Iran Will NEVER Be Able To “Wipe Israel Off The Map”

Iran nuke Iran will NEVER be able to Wipe Israel off the Map

BREAKING NEWS – NEWSFLASH!

I just got word that NO ONE, Iran, Syria, Egypt, or anyone else, will destroy Israel. Think I’m completely nuts? Keep reading as it gets better: God told me so.

In light of all the troubles in the world and all the negative reporting (I, myself, am guilty of this too) I sometimes try to distance myself from political things (which doesn’t work for long). Then I try to be more active, and back and forth. Life is sometimes a roller-coaster, trying to balance being responsible and informed with life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Anyways, I am an unapologetic Christian believer. And with Jesus as my Lord and Savior, when I am lost in myself, my cure is to get lost in His Word. – i.e. spend some time in prayer and reading my Bible.

Well, I’ll get to the point – God knows exactly what is going on, and He told us exactly what is going to happen.

I was reading in the Gospels to get a perspective of “WWJD” (it is more than a bracelet you know… It’s a VERB!), and I came to Matthew Chapter 24 and God just blew my mind.

First, let’s read it together: Matthew 24: 2-36

Did you read it all?

It is easy to compare current events to the text in the scripture. If you can’t readily see it, then please tell me what rock you live under.

It is clearly evident that the end times are a coming, although they may not even happen this century. But WHEN is not important. It is HOW you live in the time that was granted to you that matters – which brings me to what is comforting in this passage.

In verse 34 (the one that all the Atheists and other unbelievers like to quote to show that Jesus himself was a false prophet), because the world did not end during the Apostles’ lifetime, Jesus said:  “this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.” The Greek word used was “γενεά” (or genea), translated 34 times by King James as “generation” (but that is not what it meant. It means “lineage”. You can look it up in any dictionary prior to 1900 and find that definition.)

Two verses later, Jesus said “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father” If He, as the Son, did not know the hour or the day, then how did He know that the people listening would not die until it came to pass? He didn’t – He just said he didn’t; what is wrong here is our translation. He said “Your lineage… will not die.” WOW – what a difference that makes. It was a promise God was making with his Children (i.e. I will not allow you to perish until I return to save you.) Get it?! No one is going to be able to nuke Israel off the map. God won’t allow it. That’s not an allegory or an emotional statement – Jesus said it. He just got finished describing in vivid detail how disastrous the end times are going to be – and then gave a promise.

This promise is one we can all comfort in. This world will not end on its own. We can do a lot of damage to each other, but we will not be able to destroy the planet. We did not create it, and we do not have the authority to destroy it. God may allow us to take it to the brink – but he will give the final blow – and I won’t be here to see it. I am leaving in verse 31, at the trumpet call with the “elect, in the four winds.

If you don’t want be here either and don’t know how to be saved – message me; I’ll walk you through it. You can also just visit Romans 10:9. Or just ask someone – anyone; don’t try and find someone who “looks spiritual” as there are no stereotypes. From the church parking lot to the local skate park or even – GASP-a local bar, you’re still guaranteed one of three great reactions:

1) They don’t know and don’t want to know. You have planted a seed; God will water it through someone else. You’re better than half the people in church already.

2) They don’t know but are intrigued and willing to find out – BOOM – a BOGO on salvation.

3) They do know and have been meaning to talk to you for awhile. Congratulations; you de-shelled a Christian, and they will thank you for it later.

Remember, when the end times talk is getting you down and the news is nothing but bad, be comforted:

“Do not fret because of evil men or be envious of those who do wrong;

for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away.

Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.

Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this.” – Psalms 37:1-5

Rand Paul: Right On Sequester – Wrong On Goldfish

Rand Paul 4 SC Rand Paul: Right on Sequester – Wrong on Goldfish

I don’t know what is more offensive to me – being lied to or being taken for a fool. It’s a tossup; and right now, most of the politicians in Washington are vying for the top spot for doing BOTH of those.

Today, I’m about to add Rand Paul to the list. I personally thought he was better than those tactics; but nope – just did it.

Paul recently went on Fox News and blasted the Department of Defense on the sequester scare (rightfully so) but then continued and highlighted 5.2 million of DoD wasteful spending on a study of democracy and goldfish. Why? Why did he go there?

