Colin Powell is a Rockefeller Republican and American hero whose race pride and moderate liberalism caused him to support Obama twice.
His recent appearance on the O’Reilly Factor was the latest installment of a two-term command performance for Obama.
As a Jim Crow vintage American Black, he sees Obama in the same Messianic haze as the rest of his, my, and the succeeding generation.
Older American Blacks erroneously feel Obama justifies every injustice they’ve experienced. This misapplication of the old school concept of race pride has been tragic to behold.
Obama’s big government policies resonate with the shrinking Rockefeller brand, which puts it at odds with today’s more fiscally conservative GOP (despite George W. Bush’s big spending).
Powell is what most Black Republicans once were: social liberals and moderates who thought the welfare state need a steady hand, as opposed to Democrat free wheeling.
They felt big government just needed the right management team, not reduction. They saw themselves as its careful stewards.
That perspective is at odds with current Republican thinking of any color.
Some speculate Powell is using Obama as revenge for mistreatment at the hands of the second Bush administration regarding his tenure as Secretary of State and his UN weapons of mass destruction presentation.
Perhaps.
As an American Black, I know only too well the mania his generation feels while supporting Obama at all costs.
They dangerously equate him as some secular equivalent to Jesus and declare Black opposition as civic sacrilege.
Given Colin Powell’s stellar military, White House, and foreign policy credentials, I hoped he didn’t see himself as a surly slave needing Obama as payback against his oppressors.
That seems a hope in vain.
If we’re brutally honest, Powell’s candid Obamaism merely articulates where many Rockefeller and even conservative Republicans who are Black stand on Obama.
They just won’t openly admit it.
Attacking the GOP as racist, while supporting a president who ignores growing Black suffering under his watch, is hypocritical.
Colin Powell’s command performance on Obama’s behalf shows just how badly American Blacks of his generation and others feel about America.
I understand his command performance because I see it daily in Black culture. Sadly, there is no pause button nor curtain call to halt this spectacle.

Colin Powell used the government to get ahead with Affirmative Action and he was ugly to Bill O Reilly and showed that he doesn’t care if you comment in one way he is using his racist comments to answer and he forgets that obama aka soetoro is a half breed and shows he is the racist himself. Am disgusted and show that as my ex military man and saw the non support of military dependants as in wife beating and other issues like stealing and lying. Shows he likes killing babies and no morals and values as the DNC Pink Vaginas and those ppl voted against.
I find that Obama is racist against his own black people in America. It’s difficult for most of them to see it because of the constant lies and brainwashing coming from the lying lamestream media, the Obama Administration, Hollywood, etc. Liberal blacks and liberals white have been badly brainwashed almost beyond hope or repair. Maybe, when Jesus Christ comes back He will cure them of their blindness to the truth. But, if you listen to the Black Republican PAC they say that unemployment among blacks under Obama is about 14%; amongst black teenagers it’s 41% and many blacks lost their wealth under Obama and were forced on food stamps. That doesn’t sound like freedom to me. That sounds like enslavement. I mean, if the government can give you something for free, the government can take it away to control you. Obama and his minions in DC want to control us to the highest degree. That’s, also, why they are trying to disarm us.
Their next step is to slaughter us if we don’t cooperate. That time will come if we give up our arms. Don’t give up your guns, America, black, brown or white.
I watched him on Fox News last week and he said he voted for Obama because he liked his economic policies in his first term and also that was why he voted for him the second time. If I was a well-respected patriot black man, I would be embarassed to say something so stupid. He just either be stupid, senile or I don’t know. Why didn’t he just be honest and say he voted for O because O is black.

This is one of the most bias and racist aticles I’ve read in a long time. I used to have a great respect for Mr. Powell, but I don’t guess I need to say anything more, except, ask some of those black Conservatives what they think. I’d love to here Alfonzo Rachels’ comment.
The simple fact is; The guy is not who we thought he was. The damage he has done is irreversible. From this day forward, I will place him in the same category as Al Sharpton…When I see him on my screen, I will change the channel. He will end up selling his name at wrestling matches or roller derbies. He has forfeited all the respect he once had….He can be a regular guest on, MSNBC that way no one will see him.
