H.R 226, introduced by Representative Rosa DeLauro was brought to the House last Monday and counts with the support of one of her colleagues. This is the first attempt by a State government to follow up on the steps of the Federal Government to try to limit the possession of lawfully acquired firearms.
The bill clearly intends to bribe the public into complying with government policy recently presented by Barack Obama, who signed 23 Executive Orders that directly attack the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution contained in the Bill of Rights.
When the Government fears the people, there is peace. But when the people fear the Government, well, the United States happens. The people are no match for domestic or foreign threats once they have been disarmed and the people of the United States are rapidly walking towards that scenario.

We are able to be armed if we do it legally. The wrong people can get arms any time they want them – so taking legal arms would serve no purpose at all. There are more than 1000 laws on the books already IF the gun sellers would enforce them. I’m afraid we are traveling down a very harmful road and we must stand together to keep our country free. You, and every other Gun Advocate in this Country needs to take into Consideration that the Advocation of ANY Gun Restrictions is Against the Constitutional Foundation!! But George Bush signed an Assault Weapons Ban into Law, and that Signing of said Law Gave them Precedent!! And now, Obama will exercise that Precedent to sign more into Law!!! It is the Republican Party that has Made all this Possible!! With not only Signing and Voting in the First Gun Legislation, but others in the House and Sente Voting it into Law, which were also Republicans in that Mix as well!! The Constitution and Bill of Rights are Very Clear!! NO Restrictions on Guns, or Weapons, of Any Kind should be Banned or Restricted!! You are therefore obligated by the Constitution and your solemn oath of office to oppose any and all infringements on Americans’ right to keep and bear arms and I expect you to abide by that obligation in every way.
