North Carolina’s Civitas Institute has revealed that the North Carolina State Board of Elections and the Obama campaign conspired to register at least 11,000 people via the internet in violation of state law. This has been confirmed through records requests filed with all of North Carolina’s 100 counties. The counting is not yet complete.
North Carolina does not allow online voting, but according to Civitas, SBE staff authorized an Obama campaign website, Gottaregister.com, to use a web-based registration program. The SBE’s chief lawyer responded to the charge with a plainly disingenuous 1984-newspeak answer:
Wright repeatedly denied that the SBE allowed online voter registration, insisting that it was “web-based voter registration”[ii] instead, as if there could be a “web-based” process that wasn’t online.
The technology from Allpoint Voter Services uses remote-control pens to transmit “signatures” over the Internet, according to techpresident.com[iii]. After entering voter information in an online form, the citizen “signs” it with a stylus or a finger. The Allpoint technology records the signature and then transmits it to one of two autopens – one in California, the other in Nevada[iv]. One of the pens transcribes the signature on to a paper voter registration form. Allpoint then mails the documents to local election boards – or is supposed to, a point we’ll come back to.
To say this is not “online” registration but “web-based” is like saying a certain vehicle is not a car, it’s an automobile. The point of having a “wet signature” – one in ink – is to provide a universally accepted way proving that a prospective voter is affirming in person all the facts on the form. To have an auto pen inserted at one point in this long computerized process is a far different thing. Even the Obama campaign called it online voter registration. Because, no matter how you twist words around, that’s what it is.

It saddens me to have to say that I cannot disagree with anything you say. As a retired Army soldier what I see each and every day boils my blood. To watch this once fine country fall into the hands of clear and obvious destroyers of Democracy, aided by supposed Members of the Opposing Party that in reality do nothing to prevent our demise, eats my soul.
During the last two Presidential elections we were informed over and over again about voter fraud, ballot box stuffing, voter intimidation, and so forth. Yet, other than a comment in the News, nothing was brought to Court. No one was prosecuted, no one was held accountable. More people voted for Obama in some major metropolitan districts than were even registered to vote, with not a single vote cast for the Republican candidate. Please bring to my attention if anyone has been imprisoned for these offences. I fear we Americans will get precisely what we deserve.
A women in Oregon was arrested and is being prosecuted for voter fraud and it seems that other states would do the same. What is truly sad about this last presidential election is that it is certainly beginning to appear that the election was stolen by Obama. The Allan West case in Florida where the person from the election board said there were inaccuracies with the counting. There were reports of counties around the country where more than 100% of registered voters voted. Unfortunately, none of the problems can be investigated & proven in a timely fashion to prevent the certification of the wrong candidate. And, had there been an accurate account & Romney had won, there would probably have been riots! So, our nation goes down the economic tubes and we have little power over the travesty.

In Florida over 100% of the voters voted in a precinct how can you have more voters than are registered. In Wisconsin people were bussed in from out of state to vote twice. In Ohio, Obama received 2,827,710 votes. Romney received 2,661,433 votes. The difference was more than 166,000. In fact, it was 166, 277. No one has ever claimed that voter fraud amounted to 166,000, or to one half of that, or to one quarter of that.
Obama is the employee of all the people of the USA, not just his friends, and certainly not just his enemies. All of us have the right to inquire, but unless you have somewhere near a majority of Americans asking the question, it is not very likely that he will answer it. Sure there was some voter fraud. There are always a few cases of it, and guess what, they occur on both sides. But there is not any evidence that there was sufficient voter fraud to overcome Obama’s 4.9 million more votes than Romney in the nation overall, or the 166,000 more votes that he won than Romney in Ohio or the 74,000 more votes that he won than Romney in Florida, and so forth. If there had been, if there had been a shred of evidence, the Republican officials in those states would have said something. In Ohio and in Florida both the governors and the secretaries of state of the states are Republican, and they admit that Obama won.

