Ann Coulter Joins Board For Homosexual Group

Columnist Ann Coulter, whose work appears weekly on WND, is joining the advisory board of GOProud, the Republican homosexual activist organization whose leaders say they are “conservative.”

The move comes after her controversial decision last fall to speak to the group prompted another conservative conference to withdraw its speaking invitation.

Coulter said in a statement, according to Chris Moody of the Yahoo.com blog The Ticket, “I am honored to serve in this capacity on GOProud’s Advisory Council, and look forward to being the queen of fabulous.”

The report said GOProud “has caused a stir within the conservative movement, which is grappling with whether to accept organizations that identify as gay.”

Officials with the Conservative Political Action Conference, CPAC, announced just a few weeks ago that they would no longer allow GOProud to participate as a sponsor of their conference.

  1. WELL, IF SHE'S GAY, SHE'S GAY, AND SHE'S WITH HER PEOPLE….SO ? I GUESS THAT'S HER WAY OF COMING OUT..??

  2. WELL, IF THATS HER WAY OF "COMING OUT" THEN SO BE IT…NOW ALL WILL KNOW…
MAYBE THATS WHY SHE IS SO HYPER…?

  3. This has got to be a joke.

  4. First she slams the "BIRTHERS" then denies that Bilderberg & CFR control our politicians! Now we know she is a homosexual? I stop listening to that book selling ______ a long time ago!

  5. I wonder if Larry Flint will make her an offer ?

  6. enoughalready says:

This does not mean she is a homosexual. Look, my brother-in-law has been with the same sex partner for 20 years. One owns his own business and the other is a nurse. They are productive members of society, pay taxes and their house is cleaner than mine. Any time there is a family crises, they are front and center to render aid. I LOVE them dearly and they are essential to our family. They have been kind and wonderful to my sons and their wives. I do not believe this is a lifestyle CHOICE…I believe this is the way they were born into this world…the way "GOD" made them. I do not believe God loves 2 wonderful, kind people any less because they love someone of the same sex rather than someone of the opposite sex. Good for Ann Coulter!!!

    • Jerry Foust says:

God does not make people gay for goodness sake, people make their own choices so don't blame that on GOD.In my opinion being Gay is a form of Mental illness.A man can love another man or a woman another woman without having sex with them. Their is a difference between Love and Lust.

    • God loves everyone and wants them/us to be more than "productive in society" he wants them/us to bear spiritual fruit. Homosexuality is a violation of his laws, just like adultry, pedophelia, fornication etc. and other works of the flesh. God is a spirit creature and must be worshiped in spirit and truth Jesus said. The word "Sodomy" which has endured until this day as the description of their physical relationship is a reminder (by design undoubtly) of how he plans on judging such unrepentent behavior like he did in Sodom & Gomora. Don't be fooled, there is a profound difference between man friends and sodomy with another man. Everyone sins and falls short of his glory, the bible says that's why we must adopt a spirit of repentence and strive to keep his laws in front of us.

    • Danielle Barnett says:

Maybe you should read what the Bible says about homosexuality before you start giving God's opinion on the matter. You might actually learn that God has quite a lot to say about homosexuality in the Bible…and FYI…it isn't good.

    • Bill Richey says:

Please read my 2 treatises on "gayness" at: http://www.upraising.blogspot.com God bless you.

    • I was going to enter a comment but after reading your comment it seems you hit the nail on the head. I can't get all hostile toward homosexuals UNLESS they get in my face and make unreasonable demands! I do believe that they were born that way but I don;'t like the combative ones or the ones that demand I accept their life stlye! they should just live their lives like anyone else and keep their affairs private. I still blame the activist for th spread of hiv/aids in the past.

    • You don't have to apologetic for anyone. But to endorse a wrong life style CHOICE is ludricus even if family.

    • Claude Armstrong says:

Since when does falsified "science research" replace the fact that homosexuality is a choice, not a gene? It is ONLY those who choose to ignore plain ol' truth that say homosexuality is a "natural" part of one's person. If you at all value what truth stands for, then go and talk to those who are now struggling to escape the homo lifestyle, and regain their natural person. It's an eye-opener, to say the least.

This bilge-water talk of "natural" homosexuality harms those who are caught between coming clean with the deep sexual contortion of homosexual relationship, and escaping it to live a truly natural human life. Please, get the facts straight, and post reality, not this "homosexuality-is-natural" drivel.

  7. Everybody can quit pickin' on Ann. She's good people and just because she joins a gay group doesn't mean she's of the same orientation. If she is then it's her biz. She's otherwise dedicated to politically conservative principles and has made it her life's work. More than I can say for Barney Frankenfarter who has gay sex before a tv interview then tells the whole world out his ass. Ann's got class, she's a brilliant writer and commentator. Seems like this has become an era of bash the women whereby libtards are trying to imitate their accepted Muslim brethren. Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann are testimony to women bashing and they're known heterosexuals. Hello! So why are the feminazis so mum? Years ago any gender bashing of females was grounds for a riot.

  8. A conservative group is a conservative group! Do you want to stop all gays from voting? First them then Eskimos then who else.

