President Obama’s nominee for commerce secretary, John Bryson, co-founded an environmental activist group that is a member and funder of the controversial Apollo Alliance.
Apollo is run by a slew of socialists and radicals, including Jeff Jones, a founder of the Weather Underground domestic terrorist organization. Jones himself boasts of doing work for the environmental group founded by Bryson, the Natural Resources Defense Council.
Bryson, meanwhile, currently is co-chair of the Pacific Council on International Policy, a globalist organization whose members can be found throughout the Obama administration.
Two weeks ago, Obama nominated Bryson for commerce secretary pending confirmation by the Senate.
Bryson is the former chairman, chief executive officer, and president of Edison International, the parent company of Southern California Edison.

Truthfully, though, I do agree that more people should contact their members of Congress more often, regardless of their opinions on issues. More should also write letters to the editor of their local newspaper (which for most of us reaches far more people than this blog), engage in public protest, attend town hall meetings, etc.
I believe that so strongly that even though I disagree with you on virtually every issue, I just gave you "thumbs up" for the first time ever, Jim.

The strange, but continual, propensity Mr. Obama has to keep picking radicals to be a part of his Administration tells me only one thing – he agrees with them and their ideas and goals. Either that or he is being hood-winked. His long-time associations with the radicals that Obama surrounds himself with in his administration are WAY out of line with the tenets and history and presumed goals of this country. It's like he's pushing the country in the opposite direction to be a very different country, and doing it very quietly through lack of action or the wrong action, despite his public words.
So just why would this President pick such individuals, who at the very least, will do nothing to advance our deeply troubled economy, and instead might work to make it worse with radical policies? The truth is that most of us would never hire/appoint and work with people who have views diametrically opposed to our own or associate with radicals who speak out against the country and even plot against it (Bill Ayers) unless we felt the same way (unless of course we were a Federal agent trying to stop them – <g>).
Mr. Obama loves to portray himself as a concerned President who cares about you and me and our struggles to keep our heads above water in this terrible economy and take care of our families, live the American Dream, and be free individuals with equal rights. But in truth, move past his words and look at the appointments this President has made, his policy decisions (indeed sometimes the very lack of them) and the long associations he has had with terrorist types and radicals during his own career, as well as his bizarre attempts to keep his personal background hidden. It's then you have to wonder just who this man is who is sitting in our White House. Have we been sold a very carefully manipulated PR image that belies the real person? In life, we are all judged by the company we keep, the words we speak, and the actions we take or don't take. We should ask for nothing less when we judge our President.