E-verify and SSNVS showed that this number used by Barack Obama was never assigned to him. We have an individual sitting in the WH as the US president and Commander-in-Chief, in control of our nuclear arsenal, while using a stolen/fraudulently obtained Social Security number from a state where he never resided. Additionally, former Chief Investigator of the special inveastigations unit of the U.S. Coast Guard Jeffrey Stephan Coffman prepared a sworn affidavit for Attorney Orly Taitz showing that Obama’s alleged application for the Selective Service is a forgery. According to 5 USC § 3328.one is forbidden from holding a position in the executive branch if he did not register for the Selective Service. Obama never legally registered for the selective service, as his application is a forgery, as such he is forbidden to work as a President in the White House or as a janitor in the White House. According to Obama’s school registration in Indonesia he is a citizen of Indonesia. According to his mother’s passport records his legal last name is Soebarkah. 1. Obama’s two official birth certificates, with the state seals on them. 2. The confirmation of the facts on the two birth certificates (short form and long form)—-that Obama was born in Hawaii—by THREE Republican officials in Hawaii (including the former Republican governor, who is a friend of Sarah Palin’s) and several Democrats, and by the public Index Data file. The acceptance of the written confirmation of the facts on Obama’s birth certificate by the conservative secretary of state of Arizona.
3. The notices of Obama’s birth in the Hawaii newspapers in 1961 that were sent to the papers “Health Bureau Statistics” section by the DOH of Hawaii—-and only the DOH could send those notices. (Also, the claim that the DOH could have been influenced by lying relatives turns out to be false because whenever there was a claim of a birth outside of a hospital, Hawaii insisted on a witness statement.)
4. The absence of a US travel document for Obama in 1961. Nor has there been an application for such a travel document found. (A child born in a foreign country would, of course, require either to be on his mother’s US passport or to receive a US visa on a foreign passport. In fact, it is irrational to believe that Obama’s relatives were rich enough (his grandfather was a furniture salesman and his grandmother was a low-level employee in a bank in 1961) or stupid enough to send Obama’s mother on a long, expensive and risky (the incidence of stillbirth was high in those days) trip to a foreign country when she was late in pregnancy——when there were perfectly fine hospitals in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Here’s the bottom line. Obama’s parents and grandparents had to be rich enough (and they were by no means rich) and nutty enough to send Obama’s mother to a foreign country to give birth, at high expense and enormous risk, when there were good hospitals in Hawaii AND both the officials in Hawaii of both parties, and the Bush Administration would have had to have lied and hidden evidence, for Obama to have been born in any other country than the USA.

Re some counties having more voters than people. That, duh, has always been the case. Its caused by states not spending the time and money to purge the rolls of voters who have died or moved away. But because there are more registered voters than people does not mean that the dead and the ones who have moved away actually vote. The procedure of checking off people by their address as the vote works very well to prevent that, and in any case if there was significant voter fraud the Republican officials of those states and such conservative leaders as Ann Coulter, Glenn Beck and the National Review, and Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan, would have said something about it. Obaam received 65.9 million votes to Romney’s 60.9 million and he received 332 electoral votes to Romney’s 208—and both Romney and Ryan accept that fact.

I suggest we all take a short, 3-day weekend vacation to Washington, DC all on the exact same day. Just a quick visit to the National Capitol as citizen sightseers. No rallies, no speeches, no organized events of any kind. Just smile, visit your Representative and your Senator in their Office Complex. The huge difference would be the sheer numbers of smiling constituents all at the same time; packing their offices like sardine cans. 50 or 60 million citizens sweeping in ought to do it.
After a short visit, simply go home. Back at your home, write a short letter to your elected idiots and let them know you enjoyed your visit at their office, however, the next time you show up you won’t be smiling and neither will they. Next time we 50 million citizens will throw you ALL out in the street and run you out of town on a rail.