Maybe some people hear that and think “damn right, wasteful government” and give R. Paul props. I myself think “something doesn’t sound right here“. I’m in the military, and I can assure you there is waste to be cut; but most of it is due to the inefficiency of the large bureaucracy – not overpriced studies. But I’m no expert, so I start digging.

My research is very hard and secretive and takes a long time and lots of skill, but I can train anyone in 10 seconds.

What?! Really, I can – watch this. G-O-O-G-L-E. Yup! Then, of course, you have to read the results. That’s it. The research for this post took about 34 minutes; I timed it.

Anyways, here’s the result:

FACT: Rand Paul is either very uninformed OR deliberately misleading to an uninformed electorate. Pick one. See, I didn’t say lie – that would be an intentional specific mistruth. That would be the department of Obama and Mr. Boehner blaming each other over the Sequester. Remember this song on Saturday morning cartoons: “I’m just a bill, sitting on Capitol Hill”? Well, guess what – 5th grade social studies class will tell you that the Speaker had to put the bill on the floor, then it has to pass a Republican-held House and a Democrat-held Senate, and the President had to sign it. Pretty simple; they ALL are to blame.

But I’m getting sidetracked – I’ll wrap this up. The study is partially paid for by the U.S. Navy Office of Naval Research in cooperation with six other non-government partners; and it’s a four-year study over multiple topics, all within the Department of oceanographic and ecology with Princeton. Rand mentioned ONE study out of 13 published in 2012, not to mention the 34 published in the three years prior. I could not find the specific grant amounts. But just for a hypothetical example, if all patterns were equal and all studies cost the same, that means the “group decision-making experiments on fish, mathematical models and computer simulations project” cost taxpayers $18,500 – roughly.

I’m not arguing the validity of the study (I could, but I won’t). The point is this – Paul is misleading. Where did the rest of that money go? It went to studies on underwater drone development for the purpose of oil clean-up and radioactive leak detection and containment.

Does that make a difference to his point of spending? Yes. This study is not waste. He may not agree with it, but waste is unintentional loss or inefficiency. This would be waste if they paid three different people to do the same study, but that is not the case. He could have even found another $2,000 pentagon toilet seat from 90′s – which was not waste either; it was fraud, and there is a difference. With Coburn’s report of DoD spending, he could have chosen many things. In my opinion, he chose the most the most “outrageous sounding” item to rile up his base. Poor choice.

We as the public need to start calling these politicians out on their blatant misrepresentations because the mainstream media is tainted; they have forgotten how to do their job. MSNBC and FOX might as well be extensions of the Democratic and Republican parties, respectively of course. We The People need to keep our leaders in check; and that means not taking anything anyone says for granted as gospel – and that includes me . Check my sources, and then YOU decide.

Welcome to the new and INFORMED you.

“Breaking News” Reports About Veterans Losing Gun Rights Are Not New

Gun Control SC “Breaking News” Reports About Veterans Losing Gun Rights Are Not New

You may have recently seen this headline. Veterans losing their gun rights is not new, but it should worry you how it’s being done – because you’re next.

Most of the regulations that are in effect began when they were codified by Congress in the Gun Control Act of 1968. Within these regulations, it is illegal for a person to own a firearm that “has been adjudicated as a mental defective or has been committed to any mental institution

When the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act was enacted in 1993, it created the National Instant Check System (NICS). This is the instant federal background check system that verifies that a potential firearm buyer is not restricted from purchasing.

In a continual crusade to collect all records, the NICS Improvement Amendments Act of 2007 (NCISIAA) was passed to further monetize rewards for States that provide information and specific penalties if they do not.

Every State has its own definition of mental capacity, but Federal regulations state in 27 C.F.R. § 478.11 a person shall be deemed mentally defective if a

“determination by a court, board, commission, or other lawful authority that a person, as a result of marked subnormal intelligence, or mental illness, incompetency, condition, or disease: (1) Is a danger to himself or to others; or (2) Lacks the mental capacity to contract or manage his own affairs.”

