Pseudo-Christians and non-believers can and will vote any way their conscience dictates, but real Bible-believing Christians are constrained by the message of the Bible in its entirety. The Bible does not allow us to disrespect the office of the president, nor to hate him or any other liberals in the nation, but it also restricts our choices of candidates who defiantly and overtly put forth any political message, legislation, or social change that is in direct defiance to the moral laws of God.
When the President announced that his view of same sex marriage had ‘evolved’, and when he made it clear that he was not going to come against abortion, we were forced like the Apostle Peter to make a choice.
Peter was told to stop proclaiming the gospel in public and to keep his faith in God silent. His reply is clear: “Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.” (Acts 5: 29)
Our reply to the social twists of the day is also clear. We cannot call an activity God calls an abomination, or a sin of perversion, a respectable, acceptable social change for ourselves or our nation. The book of Romans, which brands all homosexual activity as an offense to God, is our Magna Carta and the final word for the direction of our lives.
Homosexuals are making a choice for and about their own lives; and in this nation, they are entitled to do so. In the matter of abortion, the unborn child has no choice at all about whether he/she is allowed to live. It is here where the moral laws of God cannot be suspended without a public outcry and a continual resistance all the way to the very end of this debate. In the interim, we could no more cast our vote for a candidate who believes in abortion than we could throw ourselves over a cliff.
We fear and hold in reverential awe God too much to risk coming to the end of our brief existence and having to answer to the clear admonishment in the following passage of scripture:
And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea. (Lk 9: 42)
Our trust of Barack Obama’s presidency has eroded on its own merits, or the lack of them. We have heard of piles of secret documents and records like the ones Donald Trump offered Obama himself five million dollars to uncover. We have heard of our ambassadors and brave soldiers being refused a cry for help while under attack in Benghazi, Libya. We have heard that we are entering this election cycle with Obama’s request for a second chance while leaving a sixteen trillion dollar debt for our children to deal with. If we could set all these matters aside, the one thing we can’t ever do is defy, deny, or dismiss the clear teachings of our God as it is revealed to us through the scriptures.
No Bible-believing Christian can vote for Barack Obama without assaulting their own conscience and risking falling out of favor with the God who sent his only begotten son to die for our sins. Oddly, we are not doing our Savior any special favors, and we could never pay him back for his gracious sacrifice. We are only walking in compliance with his word which says:
So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, we are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do. (Lk 17: 10)
In the very simplest terms: on the question of Barack Obama versus the Bible, there is (nolo contendere) no contest.

When Christians stand up for the right to life for the unborn and against the perversion of so-called same-sex marriage they are doing the Holy Will of God. If Christians are ashamed of their Lord, Jesus Christ, then He will be ashamed of them before His Father on Judgement Day. If you go to Chruch on Sunday and proclaim that you support Christian values and then turn around on Election Day and vote for candidates who are against Christian values you are betraying Jesus Christ like Judas betrayed Him with a kiss. “The Bible does not allow us to disrespect the office of the president” Absolutely and totally disagree with this statement. The so called “office of the president” is a THING. An inanimate object. No where in God’s Word does He say to have respect for an inanimate object, as in idols. As a matter of fact, He says to NOT do this. I will disrespect any inanimate object I choose to.
Now, for the illegal residing in the oval office, I hate everything he does – emphasis on the action (does), not the person.
You’re missing the point. There is a difference between respect for the Office of The President and respect for the person holding that office. Anyone who has been to a military leadership school will tell you that there are two kinds of respect. The easiest respect is for rank and position. That can be demanded. Respect for the person cannot be demanded. It must be earned and your people do not have to give you that respect. As a leader, if you don’t have that respect, your people will let you down the minute you need them the most.
