Blame A Society In Decay, NOT Guns

Gun SC Blame a Society in Decay, NOT Guns

In the majority of the mass killings that have happened over the past few years (five on Obama’s watch), the Liberals/Communists are quick to blame the guns used and push for more gun control.

I beg to differ with their point of view. We have become a society of watchers and followers and not the primary teachers of our children. We are encouraged to constantly praise our kids and not humiliate them in front of others. Tim- outs have replaced grounding and a good old-fashioned paddle on the butt. We as a society have become so wrapped up in basic survival due to a Liberal-dominated economy that our kids are now babysat by uncensored blood-and-guts video games, high-paid, Liberal, union-label teachers, and absolute filth coming across the TV (otherwise known as an electronic income reducer).

Our kids have become social zombies in an ever-changing world. They are not taught critical thinking or coping skills. They are not taught anything about faith or freedom. They are only taught how to play “follow the leader”. Well, how is that working out for us? Innocent people are getting killed.

As for guns, the establishment  run by the Liberals/Communists is 100 percent responsible for these mass murders. They have taken away parental rights to properly raise our children in an effort to take our 2nd Amendment rights away. An armed population is a free people; an unarmed population is a subject of the state.

If our Communist leaders want to blame guns for these murders, why not blame knives as well? Why not blame cars for drunk driving deaths? Why not blame eating utensils for obesity? Does this sound far-fetched? Unfortunately, it is the mindset of these Liberal/Communist leaders who live in their glass bubbles. It is way past time that we the people put the blame where it is due, directly on the backs of the people who think they know what’s best for our kids.

We must take the responsibility to stand up and say “no more” and raise our own children minus the outside influences. It is our duty to rebuild our society as our founders have set it up. As always, my fellow Patriots, stay safe and be aware of your surroundings.

  1. Horribly sad and pathetic. But the reality is that guns are here and will always be. To play the blame game we may as well go after the Chinese for inventing gun powder.

  2. The liberals pretend to believe in a fantasy: that if we surrender our right to bear arms, we won’t ever have to deal with a deranged madman like Lanza, nor with a deranged and tyrannical government.

This “offer” of low-cost tranquility and supposed safety has zero credibility.

  3. The founding fathers knew that a society that denied God was in peril, they knew that morality and knowledge were the very things that gave this Republic the spine to stay and prosper, to become the beacon of light for all others to see.
The administration by the Fraud in the WH is just the latest assault by heathen tactics to remove the moral compass and preach the states edicts under the guise of progressivism, another word for communism and truly a evil tool used by the criminal element to sustain their power…..

Should the taxpayers and voters move to remove the entitlements, risky policies and a tax system that is anything but moral or fair, then you will see the left collapse, if you cut off it’s money supply and they cannot continue to milk the voting public by various taxes, fees and fraud, then they cannot survive.. We are under assault by a series of money laundering schemes designed to keep the left in power and representation away from the taxpayers…time to put a stop to this nonsense.

  4. In the world we live in we need to protect ourselves and our families. It is evident – if one looks – to see that in the inner cities people are turning fer rel and are running in packs. I blame to economy, and the fact that people cannot differentiate between right and wrong. Our Education system imploded and crashed in the 70′s – we only have ourselves to blame, then and now. Enough said.

  5. Children are no longer taught respect…respect for others, respect for their elders, respect for other peoples’ property or respect for human life. I wonder how much violent video games have a negative effect on children (or adults) who may tend to be somewhat mentally challenged. I can’t imagine that a steady diet of such violence and horror perpetrated on victims in these games doesn’t tend to influence a susceptible child’s thinking and value system. Criminals and individuals such as the Sandy Hook shooter will always be able to find the weapons necessary to do their deeds. Taking guns away from law-abiding citizens, leaving them defenseless against criminals is not the answer. More officials with CCWs, properly trained to protect those under their supervision, may be more effective than anything else. Also, prosecution of law breakers needs to be stronger, as liberal judges have diluted the threat of imprisonment with their weak and indecisive sentencing. And, of course, the influence of illegal drugs is certainly huge in the search for why these horrible events take place. There is no help from this “government” as they ignore most travesties in their liberal fashion. The law-breakers are slowly taking over, and we see no effort to stop them.

  6. I don’t know who to blame first. We as a nation have all become so materialistic and greedy. We allow our children to be raised in day care centers like a pack of puppies. Who’s going to teach them compassion, moral values, and human decency? Moms used to do that. They grow up morally deficient and become a menace to society. The government long ago banned teachers from using discipline and classrooms have become uncontrollable in some places. The government has meddled into all areas of child rearing and education which has had disastrous results as we are now witnessing. There has to be a consequence for a person’s actions. We used to be taught that by both parents and teachers, no more. The use of the term racist and harping on discrimination constantly has disrupted our schools, destroyed any kind of conduct control and encouraged bad behavior. I live in a predominately white area and this is evident here so I’m not pointing a finger at blacks. The laws that have been enacted due to black pressure are the same laws we live by and has been the downfall of all schools as far as keeping law and order in them. So, now they want to take away guns? Who are they kidding? We need them more than ever thanks to them. Let’s start teaching kids right from wrong again.
I grew up in the old days, 50s-60s, our teachers and principal ruled the school and we knew it. We behaved and stayed in our place. It was a different time I know, the world has changed but that’s no reason to throw out common horse sense.

