HR 2471, like a snake, is slithering up to the “moderate” Democrat Patrick Leahy’s Judicial Senate Committee, to be voted on November 29th. Patrick Leahy has rewritten this electronic “privacy” bill to instead allow the Feds, local law enforcement, and literally any local or federal entity to read any electronic communication—email, private Facebook Posts, Twitter direct messages, Google Docs, etc.—without a warrant.
Isn’t there something called the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution? Something about privacy?
Who needs the Constitution when Barack Hussein Obama can take care of everyone’s needs?
Will America fight back against this unconstitutional power grab?

I share your concern over losing privacy of personal Internet communications. What do you propose to do other than send emails to Washington? I find it difficult to detect the outline of a more effective approach from a communique that mostly accuses its readers of being too lazy or stupid to revolt against godless, tyrannical commies. I don’t readily lend an ear to people who start by insulting me. And actually, I suspect that people who profess a great faith in some god or other have inflicted as much tyranny as any commies or atheists have.

Fight it with all your might. Don’t presume that you’re safe, just because you never say anything in your emails ‘that you care if they read’. Don’t allow yourself to be forced to slink around in the shadows. That’s their MO – that they’re now trying brazenly to come out from, and on to center stage, and run the whole shooting match.
Which it is quite likely to become literally, if they keep getting their way, and people like you think that you’re safe from their ‘prying eyes’ , just because you ‘play it safe’ in your formerly private, now to be public, email communications.

And everyone complained about China! I seem to have no problems getting emails to our Chinese friends there. This is why we do NOT belong to any social network – Facebook, Twitter, etc. because they are already being read and/or provided to our police state! A revolution is just about the only way to put an end to it. Everything else has been about exhausted. The WH, Holder and the DOJ, and Congress don’t listen to “We the People”. They do what they want and what benefits them at the expense of “We the People’s” money, freedoms, liberties and rights.
America has a virus and it needs scanned for spyware, viruses needs to be quarantined and system needs to be rebooted to default settings and start over.
Unless the tax takers and tax payers go to the streets as one, we will only see more and more Big Brother controlling our future. The future may look a little like this: The rich or assumed rich will move from high income tax states to non income tax states. The government will continue sucking the life out of the middle class. Whatever money remains, the government will confiscate and give to those who don’t work. Regardless of how the actual process takes place, America is not going to remain the same. The Constitution and all of our other rights we have as Americans will be tossed to the winds of history. How sad it is that most of what is said in these types of forums is only preaching to the choir.

This is all nice reading, but very few people still live on spreads of fertile land that can yield them enough food to survive. Add droughts, odd weather patterns and it’s all a pretty much a futile consideration. The government already has your pie in the sky answer(s) figured into the equation. There’s more tax dollars to be taken on smaller pieces of land with homes on them so that the government can give more to them who do not work. America will suffer more because we as a nation have turned away from God and His laws. History ALWAYS REPEATS ITSELF! If anyone wants to gain understanding about where we are heading, look no farther than what the Bible says. Only a fool thinks himself to be wise. Without the provision of God, we are screwed as a country.

When I tried to post this link on teapartynation.com, asamom.org, and teamsarah.org, I got error messages.
We have to remember that Obama has former Google and Facebook executives in his administration and they probably use their expertise with his campaigns. Romney’s campaign software was amateurish and of no real use in getting out the vote for him.
We need to get cracking on putting together our own software programs. If Obama has had such great success with his programs, we might as well use the same methods. He was and still is a community organizer and is putting his skills to work.
I was less than thrilled when Bush started this policy, I’m still not thrilled about it but since we love war, this is to be expected. Ironically, it’s the “Price of Freedom”. Maybe they won’t put entire races in Internment Camps like they did during WWII with the Japanese and they’ll just put the wacky home-grown disgruntled loonies in there.
