Donald Trump is a shameless self-promoter. His prowess as a developer and businessman has been greatly exaggerated. He has crawled around in the muck and mire of what now passes for popular culture, and deserves at least some of the blame for tawdry’s victory over grace in that sphere. He is an outsized egotist (about on a par with Obama) whose passion for self-congratulation is the only reliable thing we know about him. And that his future candidacy for president may soon be taken seriously owes to no one so much as it does Barack Obama, whose own candidacy seriously eroded the standards for presidential qualification.
But Trump has achieved something important. His decision to focus like a laser on Obama’s failure to produce a birth certificate has highlighted the absolute corruption of the American media on the subject of Obama, and the dangers of power granted in the absence of an unaligned press.
Given that Obama’s primary claim to the presidency has been his compelling life story — his biracialism, his international upbringing, especially the time he spent in Muslim lands — the media has shown shockingly little interest in several pieces of information about Obama’s life which might legitimately concern voters. Nowhere in his biographies, for example, does Obama mention his 1981 trip to Pakistan, where he stayed with influential political leaders from that country at a time when a State Department advisory warned U.S. citizens against travel to Pakistan. There has also been a strange disinterest in Obama’s 2006 trip to Kenya where, as a sitting U.S. senator, Obama criticized the incumbent government (a U.S. ally) and barnstormed with a Marxist candidate he supported. So too, there has been nary a peep among media elites over Obama’s funding of the radical “education” work of bomb thrower Bill Ayers, or his own work on behalf of the activist group ACORN, the now defunct largest purveyor of voter registration fraud in American history (and, apparently, an enabler of under aged prostitution.).
One of the functions of the media is to protect the public from fraudulent statements made by public figures. The unwillingness of the media to fulfill this role in the case of Obama has led to significant, and probably needless, public tension. Obama’s resistance to releasing the long version of his birth certificate, has served not only to raise legitimate speculation about the circumstances surrounding his birth, but to give fodder to anti-Obama extremists.
Gail Collins, the New York Times’s most reliably uninteresting liberal attack dog, questioned Trump’s sanity just for raising the birth certificate issue. But would she say the same about famed black Vanderbilt University Law Professor and Obama supporter Carol Swain? Swain has said “I think that by not releasing it [the full birth certificate], it makes people much more passionately opposed to the president. Moreover, for a president who was elected on the basis of his personal background, it is troubling that Obama himself would want to withhold such basic information.”

Perhaps Trump will force the issue and compel Obama to cough up legitimate proof that he is natural-born as the Constitution requires. I suspect, due to Obama's reticence to allow any of his background to be known, that he is a usurper of the office. What was good enough for Gerald Ford and John McCain should be good enough for Obama. I applaud Trump for having the fortitude to forge ahead with his challenge.

The article you keep posting is FALSE. Just because you and this article say he's natural born doesn't make it so. According to the US Gov website http://travel.state.gov/law/citizenship/citizensh… it says (and I'm quoting it) :
"Birth Abroad to One Citizen and One Alien Parent in Wedlock
A child born abroad to one U.S. citizen parent and one alien parent acquires U.S. citizenship at birth under Section 301(g) of the INA provided the U.S. citizen parent was physically present in the United States or one of its outlying possessions for the time period required by the law applicable at the time of the child's birth. (For birth on or after November 14, 1986, a period of five years physical presence, two after the age of fourteen, is required. For birth between December 24, 1952 and November 13, 1986, a period of ten years, five after the age of fourteen, is required for physical presence in the United States or one of its outlying possessions to transmit U.S. citizenship to the child.) The U.S. citizen parent must be genetically related to the child to transmit U.S. citizenship."
Obama's mother was only 18 when he was born and was therefore NOT old enough, according to US gov rules, to confer citizenship to her son, much less qualify him to be a natural born citizen.

Certainly Mr. Trump has a big ego. So what! Only one of his parents was born in the United States, and according to what I have learned, this makes him ineligible to be President. However he is correct on Obama, and I stand by his right to question this fact. Yes, he's an egotist, yes he's a media hog,. and he may have shifted his views on several issues but let's be pragmatic he is a multi billionaire. The Obama forces with Soros behind him will be spending we hear up to a billion to get Obama re elected. Trump said in an interview that he is willing to spend up to 60 million on his campaign. I believe he will go higher! What other Republican can match those figures? I've listened to Trump. I do feel that he is a true American and will stand for our conservative principles. So whom would you rather have as president, Obama or Trump?? It just might be one or the other. Realistically money will buy this election. Obama is taking us down a very slippery slope towards destruction of our country. I predict that our next president will be Trump or Obama. The choice to me is simple.

The “Birth Certificate” doesn’t matter and here’s why. If we accept the notion that Obama’s Mother was an American Citizen, then that would make Obama a “Native Born Citizen” with a Duel citizenship as a British Subject.
Here’s the best part, Senator Obama co-chaired Senate Resolution 511 in order to prove that Senator McCain fulfilled the requirements of a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN. To be eligible to run for the office of President, the candidate MUST be born on American soil and Both Parents MUST be American Citizens. President Obama is short by one American parent. And it gets better!
The Ninth District Court in California is trying to figure out if they can actually hear the case against President Obama brought out in 2008. The issue is what they call “Standing”. In essence, if ONE current candidate were to challenge Obama on the question of fulfilling the Natural Born Requirement, this could go to court quickly. According to the Ninth District Court, a current Candidate running against Obama WOULD HAVE STANDING! This would eventually bring about the Impeachment of Obama. Once impeached, every thing that Obama signed would be Null and Void and Vice President Biden would have to start over.
I'm hoping that Donald would be the one to challenge Obama on the "Natural Born" clause. We wouldn't have to wait until 2012 to send him packing
