And the senator’s “statistics” are pure bull that flies in the face of the reality which is just the opposite.
Women who fight back with a handgun are, per federal crime data, 4-5 times LESS likely to be murdered, raped, or seriously injured than those who are not equipped to fight back.
These people are absolutely shameless in their lies and distortions in their attempt to render us all defenseless.
What needs to be focused on is the mental health situation and the number of killers who fit in that category -not violating the 2nd Amendment of the constitution which has allowed many people to defend themselves successfully against being killed. Many of the recent mass shootings have been done by mental.ly ill people, most of whom have already been considered mentally ill and ignored. That is here the focus needs to be and is being ignored by the administration. I have heard nothing about any investigations into the mental health condition of these killers.

In our area so many robberies, rapes, etc are stopped because someone who has a weapon steps up and stops the robbers etc. You don’t hear about those unless they are on FB for they will not tell you about those. Their statistics are just what they want them to be… all lies… To carry a weapon is to save your life or others. I advocate people taking a class in gun safety if they do not know how to handle a gun. Most kids in our area grow up being taught to hunt and handle guns… Obama reqime is trying to scare kids of guns . When they come to school with a paper cut out gun of a pop tart in the shape of a gun they are punished. Their agenda is to develope a generation of kids that are terified of Guns…. Lets teach our kids to defend themselves from all evil including the Gov. or america will no longer exist because of Idiots like this woman, and Obama… He wants a weak america so he can rule.. Youre absolutely right. A friend of mine and I were attacked by a gang of 7 in Long Beach CA. They had baseball bats and we had nothing. We were surrounded and beaten almost to death. And we are big guys. Im 6’3 and 260, my friend, even bigger but there were too many of them. This young lady needed a way to defend herself and a slug in the belly will change the mind of any would be rapist.

Now there are two female senators in Colorado who probably would never get raped for the obvious reasons,having said that i suspect that one of them or maybe both would say something like” If your in fear of being raped maybe you should gain 300 pounds and look like you have been whipped with an ugly stick”, they would probably add this to their other suggestions,like blow a whistle,pee on somebody or whatever other stupid liberal ideas their throwing out.

Several years ago I concluded that I could never again vote for a Democrat, for any office. To do so gives power to people like Senator Hudak, who apparently is completely devoid of reason and reality contact. One has to wonder whether it is dope-smoking or some sort of earth-worship practices that makes such people lose their mental faculties. Or do they catch it from each other?
When you reject God and adopt your own set of beliefs you abrogate the capacity to reason responsibly. Liberals all seem to feel that they exist in their own little universe and anything that exists around them is there solely for their own use.
