I don’t understand how any born again believer in Christ, could be in the Democrat Party. But then again, I am very unhappy with the Republican Party for running the liberal, Mitt Romney, who might as well be in the Democrat Party. And many born again believers in Christ that are in the Republican Party are getting set to vote for Romney.
This is why I am an independent voter. I am not in a party. And I say that we Christian conservatives need to send the Republican Party a loud collective voice by sitting this presidential election out, a voice that says until they run someone worthy of our vote, we won’t vote for their party’s candidate either.
Perhaps if the Republican Party has a low turnout for their liberal candidate, next time they will run someone worthy of a Christian’s vote. That is when we would see true good change in this country. In the mean time, let’s try to get some true conservatives in congress, so that no matter what liberal wins the White House in November, he won’t get away with much.

I don’t know if you’ve seen any of my comments recently, but I am sick and tired of someone telling me that my choice of whether I vote or not (as well as which third-party candidate I do vote for if indeed I do vote) is not wise enough for them. Conservatives claim they believe in individual liberty, but they don’t embrace it as a matter of principle (at least when it comes to those who act all elitist on people like you and me who think for ourselves.) I believe that one of the many things God blessed people like you and I with is the ability to think for ourselves.

The self-righteousness of “independents” or “libertarians” or just someone who doesn’t like the candidate really makes me sick. This is the most important election of our lifetime. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that not voting IS voting. So Romney isn’t “your candidate”. You are still going to have live with the results. You like living under the Obama Regime better? Yeah., you have the “freedom” not to vote. But it sure is a shame that the right to vote is wasted on people who don’t even have the ability to understand what’s at stake.

First of all your wrong about his raising taxes in Mass he did not do that. He did raise fees for things like marriage licenses , auto tags that kind of things but they needed to be raised. He did not increase spending he started out with a 3 billion dollar deficit and ended leaving the state 2 billion dollars in the black. Bain capital after he left owned stocks in those companies and as soon as they found out they dumped them . His plan for Mass was a state run healthcare plan but it was totally funded differently , look it up . then Obamacare. I would surley be skeptical of a religion whose prophet married a 9-year-old girl. All Evil needs to win is for Christians to sit and do nothing. Obama’s administration in the form of HHS has directly attacked our Christian Religious Freedom, specifically the Catholic first but don’t think that all Christian Denominations will not be next. What Deborah seems to have an issue with is the idea that it is the notion that we have to vote for the establishment candidate, (Romney), or give up our right to vote.
Sure, a divided vote will likely result in a loss of the Republican party’s presidential candidate. That happened with the Republican’s establishment candidate the last election cycle. Maybe what we need is for a massive Red-shift to independence. What I’ve read from the links you provided has given no direct support to your contention that Hitler was the “lesser of two evils.” Hitler is cited as drawing on the “higher criticisms” of the time, which questioned the authority and integrity of the scriptures. This devaluation of scriptures, in turn, allowed apostate theologies and a new “Faith Movement” to emerge, where old pre-Christian ideas and ideals to re-emerged; Jesus was re-invented into a Jew hating Aryan, of all things! No. What I read gives the impression that Hitler was the popular man of the hour (polled at 85% approval, just after being given complete power in Germany) , with real “hope and change” for the average guy. He wasn’t the lessor of two evils, according to the references I just read.

Ron doesn’t do well in debates where he isn’t allowed to expand on issues. He talks over the heads of those that don’t know him and followed him for a couple decades. I’m a Republican, not because of party, but because I believe in the Republican form of government and I don’t have a problem with the platform, if they follow it. Where the problems exist, is in the RNC. The candidate we elected for the Senate, in the MO primary, made a slip of the tongue on some leftists program, and wasn’t allowed to expand on it. He apologized for it, but the RNC threw him under the bus and treated him like a leper, as well as cutting off the funds he was supposed to get. They wanted to go around the voters of MO, and put in the candidate of their choice, but he stayed in the race and we are counting on him to take down McCaskill Nov. 6. I have very little money to give candidates, but what little I can donate, I will do it directly, rather than filtering it through the RNC. I wised up in 1990 and wrote a letter to the Chairman and told him I would not send them any money, as long as they funded candidates that voted for issues I was 100% against, but more than that, they voted for ever gun control bill that was put in front of them. I’m proud of the fact that we took down 56 of the worst offenders of our gun rights, in the 1994 election. At that time, I had to do all my writing on an old IBM ball writer and send it snail mail.
I agree with you jag57 but a vote for an independant will likely put Obama back in. I don’t favor Romney either. I don’t think there that much difference between him and BHO. But in order to get rid of Obama we have to put Republicans into both houses. Hopefully we can get enough true conservatives running on the republican ticket into The White House to hold Romney in check.

