come to mind, aside from the financial scheme associated with GW/CC such as the Wind Energy industry, which simply supplies us with nothing while using more grid electricity than they ever produce, and very expensive solar power that would basically take a lifetime to get back what one initially invests for it.

These and others are snake oil schemes that cost us much more than we can afford. In this recession that is teetering on full blown Depression, we cannot have prices inflated to ridiculous levels on just about everything imaginable for the sake of a blatant lie.

The US is the only country in the world that goes along with destroying their own economy, based on lies and estimates of a dream. China, India, and most other industrial countries will not sacrifice their economy for anything, much less unproven fairy tales. Under the guise of saving the world from a conjured enemy in the form of GW/CC, the US is accepting outrageous unemployment rates, ridiculous inflation, and a previously unacceptable economic depression.

America was a great nation, shining above all others in the world until a few years ago. Now…we are a sorry bunch of individuals sacrificing the one thing that set us above the rest: our industry. Today, we are willing to become a third-world country while we allow the rest of the world’s industrial countries to prosper.

It hasn’t been a very good week for the Obama administration. In fact, I’ve never seen the sharks circling as they are today… particularly about the IRS abuse scandal.

You see, Congress is serious about this one. They have five years of pent-up frustration over Obama’s Teflon-like ability to shirk responsibility; and now that he’s on the defensive, they’re going to make sure the law is enforced. The Speaker of the House, John Boehner, asked, “Who’s going to jail over this scandal?”

Yet somehow Obama and his team seem to not understand the gravity of the charges leveled against them. Or perhaps they’re simply in denial. They’ve clearly lost control of the news cycle, and even Obama’s own people are starting to look out for themselves.

Not even the most committed Obama followers want to do jail time for him.

The IRS Scandal in Review

So far, Mr. Boehner and the media have mostly focused on the delay/rejection of tax-exempt status for Tea Party and conservative advocacy groups.

We see this clearly in Boehner’s comments: “Someone made a conscious decision to harass and to hold up these requests for tax-exempt status… I think we need to know who they are and whether they violated the law. Clearly, someone violated the law.”

But my sources on Capitol Hill tell me the investigation has moved from this first violation onto even more significant breaches of IRS statute.

It seems that, under Obama, the IRS has leaked specific information from tax returns and IRS applications of conservative organizations to the media and liberal advocacy organizations.

We know this because of a report from the news organization, ProPublica, which received the illegal information. An article released on May 13 states: “The same IRS office that deliberately targeted conservative groups applying for tax-exempt status in the run-up to the 2012 election released nine pending confidential applications of conservative groups to ProPublica late last year.”

And if that wasn’t enough, House investigators have also heard about another major felony committed by someone at the IRS.

John Eastman, Chairman of the Board of the anti-same-sex-marriage group The National Organization for Marriage (NOM), reported, “A year ago, someone at the IRS illegally disclosed the confidential portions of its tax return to the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the leading organization on the other side of NOM in the war over the definition of marriage. At the time, HRC was headed by someone who had just been named national co-Chair of the Obama for President campaign.”

The bottom line is this: Releasing confidential tax returns is a felony, and the review of confidential tax returns is also a felony.

The HRC reviewed the illicit tax returns and, after acknowledging the document was illegally received, placed it on their website. Soon afterward, the information appeared on the Huffington Post and in other news outlets.

Eastman tried repeatedly to get the attention of authorities. He said:

We asked the IRS and the Department of Justice for an investigation more than a year ago. An investigation was had, but they refuse to let us know who was responsible. We then filed several freedom of information act requests to get to the truth, beginning last August. But NOM’s requests have largely been stonewalled. That latest non-response response is priceless. The identity of the perpetrator, the person responsible for illegally disclosing NOM’s tax returns, is ‘confidential’ information protected from disclosure by the very same law that this individual violated.

Big Problems

Despite their nonchalance, Obama’s team actually has more to worry about than just Congress. The FBI is also looking into the IRS’s criminal activities under the Obama administration.

It’s been a busy – and shocking – week on Capitol Hill. We’ll stay on top of this scandal as the story progresses, and we’ll use our inside sources to bring you the big news before it breaks in the mainstream media.

