You can look around and ask questions in reference to, where will they get the money to build te mosque, and How did a man that was working in a restraunt as a waiter a few months ago, get the money to buy the building where they want to build the mosque? And, Was the money for that bldg. given to him from Hamas? Was he the front man to get this Mosque rolling? Why is so important to have to build a mosque in that bldg, knowing that it would create a Great Divide? Ms. Couric, instead of questioning those who are against the mosque being built there, question those who want to build the mosque built there. You seem to have forgotten that America lost 3000 productive citizens that day, and their loved ones should have the right to push that mosques out of he area that was attacked by the fanatics.

You exceed the definition of stupidity!
A minimum of 2 miles would be appropriate in my opinion for the Mosque. The 2 blocks you speak of is only the equivilent of 500 feet which equals 2 & 2/3 football fields. True it is around a corner and currently not visible to ground zero but it will be visible to ground zero once the Mosque is built. As for the city planning commission approving the site for construction why would they not!
