Why is the man a member of Congress? He is useless. voters should recall him. it is amazing the people that have been elected to represent the people. some involved in murder. that is bammy and holdup. holdup is involved in two murders or killings or whatever you wish to call them. why are they still in the government? Makes no sense what so ever.

The problem is not with the Congressman. He’s expressing reality (however distasteful I, or you, find it).
John Adams and Benjamin Franklin (among others of the Founders) told us repeatedly that the Constitution is only good enough to govern a religious and moral people. It is not what an irreligious and immoral people need. Either people will govern themselves or they must be governed by a strong and repressive state.
I defy anyone to make the claim that, in general, the people of the united States of America qualify as a religious and moral people. Even here (and on a host of other patriotic boards I frequent), the language the so-called patriots use refutes the claim. there are words here my mother never heard used in the manner employed here.
And we are, I maintain, the “best” ten percent of USmericans.
Unwed mothers account for nearly half of the children born in this country. Among some populations, the ratio approaches ¾.
We had a killing here, in Aurora, Colorado, last week. You may have heard of it. While a distressingly large number of people were killed and wounded, Holmes’ total pales in comparison to the daily slaughter in abortion mills, by drug users and pushers, and drunks and other addicts.
We are not a moral people. We are not a religious people.The ancient prophet told us that, unless we, USmericans, “serve the God of the land, who is Jesus Christ”, we will be “swept off”. I see his prophecy being fulfilled. And, horror of horrors, it is NOT a foreign power doing the sweeping — we, ourselves, are handling the broom.
If you want to save the Constitution, as I do, then the answer is not to shoot the messenger (however ill-phrased and evilly motivated), the answer is to “serve the God of the land”. We do this an a hundred ways: keeping our speech clean and respectful of Him Who placed us here; teaching our children and grandchildren to keep themselves chaste and virtuous; to do the same ourselves, within marriage; to act when others act out; to be examples we’d want those children to emulate, and insist that their teachers (ugh! WHY would ANYONE send his children to a government-run, tax-funded, welfare school? —UGH!) do the same. This list goes on a very long time, and includes love of neighbor as well as of God.
Those who want to preserve the Constitution must require that public servants meet the highest of standards in personal conduct: it DOES matter how the president lives his “personal” life because that is the indicator of who he is. If he cannot honor his marriage vows, we have no reason to expect that he will honor his oath of office.
I do not endorse the “we’re not able to live the principles of the Constitution” position. I am saying that those who do espouse it are right to the extent that the Constitution and its protection of life, liberty, and property (as well as the pursuit of happiness) are our responsibility, and we are shirking that duty.
Point not thy finger at he who tells the truth — point at thyself and discover why the truth is as it is.
Its because of scumbag congressmen like you that We The People will remember when we strech your neck at a good old necktie party, you tratior. You took an oath to uphold the constitution, you and the rest of your congressmen and senators are all tratiors. You should be impeached, you stinking coward, grow a pair and fight for the people that elected you. Your days are numbered.
Hell yes. I love those women. That guy needed to be taken out back and, well you fill it in. He is the poster boy for why America is failing. Sad thing is I think most of our career elected feel the same way he does. Who else wanted to jump threw their computer screen and slap the stupid out of that guy.
tt82: Oh yes! I applaud your comment. I don’t know who this Congressman is nor what State he’s from but he needs to resign! IF defending the Constitution of our great nation is to hard, then this guy is a coward and needs to go for he’s only reacting the demise of our nation. Apathy is NOT what we need now and sadly, it can become contagious as more people lose hope in their representatives.
I applaud these two women as I watched this video and saw no response by any of the men other than one saying that the use of the word, “slave” was a bit strong. Well what do you suppose our lives will be if Obama is re-elected? If one can’t see the writing on the wall by now, then you’re so blind you wouldn’t be able to find your backside with both hands. People, we can’t lose hope, we MUST fight for what is right, which is FREEDOM from tyranny. Have we forgotten our history? If so, then we will be doomed to repeat it but, it may not turn out the way we would want. Time is running out.

Congressman P*$$*…Did you take a freakin oath of office? Did you understand the words that you had to say? If not, you should be fired for incompetance…if you did understand the words, you should be tried, convicted, and hanged for treason….This is our problem Conservative Nation…We refuse to elect someone with both Conservative principles and a set of bells….This clown is the TYPICAL DC politician and that sucks for all of us
If congress believes 50% of the people don’t believe in the constitution they are wrong. I think 90% of the congress don’t belive in it or give a dame about Americans that do. Have they ever taken a vote on it from the people,Hell No. I say we take up Arms and kick these worthless SOB’s out of office. They are the problem with this country.

He’s right. the people of the united States of America don’t know or care about the Constitution. They want what the government promises them. If that means trashing the Document, then, they say, “Trash it!. Just give me mine!”

Who here is going to take antiSocial inSecurity checks? Who has used federal education grants, local government-run, tax-funded, welfare schools? If you’re part of the problem, you have no business telling us this Congressman is evil: he only say that you, personally, and we, as a country, don’t care about constitutional principles.
That there are some of us who do care enough about the Constitution to forgo the benefits of the socialist (and thus anti-constitutional) country we have today does not mean that most people do. Most of us want the pelf government promises from the pocket of our fellow USmericans. But, for example, we wrap ourselves in the “I’ve paid FICA tax for years, I deserve the antiSocial inSecurity check” cloak to hide the fact that FICA is a TAX, taken at the point of the state’s myriad of guns, first from us to give to someone else, then from someone else to give to us. It is as if you went to the state fair, got your pocket picked and, having seen the thief, you search him out the next day and demand he give you back the $150 he stole. He says, “Okeh,” goes into the fairgrounds, and returns with that amount.
How did he get it? He stole it from someone else. Is it just to take that money? I believe it is not. How you decide it up to you.
If I were in that so-called congressman’s district, I would be demanding his resignation & replacment. He clearly ran for office under false pretences, and just as clearly refuses to uphold the oath he took to protect & defend the Constitution. What the hell does he think he’s even there for? He has no business in DC. What a useless piece of trash! His Arizona constituants should be outraged! He is a quick sample of why we need term limits; so public office cannot be ever be considered a career. Don’t re-elect anybody!
The constitution dosen’t say it only pertains to a morale society. If that be the point, let us start with Washington politicians who have no guts, and are undermining the constitution for their own reasons, whom are more immoral than anyone I know. Are they paying you to write against the constitution?
Of course not. He is part of the problem. He should be recalled or voted out for sure.