Manage his own affairs” is the legal lynch pin here. Who get to determine this qualification?  - “Any governing board or agency”. This clearly qualifies the Veterans Affairs (VA), when finding a veteran has diminished mental capacity to manage their benefits, to report such a finding to the NICS, which in turn removes that person’s ability to purchase or own a firearm. The VA does not have to disclose how it came to that determination. Nor do they have to reply to an inquiry or appeal. If a request is not responded to in 365 days, the appeal is automatically denied. In addition, the fiduciary department that is in charge of the oversight has been cited as “completely broken” by the Inspector General in testimony before Congress. The only recourse a veteran has is to file a lawsuit.

When Obama issued his executive actions, they were intended to accomplish two things: 1) Finally once and for all require the states to give the federal government all your personal histories and records. 2) Disarm as many citizens as is possible.  Read over the Executive Actions, then follow along my thought process:

#1 – If you give information to ANY federal agency, the NICS has it.

#2 Gives NICS access to your medical records.

#3 Denies funding to states so they have to comply.

#4 Change the definition of “mentally stable” to fit the most broadly applicable standards.

#14 Further connects gun violence to mental health problems.

#16 The net widens; here enters the “gun in home” argument. Enlist the doctors to tell on you.

#20 Incentive to doctors – i.e. the Fed will pay for your treatments if you comply with #16.

The Center for Disease control has already found that over 25% of Americans suffer from mental illness – sound familiar? All that is needed to be done is to declare that these individuals need to be included in the ‘mentally defective’ definition. Next, further restrict them from RESIDING in a home with a gun. (Remember your doctor’s questions from #16) This will effectively remove 68% of the guns in America.

It’s not over – here’s how they will remove the rest.

It is estimated that 48.5% of the United States population receives benefits in some form from the federal government.  Remember the legal phrase “manage his own affairs” well; if you receive benefits in any fashion and then do not follow the rules of those benefits, which hypothetically could easily soon contain a gun prohibition, you are not managing your affairs. SSA disability – you’re incompetent.  Government housing – no guns on premises. Unemployment, Homeowners Assistance – The list is endless. The VA has given the template on what to do.

The government will not take your rights – it will encourage you to give them away. The key is who controls the money.

The Bible was timelessly accurate in Proverbs 22:7: “The rich ruleth over the poor: and the borrower is servant to him that lendeth”

The breakdown of society in not coming – it has already occurred. We as a Nation gave up our rights before most of us were born, starting back with the “New Deal”. We became reliant on someone other than ourselves for our well being. The time has come for us to reap what we have sown.

While the blame game reigns supreme regarding whose fault the Sequestration is, the real issue is much more disturbing. This is only a cut of $85 billion, a mere 2.3% of our national budget (not that we have one.) We have a $1.3 trillion deficit and are over $16.5 trillion in debt. What does this have to do with gun control? Here’s the ultimate punch line:

You will do as you’re told, or your assistance will be taken away. It’s really that simple. Our food supply cost is artificially high due to ethanol. Our fuel cost is artificially high due to taxes. Our taxes are artificially high to pay for the government programs that we have readily accepted. Now, when we cannot survive , there will only be one entity left to take care of us – the one that caused it all in the first place, our Slavior – the Federal Government.  Remember the old adage: “he who has the money – makes the rules”.

Why are the guns such a problem? Because the 48% that is about to stop getting paid is armed. Draw your own conclusions. If you think this is doomsday rhetoric, then check my sources.

This is not “breaking news” – it is a broken reality.

Why Is Obama Selling Military Assets To An Unstable Egypt?

Obama Appeaser Enemies SC Why Is Obama Selling military assets to an unstable Egypt?

Congress recently struck down an amendment to the debt ceiling extension bill to prohibit the sale of military armament to Egypt by a 79 to 19 vote. The amendment was introduced by Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) in an effort to block all current and remaining sales.

Now – follow the money. The most recent sale was for 125 M1A1 Abrams tank kits at the price of $1.3 billion, approved in August of 2011. These tanks went to Mohamed Morsi of the Muslim Brotherhood. The 24 F-16 fighter jets, approved in October of 2009, was when Hosni Mubarak was still President. For this illustration, we will focus on the tanks. Why did Paul’s block to the sale fail?

