I’ve always advocated for American Blacks to represent themselves on both sides of the aisle in a two-party system- just like other Americans.
I’ve also been a Republican since the (fortunately) failed “high-tech lynching” of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas had me leave being an Independent.
Party affiliation aside, I know neither party places a particularly high priority on what Black citizens like me think.
The same holds true for non-insiders of any color. I’ve long known what it means to be political and Black beyond the Democrat/Republican dynamic.
As an anti-crime activist in Democrat-dominated inner cities, it means watching our chocolate klansman-induced murder rate ignored by politicians whom the victims’ families vote into power without fail- or results.
As a liberty activist, it means being stonewalled on official misconduct complaints by Democrats who feel their prejudice is above reproach because of the “D” behind their names.
It offers an unequaled vantage point where Dem Crow discrimination rampages unchallenged while Black liberals look for cops or White Republicans to conveniently protest.
Black skin is an effective disguise for Americans whose opposition to bigotry is bipartisan. We get to witness astonishing double standards distant White conservatives wouldn’t believe.
The GOP has its cadre of bigots, but at least they know enough to mask bias behind policy and privacy.
Democrat bigots will say things even the most racist Republican wouldn’t be caught dead saying. US Senator Harry Reid’s “Negro dialect” comment about Obama comes to mind.
A White Republican senator saying the same thing would have his resignation letter ready within minutes and even offer to commit hari-kari on the steps of the Heritage Foundation as proof of contrition.
As an American Black, like other independent-minded Americans, I place my individuality above partisanship.
While I think the GOP is better than the Democrat Party, that’s not really saying much. Democrats are a nightmarish collectivist cauldron of socialists, liberal racists, broke-basket cases, and more communist kooks than you can shake a voting machine at.
Any party looks great compared to that montage!
American Blacks who are Democrats or Republicans have an experience neither party can fully grasp, nor are the few Black officeholders on either side able to inject this into policy-making.
Black folks need tax breaks and gun rights support to combat too few marriages and too many thugs in our communities.
I don’t see the Democrats or Republicans floating bills to address either crisis. Black folks need more of our dollars in our pockets to fund fractured families off bipartisan radars set for the middle class only.
Inner-city stakeholders don’t need gun bans disarming them, while small boy units of thugs and larger ones of gangs use them for target practice.
Neither party wants to consider that arming and supporting law abiding Black citizens may be more effective than social (-ist) programs or tourist cops passing through these areas.
Democrats don’t want their Black slaves privately lowering their crime rate because that would put them out of cushy, do-nothing jobs.
Republicans could take this issue and run with it, but who among them is hip enough about Black people to even concede that all of us in the inner-city aren’t criminals?
On lower taxes and pro-gun advocacy for inner-city stakeholders alone, the GOP or some new center-right party could make Black inroads.
Being Black and political beyond the Democrat/Republican dynamic, especially if you’re not liberal, means never subordinating independent effort for indecisive partisanship.
Whether we make the bipartisan system or new parties responsive or not, we still have our hands full privately handling community and national challenges.
While our experience is unique, it still shares much with those of fellow citizens across the board.
In this sense, being political and Black beyond the Democrat/Republican dynamic is simply being American, which is where everyone should be headed!

Well said, but what is really needed for man, Red, Yellow, Black or White or anything between is an awaking to the truth of God’s WORD. If man understood and truly practiced that which Jesus taught in His ministry….. mainly LOVE, FORGIVENENSS and MERCY there would be no need of prisons, no homosexuality, no abortion, no killing, stealing or beatings and most certainly no divorces Many will argue this could never happen and that is true, it can never happen in a world where man choses to embrace the sins of their fathers.
Sadly, many do strive to embrace Jesus’ teachings of love but only towards a select few and not the brotherly love that Jesus taught, they and the non-Christians are seekers of the riches of this world and not the seekers of hearts of those that are lost and dying without the saving GRACE of our LORD Jesus. They think that God will over look some discretions such as supporting those that embrace the abominations of abortion and homosexuality as long as they confess a love for Jesus… They have no real understanding as to just how Holy and Righteous God is and how He desires the same for us. They are takers or consumers of all that they can get, rather than truly God fearing Christians. My guess is that many of them will cry out to God on Judgment Day that they didn’t know or understand all of this… they will realize all of this on that day but on that day it will be to late.