I’m not an American. I often visit family in California. I follow websites like westernjournalism.com, foxnews, jpost.com (Jerusalem Post), The Washington Times, Glenn Beck and many other trustworthy websites.
I believe, that though Romney is a mormon, he is on the right side of the road. For example: his view of the position of Israel is very important. He doesn’t believe in a (stupid) two state solution, he reckons Jerusalem as the only capital of Israel and strongly supports the jewish people. Many name-christians and some progressive jews here in Europe too, are as left as many of your democrats and support Obama alas.
Obama, as young boy living in Indonesia as Barry Soetoro with his mother Ann Dunham and stepfather, has an obscure and contradictory history explanation of his birth. On the one hand he was born in Kenya as son of Ann Durham and Barak Obama I (a British-Kenyan student in Hawaii) according to his first biography (perhaps written by marxist/anarchist Bill Ayers who helped him as foreign student to Harvard?) and otherwise his socalled Hawaiian birthcertificate is fabricated (even the layers were there still in Obama’s forgery document on his website; obvious for ict pundits). Perhaps a explainable reason could also be that he is the son of marxist/activist Frank Marshall Davis (does have very much biological in common with Davis and not with Obama I and has also much in common with the other daughter of Davis; read the New York Bestseller “Dreams from my REAL father” by Joel Gilbert or his dvd.). Believe me, that the main stream media is withholding this to support the democratic party and Obama. But soon will come to the light that FORGERY GATE is real and that’s why it’s mayday for America. Personally I am very very worried about it. The only way is to vote for Mitt Romney, a conscious and honest and economical experienced man. By not voting you make the democratic party stronger mathematically seen, that’s obvious. This could be the most serious case in American political history. Clinton’s lie was very serious in front of the world on tv (I never had a sexual relation with that woman…), but this is much more serious.
So jews, christians (black or white or brown) vote for Romney to get this dangerous presidential candidate for America and the west out of office. That’s the only effective and practical option you have there on the other side of the ocean.
I am amazed by the kind of what I would call “Choice of Wilful Ignorance” displayed here about both Obama and Romney.
The truth is we find ourselves between a rock and a hard place. Romney is Marmon Mormonism is a Cult infarct Rick Santorum once called Romney and Mormon a dangerous cult. Just look at their beliefs, the kind of mission work Romney himself was involved in overseas. Biblically Antichrist is the definition of Cultic operations. they hide, pretend to be like Christ but are far from Him and against Him. Romney is the Most Dangerous person to the Christian faith. Angel of darkness appearing as an Angel of light (2nd Cor 11:14..), Masquerading like a godly man but yet denies Christ, very deceptive and secretive group of people that the Bible say we should not even shake our hands with or even eat with 1st Cor 5 ans 2nd Peter 2 and yet that is the guy you guys are suggesting should get my vote. NO WAY. On the other hand, Obama is called all sorts of names even though he confesses to Christ. He is supporting the most abominable behaviour (Homosexuality) and yet we call him Muslim. Which Muslim supports Homosexuality and Abortion? Never! Those two things are criminal acts punishable by death. I have lived among Muslims for years in Afghanistan, Kuwait, Iraq and Egypt on my Military assignments, You are physically unsafe with them but Spiritual safe around them. Those two behaviours disqualifies him as a Muslim. In My view Obama is a “Christian”. But the kind of Christian we see around here in the US, they do all sorts of things, from immorality, to drunkenness, to homosexuality, to divorce, to Sorcery in the name of (Psychic intelligence) to gambling, to distortion, to pornography. never in history have we seen such a group of the so called Christians who are far removed from the Bible and Faith in God like we see today, Obama is a replica of how the majority of Churches and Christians in the US really looks like in their closet (Parents paying for abortion of their daughters, Single people leaving together before marriage, no shame for giving birth outside wedlock, our two minute Moment of prayer instead of a lifestyle, love of money, you name it), That’s what we see in Obama, He just says it openly.
I’d rather vote anyone else but please didn’t tell me about an enemy of Christ like Romney who was a cultic missionary the Most dangerous Man in American Political History.
This hateful man should keep his values to himself. He forgets that that same overbearing religious moralistic attitude which he now spews like acidulous vomit from his foul mouth is the same that was used by “Christian” segregationists to enslave his ancestors. How so quickly people forget when they have grown fat off of the tax-free alms and have warmed up to lofty pulpits, that once they too were oppressed under other peoples personal “moral” grounds. He calls upon different races of people to leave the Democratic party except the majority race and atheists. He is pretty much saying all you need to understand morality is to believe in anything supernatural, even fairies and hobbits – just don’t be a atheist, an agnostic, a critical and fair person. Just don’t be libertarian and embrace authoritarianism. It’s ironic, in more ways than one. The greatest bondage of all is the bondage of the mind.
It is between a believer and God whether or how to vote. If you believe that loving your neighbor includes participation in politics, then the question becomes how to vote. As Christians, we must pray and humble ourselves before God and vote in His strength and wisdom, not our own. If a political party clearly supports a moral evil, how can we not oppose it?