There is a bi-partisan alliance being created in Washington, but it’s not what you think. It is their alliance with each other, counting on the ignorance of Americans. They have made agreements of sorts to attack each other in order to pass the buck about what is really going on – and it’s all about the Benjamins.

The fact is we have none. It is no surprise that our nation is broke. Many have warned us, including the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Secretary of Defense, that our “national debt poses the greatest threat to our national security.” Here’s why.

The American government is under contract to buy a certain amount of military hardware. These contracts are with companies like Lockheed Martin, Boeing, General Dynamics, and others. These are multi-year agreements that cannot be broken. I’ll use tanks to highlight the current dilemma with Egypt.

In the 2012 defense appropriations bill, Congress provided an additional $255 million to the Army to buy 42 more tanks that the Army did not need. The money was intended to keep the General Dynamics Land Systems’ production line open in Lima, Ohio.

According to Secretary of the Army, John McHugh, this is still 28 tanks shy of what is need to keep the plant open. It would cost the Army up to $800 million to close and later reopen the plant, which would be less than the $3 billion to keep it open during the same time. The solution – continue to sell the difference.

This is not new. In the past, the way we made up the deficit was to sell them to our allies. It was a win-win. We already have a mutual aid treaty with them by our common membership in NATO; so if they are more armed, it was in our national interest. Plus it gave us the ability to continue to purchase enough military hardware to keep the defense sector thriving.

Here’s the problem: Egypt is not an Ally. They are a mutual partner with whom we have had a good relationship since the Israeli-Egyptian Peace Accord of 1979. We have been selling tanks to Egypt for so long, we now co-op build the Abrams tanks – in Egypt. Specifically, we purchase them from General Dynamics who makes initial parts here, then they are shipped to Egypt for the final parts made there, and then they are assembled.

In 2011, if Congress would have not purchased the extra tanks and sold the remainder, the plant would have shut down. This would have put thousands of people in the unemployment lines during Obama’s re-election – most in Republican districts. The job losses would have looked bad for both the White House and Republicans, so the sale was approved against the recommendations of senior defense officials.

This is a money problem.

The exact thing has just happened again. Except this time, Egypt added a little pressure. The Muslim Brotherhood stated “what was acceptable before the revolution is no longer”, implying that if the US cuts aid, then they would not be so motivated to abide by the peace accord.

Enter now the deal with the devil. Congress caved. Some things cannot be undone – and this is one of them. This may sound like the possibility of a perfect storm. But when we as a Nation begin to negotiate aid with a foreign power via a threat of war, I see it more as an inevitable super-storm.

We have been paying off our enemies for decades, and we are now out of money. Our nation is almost bankrupt; and similar to our own family finances when we do not have enough money, payday advances and bad credit become a very real solution – and a very poor decision made out of financial duress.

Our nation is currently in the same predicament. Our poor defense decisions are only compounding the problem of national security we already had with North Korea, Iran, and China. We no longer are able to stand strong because we are weak, and the world knows it.

If Congress were to have blocked the sale, how do you think the thousands of American workers would feel to be out of a job? It is inevitable; it will get worse before it gets better. The scary part is since we have been subsidizing the problem for the last 10 years, I fear the worst of it has not yet even begun.

Every time we have hit a problem, we have paid our way through it. The bailouts, the stimulus, and quantitative easing have come and gone; and the treasury is running out of ink. This was not an Egypt problem. This was not a defense problem. This is a debt problem that has become a defense problem.

Soon, I fear, it will be everyone’s problem.

Albert Einstein Was More Than A Genius – He Was Wise

Einstein cartoon1 Albert Einstein Was More Than a Genius – He Was Wise

Condemnation without investigation is the height of ignorance.” – Albert Einstein

This cartoon, Einstein takes up the sword – published in 1933 by Brooklyn Eagle, shows Albert Einstein, who has shed his wings (labeled “Non- Resistant Pacifism”) standing next to a pillar labeled “World Peace.” He is rolling up his sleeves and holding a sword labeled “Preparedness.”

