With the debates around the corner and the presidential race in full swing, the Obama administration is quietly planning a second term, Politico reported, as it assesses staff and crafts legislative plans.
What might seem as overconfidence, however, has some precedent in previous administrations. Still, a host of liberal groups also are quietly planning renewed lobbying efforts to pressure what would be a “lame-duck” president to push through some big-ticket projects, Politico reports.
Among the moves anticipated:
- The liberal Alliance for Justice, Leadership Conference of Civil Rights and the People for the American Way, among others, are focused on trying to make the process move faster to place more liberal federal judges on the bench.
- Heads of the major environmental groups held a two-day retreat in July at the Wye Plantation in Talbot County, Md., to consider ways to push big cap-and-trade programs in a second term.
- Environmental, gay-rights and immigration groups mindful of Obama’s own tight window for action are also working on how to get their ideas wrapped in various bills.
- Obama told Time Magazine that because of his policy contrasts with Romney, he’d interpret a win as giving him a mandate to end the Bush-era tax cuts for people earning more than $250,000.

The way Obama tried to ruin the economy under his incumbency, truly I wonder whether that’s his covert intention for this country…
Confidence is good. Over confidence often leads to ruin and disaster. If Obama wins, he will have to battle the 2013 recession and massive inflation created by Helicopter Ben, who is planning QE 3 to finish 1 and 2.. Based on past performance, who will Obama blame?
Obama doesn’t have anyone to blame, like the man said; if Obama win’s he will have carte blanche to do whatever he wants, because the “American” people gave him permission. The real hope is a enough people in congress to override a veto and start impeachment proceedings. There is enough evidence to prove that Obama is guilty of “high crimes and misdemeanors.”

I’m sorry but I can’t refer to those people as Americans, not if they do it a second time. They’re more like a bunch of leftist slugs unworthy of being called Americans. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I’d like a dollar every time I’ve seen the word impeachment in print regarding Obama. The absolute last thing that will ever happen to Barack Hussein Obama is that he would be impeached. He probably has a much better chance of keeling over from a heart attack that he does of being impeached and that would be true if the entire Congress and the courts were 100% republican.
When are people going to accept that we (true patriotic God fearing Americans) are being held hostage to the threat of racial violence. That is the only reason Obama has been able to get away with what everyone knows or certainly suspects is fraudulence from beginning to end. As Eastwood so “eloquently” put it, “The guy is a hoax.”
If Obama loses I don’t expect there to be a peaceful transition of power. There’s no telling what he and his minions will do. I’m sure if the voting result is close, unlike Gore, Obama won’t care in the least what the supreme court says. He will thumb his nose and plead for “Americans” to come to his aid, thus his call to Marxist class warfare. Only then will it finally come clear even to the leftist slugs that this guy must go, by force if necessary.
Based on past performance, Obama will blame Bush.
With Soros’ company counting votes, Obama is sure ti win.
Obamas dream will be totally crushed after the Bob Woodward interview Monday night !

Perhaps the reason they are so confident is that they have rigged the polls to make it look like and close election, and plan to steal it through voter counting fraud ala Lenin, or by voter fraud at the polls…

Unfortunately living in Chicago as I do…….the buzz here is the FIX is in!!!! And there is no way that he won’t win. For people living everywhere else the corrupt pride in doing evil things to FIX their way in Chicago is blatant, disgusting, and it shows how much Democrats want to impose their will on everyone, even if it isn’t what the majority of people in this country want. The amount of raw unapologetic pride they take in doing things the dirty way is unbelievable. They think it is so cool……and they will laugh, brag and be in your face about it!! If the president – B)o( – doesn’t win, he’ll win, because there aren’t any politicians with balls enough to call him a fraud. Worse, the military is in B )o(‘s pocket and will support him rather than the Constitution of the USA when he calls for martial law (and he will, bet on it).
What the USA needs is a dual-layer government: One to fund the Federal government and withhold funding of any law that is under review of the Supreme Court or to withhold pay and allowances of any politician when proof arises of criminal activity or fraudulent documents by or for any elected official, such as B)o( .
The second level is the level that passes laws and negotiates with other countries, but cannot pass funding for any program until approval from two sources, those being 2/3 of the States and the funding layer of the government.
Those sitting in funding layer would have a maximum one year appointment, one person from each state, with a final payment at 0.000001% of the total DGP (which, at $15T, would give them $1.5M for the year), calculated at the END of their term, but without any retirement nor allowance for any benefit after leaving the post. The amount received monthly would be set as 10% per month of the amount paid as final payment to the previous holder of the seat. The point of that limitation would be to ensure that the DGP goes UP, not down, and to ensure smooth working, the holder of the seat would be at least guaranteed a fair payment for his one year job.
Also, to ensure fairness, once a person has had that seat, he could never avail of it ever again, which means there would be no ‘good ol’ boy’ networking going on. And, if any criminal conduct were to occur on the part of that person, he/she would be removed from the position, disallowed any further payment or bonus, and the State from which he was chosen would not be allowed to replace him/her until the next formal replacement period. This is to ensure that even the States have a requirement to show honesty in their representatives.
Its over for Americans!
