I saw Obama cry on TV when he knew the world was watching him speak about the CT. shootings and I was truly surprised. I didn’t think he had a heart or compassion then I realized the liberals don’t, They just have an agenda. and that agenda was to use this to get a maximum impact on their desire to get rid of our guns. Communist and Socialist don’t have compassion or feelings , I am sorry if that sounds hateful or so very terrible but I feel it is the truth. We have no justice in this country anymore. We have a president that I know is not legally eligible to hold that office as the supreme court in the 1800′s defined a Natural Born Citizen as a citizen that is born in the US and both parents are Us citizens. Obama’s father was a British citizen and therefore he is ineligible. But try to remove him or stop him from running in the first place and you get nowhere. Why, because he and holder are crooks from Chicago they learned from the Mafia types how to buy judges and holder is in control of the FBI and Obama is in control of secret service. Holder hates America and especially the whites but that doesn’t make him a racist because he is a Black liberal of the Union labor party.( a Democrat) Obama hates America because he grew up with the Muslims and Chicago has a large Muslim population he wasn’t even a christian until he got into the presidents office. Could someone please slap the “news man ” upside the head and get him to pay attention to the facts, First there was no assult weapon used that was in the car and never brought into the school , second no one made mention to the fact that and armor peircing ammo was used , if it was perhaps more would have survived , because armor peirceing ammo does not mushroom as does hunting ammo and possibly would have passed right through and unless hitting a vital organ there is a good chance of survival. The killer had 2 hand guns and that is what he used , Now if the teachers were armed or there was a police officer on duty as in most schools this whole thing may have been avoided. The assault rifle he talks about is not exactly like the military assault rifle and is a SPORT rifle a difference the reporter either does not know or leaves that info out so he can pass on the idea Guns Kill People. Also doesn’t any one know or hear of gun safes?
The actual term assault rifle is describing any weapon that can be converted instantly from semiautomatic to full automatic with just a flip of a lever or switch. The other semiautomatics are not assault weapons. To name them as such is incorrect.
For some unknown reason many advocate keeping all guns in a safe or somehow locked up and out of reach. Guns in a safe are difficult to acquire quick enough to provide protection in an emergency unless it can be predicted. The element of surprise is in the intruders or aggressors favor when guns are in safes. Unloaded guns are not weapons of defense. Guns that are not in the ready are not protection. However, when little children are around a method of securing any gun from that child should be used as well as gun education. In the case of nut job adults like the mass murderers who have acted in the last several years in Virginia Tech, Tucson Arizona and Aurora Colorado they acquired the weapons themselves because no one reported or paid any attention to the illness. In the case of Newtown however, the nut killed his own mother and stole her weapons. I wonder if a safe would have kept the weapons secure. If this guy knew the combination or where to find it the safe would have been no security against him. In any case the mother should have sought professional help for her child. Therefore, it is difficult to “not” blame the mother nearly as much as the shooter himself. Although there may be, parental reasons for her not seeking help they are not an excuse for her naivete. In the final analysis 26 people died because she misjudged her sons problem(s).
Most folks of my era grew up with guns. I was taught to shoot and how to handle and respect a gun when I was only five years old. I was given a shotgun when I was eight and hunted alone when I was nine. However, I was born and raised on a farm in Pennsylvania and everyone had guns. They were a tool like any other tool we used. They just had a specific use. Education of all aspects of guns is what is lacking in today’s world. In my world as a kid almost everyone lived on a farm and grew up realizing responsibility. That is missing in today’s world. We should all wish it wasn’t.
The AR-15 is NOT an assault rifle at all. Don’t give them any leeway on these lies and distortions.

Tell people the truth … tell them that the AR-`15 is no different than other rifles except that it RESEMBLES the M-16/M4 machine gun that our troops use.

Eliminating the deadly fallacy of “gun-free zones” will prevent most of these crimes, by eliminating the certainty that they can be accomplished without the threat of resistance. Even in the remaining cases, it will at least allow them to be stopped before they can rack up such high body counts.

How many innocent men, women, and children have to die in this country before the madness of prohibiting good people the means of self-defense is ended?
And, before someone says that the good people shooting back to stop these nuts will just kill more innocents, the federal government’s own statistics show that armed civilians acting in self-defense (or the defense of others) are more than 5.5 times LESS likely than the police to accidentally shoot an innocent person.
Gun control will not stop criminals from getting guns. By definition, they don’t obey laws. Neither will it dissuade the insane.
The only way to prevent, or at least reduce, the deaths is to allow people the means to defend themselves and others promptly and effectively. That means allowing the good, honest, law-abiding people to carry weapons for self-defense and (at their option) the defense of other innocents.

We build a non-sustaining false sense of self esteem in them… we tell them they don’t have to have respect for anyone they don’t feel has earned it, and we desensitize them through horrifically graphic games, movies, and music. Surprise… they grow up confused because they don’t enjoy the same success they were promised as adolescents, they are not repulsed by their own violent thoughts because they have been expressing them through games their entire lives, and they have no hope because we have taken all moral teachings from them in our assault on religious beliefs and practice.