Einstein was an outspoken and world renewed pacifist. In 1919, when his Theory of Relativity propelled him to international fame, he used his success as a platform to promote his social agenda. Twice, he left his membership in the League of Nations because it would not stand on diplomacy alone. Einstein hated war; as a Swiss- German Jew, he had seen the results of World War I and detested it.

During the rise of the Nazi Party at the end of 1930, Einstein stood his pacifist ground. It was during this time that he visited the United States and made his famous ’2%’ speech.

In countries where conscription exists, the true pacifist must refuse military duty. In countries where compulsory military service does not exist, true pacifists must publicly declare that they will not take up arms in any circumstances…. The timid may say, ‘What’s the use? We’ll be sent to prison.’ To them I say: even if only two per cent announced their refusal to fight, governments would be powerless.

Einstein finally left Germany in 1933 after Hitler was announced as High Chancellor of the Nazi Party. It was then that he began to see the evil rising to the top of the Third Reich. Einstein renounced his German citizenship and officially became a United States Citizen. He stopped preaching pacifism and issued statements calling on the friends of civilization to unite against the oppression of Jews in Germany.

I loathe all armies and any kind of violence; yet I’m firmly convinced that at present these hateful weapons offer the only effective protection. Should Nazi militarism prevail, you can be sure that the last remnants of personal freedom in Europe will be destroyed.

You see, sometimes evil cannot be fought with words alone. Evil cannot be confined to logic. A beautiful Hollywood example quote would be when Batman’s Alfred said “Some men just want to see the world burn”. You see, evil does not come knocking dressed as the devil, or else who would let him in? Jesus Christ said it best: “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves” – Matthew 7:15.

Einstein discovered that after dedicating his life to rid the world of war, the countries he loved so dear needed weapons of war in order to fight back and defend themselves to create that peace that he so nobly fought for. We can find relevance in the wisdom of Einsteins’ words if you are listening. He scribed the sentiment below in a book he autographed in 1946:

Children do not listen to the wisdom of their elders. Nations do not listen to history. The bitter lessons of the past must ever be learned anew.

Albert Einstein is world renowned for his breakthroughs in science – but the title quote above, “Condemnation without investigation is the height of ignorance” so often attributed to scientific achievement and exploration was not directed to them. Albert Einstein was not speaking to scientists; he was speaking to pacifists – from experience.

The Symbol Of The 2nd Amendment Is Holding Up “Old Glory” – Literally

blood of our forefathers The symbol of the 2nd Amendment is holding up Old Glory Literally

“Not to know what happened before you were born is to remain forever a child.” Marcus Tullius Cicero (Orator Ad M. Brutum, Rome, 46 B.C.)

The battle scene depicted above “Colonist defending the Liberty Pole, New York”, was not of a specific battle, but of one that represented a ten year conflict in which it was destroyed and rebuilt numerous times.  Liberty may sometimes be a prize that is won in one battle, but it is only maintained through continual conflict.

The history of the struggle began with the Liberty Tree in Boston, where Samuel Adams’ “Sons of Liberty” would often congregate. For over fourteen years, the “Liberty Elm” tree was transformed from a common meeting place to a National Icon and beacon for liberty.  The New York Chapter of the Sons of Liberty erected a “liberty pole” fashioned from wood adorned with a cap upon the top, to mark their meeting location. The history of the liberty pole is significant, as it dates back to 44 BC when a group of Roman Senators assassinated Roman dictator Julius Caesar. Immediately after Ceaser was killed, a Phrygian cap, symbolizing the freedom of the slaves, was placed upon the pole to symbolize their freedom from tyranny. The pole was significant, as it was an instrument of war –a phalanx, a guidon, a spear. Since then, the liberty pole with a hat atop has been a symbol for freedom and representation of the people in government and can be seen in art and literature throughout Europe. It is a symbol of a war instrument adored with the freedom it provided. Most notably, it can be seen in the center of the Emblem of the Department of the Army where the Phrygian cap (often called the Cap of Liberty) is supported on the point of an unsheathed sword and the motto emblazoned on the scroll flying above it with the words “This We’ll Defend.

