With the exception of one column previously penned, I pray this becomes my most widely read to date.
The secular left has mastered use of the Internet to further its extremist goals. In fact, President Obama’s web-based “Organizing for America” propaganda machine may have given him the 2008 election.
Let’s beat them at their own game.
To that end, I have a strange request. I’m asking each God-fearing, freedom-loving American who reads this column to forward it; post it; tweet it; print it out; and give it to every pastor, priest, or cleric you know. If you don’t know any, give it to someone who does.
Why? I agree with Barack Obama that November 2012 represents the most important election of our lifetimes – perhaps our history. Of course, that’s where my agreement with Mr. Obama both begins and abruptly ends.
Here’s the operable question: Do we want America “fundamentally transformed” to mirror the secular-socialist ideals of the radical leftist currently “occupying” the White House?
In Barack Obama’s America, individual freedom is trampled beneath jackboots as a matter of course. It’s already happening at an unprecedented rate.
One need only look to the HHS mandate forcing Christian groups – both Catholic and Protestant – to violate, under penalty of law, biblical prohibitions against abortion homicide.
Or consider recent attempts by multiple elected officials, all Democrats, to shutdown Chick-fil-A – a private, Christian-owned business – simply because its leadership holds the biblical view of marriage.
Is this George Washington’s America, or Joseph Stalin’s Russia?
It’s definitely not your father’s USA.
Instead, wouldn’t we prefer the America envisioned by our Founding Fathers? A constitutional republic wherein individual liberty – whether economic, First Amendment-related, or Second Amendment-related – is sacrosanct and off limits?
Pastors, you’re it. You’re our front line of defense. It’s up to you to rally the troops. Now begins the second American Revolution and, as with the first, it’s on you – men of the cloth – to take the lead.
That is, if you hope to remain free to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Speaking of chicken: in recent years, there’s been an epidemic of cultural inaction exhibited by far too many ministers of the gospel. It’s fear-based. “Oh, I don’t talk about political issues,” they say. “You know, ‘separation of Church and State’ and all that.”
Baloney.
If this is you – and only you and our Lord know for sure – you’ve been deceived by the enemies of God. You’ve chosen the easy way out – the path of least resistance. This is something Christ, whom all Christians are called to emulate, never did – not once.
So, respectfully, man-up, Padre! Be the “salt and light of the world,” as Christ so admonished.
But you don’t have to go it alone. There are detailed, easily digestible tools available. Civil-rights firm Liberty Counsel, for instance, is distributing more than 100,000 copies of “Silence is Not an Option,” a concise, though, and comprehensive DVD and printed material collection informing pastors and churches about what is permissible regarding political activity (Please, get it for your church at LC.org or by calling 1-800-671-1776).
“The church must be empowered to confront the assaults on our culture, our faith, and our freedom,” said Mat Staver, founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel. ”I don’t want any pastor, church leader or lay person to say, ‘What more could I have done to protect life and liberty?’”
“Silencing people of faith in the public square has always been the goal of those who realize the influence that pastors, churches and people of faith have on elections. I want pastors to remove the muzzle and replace it with a megaphone,” he said. “Pastors and churches have a lot of freedom to address biblical and moral issues, to educate people about the candidates, and to encourage people to vote. Not one church has ever lost its tax-exemption for endorsing or opposing candidates or for supporting or opposing local, state or federal laws.”
Did you get that? Despite hundreds of thousands of threatening letters sent by hard-left groups like the ACLU and Barry Lynn’s Americans United, not a single church has lost tax-exemption for socio-political activity – zip, zero, nada. Not even for endorsing candidates from the pulpit.
Indeed, if these anti-Christian bullies had been around two-and-a-half centuries ago, and our forefathers had paid them any mind, we may never have had the first American Revolution.
Don’t let them halt the second.
We’re on the precipice of the abyss, and, pastors, I think you know it. But know this too: There’s a whole lot relating to both culture and politics you can both say and do, and very little – if anything – you can’t.
Churches can educate about political, moral, and biblical issues. These kinds of issues – whether abortion, marriage, feeding the poor, or any community issue – are never off limits from the pastor’s pulpit, even if politicians are also talking about them. “Silence is Not an Option” systematically addresses the misrepresentations used to muzzle America’s pastors and Christian leaders.
Leading up to Ronald Reagan’s landslide presidential victory in 1980, Rev. Jerry Falwell captured the crux of the church’s apathy problem: “What is wrong in America today?” he asked. “We preachers – and there are 340,000 of us who pastor churches – we hold the nation in our hand. And I say this to every preacher: We are going to stand accountable before God if we do not stand up and be counted.”
Dr. Falwell’s words ring no less true today.
Imagine the benefit to our culture if thousands of churches across America registered millions of Christians to vote. How about pledge-drives wherein pastors ask tens-of-millions of Christians to simply commit to voting biblical values?
The possibilities are limitless.
Proverbs 4:18 reminds us: “The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.”
Shine bright, salt and light. Don’t be choked into dark silence.
Because silence is not an option.
It can’t be.

