This person reminds me of that other Democrat who was thrilled at all the FREE Obama phiones she had, bragging that she had 28 of them! Where do these people come from? The best solution I have seen to FIX the Detroit problem is to shut it down and destroy it. It’s a cesspool and nothing is going to FIX it! These freeloaders will just have to go somewhere else, might even have to take a JOB! America can no longer afford their mooching, leaching ways.

Tell those in Detroit to honor the bills they made for themselves. These elected officials are the ones who ran up the debt, it is THEIR job to see the bills get paid, not the rest of the Country! It is called ‘responsibility’. The citizens of the rest of the states owe NOTHING to MI. It isn’t ‘government money’. It is the taxpayers money that is taken FROM them. Pay your BILLS.
Fed. Government, pay the bills too. STOP spending!!

All these steaming piles of debt must be stopped. There is NO way to gain on the debt without Stopping the Spending! duh! Responsibility 101. A class every politician should be FORCED to take as well as one on the Constitution since they all take an oath to uphold and PROTECT it!

That’s what you get when you allow idiots like this dumb councilwoman into positions of authority or power, she is a complete idiot as are unfortunately most Democrat Senator’s and Congressmen and women, they are all clueless and clearly out of their minds.
Detroit can rot in hell. They voted in the Liar-in-Chief, now they whine all they want, but he’s not listenning anymore. Their usefullness is over. We tried to tell them what he was, but they were more interested in ther handouts and bailouts. They didn’t listen. Obama doesn’t have to worry about geting elected again. I have no sympathy for them. NY & NJ Sandy victims are also finding out the hard way how hollow all his promises were. They’re just getting what’s due them for voting this fraud back in. They sold their souls to the devil.

Living successfully in an industrial city of any of the Modern Western democracies requires a certain base level of cultural relativity, which, unfortunately, has been sorely lacking in Detroit City since the post war migration from the South. One of the problems with Detroit that is not going away is that the infrastructure is kind of expensive to maintain — schools, snow removal, utilities, etc. Even when Detroit was in full swing, it took 110% effort on the parts of the citizens working to keep it going. It was never a good place to coast along. The people who live there should probably be thinking about returning to North Alabama, where the living is a little easier, the demands not so severe.
She thinks she’s supposed to be rewarded for voting???? Especially for the incumbent….not likely there will be any bailout coming….he doesn’t need any support now and doesn’t care about anyone except himself. They made their own mess…..let Detroit clean it up themselves….California, too!!!! Freeloaders will never learn!!!

The councilwoman should get in line, behind the Sandy victims who have lost everything they own and some of their family members. That said, Obama promised them Heaven, and now he owes them. Of course many of us saw this happening and didn’t buy it. All his free phone pals did, however. IMHO, the poor, the hungry, the children, and the helpless deserve help before the city of Detroit. And since we are broke, we can’t serve the poor, the hungry, or the children, so, Detroit, you’re on your own. And what if O did bil out Detroit? Will he bail out CA, and all its failing cities? Other failing cities? With what? The sweat of our brows?
What we are witnessing is the effect of decades of affirmative action. We know have a dumbed down America on all levels.
