In mid-July, our staff posed the question of whether there might be a “constructive secession” by various states if Barack Obama was re-elected. Unfortunately, he has been reelected; and this hypothetical question has become a reality under the name of “peaceful secession.” Now it’s just a week past the election, and there are already citizen groups in FIFTEEN STATES asking for a peaceful secession from the United States of America.
Where this will take us and when it might reach its climax remains to be seen, but a few things are sure: There will be no peaceful secession, nor will there be secession by force of arms by any state. Nevertheless, neither of these facts preclude a “constructive secession” that would serve the ends of a “peaceful secession” perhaps even more effectively.
Simple strict adherence to administrative process could very quickly level the national “playing field” in the struggle to stop the unconstitutional onslaught from Obama. He has purposefully exacerbated tensions between those who pull the wagon in our country and made it clear he intends to make us slaves to his regime. Now the ever-present “red tape” Obama himself swore to cut to help Sandy victims can force him to live with the consequences of his actions.
The reaction to Obama’s reelection has been faster and stronger than anyone could have predicted. The level of frustration caused by Obama’s evisceration of our way of life has skyrocketed, and there now seems to be no way to avoid a constitutional crisis.
Given its stunning rate of escalation, there is sure to be a Tenth Amendment test case heard by the Supreme Court as soon as next spring. But even that swift action will be behind the curve – by how much is the only question.
Peaceful Secession through Constructive Secession
Borrowing from civil divorce law, constructive secession could occur as states either refuse to fulfill their obligations of compliance under their compact with the federal government (which isn’t likely) or do so at a snail’s pace supported by miles of red tape, which is more likely.
There are dozens of states that have indicated they will not comply with the requirements of Obamacare. Two governors have announced their states will not comply with changes in welfare eligibility rules dictated to them by Obama.
Can any observer be truly surprised that the “peaceful secession” movement now even includes New Jersey and Colorado? Can anyone even casually watching this kettle boil be certain the 15 States in this movement are all that will join, and that this movement has reached its high water mark?

I don’t believe secession of any state is necessary at this time because we have not exhausted all constitutional means of redressing the grievances that so many citizens have. For example we have a judicial oligarchy in the Supreme court which our president and congress as well as state governments have cowtowed to for too long. If we believe that the ninth and tenth amendments limit the power of the federal government to only those enumerated in the constitution, the people need to be aware of the extraordinary power they have as America’s fourth branch of government and ask our congressional leaders to reign in the abuses of power exercised by the judiciary such as Roe V Wade and more recently Obamacare. The courts do not make law by their opinions; it is the job of congress to make laws according to the first amendment and the president to enforce laws which congress makes. The courts merely advise the other two branches as to the constitutionality of a particular law. That does not mean that they have the final say. That belongs with the people. If any branch of government exceeds their enumerated authority, the people need to hold their elected officials accountable. One example I would like to see is to call for the recall or impeachment of supreme court justices who legislate from the bench such as John Roberts did when he called the penalty for people who do not have health insurance a tax. It is not the Supreme Court to decide a penalty to be a tax when even the Obama administration didn’t even call it a tax. Another example is that congress and state legilslatures should ignore Roe v Wade and should declare it unconstitutional because it clearly violates the Declaration of Independence’s unalienable right to life clause and the fifth and fourteenth amendments’ due process clause. Does not the constitution state in article 3 section 1 that the judges serve “under good behavior”? Judges who legislate from the bench are not behaving themselves. Congressional leaders and presidents who do not hold them accountable are negligent in their duties. It is time that the people hold them accountable.

I have come to believe that the general public is less than intelligent on truth or self realizing when it comes to Obama and Economy in general and far too many do not care what is done at the poll as long as their bimbo is elected. This election smells of fraud. As for one comment above about due process– get your head out of the sand. SCOTUS refused to make whole the issue about Obama’s eligibility; instead passing the buck stating it is the job of the media and Congress to properly vet candidates. What a CROCK. Then, SCOTUS allows a sitting President to pass a new TAX on the American public?

