Fox News personality Bill O’Reilly has earned good or excellent job performance rankings from a majority of Americans – but only because Republicans and independents have high levels of support for him and overwhelm a strident negative opinion from self-identified Democrats.
The results come from a new scientific telephone survey of nearly l,100 respondents conducted Aug. 20-22 with a margin of error of plus or minus 2.93 percentage points. It was done by Wenzel Strategies.
The poll indicated that more than 52 percent of Americans describe O’Reilly’s work as either good or excellent, based on the 71 percent of the self-identified members of the GOP
put him in that category.
Some 48 percent of independents agreed, but only 13 percent of the Democrats ranked O’Reilly’s work as excellent. Another 22.8 percent said his work was good.
The members of the Democratic Party, instead, said by a 56 percent majority that his work was only fair or poor.

He is very patient when interviewing liberals. He rudely interrupts most conservatives on his show. One could conclude that he tends to favor liberals. I hope this is not true.
He sure favored Hoffa in his horrific speech blasting tea party people, saying a war must be made upon them, to kill if necessary…Oreilly only gave the first part of the speech!! MANAGED news!!

I heard him outright lie about Obama's CT social security number. He said that Obama's father got it for him in 1977 when Sr. had been back in Kenya since 1965. And when they couldn't "spin" that lie, they scrubbed it from the podcast and O'Lielly went missing for several days. He proved himself to be the pompous jerk I always thought he was.

I'm a Republican and O'Reilly is a Charlatan… He bends with the polls and is deceptive… I don't blame the Dems for disliking him but am surprised that so many Republicans buy in to his BS. He was for the Public Option… He says Obama is a certified citizen. Then turns around and says "just lookin' out for the folks" What a routine! What does that tell you? He is good at covering it up… I listened for three years before I finally figured it out. Maybe in time some will wake up to his charade. I do wonder how many of those Republicans call themselves conservatives. Because I am a Republican but conservative first no matter what direction the Republican Party vacillates.
The same outfit should do the same poll but ask one other question: Do you support the tea party?
O'REILEY HAS LIED ABOUT THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE FROM THE START AND CONTINUED TO LIE TO COVER UP LIES. HE STARTED BY SAYING HE HAD SEEN THE B.C. KNOWING NO ONE HAS SEEN THE REAL ONE AND HAS CONTINUES HIS DECEPTION BY NOT COVERING ANY OF THE FACTS THAT HAVE COME OUT THAT IT IS A FORGERY AND HAS NEVER REPORTED ON THE STOLEN SS# OR THE TAX FRAUD IN CHICAGO THAT DON'T SOUND FAIR AND BALANCED TO ME SOUNDS LIKE A SELF CENTERED LIAR TO ME.
I for one believe that O'Reilly is a "closet liberal." He seems to take Obama's part much to often. He is always saying, "I'll give the president a pass on that." The only reason he doesn't admit to being a liberal is that there would be no more O'Reilly Factor.

I don't think O'Reilly is Liberal – I think he's gutless and spineless. He had an opportunity during his interview with Obama to call him out on any number of issues without even touching on eligibility and he came across like a male Barbara Walters. There were serious policy differences that O'Reilly had mentioned ad nauseum regarding Obama, but when it came time for tough questions we got melted marshmallows, instead. We were led to believe that the interview would be no-holds barred, but it was more fake than professional wrestling. And Bill has had a soft spot since then for Obama. If O'Reilly disagrees with the man, he should make that clear.
I have watched O'Reilly for several years & liked him compared with others, however the last year or two he has become more of a wimp with people who need tough questions, & more biased. He has also gotten worse about interupting & talking over the person being interviewed. He sure has wimped out over Obamas Birth Certificate, so I have lost a lot of respect for him. Mabey it isn't his fault, mabey he was told by his bosses to ease up, like the rest of the Media, I don't know. I had to laugh at his Birth Certificate investigation. His proof was an AD in the Hawaiian paper, announcing Obamas Birth. What a joke.It is a real shame, there isn't one journalis out there will enough guts to tell it like it really is in regard to Obama, but I guess that will never happen. God help us, because no one else will.
Maybe If Bill Oreilly Has Made Enough Money, Fox Put "Miller Time" In His Spot, Because We Can At Least Laugh. God Bless America And The Tea Party Patriots.
