Ira Foreman has a tough job nobody could imagine would be tough just four years ago. Foreman is the man in charge of getting Jewish voters to the polls to support the re-election of Barack Obama. This was supposed to be a snap job. Foreman should be living it up in Charlotte knowing he had his people lined up and ready to go. But things have gone from bad to worse in the relationship between the Democrats and the Jewish voter.
At this point, just two months from Election Day, the support Jews will give Obama is not at all a sure thing. Those saying they will vote for him have dwindled from 78% in 2008 to only 64% at best today. While, in and of itself, the Jewish vote is not very large, it has been a consistent “canary in a coal mine” indicator of trouble for Democrat presidential candidates. Since 1916, no Democrat has ever lost the Jewish vote; but when the percent of support from Jews goes down below 68%, no Democrat has won.
On top of all of the in-your-face insults to those who cherish Israel, there is a new report that the Israeli ambassador to the United States absolutely rejects as a lie what Debbie Wasserman Schultz is spreading around Washington, that the Ambassador described the Republican Party as “dangerous for Israel.”
Given the lack of enthusiasm Democrats have in general this year, Jews seem to be right in the mainstream. When Foreman held his required pep rally and talking points lecture earlier this week, he was not able to fill the room. He told the gathering it is NOT true that Barack Obama is not a friend of Israel. He said this knowing Obama’s record but not knowing the Democrat platform would call Jerusalem the capital of Israel.
If the Jewish vote drops by 14 points, the Democrats would feel a loss of votes in important states. The losses would be Florida, 83,500; Pennsylvania, 41,500; Ohio, 19,000; to a lesser degree in Virginia, 12,500; Colorado, 11,500; Michigan, 11,000; and 9,500 in Nevada.

I agree obama is a muslim. He has said so. His administration in in lock step with the brotherhood and Israel can forget about any military help. I support Israel and the jews as a christian. Any jew that votes for obama will deserve the holocost they will get if obama is re-elected. You ronly hope of surviving is voting for Romney.

How can any Jewish person support Obuma? To me, voting for Obuma would be as terrible as voting for Hitler. Obuma has no respect at all for the Jewish people and no intention of supporting Israel in the event of armed conflict. He hates Israel.
pete – romney has so much respect for jews and the jewish religion that he actually has participated in rituals converting dead jews to mormonism. he has said that he did. mormons continue to do this to this day. there are many intelligent, informed jews who are democrats.
To begin with, Obama is a MUSLIM. One, hard proof, is what he did in order to save major Hassan, the FORT HOOD MURDERER of 13 US soldiers and wounding of another 35, while crying “Allahu Akbar”, from being judged as a terrorist, by defining this murderous spree as a “Working Place ACCIDENT”. This happened three years ago, and his definition, accepted by the Pentagon Chiefs and the mainstream media, made the judging of the Terrorist a nightmare for the Judge; so he posponed and postponed the judging, with total disregard for the victims´families, and the last time, in August, he postponed it indefinitely, VECAUSE THE MURDERER GREW A BEARD. This is the doing of the US (ILLEGAL) Commander in Chief. Any discussion anyone? What kind of a moron can believe that a guy yelling “Allahu Akbar” while shooting his comrades at arms, is perpetrating the act ACCIDENTALLY? simonson – are you aware that bush refused to put the money which was being spent on the wars in the budget, so that people would think the debt was actually less than it was? obama listed these huge, ongoing military costs in the budget so that we could see what was really being spent. you make some other untrue comments, but they are so over the top i will not spend time addressing them.
