The mainstream media are “protecting” Barack Obama’s “unconstitutional” tenure in the White House, refusing to investigate allegations that he fails to meet the Constitution’s requirement that a president be a “natural born citizen,” according to flamboyant billionaire Donald Trump.
In a conference call today with reporters, WND asked Trump why, if he believes defeating Obama is so significant in 2012, doesn’t he use his influence to mount a formal investigation into Obama’s eligibility.
There have been allegations since long before Obama’s election in 2008 that he is not a “natural-born citizen,” a requirement imposed on no other official.
Obama’s critics believe that at the time the Constitution was written, the Founders understood “natural-born citizen” to mean the offspring of two citizens.
Obama has claimed he was born in Hawaii, but birth documentation he’s released has been judged by a number of document, imaging and graphics experts to be fake.

But James, Most people want to know for sure if Obama's eligible to be in the White House. Nothing wrong with that. If he was born in Hawaii then he should be more that willing to have them release the Microfish of the original birth certificate, after all, he said when running for office that his administraton would be transparent unlike previous administrations, but he hasn't kept his word. Larry. Get your copy of the Constitution and read Article II, section 1, paragraph 5 (I think) and it describes the constitutional requirements. Natural born citizen is "born on US soil of parents who are citizens. Most everyone in the US is one. And there is precedent in Supreme court rulings describing NBC that way. Obama is not NBC because his father is Kenyan, or anything but US citizen. Key here is "parents", meaning BOTH, even though his mother was US.

If indeed we are to claim to live by the rule of law, then Obama's authority to sit in the oval office becomes the most important question in the history of this nation. Our representatives in both houses of Congress act as though we no longer live by the rule of law, but rather by the rules established by a monarchy for which they constitute something akin to a house of Lords, owing fealty to the king. This is not the country into which I was born. Then, except in error, the situation we are faced with could not have occurred. Obama's protected status is no accident, and we need to know why it has happened, and punishments need to be meted out.

Even if Obama was born in Hawaii, the individual alleged to be his father wasn't a citizen of the USA so what is it, is Obama not eligible because his father was a foreigner or is it that this alleged parent from far away Africa another of his fanciful stories as it adds an exotic touch. The sin is not so much his as it is the Congress and the courts that failed to properly vet him, he took advantage because they allowed it and are at fault. We all need to call our Congress and Senate people and demand that they investigate Obama's eligibility every one knows or suspects that he was not born in Hawaii like they claim. You sound like someone who would like to know there is someone with the knowledge of what to do that is also on the case. Throwing a seated President out of office is not something to be taken lightly, nor easily. Impeachment is less than the ideal way to do it, ergo the delay in getting it done. Read this blog and go back a month for more on the Obama henchmen's efforts to 'cover up' as many traces of his illegibility as possible, by changing records. BO has already committed perjury in applying for admission to the NH primary ballot. He swore he is eligible according to Constitutional requirements, and signed the application. His app. was challenged but on the wrong grounds (birth certificate and fake social security number), which are not requirements for POTUS or the NH ballot. The Secy of State for NH took Obama at his word, or signature, that he was as he said he was.

A California lawyer, Orly Taitz, challenged his appearance on the New Hampshire ballot on that ground, plus his forged birth certificate. She lost, because neither of those things , or being honest and moral, are requirements by the State. Being eligible, according to the US Constitution (as described on the application) is the only requirement, and his signature that he met those requirements was all that the Secy of State needed to accept his application. So… he will be on the ballot, unless someone challenges his not being a natural born citizen, as mentioned on the ballot. This would get national attention, but not him removed from office.