The meaning of Natural Born Citizen has been defined in the US Supreme Court ruling in the Wong Kim Ark case, which BTW was AFTER Minor V. Happersett, and it ruled that the meaning of Natural Born Citizen comes from the common law and refers to the PLACE of birth, not to the citizenship of one or even two of the parents of a US-born citizen.
There have now been NINE state court rulings on Obama alone, and one federal court ruling on Obama, and one more state court ruling on McCain. All TEN of them said that the meaning of Natural Born Citizen was defined by the US Supreme Court in the Wong Kim Ark case, and that the Wong Kim Ark case said that the meaning of Natural Born came from the common law (as Edwin Meese, Ronald Reagan’s attorney general also said), and that Natural Born refers to the place of birth (as Meese, and senators Hatch and Graham all say), and that every child born in the USA except for the children of foreign diplomats is a Natural Born US Citizen.
“Under the longstanding English common-law principle of jus soli, persons born within the territory of the sovereign (other than children of enemy aliens or foreign diplomats) are citizens from birth. Thus, those persons born within the United States are “natural born citizens” and eligible to be President. Much less certain, however, is whether children born abroad of United States citizens are “natural born citizens” eligible to serve as President …”—- Edwin Meese, et al, THE HERITAGE GUIDE TO THE CONSTITUTION (2005) [Edwin Meese was Ronald Reagan’s attorney general, and the Heritage Foundation is a well-known Conservative organization.]
Here are some of the rulings (and btw, not one single court, not even in the Minor v. Happersett case, has ever ruled that two citizen parents are required:
Ankeny v. Governor of Indiana (Indiana 2008 – Appellate Court) ruling: “ Based upon the language of Article II, Section 1, Clause 4 and the guidance provided by Wong Kim Ark, we conclude that persons born within the borders of the United States are “natural born Citizens” for Article II, Section 1 purposes, regardless of the citizenship of their parents.”
Tisdale v. Obama (Virginia federal court 2012) ruling: “It is well settled that those born in the United States are considered natural born citizens.”
Purpura v. Obama (New Jersey 2012) ruling: “No court, federal, state or administrative, has accepted the challengers’ position that Mr. Obama is not a “natural born Citizen” due to the acknowledged fact that his father was born in Kenya and was a British citizen by virtue of the then applicable British Nationality Act. Nor has the fact that Obama had, or may have had, dual citizenship at the time of his birth and thereafter been held to deny him the status of natural born. It is unnecessary to reinvent the wheel here. … The petitioners’ legal position on this issue, however well intentioned, has no merit in law. Thus, accepting for the point of this issue that Mr. Obama was born in Hawaii, he is a ‘natural born Citizen’ regardless of the status of his father.”
Voeltz v. Obama (Florida 2012) ruling: “However, the United States Supreme Court has concluded that ‘[e]very person born in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, becomes at once a citizen of the United States. ‘Other courts that have considered the issue in the context of challenges to the qualifications of candidates for the office of President of the United States have come to the same conclusion.”
Allen v. Obama (Arizona 2012) ruling: “Most importantly, Arizona courts are bound by United States Supreme Court precedent in construing the United States Constitution, Arizona v. Jay J. Garfield Bldg. App. 2009). … The Indiana Court rejected the argument that Mr. Obama was ineligible, stating that children born within the United States are natural born citizens, regardless of the citizenship of their parents. … This Court finds the decision and analysis of [Ankeny] persuasive.”
Hollander v. McCain (New Hampshire 2008) ruling: “Those born “in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof,” U.S. Const., amend. XIV, have been considered American citizens under American law in effect since the time of the founding, United States v. Wong Kim Ark, 169 U.S. 649, 674-75 (1898), and thus eligible for the presidency…”

From our beginning, we were subjects of the British Crown. With the War for Independence, we became citizens.1 [READ this footnote!] We needed new concepts to fit our new status as citizens. Vattel provided these new republican concepts of “citizenship”. The gist of what Vattel says in Law of Nations, Book I, Ch. XIX, at §§ 212-217, is this:
§ 212: Natural-born citizens are those born in the country of parents who are citizens – it is necessary that they be born of a father who is a citizen. If a person is born there of a foreigner, it will be only the place of his birth, and not his country.
§ 213: Inhabitants, as distinguished from citizens, are foreigners who are permitted to stay in the country. They are subject to the laws of the country while they reside in it. § 214: A country may grant to a foreigner the quality of citizen – this is naturalization. There are many problems with all presidents, and you have the right to oppose presidents or any politician if you do not like them.
However, you do not have the right to make up facts. The facts are that Obama really was born in Hawaii, as his birth certificate from Hawaii and the confirmation of the officials of BOTH parties in Hawaii (including the former Republican governor) and the Index Data and the birth notices in the Hawaii newspapers sent to the papers by the DOH of Hawaii in 1961 all show. And the meaning of Natural Born Citizen really does come from the common law and really does refer to the place of birth.
Hence Obama is a Natural Born Citizen. In addition to his being eligible to be president (as BTW Rubio and Jindal are as well), he was elected president on November 6. He really was elected. As you can see, that quotation very clearly says that the meaning of Natural Born Citizen comes from the common law (” by the law of England for the last three centuries…”) And it also says that the same rules were in force in the American colonies (the 13 original colonies) and in the early states AND UNDER THE CONSTITUTION. It says that the meaning comes from the common law, and that that meaning referred to the place of birth—not to the citizenship of the parents.
And so far ten courts, nine state and one federal, have all ruled on Obama or McCain and in every case they pointed to the Wong Kim Ark ruling as the key ruling, and in every case they said that the Wong Kim Ark case ruled that every child born in the USA except for the children of foreign diplomats is a Natural Born Citizen.
So, both the facts and the law show that Obama is a Natural Born US Citizen, eligible to be president, and in addition to his being eligible, he was elected president on November 6 with a margin of votes of more than 4.9 million over Mitt Romney, and with 332 electoral votes to Romney’s 208.
BTW, facts are facts and cannot be made up.

If the choice is between believing the Indonesian Embassy, which says that Obama was never a citizen, and birther sites (which have a record of making up things, such as the claim that a US citizen could not visit Pakistan in 1981 or that Obama’s Kenyan grandmother said that he was born in Kenya, when she actually said that he was born in Hawaii), most rational people will believe the Indonesian Embassy.
The claim that Obama became an Indonesia citizen comes only from birther sites, as is the claim that you had to be an Indonesian citizen to attend school in Indonesia. The expert on both of those claims is the Indonesian government, and it says that neither are true.

