Another Christmas Despite The Mayan Calendar Running Out

Did you ever read “The Prophecies of St. Malachy?” Malachy, an Irish saint,  “prophesied’ the reigns of Popes from his time of 1143 AD to the end of his list – the next pope after Benedict XVI in an era of persecution and the destruction of “the seven hilled city.” He didn’t predict their names or state his list as the end of time (nor do I), but he does predict judgment following…interestingly accurate in its 1 to 5 word phrases codifying each succeeding Pope.

For example., Pope John Paul I was called 869 years ago “of the half moon” – He lived 2 weeks after his coronation. The current Pope is referred to as “Glory of the Olive.” The Olivetans are also known as the Benedictines – his name Benedict XVI.

The next and last in line is “Petrus Romanus” –  “Peter the Roman” who in the final persecution will feed his flock among many tribulations; after which the seven hilled city will be  destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people.”

The historically amazingly accurate list ends there, just like the Mayan calendar.

Ahead lays the Islamic promise to “lay waste to the world and all that is in it.”

At the present time, the hatred of the Islamic countries toward the West has become hatred against Christianity itself. Statesmen are now taking it into account that there is a grave danger that the temporal power of Islam may return on a broad scale, and with it, the menace that it may shake off a West which has ceased to be Christian, and affirm itself as a great anti-Christian world power. Muslim writers say, When the locust swarms darken vast countries, they bear on their wings these Arabic words, “We are God’s host, each of us has 99 eggs, and if we had 100, we should lay waste to the world and all that is in it.”

Islamic radicals have been burning churches, slaughtering worshippers, tearing down ancient Buddhist and Hindu shrines – not limiting their aggression to Muslims they disagree with. The use of suicide bombers, by definition makes this spiritual warfare of the most heinous kind. A recent fatwa issued by an Iraqi imam was, “To Christians – convert or die!

An Egyptian screwball wants to destroy the Sphinx and the pyramids as insults to Allah. Would the “seven hilled city” and its content be excluded?

With the American “Great Satan” aiding and abetting with blood and treasure the rise of Islamic Sharia rule in the Middle East and ultimately the world, it might be time to realize we’re involved in far more than politics, that is all out spiritual warfare. We know God and his Christ are the ultimate victors. For us the question is how much blood will they shed before the world comes to its senses?

What is that old saying? “May you live in interesting times?”

Merry Christmas.

  1. According to Ancient Hebrew Scripture the last Pope will be named “Petrus” or “Peter” at the end of Days, which is coming right after the current Pope! Are you ready for the Rapipor, Rapture?

    • Ronny -I see from your site you are well versed in Scripture. I was concerned however about this statement: “I have respect for the Catholic Congregation, however, the Catholic Doctrine and Laws state that “You cannot recieve Salvation unless you are inside the 4 walls of the Catholic Church”! As a Messsianic Jew I […]”
I’ve been aware that many Messianic Jews have a slanted view of the Catholic Church. Might I suggest you go to some Catholic sites for answers. Even the Catechism of the Catholic Church in its entirety can be accessed on line at no cost. When referring to the wider Body of Christ, she refers to all baptized Christians as part of the holy catholic church – small “c” meaning believers in Jesus Christ as universal in their faith.

All mankind are God-seekers with an endowed free will. God reveals himself to all in some way at some undefined point(s) in life. Catholic doctrine is one cannot receive salvation outside Jesus Christ – not the 4 walls of a church.
Given that God allowed mankind to disperse about the world after the original covenant with Adam and Eve – it is also true that the cultures that developed all have some seed of that original promise within them. One has to look for it in ways most anthropologists fail in their endeavors.
Looking at the bigger picture from Adam and Eve to the present, there had to be a way for what was an oral Tradition through to Abraham and the Patriarchs that was the pure thread of hope and salvation. It was fulfilled in Jesus Christ as your knowledge of Scripture and history affirms. All other religious pathways give their cultures and members hope for eternal salvation in some form or another. Even the Aztecs misinterpreted the One Blood Sacrifice for wide human sacrifice – though their mythology included the coming of a woman on the Hill of Tepeyac who would lead them to salvation. Jesus’ mother appeared as Our Lady of Guadalupe in 1531. Within 7 years, 8 million Aztecs were converted to Christianity by the Franciscan friars.
The Catholic Church as I understand it does not condemn them but knows God rewards those who earnestly seek him. We still have the responsibility to preach the Gospel to all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This is a mystery of the mercy of God none of us are qualified to judge. We must be obedient and also recognize Jesus gave one Church his authority, and that Church assembled the Bible as we know it. Jews have a special place in focusing the oral tradition into prophecies that can only point to Christ. They have a special place in salvation history and have paid the price for it by the hatred of the world and all too many “churchy” folks in low and high places.
Thanks for your comments and have a happy and blessed Christmas and New Year!
PS: As a Messianic Jew, might I recommend you download my 2007 book “God’s Prophetic Zodiac plus BELs and Whistles on Human Behavior” Download for your Kindle or iPad is less than $10 – 335 pages.
http://www.lulu.com It is NOT astrology, but shows how the oral tradition was passed down on the scroll of stars that hangs overhead visible to all. It is also a beautiful story of how God prepared the Jews to be his chosen people. The BELs and Whistles section speaks for itself. Much of this post in WJ above originally came from that book.

    • The World almost did end. Less the three weeks ago a THREE MILE wide asteroid MOVING AT OVER 26000 MILES A SECOND did A CLOSE FLY BY TO THE EARTH. Barely heard anything about it as it would have caused panic. If we would had been hit we would have gone the way of the dilosaurs. Most life on this planet would have seased to exist. So the Mayans were just a little off on their date on their end of world predictions.

      • wOW! That is almost as big a secret as George Soros being rich and not a Republican. His role in everything from Obamacare to the Westboro Baptist Church is stunning and an interesting Google search.
e.g.; Westboro Baptist Church and George Soros or Tides Foundation and health care.
