I do not understand the mindset of a United States Congressman or Senator, of either Party, who would so publicly and readily not only abdicate their responsibility to follow the Constitution, but sit back and without a fight or so much as a show of false indignation, allow another branch of Government to usurp their powers and render them meaningless.
Out of 535 so-called representatives, the people who are supposed to hold up our founding documents to protect the citizenry they represent, not one of them had the stones or was enough of a Patriot to stand up and proclaim the following. “Not having received any decision from the Supreme Court on the law the Congress sent them, no action would be taken on the bill until the next Court session, when the court will have a chance to further deliberate on the Bill, possibly rendering a decision. In the meantime, if any Representatives in the House wishes to take up the theoretical posturing of Chief Justice John Roberts, and actually pass a Health-care bill funded by new taxes, I’m sure it will be given the attention it deserves. I’ve been railing about judicial activism for years.
The last time I put it in writing was in 2008.
Basic Constitution. Legislators Legislate. Judges Judge.
If the Speaker of the House or the Senate Majority Leader of Congress were to decide that Jerry Sandusky was innocent because he wasn’t having sex, and he was teaching Sex-ed, could they force their opinion on any Court? Would he be let free?
Conversely, we should not be enslaved by the deranged hallucinogenic meanderings of a wanna-be loved politician, a judicial activist rewriting legislation to correct it’s inherent deficiencies who is more worried about his legacy than the Constitution he swore to protect.
I don’t have to obey someone publicly and obviously impersonating a Police officer. He is committing a crime and should be punished.

It is the American people who are to blame..they won’t vote them out…but will bitch and moan about a sorry job the congress does……and when they become serfs they will wonder what they did that caused it…but when you hear young people out of college, not knowing what a founding father is, you get an idea what they are being taught.
It has taken the liberals many years to “educate” our children. The parents have no say in what is being taught. Our children are for all practicals puposes being raised by the government.
The liberal judges have ruled that the parents have no right to interfere with the education of their children.
Parental rights have been taken away to make that possible.
I believe that all adults with children should deny any responsibilty for the kids upbringing and behaviour.
I have had enough spankings while growing up that if the government knew, my parents would have been in jail for child abuse.
Very few of the children in government care turn out that great. Does anyone really believe that the government can do it better than what the creator designed for us?

Our founders never anticipated voting blocs. The blocs — unions, minorities, gays, pro-abortionists, welfare recipients, single moms, ad nauseam — will always vote democrat. Dems keep the promises coming, so until there is a breakdown of society with rioting in the streets, nothing will change. Conservatives are not organized enough to mount any changes. The Tea Party is a start, but even it is made up of only small groups here and there.
I have only 1 question…How many members of Congress have been threatened with ruination or death if they speak out against the Imposter-in-chief? We already know he has his own private “hit squad” who makes people disappear or suddenly die. Read the entire NDAA and then decide if Congress is doing nothing out of laziness self preservation.
To me it does not make any differece. They (and we also) expect our soldiers to give their lives for our country if necessary. I expect the same from everyone in Congress, the president and the Supreme Court.
If they want to be the leaders of our country, they better be prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice for it.
They get paid a lot better than our soldiers, have a better health care plan and their families are better taken care off in the event of their death.

All lawyers are cowards and really not as smart as they think they are. Just look at the crap laws they pass. Does anyone really expect a lawyer to stand up fpr anything except maybe a raise in pay. They have no clue how the world works and can`t even fake it very well. All lawyers should be banned from seeking government positions of any kind. The Members of Congress who sat on the sidelines and did nothing to protect the American people will pay the price for their inactions at the polls. With the Tea Party’s support I suspect that all of the Democratic Senators that are coming up for re-election will find themselves as they have done to the American people, kicked to the curb. I also believe that many Republican Senator’s that are also coming up for re-election will also find themselves kicked to the curb, since they also did noting to demand an investigation into Barry’s eligibility. Mitt Romney has a real fight ahead of himself, being a Mormon is his biggest obstacle that he will have to try and overcome with many American people. However there is really no choice to make, what we have in the White House is a nightmare and anyone elected to replace Barry would be a God-sent.
Congress is full of a bunch of whining cowards as are our judges in our courts. In November I believe the American people will vote most of the cowards out. But, obozo will try to start a war with Iran to stay in power as America’s dictator. We’ve been warned about this, but I don’t see anyone in Congress or in our courts doing anything to stop it. When we’re in a war with Iran, we may deserve what we get — at least the elitists in our government and in our courts will get what they deserve. The meaning of words has even been changed to allow interpretations of the laws that would never have been possible if we strictly adhered to the constitution. The liberals promote a living constitution for a reason!
In my opinion, all of these who voted for ObamaCare without ever reading it should be tried for treason. They knew the majority of American voters did not want this bill passed but they were either blackmailed or paid off to pass it. Other than that, he is correct that the sovereign People of the United States should simply reject everything that has come from Obama’s unconstitutional Administration.
I can’t figure out why the questions haven’t been asked or the statements made as follows:
1. If a Law has been deemed ‘unconstitutional’ under any provision of the Constitution, how can it possibly be resurrected as constitutional under another provision. Unconstitutional is unconstitutional.
2. The Congress does NOT have unlimited taxing Power. They have the power to tax for the legitimate ‘limited authorizations’ enumerated for Congress/federal government in Article 1, Section 8. Primarily that is for defense of the nation and the nation’s relations with other countries. The taxation/general welfare clause is for the welfare of the nation, as a whole, NOT for the individual citizens of the nation—and definitely not for those who are visitors in this country—whether legal or illegal. Individual citizens are primarily governed by the States.
3. Where does the Constitution give Congress the authority to involve itself in the healthcare of the individual citizens of the nation? That is a right of the individual States, IF the People give the States the right to be involved in healthcare.
4. Just because a man or woman wears a black robe and is appointed to be a Justice of the supreme Court doesn’t mean that individual is always right. Clearly, Obamacare, whether a tax OR penalty in unconstitutional. Our ancestors fought a revolutionary War to gain freedom from the English monarchy for attempting to force the colonists to do things or pay for things for which they disagreed.
5. The entire purpose of the Constitution is to guarantee the rights of the People to be governed ONLY by their consent. 535 Members of Congress who have yet to even read the now signed Law are certainly NOT representing their constituents.
6. Supreme Court Justices and other federal judges do NOT have lifetime appointments. They have appointments with ‘Good Behavior.’ How is ignoring the Constitution and rights of the People considered ‘Good Behavior.?
7. Most of important of all: If our Representatives and Senators are Not representing the consent of the governed (their constituents,) WHY are the People consistently manipulated by media and other sources to continually re-elect them?