    • Unhpywithdc, you have summed this up so nicely that I have little to add. Our schools and homes are failing and the result is the youth that have no empathy for anyone else. Turn off the televisions, take away the video games and get out Monopoly. Spend time with your children instead of finding a way to keep them quiet so the parents can watch “their” shows. Let’s go back to teaching right from wrong, consequences, working and contributing, etc. I also grew up in the 50-60″s and we were expected to show respect for our parents, teachers, elders and even strangers. And we were taught these things by our parents. My parents used to tell me that God gave children padded bottoms so that discipline could be punctuated. (And I’m not referring to abuse.) I never suffered from the few spankings that I got when talking didn’t work but I knew that they were serious. I sometimes say that I didn’t ever get into trouble because I was afraid of the consequences. A little fear of repercussions is a good thing. We need to stop being afraid of our children and start helping them to become responsible citizens.

      • I was raised very much like you TFgrammie, spankings and all. I agree that they were a learning experience. Spankings were not a physical abuse, they were a real message about what is right and what is wrong. There was no confusion, no ambiguity about why I was being spanked or punished – I was being taught that I had demonstrated some improper behavior, and I was being corrected. I believe that without this corporal punishment today, our kids are not really learning the differenceof right and wrong; nor are they learning that there are consequences for wrong behavior.

  7. Maybe these shootings are NOT so senseless afterall…

ONE THING is for certain: ALL these current day mass killers are young, immature and sick! From Columbine to Virginia Tech to the movie theater assault to yesterday’s school massacre – all the shooters/murders were under 25!!

These killers are the product of today’s society. Look at our permissive and suggestive movies, games, parents, television shows….. look at our leadership – look inside yourselves! There is NO accountability from the top down. Even the justice department gets away with murder, ie. Eric Holder and the “Fast & Furious” Operation, and the Army Major at Ft. Hood. Someone like Tim Geightner, our Secretary of the Treasury, gets appointed to the President’s cabinet even after admitting to TAX FRAUD! What example do you think this conveys to our children? How long can we, as a society, continue to reward dishonesty, thievery, greed, corruption, incompetence and expect better from our children, the next generation?

Our kids see that there is no accountability at the highest levels – and believe that they won’t be held accountable either!

    • I agree with you, but sadly the mental midgets on the socialist/democratic left will never admit their responsiblity for the results of the programs they shoved down America’s throats. Admitting they might possibly be wrong, or saying “I’m sorry” is just illogical to them. They are perfect all knowing entities and are the keepers of all things known to man or the universe.

  8. Yes Tim, you and very few others see the bigger picture. Kudos on this article.

    • I also wanted to mention “group think”. This is what our schools are turning out. I have a step son who is genius IQ, and he makes his teachers look like monkeys. His mother was told the “boy needs to get back in the box”. This is all by design, not due to lack of funds or teachers. Ii is truly a conspiracy to dumb down the population for the planned NWO collective feudal system. Why do you think they’re promoting Islam? It’s a fascist ideology, in the guise of religion, they will use for law.

  9. “Society in a state of decay” means mankind is in a state of decay. Society doesn’t stand alone without people. As long as men and women are in a state of decay, they should be denied weapons that could be used to harm others — chief among these weapons is guns.

  10. Like anyone with a political agenda, Mr. Powers here has taken a complicated and multifactored issue and boiled it down to a single place to lay blame – the Liberals. I’m honestly glad I was sitting down, because it couldn’t possibly be anyone else’s fault. It couldn’t be the fault of the conservatives, who have tried to shove “traditional” family values down everyone else’s throats, who also cut the funding to mental institutions and social programs. It couldn’t possibly be the fault of the common citizen who refuses to think critically and only listens to either Fox or MSNBC for them to decide which way to vote as opposed to thinking for themselves. It couldn’t possibly be the fault of the rich elite class that gambled away the financial stability in this country which only leads to a myrad of problems. It couldn’t possibly be the fault of Mr Powers, who instead of being a socially responsible author and seek to highlight the true issues at hand and offer real world solutions to those problems, instead seeks to cause a further rift in society by labelling the “other side” as Liberals and Communists – lead by the great black evil Obama. The only thing this guy got right is that we must take responsibility and say no more – no more to the political mouth pieces seeking to maintain the rifts in our society. No more continuing to “talk down” to the public by simplifying a complicated issue into a single – Blame them – issue. No more using the deaths of innocent children to further a political agenda.

  11. SITUATION:  I’m not going to beat a dead horse, we all know the sit.  FYI the solutions have been with us for quite awhile albeit suppressed by “The Three Amigos,” i.e. psychiatry, psychology, and psychoanalysis.  I’m talking, of course, about Scientology.  I’m a 67yr old Marine Corp, Vietnam Vet 66-67, who was very violent, thought I was going to go off any second and take alot of people with me.  Drugs didn’t help, did 4 drug programs, couldn’t stop.  Back in 73 I did one course in Scientology called the “Communications Course.”  It cost me $50.00, I finished, stopped drugging, stopped being violent, started enjoying life, and started trusting myself and others. This is my heads-up, something can be done about it!