AWOL Commander in Chief

During the Benghazi murders, instead of taking charge, Mr. Obama went into hiding, the various military elements having to stand down because the occupant of the White House was afraid to make decisions. During a Senate hearing, then Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta testified that neither Obama nor anyone else from the White House had contacted the Defense Department or the Pentagon during the attack to find out what was going on. This is not the behavior of a leader, but of a coward. As always, Obama pleads ignorance to distance himself from anything that may make him look bad. He has already claimed to know nothing of the IRS targeting of conservative groups or the tapping of AP phone lines. Having the FBI investigate these events will enable the president to duck any questions because there is an “ongoing investigation.”

Cover-up

The Benghazi “talking points” were changed for a number of reasons, among them to hide Obama’s ineptness and Hillary’s Clinton’s incompetence. The people involved in the creation of the false narrative were more concerned about protecting their careers than the fate of fellow Americans being murdered in Libya. On a positive note, at least a few people told the truth. Yet, to the low information voter, this is “much ado about nothing”. When Americans accept mediocre, indeed criminal performance from their leaders, they will have to accept the inevitable downfall of a once great nation, starting with the denigration of the forces that protect America and its allies. Honorable Executive branch careerists are too few, which is why Americans are being killed as the Nation’s protectors are told to stand down.  Americans are not safe with this administration.

Constitution

Article 2, Section 2, Clause 1 of the United States Constitution says: The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States. As President, Mr. Obama neglected his duty to protect the American Ambassador and others who were under attack for seven hours. When congressional investigators get too close to the truth, the entire issue will be declared off limits due to “Executive privilege.”

In his entire career, Barack Obama has never accepted the responsibility of making decisions; rather, he avoids it. In an actual crisis, the community organizer runs and hides. The American people should know where the White House occupant was while his employees were being killed. How can he be trusted if America or our allies are ever attacked?

Somehow, Dan Rather is still able to find an audience despite his very public ouster from CBS in 2004 after reporting falsified and unsubstantiated information about President George W. Bush.

Of course, his audience has been decreased exponentially; but the holdover from a bygone generation of news anchors continues to exercise his First Amendment rights via his own virtually unwatched program and as a guest on other leftist news networks.

Appearing on the Rachel Maddow Show recently, Rather was able to reach an audience likely in double digits. Unsurprisingly, he used the opportunity to decry Republican administrations of yore.

As three major scandals converge on the White House, MSNBC remained true to form; and the conversation between Maddow and Rather naturally navigated toward the topic of Richard Nixon.

Rather shared the personal account of a residential burglary he said was the work of “the notorious plumbers’ operation,” referring to the group Nixon used to halt White House information leaks.

“It was a long time figuring out who did it,” he said, adding, “this became common during the Nixon administration.”

His nostalgia was uneventful by MSNBC standards, though one detail included in his autobiographical account of the story was suspiciously missing from his on air narrative.

In his memoirs, Rather claimed he “did what any Texan would do,” describing that he “made sure the family was safe, then grabbed the shotgun.”

I must admit I’m surprised the detail about a gun even made it into his book, but he described the incident in detail through the written word.

On camera, though, looking into the wild eyes of Rachel Maddow, Rather neglected to mention that he pointed a loaded and chambered shotgun at a group of what he later learned were GOP operatives.

Honestly, that might be the one target for which Maddow and her deranged audience feel gunfire is warranted.

WASHINGTON — The ousted chief of the Internal Revenue Service is telling Congress that his agency made errors in targeting conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status, but he says the mistakes were not the result of partisan views.

In a prepared statement, former acting IRS commissioner Steven Miller was ready to tell the House Ways and Means Committee on Friday that the screening system agency workers set up was designed to deal with a growing caseload of groups seeking tax-exempt status. Miller said it was not due to “any political or partisan viewpoint.”

With all the recent scandalous information coming out regarding the Obama administration, it appears the Hippies are in charge. In the not too distant past, we as conservatives were called the “Silent Majority”. Well, silence may in fact be complicity. I do understand the approach that has historically marked the difference between conservative and progressive approaches to distrust of the government and our different reaction to that distrust; I did live through the 60′s and 70′s.

We, as conservatives, who watched the street protests of the 60′s and 70′s referred to them as “That Bunch of Hippie Trouble-Makers”, out in the street causing problems again. While I did not personally see the Chicago riots of 1968, I was serving in the military at that time, having enlisted in August of 1968. While I was not in Haight Ashbury for the 1967 summer of love, I followed enough of the reporting to be able to comment. To myself and many of my contemporaries, they were unwashed, undisciplined, dope-smoking, unpatriotic, mostly rich college kids. Kids who did just enough college courses, usually of the socialist type, to keep their draft exemptions. I suppose that is why the photograph of Obama holding an obvious joint, while appearing high, upsets me so much. I am also aware that by and large, he has appointed those of a similar mindset. A mindset we felt undermined our American values, our view of ourselves as Americans, and what we represent to the rest of the world.