The only thing that gets me is the fact that ALL dems voted against Lincolns emancipation of slaves. AND Gen Bedford Forrest was the founder of the KKK. Why the hell would blacks now vote for those who would keep them in slavery. ?????
I know what you mean. I think a lot of the black community think that just because they are not in chains they are not enslaved. Well, they’re economically enslaved as all of us are. Liberal supporters don’t realize the fact that even though they are not in chains right now, it doesn’t mean they won’t be in chains some time in the near future. We all face enslavement like FEMA camps and working for the government for nothing. And they’ll slaughter us if we don’t cooperate. That’s why we can’t give up our guns/self-defense.
Blackhawk; We (blacks) keep voting for Dems for the same reason we think Islam is the natural religion of black people and that no Arab is a racist; despite the fact that the Arab slave trade was at least 10 times worst for Africans than that of the white man. We believe these things because of the heavy influence of the Black Liberation Theology cult. It has caused us to ignore many facts and believe many lies. I believe Obama’s also follows this cult. With the high rate of single mother’s, trying to raise multiple black children, the black father’s need to either assume more responsibility in raising their children, or they need to visit a Urologist, and get a vasectomy, paid for by our Administration. According to Google, 13% of America’s population is black, yet they represent 67% of the homicides, most of which are black on black murders.
I have little doubt that drugs, and gangs are not the cause of most if not all of those murder’s, that occur among the black population, in our country. Obama having grown up in a privileged white family was not exposed to that kind of difficult life style, yet he had his own dragon’s to slay, like having been abandoned by his father, assuming that Barack Senior was indeed his father, and it was not Frank Marshall Davis.
As Obama begins to age, Obama is beginning to develop that same pock marks as Frank Marshall Davis had prior to his death, yet Barack Senior had a very clear complexion, could it be possible that Marshall was indeed the sperm donor, I think that is indeed quite possible. The truth could be easily established through DMA since we do know where both men are buried. Then again, that will never happen, since this Administration needs to keep us all in the dark, since if the day of light was ever shone on Obama’s Occidental and or Harvard school records, that Justice Kegan helped to bury, this nightmare would be brought to an abrupt end.
Then again, the similarity that Obama Jr; had with most black’s, is that his father had also left his mother, as unfortunately many black men tend to do in our country. That might very well explain why Obama similar to many blacks, that live in the inner city use drugs, as did Obama as well. The major difference being that Obama did not have to revert to crime to support his drug habit, as many inner city blacks, obviously have to do.
Instead of Andrew Como, the New York Governor, and Obama, attacking the 2nd Amendment to try and reduce the extremely high murder rate, in mostly Democratic controlled states,they might focus their, and the attention of the Democratic Members of Congress, on the real issues that create such a high murder rate, and that is the insane demand on illegal drugs, that are consumed in this country
Senator Diane Feinstein would serve the people of Northern California better, as would Senator Barbara Boxer, and Nancy Pelosi, by trying to reduce the flow of drugs into high crime rate cities, verses trying to take away the 2nd Amendment rights of all American’s, especially when Oakland California, was just named as one of the most dangerous cities in America to live in, within the United States.
The distinction for the most dangerous city to live in the United States goes to Detroit, and close behind Detroit is St. Louis, followed by New Orleans. There is no doubt that these cities, along with Oakland California have drugs, and gangs, that result in these extremely high murder rates. The majority of high murder rate states al all controlled by Democratic Governors, and they all have the most stringent gun laws in the country, is there a common denominator here, I certainly think so, how about you?
There is also little if any doubt, that the majority if not all of the gun related murders, in those high crime cities, are committed by weapons, that were illegally purchased, or stolen, and as such, establishing a database of legal gun owners, makes as such sense, as trying to fill a pail full of bullet holes, with water.
This Administration has developed a technique, that has worked well for them these past four years, it is to create a conflict greater than the previous conflict, to distract, divert, and to ultimately deceive, the American people. The first major distraction was the Stimulus, followed by the automobile, and banking crises, followed by crises after crises, all of greater magnitude, and importance than the previous crises. The purpose once again is to distract, divert, and to ultimately deceive, the American people from where their real focus should be, which at this time is Benghazi.
A perfect example of that was the hurricane that was named Sandy, when it hit the East Coast, it took a great deal of focus off of what happened at Benghazi. It also helped Obama in the polls, who was prior to the hurricane being pummeled by Governor Mitt Romney in the presidential debates. The next divert, distract, and deceive tactic that came along, was the shooting at Sandy Hook school in Connecticut.
Rohm Emanuel, when he was Obama’s Chief of Staff, coined a phrase, which was, “never let a good crises go to waste,” the Administration learned the importance of doing exactly that, and has never allowed a good crises go to waste, even if they themselves have to help to create one.
No sooner had Secretary of State Hillary Clinton participated in the hearing over Benghazi, which turned out to be a complete joke, and nothing more than a good by party given to Hillary, by all of her loving Democrat Senator’s and Congressmen, the Administration announced that women will now be allowed to go onto the front lines in combat rolls, once again, an effort of the Administration, to take our focus off of where it needs to be, which is the key to ending this nightmare, and that key is Benghazi.
Gabor Zolna – I would vote for the castration of any man that fathered two children and was not providing for the support of his children, Red-Yellow-Black or White, they all should do what is right. Exception is only if there was a sensible excuse. If the father was in prison than after released he would be given a pass for one year to began a reasonable payment to make up for his lack of support. And should there be a third child before the repayment to the mother or state for the missing support, castration with no hesitation. And if there is a single mother with 2 children she would be warned one more child without providing the support from a father she to would be taken care as well and the children removed from the home. Everyone needs to be taught responsibility.

I once knew a 28 year old black man that lived in Lansing, MI. who bragged on having 8 children with 5 women. When I asked how can you afford support for 8 children he said, he didn’t. They were all on government support.
I agree with what you are saying about broken homes, poverty and crime, and the liberals are stupid enough to reward them for their behavior.

Are you kidding me… a black having a vasectomy? My Gosh.. they are afraid of a shot much less getting a vasectomy. That’ll be the last thing they’d get.. Besides that.. no doctor could ever convince them it wouldnt affect their ‘pleasure’… it’d still be the same… but the first 3 to 6 months.. they would have to wear a condom to prevent pregnancy… cause there’s sperm still in there until that time..and they AINT gonna do that.