I think it is important to “highlight” the fact that it is “some people” in the states (not the actual states) that are asking for succession from the union.
I think it is also important for people to realize the near impossibility of such ever happening. Could you imagine what such would entail?

If we were not able to stop Obnama before the election it is too late now. With The Bilderberg Group, UN, Trilateral Commission, North American Union, International Monetary Fund, World Bank, World Court, Open Society Institute, Center for American Progress, Tides Foundation, islam, CAIR, Club of Rome, Illuminati, Skull and Bones, Communist Party, Socialist Party all backing Obama gives Obama the power and the money to stay in power for a long time. The only path to any resolution is working through your respective states’ legislature’s to invoke article V of the constitution to convene a constitutional convention.

Oh no! You do not want to change the constitution! This is not the way! Even with the people that claim to be conservative I would never trust to make any changes to this great document that we, the people of this country have allowed the courts and the politicians to try and destroy. Our present Constitution, if it were strictly adhered to, and not “bypassed” by executive orders, etc. is just fine. A constitutional convention opens the door to completely doing away with our constitution and instituting a dictatorship. The Catholic bishops recently declared their intention to commit “civil disobedience” against a mandate depriving them of freedom of religion, and dictating they fund behaviors they consider morally wrong.
Do we have their courage?
It is time for Obama to step down as president. No one has ever divided our country like this man. He is a ghost and pure evil. His supporters will do and have done anything to get him re-elected, illegal acts with the election system. There is no telling where this is going to go but it doesn’t bid well for our country. If he cared for the country, he would step down.

I wouldn’t be too quick to relive the events of the 1860s. I wonder if those who are pushing petitions for secession have really fully thought this out. Are they considering what will happen to programs that are getting Federal financial help, such as Defense and law enforcement? Who is going to take over the Postal Service in each state? What is going to happen to retired Federal workers and Military who are drawing pensions and those drawing Social Security? Do you think those checks will keep going to people in the states that seceded? How are the major waterways and highways going to be maintained? How is each state going to keep up a Defense force? They each have a National Guard but their equipment is provided by the Federal Government. How are they going to supply that force and maintain or replace their equipment? What type of currency will be used and how will it be backed up? The list goes on. The bottom line is, who is going to pay for all the additional expenses that will result from the absence of Federal funds? The bigger and wealthier states like Texas and Alaska may be able but what about the others that are not self supporting? I think this is an impulse reaction by those who are frustrated because Romney lost. Do you really think this is going to shake up the President and his followers? They will only laugh at you and call your bluff. Until these questions and a lot more are answered I have no intention of signing such a petition.
Like many other people, I am extremely concerned that if Obama is to remain in our government when he is not qualified, with his socialist, communistic background, he will cause the ruination of my country. I am not aghast with the idea of succeeding from the USSA (United Socialist States of America). First before going that route we must first attempt to rid our self of this abomination. If not possible, perhaps forming a new young country founded of the original documents of our country. There are many things we must look at and solve before heading in that direction.

This has been in the works long before Obama was even born. That is what Khrushchev meant when he said that they will defeat us from within without firing a shot. Don’t be too eager for a civil war. If that happens no one wins but our enemies. It will not just be restricted to fighting each other in the streets. Do you think our enemies will just sit back and do nothing? North Korea will go south and we will be powerless to stop them. China will prepare to invade us after we have been killing each other in the streets and are weaker. I would bet that a lot of other countries will be eager to join them. The United Nations will surely be pouring gas of encouragement on that fire. The bulk of our Armed Forces are serving overseas. They will be stranded and unable to return home. Our so called allies will be unwilling or powerless to get involved and may have no choice but to join them all against us. This will grind our factories (or what is left of them) to a halt so we will not be able to replace our supplies. For us it will be a come as you are war. What we have on hand at the start is all we will have. It will be a bloodbath. People , in the past, who were escaping Tierney, from other countries, ran to America. If this happens, we Americans will have no place to go. If Joseph McCarthy were still alive, he would be saying “I TOLD YOU SO!”