That is why Black’s Law Dictionary had this definition of Natural Born Citizen:

So what was the original intent?
We can find it out by historical research. The writers of the US Constitution in their writings NEVER used the term Natural Born to refer to parents. They ONLY used it the same way that it was used in the common law, to refer to the place of birth.
Moreover, the writers at the time KNEW that the writers of the Constitution were referring to the place of birth, as the examples of Tucker and Rawle show:

Those examples, and Rawle was a friend of both Washington and Franklin, show that the writers at the time knew that the founders were referring to the common law and to the place of birth—not to the parents. That, in short, was their intent.

That is the argument ad hominem, the assumption that my background affects the facts that I show, or your background affects the facts that you show. Neither of course is true. Neither your background nor my background affect the facts or the law or for that matter the historic quotations. I have show two quotations that show how the people in the USA used the term Natural Born US Citizen shortly after the Constitution was written. Those quotations themselves, not my background, show that they were using the term to refer to the PLACE OF BIRTH.
For you to show that the writers of the Constitution were not referring to the place of birth, you have to show a quotation from them (and there isn’t any) or from other Americans at the time that used the term Natural Born Citizen to refer to parents. Or you could show some kind of article or letter indicating that they were referring to Vattel and not to the common law, which was the way that they had always used it.
My background is not in the law, but I have quoted four legal experts and ten appeals court cases (in addition to the Wong Kim Ark case itself), all of which say that the meaning of Natural Born refers to the place of birth and not to the citizenship of the parents.

@bobmann101; No. Logic, a missing item in most people’s minds, indicates that if a person (the mother) illegally enters a country, thereby committing a Federal Felony, it would be stupid to provide citizenship for her child.
If you believe that the law is stupid, you have the right to try to change it. Currently, the law is that every child born in the USA except for the children of foreign diplomats is a Natural Born US Citizen. That applies to the children of US citizens and it applies to the children of foreigners, and it applies even to the children of illegal immigrants. See above.
Oh, and by the way, while the mother may have committed a crime, the child didn’t.
The solution is simple, ellen. Deport both the mother and her child. We are supposedly a Nation of Laws. To encourage foreigners to break the law is ludicrous. To reward them for doing so violates common sense. What, pray tell, is wrong with having a legal, sensible, method to obtain citizenship?
Do you suppose we should go to Africa, the Middle East, North Korea, and load huge aircraft with people just to bring them here to roam the streets? Even if they were drug czars, or foreign agents? Perhaps you would argue with anyone just for the sake of disagreeing.
The question was whether the child was a Natural Born Citizen, not whether the child or the mother could be deported. The mother can certainly be deported. The child cannot because he or she is a citizen. You can try to change that, but currently it is the law. A US citizen cannot be deported. The mother may want to take the child with her when she is deported, and that is her right—but that is a great deal different from deporting the child.
As for rewarding them, if you are referring to the mother, I agree, she is not a citizen and should be treated under the law. The child IS a citizen, and in fact a Natural Born Citizen. IF he is taken back to Mexico by his mother, he has the right to return whenever he wants, and the right to run for president and to be president—because he is a NATURAL BORN citizen, not a naturalized one.
I quite agree that there should be a legal sensible method to obtain citizenship for those who are not citizens. That would be the mother in this case.
The child born in the USA is a citizen, a Natural Born citizen. Don’t like it? Well, you would have to change the constitution or convince the US Supreme Court to reverse itself to get what you want. The US Supreme Court has ruled that the meaning of Natural Born refers to the place of birth of the child, not to the citizenship of the parents.
@ellen; Please enlighten us with the law book reference that supports this claim since you are a legal scholar of considerable renound. Which volume and page number of the Federal Law do you suppose it is?
I have already shown a case in which the court stated that a child born in the USA to an illegal immigrant is a Natural Born US citizen. Here it is again:

Are you asking whether it is legal to deport a US citizen? If so, you should know that the Wong Kim Ark case ruled that the government does not have the right to deport a US citizen.

In the two or three postings above, I responded to questions. The were whether a child born of an illegal immigrant is a Natural Born Citizen. I showed that she or he is. It seems a reasonable thing to to do to answer questions. There were other postings on this page that claimed that Obama’s birth certificate was “forged.” I responded, showing proof that it wasn’t. Another claimed that he had become a citizen of Indonesia. I responded, showing that he didn’t—and how you can check for yourself. Still another claimed that he was not born in Hawaii; I showed proof that he was. Still another claimed that he was born in Kenya. i showed proof that he wasn’t.
Why did I do this? Because it is always a good thing for people to see the facts. Perhaps there will be a rational person who visits this site and desires to see the facts.

What action are you referring to? I like Obamacare. I do not like the fact that he did not close Guantanamo as he promised. The sequester was not a brilliant move, but what else could he have done at the time?