Personally I think it fits in completely with my view of Eric Holder, the uncourageous radical who denies any complicity with any armed groups during his radical college days. A denial I find hard to accept knowing the popular phrase, “If you ain’t part of the solution, you’re part of the problem.”

I also have my doubts about Hillary, given the company she kept. I remember the phrase from Bill: “I NEVER INHALED”. While I have no doubts about her greed, lust for power, and prestige, I doubt she could have been accepted as a part of the group she associated with and not had the same view of the world as they did.

I was part of the military during those troubled times, times when you questioned your country’s motives under Lyndon Johnson and the motives of Richard Nixon for different reasons. I questioned as well (and yes, during a phase of my life, partook in the rebelliousness of the times and the infamous weed and the more powerful cousin hashish.) I understand the philosophy of free thinking while under the influence. That was cut short when I was part of a group that had a reel to reel tape enthusiast as a member. One night while expounding our thoughts as a group passing stuff around, he recorded our session. The next day, in a clearer state of mind, he played it back for us. We were perhaps more fortunate; we had the chance to listen to ourselves. Perhaps our leaders did not and may not have listened to themselves yet. That may be the root of the problem. Though personally, I think Hillary may always remember the line, “What difference does it make”. May that line follow her unto death. If I had my way, it would be inscribed upon her tombstone.

After being abroad for many years, I have often heard the leaders of the opposition parties in different countries express the same sentiment. You see, in Europe, there are many parties. They are not just confined to two similar parties; they have groups with many differing views. So, after losing an election, the party left out of government (or left out of the coalition that forms the ruling group) represents what is called the opposition. Their views are nearly always reported when the ruling parties make an unwelcome decision. Many times, the opposition leader will state quite honestly “It’s very easy to have a different policy when you are not ruling the government and don’t have to implement that policy.”

That is the problem that I believe confronts the “Hippie” government of today under Obama and his administration. They learned long ago that the riotous actions of their demonstrations, their groups (such as SDS), and the more radical splinter groups that followed would not attract the following they needed for change. Remember, Obama promised a complete change to the way the government of the USA operates. They are finding that as the ruling party, it is a different matter altogether to implement those policies.

Yes, the “Hippies” are in charge. The problem is that their form of government does not conform to the Constitution. They are trying to put a square peg in a round hole. This is why their lies keep unraveling, and this is why their methods are just wrong; they are in the wrong part of the world. We who make up what was once known as “The Silent Majority” must be silent no longer. We, as our forefathers before us, must pledge our lives, our fortunes, and our scared honor to stop them from bringing about the downfall of our nation. They are in the process of infiltrating our schools through Common Core. The are attacking our 2nd Amendment rights, they are attacking our 1st Amendment rights (through freedom of expression being targeted by the IRS), and they are assuming so many powers not listed in the Constitution it is beyond listing in a short article of this kind.

Just as when Nixon used his powers of office to spy upon and intimidate George McGovern, Obama is drunk with power. He has moved them in; the Hippies are in power. But we should remind them that they only have a short lease, and one that can be terminated at our pleasure.

With its ranks deeply divided, the Boy Scouts of America is asking its local leaders from across the country to decide whether its contentious membership policy should be overhauled so that openly gay boys can participate in Scout units.

The proposal to be put before the roughly 1,400 voting members of the BSA’s National Council on Thursday, at a meeting in Grapevine, Texas, would retain the Scouts’ long-standing ban on gays serving in adult leadership positions.

Nonetheless, some conservatives within and outside the BSA community have denounced the proposal, saying the Scouts’ traditions would be undermined by the presence of openly gay youth. There have been warnings of mass defections if the ban is even partially lifted.

From the other flank, gay-rights supporters and some Scout leaders from politically liberal areas have welcomed the proposed change as a positive first step, but are calling on the BSA to go further and lift the ban on gay adults as well.

The Scouts’ national spokesman, Deron Smith, said the policy toward gays had become “the most complex and challenging issue” facing the BSA at a time when it is struggling to stem a steady drop in membership.