As much as I would just love to clock a Liberal, now is definitely not the time. I feel Liberals and especially Obama is just waiting for us to challenge their appalling mischief. I am a God-fearing, freedom-loving American. And I don’t believe for one minute that God would ever allow my freedom to teach the true Gospel of Jesus Christ to hinge on a man who comes with a different gospel getting into the office of the presidency.
Proverbs 29:2 says, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.”
Romney is wicked (as Obama is wicked). God is not up there in heaven saying, “Romney is less wicked than Obama. Thank Me for Romney because without him I don’t know what I would do for my people!”
The scripture says, “when the wicked beareth rule the people mourn.” –THAT includes if Romney beareths rule. We will mourn with Romney in office, as we mourn with Obama in office. God is NOT calling for us to vote for Romney anymore than He would call us to vote for Obama.
Look at what happened to Israel when Israel did not wait on the Lord, but put in princes and kings that God knew not (meaning they were not of the Lord.)

Dear Debra, You quote scripture with zeal. But here on earth, satan rules, not God. We await the kingdom of God. Those who keep God’s law , love and obey him will see God’s kingdom. We pray to him in faith that he hears us and helps us. He cares not who is our next president. But we the god fearing christains know that we would rather have a man who can talk about God holding office for our country. The evil which holds office today will never redeem himself. His mind is made up. He worships a false god. Not the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Please help by voting as a patriotic american christian. Help us get the evil out of our midst. You said that Obama worships a false god, so too does Romney. The Mormon god is NOT the god of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The Mormon god was a man who attained a godship on another planet and came here with his spiritual children.

Mention the FORTH HOOD TRAGEDY that has been swept under the rug and silenced by the mainstream media. Around 50 American Military were shot by an Arab Muslim Terrorist, while crying “Allahu Akbar”. The Kenyan Muslim false president of the US, defined this wholesale terrorist act, as a “WORKING PLACE ACCIDENT”, so his Muslim brother would not be judged as a terrorist. The election deception, delusion and division in the church today

