Imagine you’re a private citizen; you’ve built up a successful business through years of hard work and enterprise. And now you want to give back, by supporting a candidate for president that shares your views. You can afford to donate a million dollars to the candidate, and so you do. You even take a figurehead role in the campaign, as large donors often do, as a measure of recognition. Then you wake up one day to learn that your entire life and livelihood have been ransacked—just as surely as if identity thieves had stolen your credit card. Only these thieves are employed by a shadow company that, you learn, is employed by the President himself.
It sounds like a cheap premise for a pulp novel.
But it’s not—it’s exactly what just happened to Frank VanderSloot, CEO of an Idaho Falls wellness-products company named Melaleuca. Mr. VanderSloot gave $1 million to Restore Our Future, a Super PAC that supports Mitt Romney.
Soon after making his donation, Mr. VanderSloot discovered that a certain Michael Wolf was trying to dig up court records on Mr. VanderSloot. But not just any records; Mr. Wolf was looking for dirt. He was looking for any documents on Mr. VanderSloot’s past marriages, or past grievances with former employees.
This is where Kim Strassel’s reporting in the Wall Street Journal nailed it. Her investigation revealed that Michael Wolf had sent a number of faxes to the clerk’s office of the Bonneville County Courthouse, trying to find something cheap and tawdry to hang on Mr. VanderSloot.
He failed at that. But not before Ms. Strassel figured out exactly who “Michael Wolf” really was. In his document requests of the court, he listed only his name and a private cellphone number. But he had been, until just a few months prior, a law clerk on the Democratic side of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations. Seeking the more glamorous life, apparently, he then went to work for a company named Fusion GPS—which is in the strategic intelligence business, aka, opposition research, aka dirty tricks.
When Ms. Strassel was finally able to get someone at Fusion GPS to answer the phone, she was met with one “no comment” after another. But clearly someone at Fusion GPS was worried that they could easily be linked with the President, so they sent an email to Ms. Strassel saying:
“Frank VanderSloot is a figure of interest in the debate over civil rights for gay Americans. As his own record on gay issues amply demonstrates, he is a legitimate subject of public records research into his lengthy history of legal disputes.”
The “gay” charge was a total fabrication, a stutter step meant to throw off Ms. Strassel’s attention and presumably that of her readers at a time when the president was taking considerable heat for his flip-flops on the gay agenda: did he support it, did he not; was he himself gay, was he not? The story was changing by the day, by the hour. And throwing out a totally unfounded but salacious comment that a supporter of Romney’s is a gay basher would have exactly the effect intended: deflect attention away from Obama.
Lacking the decency gene, the Obama campaign has kept focus on what matters to them: keeping their and Obama’s job and power.
We think people see Mr. VanderSloot for exactly who he is: someone whose only crime was to donate a million dollars to a Super PAC. He is just another name on the long list of people on Obama’s enemies list.