The House of Cards is beginning to crumble. All of a sudden, Uncle Joe is back in the closet. Valerie Jarrett is nowhere to be seen. To the task at hand:

CBS’ Sharyl Attkisson bucked the trend and was the only mainstream media reporter who dared to investigate Benghazi-gate, and now it is being reported that she may lose her job over it. And the fact that the president of CBS News is the brother of a top Obama Administration official is allegedly not helping matters.

The Daily Caller is reporting: “The brother of a top Obama administration official is also the president of CBS News, and the network may be days away from dropping one of its top investigative reporters for covering the administration’s scandals too aggressively.” I wonder how a reporter covers a story “too aggressively.” I think if they had asked Bob Woodward if he was being too aggressive with Watergate, I think they would have gotten a different answer.

Attkisson, who is in talks to leave the network before her contract expires, has been attempting to figure out who changed the Benghazi talking points for more than five months. “We still don’t know who changed talking points but have had at least 4 diff explanations so far,” Attkisson tweeted on November 27, 2012.

But last Friday, ABC News reported that the Benghazi talking points went through 12 revisions before they were used on the public. The White House was intimately involved in that process, ABC reported; and the talking points were scrubbed free of their original references to a terror attack. That reporting revealed that President Obama’s deputy national security advisor, Ben Rhodes — brother of CBS News president David Rhodes — was instrumental in changing the talking points in September 2012. There is speculation that the Obama administration is keeping the survivors away so that they can’t do damage. The White House advisors never expected Benghazi to develop legs. Recent developments, especially the emails that were released the other day, show that there are concrete links from the State Department to the White House concerning the wording in the revisions.

ABC’s reporting revealed that Ben Rhodes, who has a masters degree in fiction from NYU, called a meeting to discuss the talking points at the White House on September 15, 2012. That is three days after the airing of the event. “We must make sure that the talking points reflect all agency equities, including those of the State Department, and we don’t want to undermine the FBI investigation,” Rhodes wrote to his colleagues in the Obama administration. “We thus will work through the talking points tomorrow morning at the Deputies Committee meeting.”

Mr. Rhodes, also a 35-year old New York City native and former Giuliani staffer who has worked for Obama since the president’s tenure in the U.S. Senate, has established himself as a hawkish force on the Obama foreign policy team, advocating for military intervention in Libya during the president’s first term and reportedly advocating for intervention in Syria as well. But despite his hawkish views, Rhodes identifies himself first and foremost as a strategist and mouthpiece for the president’s agenda. According to Rhodes: “My main job, which has always been my job, is to be the person who represents the president’s view on these issues,”

David Rhodes has been the president of CBS News since February 2011.

So the plot thickens. Day by day, the Obama administration is sinking into the mud and mire that it created after the attack on Benghazi. One question we need answered is: Who decided on sending Susan Rice out to mislead the public the way she did? That was such a glaring breach of protocol that even an eighth grader would have questioned the choice. As far as the display that Hillary put on, I for one care very much why our Ambassador was tortured and murdered (and why three brave men who came to his defense were deserted by our government and sentenced to an ignominious death.)

It doesn’t matter whether you are Democratic, Republican, or Independent. If you care about America and the future of freedom, you have to demand that there is a complete revelation of the truth. There is something on display in the Truman Library that every American should take note of. Harry Truman was a man of his word who did not look for someone or something to blame for his shortcomings. The sign on his desk was simple and straightforward. It read: “The Buck Stops Here.” That simple statement should be applied to President Obama and the Nanny Media that did everything it could to get him elected and prevent anything or anyone from exposing his incompetence or dishonesty. Now I am sure they will circle the wagons around Hillary and her preparation for a presidential run in 2016.

When the Democrats took over Congress in 2006, paving the way for the triumphal entry of Barack Obama, a shiver ran down the spines of conservatives across the country. For six years, Democrats had perfected the politics of personal attack, demonizing Bush and Republicans daily, relying on misrepresentations damaging to the country.  A complicit media was glad to assist, and too many voters succumbed to the seductive voice of the serpent.

Leading up to the 2008 election, many voices warned that it would be a serious mistake putting an unknown and unqualified individual in the White House.  Many others pointed out his radical background, his questionable connections to violent radicalism, and his glaring anti-Americanism. These prophetic voices were marginalized with charges of racism; and again, the media cooperated with a global effort to herald a new deliverer.  The Chicago machine had become an international juggernaut funded by foreigners.

After the election came the blitzkrieg: czars, expanded bureaucracy, legislative snowstorms, executive orders, insane spending, etc. In short, radicalization on every front, hope and change turning to fundamental transformation, with the Constitution and economic freedom squarely in the crosshairs.

Enemies of the state were identified, pressed, squeezed, and isolated for ridicule.  The first to feel the full brunt of the Thug Brigade: Sarah Palin.  When the Tea Party hit the streets in 2009 calling only for financial responsibility in government and respect for the Constitution, the Thug Brigade was deployed with the help of the MSM, attacking viciously again with accusations of racism.

The net result: deeping divisions, rancor, economic devastation—all the tools of Marxists for 100 years used to demoralize and conquer from within.

Had it not been for alternative media like Fox, talk radio, conservative publications, and a growing army of citizen activists online, the juggernaut would have entirely overwhelmed traditional Americanism.  As it was, alternative voices were not enough to overcome the juggernaut in 2012, although retaining the House in 2010 (thanks to the Tea Party) at least demonstrated the Founders’ wisdom in installing a system of checks to thwart the ambitions of tyrants.

And now what was predicted is coming true: when you elect corrupt incompetence, (surprise!) you get corruption and incompetence.  The short list of scandals is sufficient to end this nightmare via resignation or impeachment, assuming Republicans don’t fumble the ball: Benghazi, SEAL Team Six, IRS, AP, Fast & Furious, Boston Bombing, EPA, election fraud, Obama’s records, corruption in DOJ, and ObamaCare.  (Did we mention bankruptcy, collapse of the dollar, and escalations by enemies abroad and at home?  Stay tuned.)

Matters have so deteriorated that even the MSM has started seeing the light; and some Democrats have entered the CYA zone, fearing voter reprisals in 2014.

It is now up to public officials, patriots, and alternative media to keep the issues on the table and proceed with formal, criminal investigations, following evidence wherever it leads, even if it leads into the Oval Office.  As Marco Rubio pointed out recently, at the very least, this President has created an atmosphere encouraging IRS criminality; and according to Obama’s own words, he is responsible.  When your ‘leadership’ is nothing more than a revenge campaign, it is no wonder chaos ensues.

Finally, it is hoped that citizens will learn the central lesson here, articulated by Plato 2,400 years ago:

“The price good men pay for indifference to public affairs is to be ruled by evil men.”

Newsmax.com is reporting that former Florida Rep. Allen West will join Fox News as a contributor. Apparently the news channel made the announcement yesterday.

“Representative West’s congressional and military experience along with his fearless approach to voicing key issues will provide a valuable point of view to the Fox News lineup,” Bill Shine, the network’s executive vice president of programming, said in a statement.

Interestingly, he is cited as being brought on board Fox News for his “fearless approach to voicing key issues.” In reality, Mike Zullo, lead investigator of the Sheriff Joe Arpaio Cold Case Posse and Carl Gallups, founder of PPSIMMONS News and Ministry and host ofFreedom Friday With Carl Gallups radio found a very different Allen West when they spoke with him at this year’s CPAC just outside Washington D.C.

In 2008, the Left embraced the embodiment of the anti-war movement, Barack Hussein Obama. Obama’s anti-war shock troops put away their “Bush is a War Criminal” signs and replaced them with “Change You Can Believe In.” The Pied Piper blew into his flute, and his glassy-eyed supporters followed him into oblivion.

The result of a zombie nation voting for “Change You Can Believe In?”  The Middle East is seething with the Muslim Brotherhood vying with al-Qaeda for power. Our economy is about to collapse with an unsustainable $17 trillion national debt. Inflation is rampant. The Fed’s endless pumping is making the dollar worthless, and millions of people are out of work or have quit looking.

Obama is now embroiled in a huge coverup over Benghazi. He created a Tea Party enemies list through the IRS that makes Nixon look like a amateur. And last but not least, Obama’s chief apologist (the Associated Press) has discovered that their Pied Piper Obama used his magic flute not to charm them but to spy on them.

No problem. We’re just talking about failing to rescue Americans under attack, using Chicago thug tactics to silence your critics, and nullifying the First Amendment. It’s not that bad, is it?

Oh, but that’s not the half of it.

Obama has gone on a rampage by remote control, using drones to take out so-called “high-value” al-Qaeda targets. The only problem is that for every al-Qaeda target he takes out, scores of civilians—mostly women and children—are killed as “collateral damage.”

There are estimates as high as 98% of drone strike casualties being civilians (50 for every one “suspected terrorist”). The Bureau of Investigative Journalism issued a report detailing how the CIA is deliberately targeting those who show up after the sight of an attack, rescuers, and mourners at funerals as a part of a “double-tap” strategy eerily reminiscent of methods used by terrorist groups like Hamas.

Obama has killed thousands of civilians in order to prove to the American people that “al-Qaeda is on the run,” a fantasy only Obama and his minions believe.

Jeremy Scahill’s just-published blockbuster book, Dirty Wars, gives a laundry list of the “anti-war” Obama’s real record as a war-monger.

Just six months into his presidency, on June 23, 2009, Obama authorized the use of a drone to fire multiple hellfire missiles to take out a single high value target on a funeral procession!  According to Dirty Wars:

Scores of civilians— estimates ranged between eighteen and forty-five— were killed. “After the prayers ended people were asking each other to leave the area as drones were hovering,” said a man who lost his leg in the attack. “First two drones fired two missiles, it created a havoc, there was smoke and dust everywhere. Injured people were crying and asking for help…they fired the third missile after a minute, and I fell on the ground.”

According to Dirty Wars, this was simply one of the dozens of attacks on civilians in order to take out a single or handful of al-Qaeda suspects. The thousands of civilians that Barack Hussein Obama has murdered amounts to genocide.

Oh, but that’s not the half of it.

A nonpartisan group, The Constitution Project, in their mammoth 600-page report, has concluded that Barack Hussein Obama, the 44th President of the United States, should be indicted for war crimes in the authorization or coverup of the use of torture during interrogation on detainees at Guantánamo and CIA “black sites.”

Buried in the mainstream media amid the Boston Marathon terror attack the day before, on April 16, the Constitution Project’s mammoth study, “Task Force on Detainee Treatment“, has come to the conclusion that Barack Hussein Obama, under international law, is guilty of crimes against humanity.

In countless court cases and testimony, former and current detainees and witnesses report extensive use of torture.

According to the Constitution Project report, page 369, describing the court case Abdah v. Obama, Barack Hussein Obama secretly authorized the use of torture that included the prisoner being:

• Suspended from the ceiling
• Repeatedly drugged
• Whipped with electric cables
• Kept awake for days while being interrogated
• Shackled for days in complete darkness

This was only one of hundreds of instances of torture that Barack Hussein Obama either authorized or covered up.

Former naval captain and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, Dr. Steve Pieczenik, along with countless others, have called for an internationally-led Nuremberg-style trial to begin immediately in order to indict and try Barack Hussein Obama for war crimes.

Step-by-step, America. First, we must impeach Obama for abandoning our brave Americans in Benghazi. First, we must impeach him for using the IRS to punish his enemies. First, we must impeach him for nullifying the First Amendment by spying on the press. And then the world can get on with finding Barack Hussein Obama guilty of war crimes.

WASHINGTON — A second federal appeals court has found that President Barack Obama exceeded his power when he bypassed the Senate to install a member to the National Labor Relations Board.

The ruling by the 3rd Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals in Philadelphia came on the same day that a Senate panel considered a slate of five nominees for full terms on the labor board. Senate Republicans said Thursday they would oppose two of the nominees — Sharon Block and Richard Griffin — because they currently sit on the board as recess appointments.

In its 2-1 decision ruling, the appeals court said that under the Constitution recess appointments can be made only between sessions of the Senate, not any time the Senate is away on a break.

The court’s action mirrors a far-reaching ruling by the U.S. Court of Appeals in Washington, D.C., earlier this year. The Obama administration has appealed that ruling to the Supreme Court, arguing that such an interpretation would invalidate hundreds of recess appointments made by presidents over more than 100 years.

The latest ruling says Obama had no constitutional authority to install attorney Craig Becker to the labor board in 2010 while the Senate was adjourned for two weeks. Becker is no longer on the board.

The government scandals of the day are packed with irony:   from the seizure of reporters’ phone record to the bungling in Benghazi; from the president’s slight of Thomas Jefferson to the IRS targeting opponents of big government.  If Woody Allen, Carol Brunette, Mark Twain, and anyone else who made the observation that comedy is tragedy plus time  are correct, perhaps this will be the fodder of funny men in the future, much as Monty Python tried to milk a few laughs from the Black Plague from the safe distance of 600 years.