This deception that I speak of has cost me friends, ostracized by fellow professing christian brothers and sisters and persecution of the likes I have ever encountered in all the years of my life as a believer and minister of the gospel of Christ Jesus. It will probably cost me even more after some of them read this.
What I am referring to is the stance that I take from a biblical perspective on this presidential election of 2012.
I contend that to support Romney in this presidential election is a act of disobedience to God and His word.
Before I go any further, I would like to make it perfectly clear that I do not and have never supported Obama and have exposed him as another evil and as the worst president that we have ever had. He is ungodly also!
Now, I would like to share what I believe every Christian has overlooked or just ignore that supports Romney.
1. He is a Mormon
2. He is a false teacher 2 peter 2:1-3
3. He is a false prophet and a wolf in sheep’s clothing.Matthew 7:15
4. He is ungodly like the scripture in Psalm 1 warns us not to abide in their council. 2 John 1:7
For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
5. He has no Godly wisdom because his wisdom comes from a wordily perspective.
6. He is an antichrist according to 1 John 2:22
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist that denieth the Father and the Son.
What he believes! That are all lies straight from the pit of hell!
1.About God! That He was once a man!
2. About Jesus! That he was created and the spiritual brother of Satan.
3. About Salvation! He believes in universal salvation
4. About man! He believes man can work and eventually become a god.
Anyone can find this information about Mormons. It is public record and it should have been taught from the pulpit concerning the cults of today. The late Walter Martin, John Ankerberg and many other apologetic ministers who defend the faith have warned continuously of the dangers of the Mormon doctrine and organization.
It is also should be obvious to all believers who adhere and read the scriptures that we can not support a Mormon in anything that they do, especially as the leader of our great country, the USA.
Here is what scripture dictates concerning any Mormon, no matter if it is someone running for a local community office or the president of the united states.
1 .Ephesians 5:11 “Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.”
2. 1 Timothy 1:3-4 “As I urged you when I went into Macedonia, stay there in Ephesus so that you may command certain men not to teach false doctrines any longer nor to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies. These promote controversies rather than God’s work – which is by faith.”
3. 2 Timothy 2:16-18 “Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly. Their teaching will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, who have wandered away from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the faith of some.”
4. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 “But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God — having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.”
5. 2 Timothy 4:2 “Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage – with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, thy will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from truth and turn aside to myths.”
6. Titus 1:9-13 “He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it. For there are many rebellious people, mere talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision group. They must be silenced, because they are ruining whole households by teaching things they ought not to teach – and that for the sake of dishonest gain. Even one of their own prophets has said, “Cretans are always liars, evil brutes, lazy gluttons.” This testimony is true. Therefore, rebuke them sharply, so that they will be sound in the faith and will pay no attention to Jewish myths or to the commands of those who reject the truth.”
7. Titus 2:1 “You must teach what is in accord with sound doctrine.”
8. 1 John 4:1-3 “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus, that spirit is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.”
9. 2 John 1:10-11 “If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take him into your house or welcome him. 11Anyone who welcomes him shares in his wicked work.”
10.Galatians 1:6-9
6 I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel,
7 which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.
9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.
In summary this is how believers are to respond to Mormons and false teachers.
1. Expose them! Ephesians 5:11
2. Not to teach false doctrine or devote any time to them! 1 Timothy 1:3-4
3. Avoid Godless chatter! 2 Timothy 2:16-18
4. Have nothing to do with them! 2 Timothy 3:1-5
5. Preach the word! 2 Timothy 4:2
6. Rebuke Them! Titus 1:9-13
7. Teach sound doctrine! Titus 2:1
8. Test the spirit whether they are of good or evil! 1 John 4:1-3
9. Do not welcome them or wish them Godspeed! 2 John 1:10-11
10. Let them be accursed! Galatians 1:6-9
In conclusion…I have heard people say that for one not to vote for Romney is a vote for Obama or it comes down to the lesser of the evils.
There is nothing in the word of God that tells us it is okay to choose one evil over another. In fact the opposite is true. We are to abhor what is evil and cling to what is good and you can’t do that in this 2012 presidential election. They are both evil and ungodly and devoid of wisdom.
For the true believer in Christ Jesus, it is clear and the commands are sure. We can not vote for either of these two individuals regardless of the outcome of the election. That is in God’s hands! It is our duty and responsibility to obey God in this and through all that we do, do it for the glory of God.
Finally, My intent is to not make enemies but to tell the truth and expose false teachers and honor my Lord! I believe that this election has cause more division in the body of Christ of America then any other time in history. Why one might ask? Because my position and other evangelical preachers and ministers of the gospel that have been taught that Mormonism is a cult and should not be supported or because there is a strong delusion and deception that has made Christians overlook the biblical precepts and principles for dealing with false teachers and false prophets and wolves in sheep clothing who are of the Antichrist spirit?
I pray that God will reveal truth to us all and that His will be done in this election. That we seek Him in this matter and in doing so, He will be glorified.
2 Timothy 2:1-5
1 You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
2 And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.
3 Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.
4 No one serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs–he wants to please his commanding officer.
5 Similarly, if anyone competes as an athlete, he does not receive the victor’s crown unless he competes according to the rules.

III. He must not entangle himself in the affairs of this world, 2 Timothy 2:4. A soldier, when he has enlisted, leaves his calling, and all the business of it, that he may attend his captain’s orders. If we have given up ourselves to be Christ’s soldiers, we must sit loose to this world; and though there is no remedy, but we must employ ourselves in the affairs of this life while we are here (we have something to do here), we must not entangle ourselves with those affairs, so as by them to be diverted and drawn aside from our duty to God and the great concerns of our Christianity. Those who will war the good warfare must sit loose to this world. That we may please him who hath chosen us to be soldiers. Observe, 1. The great care of a soldier should be to please his general; so the great care of a Christian should be to please Christ, to approve ourselves to him. The way to please him who hath chosen us to be soldiers is not to entangle ourselves with the affairs of this life, but to be free from such entanglements as would hinder us in our holy warfare.
