At the request of tea party leaders in Arizona, famed Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio has promised to investigate the validity of Barack Obama’s purported long-form birth certificate in a determination of the president’s eligibility for the county’s 2012 election ballot.
Tea party leaders in Surprise, Ariz., met with Arpaio and WND senior reporter Jerome Corsi Thursday morning to express concern that a fake birth certificate would be used to document the president’s eligibility to run in Maricopa County, where Arpaio is the chief law enforcement officer.
Arpaio’s tough crackdown on illegal immigration has made him a national figure.
At a one-hour meeting in Arpaio’s office, the tea party leaders presented the sheriff with a petition that was drafted after a speech by Corsi the previous night. Corsi, author of a best-selling book challenging Obama’s eligibility, “Where’s the Birth Certificate?”, presented evidence from numerous computer-imaging specialists who believe the document presented by the White House April 27 is not authentic.
At the gathering Wednesday night of more than 325 people, sponsored by the Surprise Tea Party Patriots of Surprise, Ariz., and the Liberty Through Action organization, 242 signatures were gathered on the petition, which requested that Arpaio begin a criminal investigation.

Every County Sheriff, across this country, has sworn to uphold THE LAW, the Constitution, and the vast majority of them have FAILED ….. MISERABLY.
This is especialy true in Pima County, Arizona, where we have a totally worthless, non-conformist, pro amnesty, asshole for a Sheriff!

As a resident in Southern Arizona, I am an ardent supporter of my newest hero, in fact I think I have replaced John Wayne for now! Joe is one of the very few fearless public officials in this State that says it like it is, and then acts on it as well. I sincerely wish he would run for Governor in Arizona. Our Governor Brewer is OK but lacks sincere backbone as she vetod the Elligibilty bill presented to her.

I fully support sheriff Joe. I don't think he'll really get anywhere though. There are too many road blocks to keep him going around in circles. The Usurper in office has placed them there long ago. If the Sheriff cracks this case, I'll buy him the biggest steak dinner he can eat. Many have tried, none have died for trying that we know of. Get ready for some heavy heat, Joe. The usurper has many minions.

Go for it Joe. Just be careful because you know you're going to be harassed by this administration for even daring to investigate the messiah. Make sure you always have a bodyguard with you and upgrade your life insurance. With your capability as a law enforcement officer of requesting and getting information on anyone in this country to do a background check, make sure you keep a second copy somewhere and document every thing you discover no matter how trivial.

I do not know if Joe will investigate this… but Whatever Joe decides, he has the support of this LEO from La Paz County, Arizona. There is alot of evidence from document experts supporting the contention that the documents released by the White House, authenticating the validity of birth certificate, may very well have been altered… thereby making the author oif the document AND ANYONE CERTIFYING IT AS ORIGINAL, guilty of a Felony.
I know that the state of Hawaii defied a Federal subpeona demanding they produce the original for comparison… that can't be a good thing for Obama!

Sheriff Joe "I'll kick your ass Hot" Arpaio. He is one of the main reasons I miss Arizona. I lived there for 44 years and Sheriff Joe always did an admirable job. It would be great if he were the one that finally vetted the Phony Impostor Muslim-In-Chief and have him (Oh Bumwad) take up residence in Joe's TENT CITY.