They are probably feel threatened by Barry just like we are and don’t know wht to do. If they step out of line they will be publically denigrated. They will wake up one day and they willm be dismissed from congress since they do nothing. Barry will come on TV and say we can’t wait the economy is too important. I am taking commad of resources, industry, energy, and agriculture. We will tell farmers what to plant and where they will take the crops. 4 years ago I would have thought someone was nuts to say that. I am sorry to say I can’t say thet now. If they will give guns to killers, what won’t they do?
Stop re-electing members of Congress. They have refused term limits, so use your votes to limit them. They will do anything to protect their ‘careers’, even if that means ignoring their constituents. Simply vote for the new guy on your next ballot. And the key to all this is to LET THEM KNOW what you are doing and why. It’s a simple thing to drop an email to your reps. Although most get read by staff, the word will eventually get through. These people have gotten far too comfortable in their D.C offices. They are arrogant, self-centered, and quite frankly, useless. And they are FAR too partisan. Both major parties are so extreme now, that the average American goes unrepresented, and nothing gets done in Congress. All the current candidates were put into office by special interests, not yours. They are bought & paid for. The parties have their own agendas, not yours. Do NOT re-elect anybody! If they will not do the job they were elected to do, find someone else. Ask them where they stand on any issue. Non-answers equal no votes.
I totally agree with this article. In my opinion, what Justice Robers and the other four Justices did was rewrite the legislation taken before the Court to determine its constitutionality as written. This is blatant legislating from the bench of the worst kind.
Not only do I consider them all gutless cowards, but all 535 are traitors to our Constitution as well. They have allowed a man, that every one of them knows is ineligible and has committed multiple felony ID crimes, to sit in the Oval Office and systematically destroy this nation unscathed. I don’t even blame Obama’s decisions on Obama, I blame it on Congress, they are the ones allowing to do what he’s doing.
My job has taken me all over the world and you can’t imagine how many times I’ve been asked the question why we are allowing these traitors to do what they are doing to this nation. We are the most heavily armed citizenry in the history of this planet, we have no excuse. These people in DC do not fear the citizenry any longer, that’s why they are so bold. There should be literally millions of armed Americans in DC right now standing on the WH and Capitol Bldg steps telling them they are fired, go home. That and a majority of this nation quitting to fund the government through our taxes is the last 2 peaceful options that I can think of. I can promise you that if we do not preemptively exhaust peaceful hard-hitting solutions like the two I propose, there will be violence. The DHS is arming themselves for war against the citizens of this nation. Anybody that cannot see these people want violence after the DHS purchasing 400+million hollow point rounds, NDAA, the TSA bill authorizing 30k drones, etc is braindead.
These people have taken advantage of our apathy. Can you imagine if a sitting “President” or Congressman would have even mentioned the possibility of us adhering to some UN small arms treaty 200 years ago? It wouldn’t have happened because they knew they’d be dragged into the street and tarred&feathered or worse. It’s time for the men of this country to act like men and take this nation back from the foreign entities, sitting in our Congress and WH, who overthrew our Constitutional Republic. We better do something big and very quickly, we do not have much time left to handle this thing without bloodshed, which is what they want.

Yes Mike, I consider every member in Congress traitors as well. The person who really makes me sick is Allen West. The man is an Army and Iraq war veteran, as am I, and has lost friends over there and continues to disgrace their sacrifice every day he remains silent.