Since the majority of crimes involving guns in America, and that includes murder, occur in the inner cities of America, which are all controlled by the Democrat Party Leaders and have been for years, they should clean up their own house first. Get those illegal street weapons removed from their cities, instead of allowing them to come into their cities and slaughter the folks therein.
Up the penalty for those who commit crimes with weapons, say like; 15 years if you’re found in possession of an illegal weapon, 25 years if you use a weapon in a crime, 50 years if you hurt someone with that weapon during a crime. Maybe the kid was supposed to use the AR and forgot it. That’s what happens when using the mentally unstable, so CNN is going right along with the “Assault Weapons” gig just as if the insane kid had used the “Bushmaster”. Anyone get the feeling this was already prepared? With the Dem’s in office, we all knew this “Take the Guns” routine was coming.

In the wake of the mass murders that took place in Newtown, Connecticut on Dec. 14, information on the shooter, and his family, is slowly being discovered by law enforcement other sources. One interesting connection to the tragedy that took place at the Sandy Hook school is that the father of Adam Lanza has a connection to the theater shootings that took place in Aurora earlier this year by James Holmes.
Both fathers of the shooters were allegedly expected to testify in the Libor scandal that rocked the banking world in June.
The father of Newtown Connecticut school shooter Adam Lanza is Peter Lanza who is a VP and Tax Director at GE Financial. The father of Aurora Colorado movie theater shooter James Holmes is Robert Holmes, the lead scientist for the credit score company FICO. Both men were to testify before the US Sentate in the ongoing LIBOR scandal. The London Interbank Offered Rate, known as Libor, is the average interest rate at which banks can borrow from each other. 16 international banks have been implicated in this ongoing scandal, accused of rigging contracts worth trillions of dollars. HSBC has already been fined $1.9 billion and three of their low level traders arrested.

Libor is the internal banking interest rate that major financial institutions determine each day for lending purposes between each facility. Manipulation of the Libor rate has resulted in hundreds of billions, if not trillions of dollars in fraudulent payments made by billions of customers throughout the financial world.
For similar events on the magnitude of both Aurora and Newtown to hold a connection to one of the greatest financial scandals in the history of finance is astronomically slim in regards to coincidence. In fact, neither shooter had a history with firearm proficiency, and the outcome of each shooting showed an expertise many trained military personnel could not achieve. This leaves the question of where they got their training, or if there was another plot involved which allowed these young men to perform the actions they did with such precision. (end). Who is this dumb guy? Armor piercing ammo, I bet he is talking full metal jacket rounds. The reason the Armies of the world don’t use hollow point ammo is due to the fragmenetation of hollow point or soft nose bullets. A full metal jacket is more likely to go thru clean rather than shatter. However, a 5.56 or .223 ammo has a tendency to tumble, after contact, and be very erratic in it’s path due to it’s light weight. It also deflects easily. (Big problem when I was in Vietnam.)

Chicago is a war zone almost every day. Philadelphia is a shooting gallery. I hope this guy is smart enough to realize if you mark yourself as a target the local thug will pay you a visit. If the police were able to be everywhere when needed, his twisted logic would be sound. Looking at it realistically, this is a pipe dream of the uninformed or just plain ignorant. If some guy or group of guys are coming at my house with malicious intent, I’ll risk the penalty for shooting them. Too many people who have no idea of clear and present dangers in todays society or are spouting idiology have the most to say. There truly is a need for an armed citizenry. I do get a bit wary when you need 100 round magazines to protect yourself. Either you need lots of shooting practice or you have a small army on your block, looking to do you harm.
I recently read an article that there are Iranian special forces (and probably other terrorist groups), in the USA ready to carry out acts of terrorism. If this is true I really have to reevaluate my need for a more suitable weapon. Just in case…….It is my true belief that if I and many more had faith in our government, much of this distrust would go away. Right now my vote is NO CONFIDENCE and I’ll keep a weapon handy.

If CNN can explain how a criminal would be made to abide by laws, I’d be curious how making law abiding citizens give up their guns would make any difference in their safety? Does anybody truly believe that criminals would give up their guns? Does anybody believe that disarming law abiding citizens make them safer from criminals? Interesting that CNN has nothing to say about automobiles causing 16,300 deaths in 2011? Shall automobile manufacturers be forced to stop making automobiles? Approximately 300 children drowned in swimming pools last year. Shall swimming pools be outlawed too? Approximately 1 1/2 million babies in the womb were aborted last year. Do the gun grabbers have any feelings about that? Making the gun an issue isn’t about gun control, it all about control…period! The 2nd Amendment isn’t about “needs,” it’s about rights. Who “needs” a PC? You can go to the library to do research. You can also buy an old typewriter to write or simply use a pen. Who “needs” automobiles? You can take the bus or ride a bicycle. Who “needs” a large home, when a garage size tent would keep you out of the elements? Who “needs” a television, when a radio can get you the news? Who “needs” a microwave when an oven can do the food warming for you? I was a victim in a home invasion in 1995. What good is for only police to have guns? It did no good for me. If I would have had a gun there is a possibility that I could have stopped the blacks that shot me. But the police finally came after they had left. I now have guns and someone had better not try to break in again. Take away everyone’s guns and we have no security against a government who is taking away our liberties like obama seems bent on doing. That is the real reason for the second amendment, to protect ourselves from the government gone amok.