But the Plague wasn’t funny then to the hundreds of millions who lived through it and died from it.  And there is not much laughing room now in watching our government grow more lawless by the day.

Nothing can really top the irony of President Obama’s belittling just days ago of people who say we need to be aware that governments can become tyrannical.  Presumably, Obama’s disdain extends to people like Thomas Jefferson who have warned about the need for vigilance against government abuse.

Such people “gum up the works,” said Obama.

What works, specifically, are those?  The answer came within only days with the discovery that the IRS was politicizing enforcement of tax provisions.   To make the irony complete, that story was immediately followed by news that the Justice department was snooping on reporters’ phone records without benefit of court orders or warrants.

The news that the Justice Department has been snooping through reporters’ phone records at least got the attention of the news media.  It would be nice if the media were as concerned with the rest of the government’s neglect of the Constitution.  It would be nice to see the lapdog press turn into the watchdog press.

Speaking of ironies, there are probably many in the media who don’t at all mind the IRS targeting opponents of big government – Tea Partiers and those interested in the Constitution – just as there are probably many conservatives who really don’t mind big government harassing big media.

Just when you think all of that is enough, we get the news that the Justice Department, itself suspected of gross indifference to the formalities of warrants, is now charged with investigating the IRS, which is indifferent to just about everything.

Meanwhile, those shocked – shocked, I tell you – to discover that the IRS has politicized tax enforcement are either wet behind the ears, or just dangerously naïve.  We know that presidents from FDR to Kennedy, Johnson, and Nixon all used the IRS to target their opponents.

But use of the IRS as a weapon has not been limited to the executive branch.  In a Wall Street Journal column (“A Brief History of IRS Political Targeting,” 5/14/2013), James Bovard recounts episodes of congressional abuse, for example of  “an IRS official who had explained at an IRS meeting in San Francisco that audit requests from members of Congress or their staff had been shredded and also suggested how future requests from Capitol Hill could be camouflaged.”

Of the same practice used again, Bovard reports, “Audit requests from congressmen were marked ‘expedite’ or ‘hot politically’ and IRS officials were obliged to respond within 15 days. Permitting congressmen to secretly and effortlessly sic G-men on whomever they pleased epitomized official Washington’s contempt for average Americans and fair play. But because the abuse was bipartisan, there was little enthusiasm on Capitol Hill for an investigation.”

Sadly, it is true that the only time there is enthusiasm on Capitol Hill is when an investigation can produce partisan victories and electoral advantage.  That would explain Capitol Hill’s interest in the Benghazi fiasco:  If Hillary can be neutralized, and if Democrats can be faulted for mishandling Benghazi, Republicans are on the case.  But their interest stops dead in its track at the question of what we were up to in Libya to begin with.  After all, both Republican and Democrat fingerprints are all over the intervention in Libya.  And if the government was using Benghazi as a staging area to run guns to rebels in Syria – fighters uncomfortably similar to Al Qaeda -  then nobody wants to know.

The death of Ambassador Stevens and other Americans in Benghazi is a tragedy; but if the so-called diplomatic mission there was a CIA base, we deserve to know.  We do know that whatever it was in Benghazi, it wasn’t an embassy.  Or a consulate.

If the ambassador was really a CIA agent, that is a violation of our laws.  We deserve to know.  There is no law that commits the United States to protect illegal gunrunning.  And there is no diplomatic immunity for weapons dealers.

Where would the Benghazi trail lead if Congress cared about more than their own political fortunes?  Here’s a hint:  what we do know is that of the people evacuated by air from Benghazi the night of the attack, seven were diplomatic and State Department workers.  Twenty-three were CIA officers.

So from illegal operations overseas (does anybody remember a Constitutional declaration of war that authorized the U.S. to topple the government in Libya?) to snoops in the Justice department; from the targeting of political opponents by the IRS to a Congress concerned solely with the next election; from one badly stained department of government charged with investigating another to the president’s derision of Jeffersonian vigilance; from all this we are left to ask: who will guard us from our guardians?

Maybe it will all prove to be hysterically funny with the passage of enough time.

But for now, Ron Paul deserves apologies from those who, like Obama, believed that his calls for us to be vigilant about intrusive government were over the top.
