House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) warned Republicans will investigate President Obama’s birthplace if they take over Congress.
Clyburn, the third-ranking Democrat in the House, said Republicans will grind the government to a halt by issuing subpoenas against the Obama administration over a number of issues if they take power. He predicted that “gridlock” in Congress would “define” Obama’s first term if Republicans win the House, but expressed confidence his party would prevail.
Clyburn noted that Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), the ranking Republican on the House Oversight panel, has said will will issue “subpoenas everywhere” if Republicans win the majority.
“The White House will be full-time responding to subpoenas about where the president may or may not have been born, whether his mother and father were ever married, and whether his wife’s family is from Georgetown or Sampit,” Clyburn said in an interview published Monday on TheGrio.com, an African-American news website. “That will define the next two years of the president’s administration.

Issuing a subpoena to President Obama to prove he was born in the United States should prove no problem. The President mentioned recently that he can't go around with his birth plastered to his head and he is right. All he has to do is to provide his long form (not proof of live birth). It will show the name of the hospital where he was born and speaking of hospital, so far, we have been told he was born at two different hospitals. The "REAL BC will clear that up along with the physician that delivered him. See how easy this is going to be. No BC plastered to the Presidents head. Just the real thing and everyone will know the truth.
It makes no real difference WHERE he was born, even if he was born in the US. Of course if he was NOT, that is a disqualifier, but even WERE HE born here, he is NOT eligible because of his NON AMERICAN FATHER! What the hell is WRONG with everyone in Congress? It is only obvious that Pelosi KNEW she was falsifying the certifications, since she signed two of them, one with and one without the "constitutional" requirement clause.
Issa or any other House member better follow through with subpoenas with all the issues at hand besides the eligibility one. The candidates that were offered administration positions to not run and the money sent to Kenya for their elections by Obama and more. If it is true Issa said he will not pursue the eligibility issue then he needs to step down not or else uphold the Constitution. In the old days corrupt politicians were tared and feathered and sent out of town on a rail. It sure is tempting to get start collecting some chicken feathers.

It is the duty of every member of Congress to protect the Constitution and assure its mandates are met. I believe, as the Canadian press does, that the Democrats care more for their party than they do for their country and have helped an imposter to become President, only because he belongs to their party. This is against our laws and Obama with those involved should face prison time. I am voting for the Republicans mainly to find the truth about this situation, and if the Republicans fail to seek the truth, then the next time we will vote for those who will. If Obama really has the long form birth certificate, as he claims, then it will take a matter of hours to produce and certify it to prove his eligibility, something he should have done when the questions first came up. Why is this black Congressman so fearful of this black President having to show his true long form birth certificate unless he hasn't one and will disgrace the Democrats who ridiculed those who wanted to know the truth. All who have attempted to hide the truth, if Obama is not eligible to be President, should be prosecuted also.

I have 2 grandsons in the military. The one when he enlisted, they gave him a test, and they said from that test, that he could learn the chinese language. The FBI, came to his home and done a thorough back ground check on him. Our supposedly Commander in Chief, doesn't have to prove he is even an American Citizen. Something is very wrong here. I think our military deserves to know if he is an American Citizen or not. Is that too much to ask? I once was young, and now I am old, and I have never seen our government more corrupt than it is now. My brother worked on Appolo 13, after he retired, he talked about how corrupt our government was back then, he has passed on, I wonder what he would think about it now. God have mercy on us.

Agree – AND anything he has put into place should be nullified. WHY was he allowed to run without proving his eligibility? I have to prove to my employer, my right to work in the US.
