The Chicken Little’s are once again screaming about the end of the world as we know it due to alleged “global warming.”
The latest alarmist jabberwocky comes from a Reuters article in the Scientific American, titled: “Global Warming Close To Becoming Irreversible.”
According to this end-of-the-world scenario, we’re supposedly going to reach some sort of “tipping point” beyond which our world will be in dire trouble. The old “tipping point” was to be in 2200. Now it’s been revised to whenever the Chicken Little’s decide it is politically expedient. Gotta keep those government grants flowing into the coffers of these climate alarmist think tanks, don’t we?
Chicken Little Will Steffen with the Australian National University Climate Change Institute claims that “We are on the cusp of some big changes. We can … cap temperature rise at two degrees, or cross the threshold beyond which the system shifts to a much hotter state.”
According to the Reuters article, millions of trees will die, the Siberian permafrost will be destroyed, the oceans will become acidic, coral reefs will die, etc.
We’re heard all of this nonsense before from the likes of the bloated Al Gore.
Hasn’t this guy read the Climategate emails or read the reports published by Senator James Inhofe or the books published by Brian Sussman, Christopher Horner, James Delingpole, or Steve Molloy on the bogus climate change scams? Where has this guy been – living under a rock?
Guys like Steffen will continue screaming about the end of the world as long as government (tax dollars) continue flowing into organizations that are promoting climate alarmism. They need to be defunded and/or abolished – every one of them.

Yes, we need to take care of our world. Unfortunately, the Elite are USING the “environmentalists” for their own AGENDA.
First of all, folks like Al Gore INVEST in “green” companies (like Solyndra which go BANKRUPT but still enrich their investors) to get rich.
Second, they want to TAX everybody through “carbon exchanges” so they can pretend to want to help “lesser” countries become “green” but such money usually goes to the LEADERS as BRIBES and is quite UNLIKELY to be used to “combat” Global Warming (which is a FRAUD).
Here’s the TRUTH about “warming”. I found on YouTube the videos of SCIENCE that told all this:
Cosmic rays from the universe create clouds on earth. Solar flares block cosmic rays. So, when there are lots of solar flares, it gets hotter because the cosmic rays didn’t make the clouds that would have cooled us.
As to “climate change”. Well, heard of “cloud seeding”? They’ve been doing it for DECADES so do you think they’d be doing it still if they didn’t SUCCEED in changing the climate? So, who is to blame for Climate Change? No, not CO2 but Cloud Seeding or whatever else COVERT our government is doing (maybe HAARP)
When you have large governments that have over spent and need to make up the difference, crisis mangement by lying, stealing and unaccountability are the only weapons they have to take everything you own and ruin your life.
Sure, global climate change is “irreversible” by way of the Watermelon alarmists’ proposed government thuggery.
That’s because such change is emphatically not to any significant extent – “tipping point” be damned – the result of human action.
The planet has been warming at about the same relatively steady rate (anthropogenic atmospheric carbon dioxide content notwithstanding) since the Little Ice Age began slowly to abate in about the year 1700. It’s generally held that the L.I.A. concluded completely in about 1850, the time at which the developed western nations began keeping track of surface temperatures with increasingly reliable thermometers.
The facts thus far observed and honestly evaluated show beyond all doubt that the cause of the Earth’s climate change is the Sun and for the past decade and more there’s been too much evidence for the acquittal of CO2 as a causative element in what global warming has been ensuing over the past three centuries.
