The only reason they want to take guns away from vets is because they have the knowledge of how to fight and use weapons. They are still trying to take guns away from civilians, if they can do both of these they have us at their mercy with no way to defend ourselves
I agree with you Barb, they want to leave us defenseless & at the same time they will turn their backs on us ,all the while telling us that we are on our own.
Soon any vet with more then one tour will be classified to dangerous to have access to any gun. when that happens they will be comong for all the vets guns because some of these guys have had 3 or 4 tours or more. Obviously they are to dangerous to have a gun in civilian life. When that happens America will be Amerika.
The ONLY difference with this and current law is the placement on the list. When you go to buy a weapon, there’s a question about mental health. NOW, if you’re put on the list by VA, you’re not buying, but if not on the list, you can always lie and buy. Now, you’re asking if I’m in favor of the bill or not. I’m not. I don’t want ANY obstructions to individuals buying guns except felons and those that have been HOSPITALIZED for mental illness. AND, after 5-years of no hospitalizations, come off the list.
Actually this is simply incremental gun control. It should be FELONS who are convicted of heinous crimes, not some guy who had a few joints to many. Let’s all do what I’ve done to assure that they have a weapon – I’ve picked up a couple of ‘extras’ so that when push-comes-to-shove, they WILL not be defenseless. Obama has already made it clear that he considers military veterans a “terrorist threat”. Clearly, anyone capable of defending themselves and what they hold dear are a threat to him and his ilk. Who determines the mental health status of the vets? An Obamacare doc? Uh, no thanks. As a vet, I find it extremely disturbing that this would even be a consideration; given the socialism, leading to communism, tilt of the federal government, I am not surprised. Take away freedoms and give something that looks so pretty on the surface, which is rife with restrictions and loss of freedoms. Of course, the government does not want vets, in any capacity, to have guns. We know how to use them. An armed citizenry keeps the federal government in check – we cannot lose this right.

It has been several years since that has happened and the entire federal government has openly violated the Constitution without challenge since 2007 when it allowed the running and election of an unconstitutional fraud who openly disdained the Constitution and made it very clear from the very beginning that he and his party considered the Constitution a mere minor impediment to their reign which they have ruled in open defiance of the Constitution and the rule of law, being compounded daily! The last time the US Treasury operated in the black was when President Dwight David Eisenhour was President. Since then, Washington Politicians have proven, by demonstrated actions, that they are incompetent to manage the finances of the American US Treasury. I then just typed: http://secondamendmentwarriors.com into the address field and guess what! Yep it dropped the s and didn’t go to the correct site. I have tried also by doing the Google search and it sends you to a “2ndamendmentwarrior.com” site. I’m not sure what is going on today but yesterday I got right into your site with no problem.
Who are you to add an amendment to anything?
