According to the statistics gathered, but hidden, by their beloved government, guns are used by law-abiding citizens in justifiable self-defense (to stop or prevent a crime) about 2.5 million times per year in the US.
In the vast majority of cases, no shots are fired. The mere display of the means of self-defense prompts the criminal to turn tail and run.
In the minority of cases where shots are fired, those citizens kill several times more criminals per year than the police.
Despite the fact that citizens shoot and kill significantly more criminals than the police, you are approximately 5.5 times MORE likely to be accidentally/mistakenly shot by the police than by a citizen defending himself (unless, of course, you are actually the criminal).
Lawful use of guns saves FAR more lives each year than the unlawful use of guns by criminals and psychopaths. (At least 65x more!)
Every state that has enacted “shall issue” concealed carry laws, which allow citizens to carry after passing a background check, has seen crime in general, and violent crime in particular, drop dramatically.
Places with the most prohibitions on self-defense (Chicago, LA, DC, etc.) have FAR more violent crime than areas where it’s known that citizens have the right to self-defense and the means to enforce that right.
Those are the IRREFUTABLE FACTS that the government and its media propaganda machine don’t want the public to know.
This would all be good information if the safety of the citizens was really the issue. Obamacommie and his butt buddies need to disarm us so they may have the privilage of killing us. We may need the criminals to have guns to sell to us.
Biden needs to carry No-Doze with him, especially during Obama’s rambling, non sensible, speeches! Poor guy was fighting to stay awake during Bozo’s address to the Nation.

I was always told ignorance and/or stupidity was no excuse…. In that case, I have to say, there is no excuse known to man for Joe Biden.
The big picture here is that while they are saying they don’t want to take all the guns, they are trying to set a precedent by selecting certain guns now…next thing, they’ll pick another type, then another…eventually, all guns will be illegal and confiscated from the citizens.
As far as ‘legitimate news media’, that’s something that doesn’t exist. The big networks are either funded by or controlled by the leftists, which simply stated means that they have the clout to make sure what stories are reported or not, and how the narrative is given. Personally, I’m a FOX news lover…they don’t candy-coat it and they give you the whole story, allowing people to make their own conclusions.
Biden is simply a monkey-see, monkey-do entity…he lacks the capability to form a common sense opinion nor to even express an opinion intelligently. Beam me up, Scotty…no intelligent life form in Washington DC…:)
Yes guns are good for self-protection and hunting etc. But the main reason the founders came up with the 2nd Amendment is for Tyranny in government. Let’s quit pushing all these other reasons to the government of why we will not give up our guns, and hit those in government of why, if they want our guns they will have to come and get them themselves as we will not turn them in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Joe Biden is the original Washington dumb ass. He makes mentally challenged people look like Rhodes Scholars. First off and the most blatent of his stupid statements is thinking the 2nd. Amendment has something to do with shotguns or hunting…..wrong again stupid!
The 2nd.Amendment is a Right that prohibits the government from denying citizens the ability to challenge oru government when it becomes a tyrannical entity and refuses to honor the prohibitions of governmental power and becomes it’s own machine to deny the freedoms known to the general public and protections of the Constitution itself. “But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, persuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security”…..Thomas Jefferson, Declaration of Independence. This is the meaning and intent of having “firearms of the like of the Military”, NOT TO HUNT DUCKS! Joe Biden declares himself a Professor of the Constituton. Clearly he hasn’t the slightest idea what the Constitution says, what is contained in it or most likely how to spell Constitution!

Obama made sure the MSM was bought and paid for during his first campaign in 2008. They played off of “the first black President” scenario along with his Liberalism and hatred of President Bush. Obama made it clear to the MSM that they would be given preference in access to him in interviews, press conferences and in the White House. It doesn’t take a PHD to see how quickly he sold his access and in the process started his “War on Fox News” Hell, Major Garrett head of Fox News in Washington, saw the “writing on the wall” and bailed out of Fox for CBS, in order to get a political news story. Obama only gives coverage to those who don’t ask tough questions and push the Obama Slant in news reporting.
The reason why Benghazi and Fast and Furious have so many unanswered questions is because none of the News outlets that have access to the President have the balls to ask tough questions is (1) ..they fear being cut off by the White House Communications Department, and (2)…they are all Liberals and supported by George Soros payments.
Obama should have had legitimate Articles of Impeachment filed but the House of Representatives members knows the press will not report it or will distort so badly in defense of the worst President in American history.
ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, PBS, MSNBC and now Al Jazeera are well compensated for all of the positive press and advancing whatever narrative the Obama pushes on them.
History has shown that in order to dominate a country a tyrant must first control the media, then must disarm he common public through limiting sales of guns and ammo, registration of guns and owners and finally confiscation of firearms. Obama owns the press, is limiting access to ammo, Homeland Security has put out purchase orders for 1.7 BILLION rounds of ammo thereby drying up he source, and is doing all it can to turn the public against commonly owned fireams sed for self defense. Finally, Obama has shown a total disregard for the rulings of the Courts, Appeals Court and Supreme Court and the Constitution and its Bill of Rights.
This is the same scenario followed by Hitler in 1930, and the press shakes in fear of even a mention of their similarities and commonalities. The time has nearly passed for he American public, the media of all types and the rest of the world for the tyrannical monster ruling over us. FOR GOD’S SAKE AMERICA…..WAKE UP.!!