No surprise. And, IF we don’t get Obama out of office, anybody with any wealth at all will lose it, especially if they were against Obama. And, people better get ready, because the conflict going on in the Middle East is exactly what Obama is looking for to be able to declare martial law. All it will take is one well placed bomb to reek havoc in some city here on our soil, & voila, instant national emergency. And, with his exec orders, he’s given himself complete control over everything, communications, fuel, utilities, food supplies, both public & private, transportation, which means he can commandeer Granny’s car, if he deems it necessary. (Wish they’d take my ’96 pickup!) We need to be prepared for the worst, but pray for the best to happen.
This is what communism brings to our country….no longer free, punished if you don’t agree with the dictator. You democrats/marxists had better figure it out before it’s too late…..this man is not your friend…you will be treated the same as conservatives for speaking your mind or for anything he doesn’t like. Either prepare to knuckle under to the dictator or wake up before November 6!!!
I’m a little nobody who loves her country. I knew enough about Obama not to vote for him the first time. He hates this country. He is nothing but a slimy, crooked Chicago politican. He is more than that, his “Change” was to reduce us to a Third World status and he has been doing a good job at that. Old saying, “if his lips are moving, he is lying”. I hope and pray that he gets a one way ticket back to Chicago or country of is choice.
HE should have a ticket into a Cell w/bread and water for his meals and concrete a slab to sleep on. That is all he deserves, I think that is being pretty damn generous.
None of this should be a surprize to America in any way shape or form. Is this man not a Communist, radical Muslim, ghetto thug unwilling to leave the White House?
The way Obama won the Senate seat in Illinois was to find dirt on his opponents. They either quit or the voters turned against them. One wonders what he found on the Clintons to stop them. The Clinton machine should have been able to mow down Obama in the primary. It’s been reported that their daughter was threatened but whatever it was, Hillary never went after Obama the way they did others that criticized them. Now the Dems can’t find dirt on Romney or Ryan so they’re going after anyone that supports them. Is it Chicago thuggery or Communist KGB tactics?
Both as a Chicago area resident Dem politics is bloodsport and to run against them means character assignation at the least. Anything to win, winning is all that matters.
Nothing to hide nothing to fear. Just shows how sideways this candidate can get. The more he shows the more he will defeat himself. If your a successful business man. Don’t fear the creeper. Support Romney if that is how you feel. I do.
Perhaps Mr. Wolf would like to do some similar digging into the background of Bill Maher, Jeffrey Katzenberg (under investigation for possible bribing of Chinese officials with WH help) and Steven Spielberg (who got his start in Hollywood, according to reports, by pretending to be a VIP on the studio lot). Dirt is dirt, right?
If its Dem dirt it is not worthy of printing and is squashed and never sees the light of the day. Breibart and West Journalism, amongst others are wonderful at printing it but the MSMedia cover it up and it never sees the light of the printed page. Think NYTimes.

I was a Marketing Executive for Melaleuca Company for years, still use and buy their excellent products. I also know and have read much about the goodness of Frank VanderSloot, CEO of the Idaho Falls wellness-products company. Mr. VanderSloot gave $1 million to Restore Our Future, a Super PAC that supports Mitt Romney and over the years, has physically aided by providing temporary shelter in his own personal home, and flown his personal airplane to bail out flooded Katrina victims of the Louisiana Area. Frank is a good and decent man! Obama’s thugs will never find anything bad on him; they need to turn to Obama himself. There they will find a “goldmine”, in my estimation from all I’ve read and I read very widely!

I wrote this to “The Five” on Fox News in response to their show Monday Sept. 17.
You guys are missing the point of what is actually happening. You are fumbling to rationalize what is going on. Bob says if it’s not the trailer (movie) then why are so many other countries demonstrating. The answer to that is Diversion. We who have military training know that the real activity is better achieved with diversions. The Killing of Ambassador Stevens was the goal the rest is a diversion. Well planned. Then You, Eric, Bring up the Obama 2007 video in Cairo and that Obama claims that he will be the one to reach out to Islam. Then you ask how is that working out? Actually For Obama’s intent it is working out real well. You tend to miss the obvious! That is the words of Obama in 2007 was meant for the American people not Islam. So that the American people would place Obama in the position so he could do what he actually planned to do. He meets with the radicals and shows disdain to our ally Israel. Obama has been place in this position by a radical movement to do exactly what is going on. He got rid of those who were keeping the radicals in check. Bush made that mistake by taking out Saddam which freed up Iran and open the door for the Al Qaeda to take control with the Muslim Brotherhood, Notice Obama really doesn’t do anything against Iran but he does take out those who keep the radicals in check. Obama by blaming the Trailer is the plan coming to fruition. It gives him cover of the his actual plan. E.g. The UN Resolution 1618. (Silencing Negative Speech towards Islam) catering to the Muslim moods, is an excuse to go FORWARD. You just don’t see what going forward means. What we are witnessing is exactly what our founding fathers feared would happen if we elected a president who wasn’t 100% loyal to the American Constitution and a president who would have split loyality. That is why the founding fathers place in a specific eligibility clause, That a person to hold the office of the Presidency had to be a “NATURAL BORN CITIZEN”. President Obama is not a natural-born citizen of the United States, as defined by the
United States Supreme Court in Minor v. Happersett, 88 U.S. 162 (1874), The U.S. Constitution provides the requirements for the office of President at Article 2, Section 1, Clause 5:
“No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; Barack Obama is actually a naturalized citizen. It all has to do with loyalty. To be a Natural Born Citizen requires that both parents must be citizens at time of the birth, PERIOD. Please refer to the two following links:
