I don’t agree with the ACLU on everything, but I have a lot of respect for them when they genuinely stand up for the ultimate American right-the right to be left alone.

That is why even if I could afford a new care I’d NEVER get one. I will not own a car that tells me where to go and how to get there – ordering me around – that miserable steady voice at you constantly – one day those GPS’s will be programmed to all GPS units to lead you right into a FEMA camp ! That constant voice that I’ve seen cause accidents because no one pays attention to horns blowing at them if they can even hear them with that voice at them constantly. AS you drive that voice takes over your entire mind and attention ! It’s obedience training people ! Wake up ! Stop being so lazy and use a map as we always have if your are lost ! I’d not have a new car because of all the computerized garbage in them – with all their black boxes that control if you even are “allowed” to keep traveling or not – cops have a hand held unit that with the press of a button they can stop your car – they can turn off your engine !,- and with the way killer cops are today , no cop is going to get the chance to beat me up and arrest me just because they don’t like the color of my car or what I’m wearing – they don’t need an excuse anymore to beat and kill you. They just do it ! ! GPS is just another OWG obedience device and I would not have one ! Besides they make you take the long way around anyway – I’ve been a passenger in one of those GPS cars and you cannot even have a conversation or listen to music or do anything but stay glued to that stupid voice ordering you around ! You can have your “Smart Cars” I’ll stick with my 35 year old Van ! I like manual windows, manual everything that I control not the govt ! IF I go over a bridge into the water my windows will work ! Your electronic ones won’t ! When DC decides to throw the electromagnetic switch – my old Van will still run – your computerized electronic controlled govt car won’t !