Wow, I love this article!..and soooo thankful that someone wrote this…I am so encouraged in Christ…I am a Christian who is totally ‘sold-out’ to GOD!! Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior and Soon-Coming King!!! This article is exactly how I feel and think about this election and all issues in life…I haven’t always been so conservative…But when the Holy Spirit convicted me many, many years ago to accept Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and Lord…I surrendered totally..after far too many wrong liberal choices…I might add it took me years to get ‘grounded’ in the Word of God…I was on and off in my zeal for walking with God…I still need to study the Bible more and more each day I live… and I pray daily…all during the day to do God’s Will! I am really burdened by the state of our country…My husband and I intercede daily for our nation..As a retired military man my husband is deeply disturbed at what is coming out of Washington now…the lies..the corruption is unprecedented…We have prayed and prayed for o and his administration since he has been in office…I asked God to give him dreams, visions…anything or anyone that would help him to see that his idealogy simply does NOT line-up with the Holy Bible…God’s Word to live by! He has had 4 years to show what he stands for in his administration and he has done just that!…It is not a ‘pretty picture’ in American now…Socialism growing more and more as o reigns…What a shame to our people…Christian, you are so CORRECT! You are so right. I agree with the article and am re-posting to my friends. The Bible does tell us however, to give Ceasar what is Ceasar’s; pay our taxes, vote, be a part of society. We need to vote according to who’s the best man for the office. Right now there are two choices. Obama or Romney. Obama hates America, He’s a fraud (this will all come out after he is gone), I believe he was sent here to destroy America. But the believers in this country listen to the Word of God, and know the times we are in. They are waking up and will take their country back this election, If God wills it, or then we know by His prophecy what time it really is. We are so close people. He loves us and will never leave us; keep the faith, continue in love, pray and we will see. Cheers!

As far as I know, the only religious group that the President has not done anything to upset them is the Muslims. They must love the way he quotes the Koran so much. It isn’t only Christian communities that are upset but also the Jewish communities. There has been a lot of things that have upset Christians but many will still vote for Obama and his Democrat folowers because they cannot bring themselves to vote for anyone in another party. In the area I live there are many of my fellow Catholics who proudly display their religious lawn statues of Jesus and the Madonna and also proudly display Obama campaign signs. Many of these are in my opinion nothing more than hypocrites. They like to put on a big show but only succeed in showing how phony they are. I also have many Jewish friends. In the 1980s, many of them hated Carter and Mondale and loved Reagan but did they vote for him? Very definitely “NO”! When I would visit them in their neighborhoods in 2008, there were Obama and other Democrat signs proudly displayed on their front lawns. Last year’s events are still fresh in their minds about the way Obama treated Netanyahu and how he tried to throw Israel under the bus and they are very upset about that. Does that change their minds about voting against him? Not in this lifetime. This time I go to those same neighborhoods and see just as many Obama and other Democrat signs on those same front lawns. Many of the Christians and Jews will vote Democrat because they can never bring themselves to vote Republican. They will vote themselves right into another Holocaust and take all of us with them. Another real problem is all the people that don’t vote or waste their vote on useless write-ins or third party candidates. They did just as much to put Obama and his followers in office as the clowns who did vote for them. In the past elections, including the last one, less than 50%, of those eligible, even bothered to vote. A politician’s worse nightmare is if everyone eligible voted. Then they would have to work for their constituents and there is no money in that. Republicans as well as Democrats all get very generous contributions from special interests lobbies. We have the best politicians money can buy. This is the product of apathy and we will soon be paying the price for it when it is too late to do anything about it. To those who don’t vote I have one thing to say. If the day ever comes that the minority of voters have voted all our rights away, don’t come complaining to me. I will have one question. Where were you when there was still time to do something about it? Martial law is just a scare tactic. He doesn’t need it. There will be an election next week and he will win because apathy will play a major part in securing that win and he knows it. The day will come when Obama and his followers will have to answer to a much higher court for their sins. On that day all the money in the world isn’t going to help them. Wake up America. WAKE UP AMERICA. APATHY IS THE GREATEST THREAT TO OUR LIBERTIES AND FREEDOMS! NOT OBAMA!
I noticed in my research that all the states devastated by Hurricane Sandy were gay marriage states. Is this a coincidence? It just happened to be a monster storm, too. Also notice that every time our presidents get up and give a speech about dividing Israel, a major hurricane brews up withing 23 hours. Google “president speeches in the same month and year as “major hurricanes in US”.
God is letting us know that He is still in control. When will the American people get it?
I thought about this the other day. How much God is in control. I also read another article about God coming down upon Sodom and Gomorrah and someone compared some things that happened. My husband was watching TV and noticed how the storm was heading right toward the ‘blue’ states, and it only devastated those in blue when it hit. Awesome how God works, and He is Lord of all. Not to say I like to see people hurting and suffering, but he LOVES Israel, and those that bless them like you say. Cheers!