I have a solution for invalidating Obama, by emulating the free faxing and communication power of NumbersUSA.com, who have been very successful for years by forcing Congress to do the right thing by inundating them with faxes, phones calls and e-mails (all free- which is the key !!!). When Bush was about to pass a bad immigration bill in '08, with only 350.000 members then, NumbersUSA shut down the fax and phone lines of Congress for 3 days and defeated the bill.'
I am 75 years old and living on a fixed income, but out of 300 million people in this country, there has to be some conservative out there who agrees with my plan for invalidating Obama and has the money to fund my starting web site like NumbersUSA.com. I would pay them back through contirbutions, once it gets going. I have given presentations on "natural born" to Tea Party groups, as well as The Madison Forum, in and around Atlanta.

I truly do not understand. I have studied this issue for over three years and know that I could invalidate Obama with a web site emulating NumbersUSA.com and forcing Rep. Issa to investigate Obama and "natural born" before the next election. Rep. Issa promised to investigate eligibility last year when campaigning, but has not done so (I think Boehner and the establishment are stopping him – giving him the benefit of the doubt). Once Issa investigates, and the issue becomes a nationally known and educated issue, then a charge of "quo Warranto" could be brought against Obama (in the US District Court for D.C., the only place possible to bring the case) and have him invalidated!!!

Publius, I am writing to reply to your comments. I wholeheartedly agree with your. Numbers USA is phenomenal and has long passed the million member mark. The organization has done more for immigration reform than any other organization. I wish there could be a similar organization to send faxes to representatives on the elgibility issue. The representatives are more likely to react when they know they are challenged. I hope someone with the ability to organize will create an organization as you have suggested. It could have the capacity "of small ripples to create a mighty wave" to expose the truth. ….Another cause, for the suggested organization, would be to help bring about additional laws which require candidates to give verifiable proof of elgibility. I hope and pray we will have representation on this.
If Obama has nothing to hide, he has nothing to fear. If Obama would just produce or allow the State of Hawaii to produce his original long form Birth Certificate (if it exists) this serious problem would all go away (it will never go away until he steps up to the plate).

I have contacted and been contacted by Orly on a number of occasions via telephone and email over the past three or so years – especially during the time Sheriff Arpaio was ignoring my requests to schedule a meeting between Orly Taitz and Sheriff Aroaio a couple months ago. She finally met face-to-face with Arpaio last month and I applaud her tenacity in her pursuit to personally present the CT social security card papers along with other eligibility data and dedication to upholding the Constitution and forcing the USSC to do what they are obligated to do. She has bird-dogged this case relentlessly for over 4-5 years and counting.
The USSC doesn't want to investigate because they probably suspect Dr. Taitz's evidence including the documents she represented to Sheriff Arpaio last month on Obama's bogus CT social security number along with all the other evidence uncovered by Arpaio's "Cold Case Posse" and the others that could very well be opening a HUGE (politically incorrect) CAN OF WORMS that the USSC would rather not open. A discovery of this magnitude and importance could have a wide variety of serious social, political and racial responses that could get ugly in America. In spite of the implied threat including racial intimidation, the eligibility issue should be pursued as soon as possible – wherever it takes us and no matter the outcome.

The NH ballot application only requires the applicant to swear his eligibility, according to Art II, sec 1 of the US Constitution, which are then listed as being NBC, residence, and age requirements. Since it does not require applicant to be honest, or an otherwise nice guy, he got by because the state doesn't require any more and Secretary of State accepted his signature as verification of his veracity ! After all, it was given under the threat of perjury for false info ! Oh, I forgot…he also gave them his check for $1,000, and they didn't wait till it cleared.

Since then, people not aware of this have been accepting the decisions, but they had been changed to understand it's just one parent citizen, or some other such nonsense.. The two cases are Minor v Happersett (1875) and Ex Parte Lockwood (where it was plainly used as precedent in deciding the Lockwood case)
If ex Parte Lockwood is googled, and you go to the listing by Cornell Law, you can see an example of 'scrubbing' of that case. Bottom of the 1st paragraph, last word of last line is Minor…. That is all of the mention of the case. The listing by 'Findlaw' has the correct listing of Minor v Happersett.