Now you know how I felt in the courtroom in Tallahassee when the judge ruled that he couldn’t proceed against Obama’s name being on the ballot because Obama was not yet the ‘official’ nominee of the Democrat party.Now you know how I felt when Judge Malihi in Georgia warned Obama’s attorneys not to appear ‘at their own peril,’ and when they didn’t he ruled in Obama’s favor anyways.
Now you know how I felt when I asked Sen. David Vitter (R-LA) to his face if he would support legislation such as that put forward by Sen. A.G. Crowe (R-LA) which would require presidential candidates to establish their constitutional eligibility before being permitted to have their name on the ballot in Louisiana and Sen. Vitter told me that ‘he’d look into it.’ Several months later Sen. Vitter endorsed Marco Rubio–ineligible to be president or vice-president as a non-natural-born citizen–as a Republican running mate for Romney!
Now you know how I felt when–after polls referenced in World Net Daily articles reported an enormous majority within the Tea Party and the Republican Party either believed that Obama was a fraud and ineligible or had their doubts–my Governor here in Louisiana, Bobby Jindal, a man constitutionally ineligible to be president as a non-natural born citizen, actively pursued, (and I mean literally: he actually followed the Romney campaign bus around), the nomination as the Republican VP running mate with no regard for the heartfelt cry from all corners of the country for our representatives to stand and defend the constitution against the criminal usurper, fraud and forger.
Now you know how I felt when I stood and listened to the preliminary findings of Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s volunteer Cold Case Posse and the pathetic liberal media puppets who attacked the messengers with what amounted to nothing less than the heckling of a crowd–the larger news media networks not even present for the presentation of incontrivertable evidence that the purported president had presented ‘We the People’ with patently fraudulent, forged documents in an effort to cover-up the most sinister crime in American history: the criminal usurpation of the office of the president of the United States of America.
Now you know how I felt when I learned that, regarding the 8 different cases that have been denied a hearing by the Supreme Court, the two liberal judges illegally appointed by Obama did not have the measure of honor to recuse themselves from any discussion or deliberation on the cases when, quite naturally, were any of those cases to have proceeded successfully, the appointment of those two slimy worms would quite naturally have been retro-actively abrogated along with any and all decisions upon which they had ruled.
Now you know how I felt when investigative reporter Susan Daniels uncovered that Obama’s Social Security number is fraudulent and nothing was done about it.Now you know how I felt when I learned that when lead detective Mike Zullo attempted to inspect the registration log book at the Honolulu Dept. of Health in which Obama’s birth was recorded in 1961 he and a fellow detective from Maricopa County, Arizona were met by what any writer might describe as “goons” and instructed to depart the premises. (By the way, in 1961 any Honolulu resident could walk in to the Health Dept. and register an ‘unattended birth’ that had “taken place” –that’s right, they could just walk in and register a birth with no photos, no doctor’s note, nothing, and more than a few Japanese are on record as having done that for children born in Japan in order to aquire American citizenship for them. Hmmmmm.)
Now you know how I felt when Obama said–what were his words?–I don’t remember…something like, ‘should the winds of war change I will stand with Islam.’
Now you know how I felt when Dr. Jerome Corsi corroborated and reported that Obama prays in an impeccable Arabic; that’s right, with no distinguisable accent to a native speaker. Hmmmmm.
Now you know how I felt when Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin, a surgeon in the 101st Airborne (Screaming Eagles), was stripped of his rank and court-martialed for simply requesting, as is his duty according to his oath to defend the constitution, that his purported commander-in-chief provide authentication that he legally, constitutionally, occupies said rank–not unlike any soldier authenticating an officer crossing a check-point–and for this he was dishonored and imprisoned. Lt. Col. Lakin had served in combat theaters of operation and was getting ready to re-deploy when he was wrongfully accused and imprisoned. Then Obama presented us with a forged birth certificate.
Where is the outrage? Where are the red-white-and-blue blooded Americans who would stand and fight or if neccesary lay down their lives for the American experiment in ‘government of the People?’
Secession is not the answer.
Abrogation now is the answer.