During the Siege of Boston, a party loyal to the King of England cut down the Liberty tree, knowing what it represented to the Colonist, and then used the remnants for firewood. The fire that followed though was flames of revolution throughout the colonies. Liberty poles were erected in most towns and villages as far south as Georgia. Some were defiantly cut from white pine, which was prohibited for public use and reserved exclusively for masts of His Majesty’s navy. The caps traditionally atop the pole were replaced with various flags fashioned from either local militias or slogans of rebels’ cries, such as Ben Franklin’s depiction of a snake entitled “Join or Die” and the Navy’s “Don’t trend on me”. This became the birth of the flag pole in town squares.

Hearing the reverberations of revolution, the English moved to disarm the Colonists of their weaponry. While not everyone could fight and not all participated, most all were motivated to defend against tyranny. Each had their different motivations: some wanted independence, and others just wanted the British off their lands and out of their homes. The battle belonged to not just the citizen soldiers of the militias that sprang up; but as Patrick Henry stated to the Virginia Convention, “The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave.” The people gathered together, but there was not yet a unifying flag. They gathered under many banners – the unifying factor was that they were flown from the masts of the liberty poles. The term “flag pole” cannot even be found in early American literature until the 19th Century; flags were flown from liberty poles. It was the one common thread that every early American fought for – liberty.

Our nation’s colors, the Stars and Stripes, are proudly flown from poles all across our Nation. They represent the struggle for the right to support freedom and the instrument of war that provided it. Today, we have replaced the Phrygian cap that adorned the top of our ancestors’ liberty poles with a ‘finial’. The most common is a ball, which many claim to represent the shot ‘heard around the world’, or an eagle, our Nation’s mascot representing freedom. Together, the pole, the finial, and the flag represent the blood and determination of our ancestors as they gave their lives to make a better place for their children. They fought for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness – they fought for freedom.

The Declaration of Independence stated our claim to freedom. The Constitution provided a system of government so our freedom would never be taken away as a nation. The Bill of Rights was enacted so our freedom would never be taken away as individuals. We are all, individually, responsible to ensure we remain free. That’s what the 2nd Amendment was for, and that is what is represented by the pole – a symbol of the weapon that provided the freedom that is proudly displayed upon it.

Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? It is feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man against his own bosom. Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American…[T]he unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people. Tenche Coxe, The Pennsylvania Gazette, February 20, 1788

Clinton On Benghazi: ‘What Difference Does It Make?’—A Lot, Madame Secretary

Hillary Clinton on the Hill Clinton on Benghazi: What Difference Does it Make?—A lot, Madame Secretary

What difference does it make?

Well, Madam Secretary – a big one.

When Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State, sat before the Senate Foreign Relation Committee hearing on the Benghazi attacks, her conviction on the matter was certainly not in question. The questions came hard and fast and her answers escalated in kind with frustration. Eerily similar to famous exchange at the climax of the movie A Few Good Men when the “You can’t handle the truth” line was delivered, when questioned repeatedly regarding the misinformation that was delivered to the public via both Susan Rice, ambassador to the UN and the White House, she finally delivered the soon-to-be-infamous line “What difference, at this point, does it make!”

I have no argument with the premise that emotionally charged and pointed questions with the goal of her to admit failure are pointless, but the difference that it makes is this: if during the execution and aftermath, the event was so blatantly blamed on inconclusive and arguably concocted evidence (i.e., a “protest turned violent over a YouTube video, instead of a coordinated terrorist attack) to the point the President actually took that defense to the UN himself —what is it that they were hiding? She’s right, Benghazi was a mess. She admitted and took responsibility for the security and adopted all twenty-nine measures recommended by the investigation, but the clover and clean up—that is the problem.

How is it that the same administration that had a play-by-play seat in the world’s most sophisticated war room during the Bin Laden raid couldn’t review simple surveillance camera feeds and figure out what happened weeks later? The White House made this Benghazi-gate, not the Republicans, by the way they handled it. The American people simply do not like being lied to—it is a matter of trust—and it’s a big one. This is notably not the first time Hillary  Clinton has had to cover for a man in the White House who is not being truthful, and understandably, she’s getting a little tired of it. So are we, Madam Secretary—so are we.
