Judicial Watch has filed a lawsuit over the federal government’s refusal to disclose how much taxpayers spent to send Michelle Obama on a “family outing” that included a safari in Africa.
The organization, which investigates and fights government corruption, earlier documented what appears to many to be the extravagant spending by then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Records showed Pelosi cost taxpayers $101,000 for in-flight food and alcohol over a period in 2008 and 2009. At one point she instructed the Air Force to provide chocolate-covered strawberries for a snack, since it was her birthday.
“Dark chocolate preferred” was the order.
Now Judicial Watch wants to know what taxpayers are spending for Michelle Obama’s vacations.

Actually Judy I'm more in favor of giving that family a little "time". I think 20 to 30 years in Prison would be justified. That after stripping them of EVERYTHING they have to repay the taxpayers for their thefts. Juss thinkin. It wouldn't be enough but sure would be fitting.

I have been a registered and voting Democrat for almost sixty years and I am a born again christian, BUT, I am fed up with the Obama's acting and living as though they are the elitist of the elite. A poster told other posters to google "Down Low Club" and "Donald Young" and I was shocked at what I read. Donald's Mother made some direct accusations. Who do we have in the White House?
Also, the internet has been cleaned of any derogatory info concerning Obama. There are three investigations on going…maybe one will convict Obama and send him to prison.
To my black and latino friends…Obama is using you…he only wants your vote! The unemployment for the young black men has gone up 150% since Obama became President. Did he route his $1.1M bus tour through any of your districts? If you want to vote for a born-again christian black man…vote for Herman Cain for President and to my latino friends, vote for Mario Rubio for Vice President I have been listening to both men and both impress me.
Congress has some tall explaining to do as to why this crap is still going on. Let's get them out of vacation mode, except Obama who inflicts less damage the longer he stays out of the White House.

What happened to Harrison J Bounal ? The story disappeared from view., maybe there was some truth in the fact reported by a skip debt tracer's investigation, when he found a person using that name, was listed as living at the same address as the Obama family. . Another blogger wrote that Mrs Obama had relatives with that last name. Its seems strange that someone went to all the trouble to erase the information and why!.

First of all it is Marco Rubio and he cannot run for President or Vice President. He is not an
"Natural Born Citizen". His parents did not become citizens until he was 4. I would like nothing more for Rubio or even Allen West to run. Neither wants to because they were elected to do a job in the Congress and they wish to do that. Maybe next time.

What a shame that the King and Queen cant take a little family outing like any other family in our wonderful country. doesn't everybody take there family and family's family and of course we cant take just one jet we need to be comfortable as not to get to crowed and muss my new dresses and my children will need there nanny's and butler for hubby and I need my secretary and staff to help dress me and hair dresser.
This kind of abuse of our so called first family is a disgrace that we should be able to put a stop to this. by making them pay for that whole mess that they think they had to have. Remember all the guff Bush got for going to Camp David or to his house in Texas to work or relax for a few days? Or to host leaders of other nations in a low-key setting where they could just relax and talk? Laura Bush didn't pretend she was queen Laura, she was a down to earth person who cared about others and spent time reading to kids and getting them interested in reading. She didn't tell them they had to read,or what to read, she showed them the pleasure of reading and let them take it from there.
I think since this is tax payers money we need to know all money they spend there are people in prison for doing things we are allowing.

Can't wait until Obama's out of the White House and then all of the "tell-all" books and FOIA requests about the goings on in this administration/regime. She flys to MV with the daughters 4 hours ahead of Barack on a separate plane costing how many hundreds of thousands of dollars and the President flies up with the dog and "Valerie Jarrett"? Come on. Earlier on, Obama told the People of the USA that we need to tighten our belts, but as usual that doesn't apply to Him & his wife & family, or to members of Congress. Question: How do we wake up the voters who keep electing these Corrupt people?? It seems that the farther this country has moved from God, the worse it gets.I will never donate money for Education & schools & colleges, since it also seems the more educated someone becomes, the less common sense they have. On the other hand, voters need to be educated more, since many of them do not have a clue as to how their Reps in Congress vote on different issues.

It certainly appears that the Obams think the taxpayers should pay for anything and everything they want. I believe the president's salary is $400,000 a year and that he has made somewhere in the vicinity o $4M on his book "Dream from my Father." I do understand that we must pay for security for him AND his family. BUT – vacations should come out of his salary and their private money. My employer gives me a salary for my work – but DOES NOT pay for my vacations. The only thing I (and millions of Americans ) get, is time off with my salary paid during that time. Any vacation expense is mine to bear.AND – what is the EXPENSIVE nonsense of them taking TWO planes to go to Martha's Vineyard? I am not convinced they couldn't have better coordinated their schedules to fly on one plane. What a horrible and UNNECESSARY expense to the taxpayers.Obama goes on and on about how we should share the pain – but HE cavorts like a king and cuts back on NOTHING.
