Election Fraud Is Ruining America (And How To Fix It)

by Floyd and Mary Beth Brown

One of the most surreal experiences of our lives was watching an unelected bureaucrat pick and choose what ballots she wanted to count in the closely contested election featuring pseudo-Republican Lisa Murkowski and Tea Party Favorite Republican Joe Miller in Alaska. Having spent decades watching ballots be counted in hundreds of elections, and never once have we seen a situation with such outrageous manipulation of the vote.

But I guess we weren’t in Colorado. Hot off the presses is a report that documents 5,000 non-citizens voting in that states highly contested elections. According to a report in The Hill, the “Secretary of State Scott Gessler, a Republican, told the panel that his department’s study identified nearly 12,000 people who were not citizens but were still registered to vote in Colorado…Of those non-citizen registered voters, nearly 5,000 took part in the 2010 general election in which Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet narrowly defeated Republican John Buck. Colorado conducted the study by comparing the state’s voter registration database with driver’s license records.”

In state after state corruption is beginning to undermine the credibility of the fairness of elections. We all remember the election officials in Florida holding up ballots looking for hanging chads in the Presidential race between Al Gore and George W. Bush. The presidential race in 2000 was sadly decided in the Supreme Court, and it undermined the credibility of President Bush until his more convincing re-election victory in 2004. To his day, we still see bumper stickers that say re-elect Gore in 2008.

In Washington state, Dino Rossi lost a governor’s race in 2004 only after the ballots were counted three times. Every new count featured the liberal King County election officials discovering votes that were not counted the first time. These votes just appeared from nowhere weeks after the election was over.

All citizens left, right, center, Republican, Green, Democrat, and Libertarian should be able to have confidence in the integrity of the voting process. Without faith in the process, the illegitimate election results undermine the ability to govern.

Let us suggest some reforms.

1.       Identification should be required to vote. No American should be offended for having to produce identification to prove residency and citizenship. This will give us all confidence in the outcome, and we will be confident that some activists are not attempting to vote in multiple jurisdictions.

2.       Every time someone votes it should produce a paper record of the votes cast. Machine tabulation is open to hacking and manipulation by the individuals running the election. If every vote produces a paper ballot, it leaves an audit trail that will insure integrity. A laser printer could be attached to voting machines and the print out could be reviewed by the voter for errors. Every ballot could feature a control number to keep it from being miscounted.

3.       Write in voting should be eliminated in this era of instant information. Instead of write in candidates, the actual ballots should adjust to allow additional candidates on the ballot. Filing deadlines could be extended to accommodate multiple participants and parties. Systems that limit the number of candidates in any race should be eliminated. A wide open process with maximum participation is best.

4.       Ballots not entered into the counting process during a pre-approved voting period would not me counted. Officials could say if a ballot is not found within a week of the election it would not be valid. This would keep

Unless elections processes are reformed, bitter partisanship will linger beyond the tally of the vote. Just the left felt betrayed by the election of George W Bush after Florida in 2000, conservatives in Alaska are embittered against Senator Lisa Murkowski and consider her election a fraud.

Only with clear rules and concise audit trails will we all feel like elections are won and lost, fair and square. In a high tech society that keeps records of millions of atm and credit card transactions, don’t tell us we cannot figure out how to validate voters and the ballots they cast.

  1. Allen Collins says:

Our founders gave us a government that they stated would only function if the people were a moral people. We are seeing the collapse of our country because we are no longer a moral people as a whole. The election fraud discussed in the article is at it’s root a moral problem. Although I agree that the changes that were suggested are necessary to protect against corruption, ultimately to save our nation there must be a change in the moral fabric of the people. Every issue that this country faces can be related to moral failures. So the answer does not lie with government. Unless God sends another awakening to change the people’s hearts, our nation will not survive in the form or the greatness for which it has been known.

  2. The liberals intend to take control of our government by hook or crook. They don't care if it is legal or not.
They want CONTROL. Read "the Liberal Mind" by Rossiter—-liberals are "incomplete people". Most of the problems America has today are due to the Inane actions and spending by the liberals. And Obama
is politically to the left of most liberals, in fact he is a socialist.

The best way for folks to get involved is to join the team of "True the Vote" from Houston, Texas. The King Street Patriots started this project 18 months ago and just recently had a nation wide conference to explain how to make sure every vote that is counted is a true vote. Elections matter only if you can be sure that the votes have not been manipulated. Check their web-site at http://www.Kingstreetpatriots.com.

  4. The Ten Commandments According to Obama the muslim.

    I. Thou shalt have no God in America, except for me. For we are no longer a Christian nation and, after all, I am the chosen One. (And like God, I do not have a birth certificate.)

II. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, unless it is my face carved on Mt. Rushmore.

III. Thou shalt not utter my middle name in vain (or in public). Only I can say Barack Hussein Obama.

IV. Remember my tax day, April 15th, to keep it holy.

    V. Honour thy father and thy mother until they are too old and sick to care for. They will cost our public-funded health-care system too much money.

VI. Thou shalt not kill, unless you have an unwanted, unborn baby. For it would be an abomination to punish your daughter with a baby.

VII. Thou shalt not commit adultery if you are conservative or a Republican. Liberals and Democrats are hereby forgiven for all of their infidelity and immorality, but the careers of conservatives will be forever destroyed.

VIII. Thou shalt not steal, until you've been elected to public office. Only then is it acceptable to take money from hard-working, successful citizens and give it to those who do not work, illegal immigrants, or those who do not have the motivation to better their own lives.

IX. Thou shalt not discriminate against thy neighbor unless they are conservative, Caucasian, or Christian.

    X. Thou shalt not covet because it is simply unnecessary. I will place such a heavy tax burden on those that have achieved the American Dream that, by the end of my term as President, nobody will have any wealth or material goods left for you to covet.

  5. impeachtheman says:

If I recall there was a man who had come up with a way to count votes and was working on setting everything up but then got murder.
And word was that some people didn't like what he was doing so they took him out.
I'm sure if you'll Goggle it you'll find the information I'm speaking of.

  7. The Vatican is The Biggest Thief The World Has Ever Known.

    Wealth from III-Gotten Gain
The incredible wealth of this woman caught John's attention next. She was dressed "in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication" (Revelation 17:4). The colors of purple and scarlet once again identify the woman with both pagan and Christian Rome. These were the colors of the Roman caesars with which the soldiers mockingly robed Christ as "King" (see Matthew 27:28 and John 19:2,5), which the Vatican took to itself. The woman's colors are literally still the colors of the Catholic clergy! The same Catholic Encyclopedia quoted above states:

    Capps Magna
A cloak with a long train and a hooded shoulder cape … [it] was purple wool for bishops; for cardinals, it was scarlet watered silk (for Advent, Lent, Good Friday, and the conclave, purple wool); and rose watered silk for Gaudete and Lactate Sundays; and for the pope, it was red velvet for Christmas Matins, red serge at other times.
    Cassock (also Soutane)
The close-fitting, ankle-length robe worn by the Catholic clergy as their official garb…. The color for bishops and other prelates is purple, for cardinals scarlet …. 8

The "golden cup [chalice] in her hand" again identifies the woman with the Roman Catholic Church. Broderick's edition of The Catholic Encyclopedia declares of the chalice: "[It is] the most important of the sacred vessels…. [It] may be of gold or silver, and if the latter, then the inside must be surfaced with gold."9 The Roman Catholic Church possesses many thousands of solid gold chalices kept in its churches around the world. Even the bloodstained cross of Christ has been turned to gold and studded with gems in reflection of Rome's great wealth. The Catholic Encyclopedia says: "The pectoral cross [suspended by a chain around the neck and worn over the breast by abbots, bishops, archbishops, cardinals, and the pope] should be made of gold and … decorated with gems …10
Rome has practiced evil to gather her wealth, for the "golden cup" is filled with "abominations and filthiness." Much of the wealth of the Roman Catholic Church was acquired through the confiscation of the property of the pitiful victims of the Inquisitions. Even the dead were exhumed to face trial and property was taken from their heirs by the Church. One historian writes:

The punishments of the lnquisition did not cease when the victim was burned to ashes, or immured for life in the Inquisition dungeons. His relatives were reduced to beggary by the law that all his possessions were forfeited. The system offered unlimited opportunities for loot….
This source of gain largely accounts for the revolting practice of what has been called "corpse-trials."… That the practice of confiscating the property of condemned heretics was productive of many acts of extortion, rapacity and corruption will be doubted by no one who has any knowledge either of human nature or of the historical documents…. no man was safe whose wealth might arouse cupidity, or whose independence might provoke revenge. 11
Most of Rome's wealth has been acquired through the sale of salvation. Untold billions of dollars have been paid to her by those who thought they were purchasing heaven on the installment plan for themselves or loved ones. The practice continues to this day — blatantly where Catholicism is in control, less obviously here in the United States. No greater deception or abomination could be perpetrated. When Cardinal Cajetan, sixteenth-century Dominican scholar, complained about the sale of dispensations and indulgences, the Church hierarchy was indignant and accused him of wanting "to turn Rome into an uninhabited desert, to reduce the Papacy to impotence, to deprive the pope… of the pecuniary resources indispensable for the discharge of his office." 12
In addition to such perversions of the gospel which have led hundreds of millions astray, there are the further abominations of corrupt banking practices, laundering of drug money, trading in counterfeit securities, and dealings with the Mafia (fully documented in police and court records), which the Vatican and her representatives around the world have long employed. Nino Lo Bello, former Business Week correspondent in Rome and Rome bureau chief for New York Journal of Commerce, writes that the Vatican is so closely allied with the Mafia in Italy that "many people … believe that Sicily … is nothing more than a Vatican holding." 13

  8. Are you a Democrat, a Republican, or a Southerner?
Here is a little test that will help you decide.

You're walking down a deserted street with your wife
and two small children. Suddenly, an Islamic
Terrorist with a huge knife comes around the corner,
locks eyes with you, screams obscenities, praises
Allah, raises the knife, and charges at you…

You are carrying a Kimber 1911 cal. 45 ACP, and you are an expert shot.
You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family..
    What do you do?

    Democrat's Answer:
    • Well, that's not enough information to answer the question!
    • Does the man look poor or oppressed?
    • Have I ever done anything to him that would inspire him to attack?
    • Could we run away?
    • What does my wife think?
    • What about the kids?
    • Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the knife out of his hand?
    • What does the law say about this situation?
    • Does the pistol have appropriate safety built into it?
    • Why am I carrying a loaded gun anyway, and what kind of message does this send to society and to my children?
    • Is it possible he'd be happy with just killing me?
    • Does he definitely want to kill me, or would he be content just to wound me?
    • If I were to grab his knees and hold on, could my family get away while he was stabbing me?
    • Should I call 9-1-1?
    • Why is this street so deserted?
    • We need to raise taxes, have “Paint & Weed Day”;
    • Can we make this a happier, healthier street that would discourage such behavior.
    • I need to debate this with some friends for a few days and try to come to a consensus.
    • This is all so confusing!

I love you Raymond! You can always make me smile. A little light in this dim world is such a blessing.
I had to comment on this one. I personally like the southern mentality, however, being a conservative I would save the bullets for possible future offenders.

  9. Shucksters says:

How about this for election reform? Arrest george soros and shut down all his America destroying activities. Freeze the commie's assets and send him to Gitmo for life. Once the puppet master is out of the loop, obama will just move in circles.

Who's got the stuff to do that?

  10. babygraycat says:

My husband and I work at the polls every election, in NY, on LI. We must take a class before hand and I always ask why voters are not reqiured to show ID? Iam told to bring it up with my Sen. Now you know how far that is going to go….just like stopping Illegal Immigration, NO WHERE!!!! I believe that AZ tried this and the Sipreme Court threw it out. The League of Women Voters is against it.

New voters come to our table to sign in and have some sort of ID ready. When I say that we don't need it they ask, "Why?" I respond that I ask the same thing and that they should call their Sen. and complain. Most people are too busy with their own lives to bother. I always say, "If you have a complaint and don't do anything about it, you have no right to complain!!!!"

In Florida elections, I show my ID. It's the law.
      Praise God!

      • Hawaii is too stupid to have a smart law like Florida.
Just for you smarter people this is a decent answer to paper trail voting. If you can get your State to install it.
        Hawaii won’t do it. http://www.votetrustusa.org/index.php?option=com_

        * ELECTRONIC/PAPER-BALLOT HYBRID PROVIDES UNIQUE APPROACH TO MEET NEW FEDERAL REQUIREMENTS CHICAGO,
Dec. 16 2004/PRNewswire/ — The federal Election Assistance Commission (EAC) and National Association of State Election Directors (NASED) have approved a new, innovative voting machine that is the first electronic system to meet new federal standards by combining the advantages, flexibility and simplicity of computer-based touch screen voting with the assurances provided by a tangible paper ballot. By using the best of both approaches, the Populex system is designed to restore voter confidence that their votes will be counted accurately.

  11. Shucksters, I agree 100% with you. Soros is one of the GREATEST THREATS to AMERICA and its CITIZENS. His name comes up over and over again and his hands are on everything that is destroying us. Why he has not been arrested for treason or even lesser crimes, is beyond me. He funds so many organizations with such Patriotic names that all sound so good UNTIL YOU FIND OUT WHAT THEY ARE REALLY DOING.

    • How about all those misleading names our Socialist Congress gives to Bills? They know what they are doing, their keeping us in the dark. If they don’t back the Tea Party and the Constitution vote them out. 70% of our Congressman right now are Socialists who today call themselves Progressive. Scumbag is another good name for them..

  12. We in America are witnessing the first communist revolution in history to be accomplished by voting it into existence. It’s as if the United States battled for decades to win the Cold War, at a cost of billions of dollars expended and tens of thousands of lives lost, and then, at the moment of victory, capitulated.