    • UGACracker says:

Eskimos? Maybe unregistered voters who happen to be Eskimo, but I doubt there's a movement to disenfranchise Eskimos. Besides, who said anything about keeping gays from voting. The issue is whether the conservative movement has a place at the table for people who identify as homosexual first, with all other parts of their identity secondary to that. I'm heterosexual, and I don't know of a single conservative organization that identifies as straight conservatives. If you're in a political organization, get your politics out front first, aand then other aspects of your lifestyle come after that. Otherwise, your homosexuality IS your politics.

  9. Man, I was very disappointed in Ann for her disgusting decision. But reading some of the comments makes me glad that I'm not a Republican! They truly are the party of the big tent rather than principles. "Can't we all just get along". Little wonder that the once grand Party of the shining city has become a drag queen!
Amazing that most of them, as witnessed by your commenters, can even truly consider themselves conservative.

  10. "Birds of a feather flock together."

This just proves one of my theories that the best candidates for political office are not even electable because of the debauched society America has become. May God HELP America.

    • emily martinsen says:

      ditto!~

    • Claude Armstrong says:

Tom, Because "god," and "God" are specific Greek idol worshiper terms for their pantheon of "gods," and this term always is used the same as "sheep," for one, or many, and because the Greek-Roman Catholic Church renamed Creator "God," and also added "us, we and our" to Genesis 1:26 [Yes, Original Hebrew Scripture contains nothing there to refer to a plural deity creating the cosmos], I now refer to the One Who will soon make His final judgement upon Man as simply "Creator."

Yes, Creator is the only being left with the Truth in His Hand. We who occupy His Planet Earth have reached the place of the time just before He drowned all but Noahyde and his family, and the Earth became a contorted, volcanic and shifting platonic disaster. We who vainly imagine we are "enlightened" with all manner of the very same sexual disorientations that were rampant at the time of the Flood, have disregarded our dire consequences for ignoring our completely vulnerable state before the Almighty One Who holds our very life and breath in His Word.

With His Word He created, and with His Word He destroys. May I ask you to join me in asking Him, as Samson did in his struggles with morality, mortality, and reality, "Master, bring this people to their knees before you, that we all might know Truth, and regain respect for Who You are, and for what You created us to be."

Banker Cartel members consider themselves above the authority of Creator, and deny His presence, and His existence. They take the identity of the Fallen Angel, Lucifer, and accept that being's willful blindness to the Truth of Creator's Final Word. This Banker Cartel has now invaded every organized religion, except for Islam, and it will soon fall to their onslaught. The only ones left with acceptance of Creator and His Living Word are those who denounce organized religion, and a few who are about to do so.

      • Claude, God is calling out a people of His own even in these last days. In that, I am encouraged.

He is saving them one at a time as they hear God's Word (the Bible) and believe the Gospel. I have faith that He will bring His purposes to pass. I'm also glad to be a part of the process.

  11. george smith says:

What a disappointment . I wondered why she never memtioned family or husband. Sounds her husband is a wife. I will not buy anymore of her books.

  12. gil beach says:

only unless she is an active member

  13. Good bye Ann. I dont want to hear anything else you have to say.

  14. Ann Coulter is getting stranger by the day. I'm not quite sure where she gets off thinking what she says or thinks is "The Rule" She cannot claim to be "Conservative" sorry.

  15. I hope Sean Hannity dumps her. For his sake.

  16. Is Ann "gay'? There is NO SUCH PERSON as a "gay conservative" any more than there is such a person as a "gay Christian". Sorry. Not really, because it's true. A conservative believes in traditional family values, monogamy, etc. "Gayness" disqualifies one from being either.

    • That, sir is just ignorant.

    • You got that right..there is NO SUCH THING!

    • Ann C is going (did this last year) to the Gay crowd to either: get more attention (that's self serving and against God) or she is one of them. Christians, no matter how many books you want to sell, do NOT endorse such activities…PERIOD! If ANN thinks SHE can change GAYS…by "eating bread with them", she is an IGNORANT Christian, and an ARROGANT human FOOL.

    • Well said!

Gay = keenly alive and exuberant : having or inducing high spirits

Sodomy (pronounced /ˈsɒdəmi/) is an "anal or other copulation-like act, especially between males or between male persons or between human being and animal," and one who practices sodomy is a "sodomite. (let's not forget what homosexuals actually do)

Too bad they had to ruin such a nice descriptive word…(gay)

  17. Good for her. I'm so tired of people stereotyping gay people as being liberal. Guess what, you can be gay and believe in freedom and financial restraint. Excluding groups because of their sexual orientation is just ignorant. When will people grow up and realize gay people are just as valuable to God and this world as anyone else. And no, this does not make Ann gay. Any more than a cat having kittens in the oven makes them biscuits. Are you people really ignorant enough to think that being around gay people makes you gay?

  18. Besides Coulter and Andrew Breitbart (mentioned lower in the article), also on the board is conservative darling Grover Norquist, whose no-tax pledge most modern "conservatives" all feel obligated to sign. (After all, signing a document is so much easier than actually thinking for yourself based on circumstances as they arise–you know, governing.)

    • James how would you or any Democrat know how to govern anything?

I could really care less if Ann Coulter is gay or not.I have never really cared for Ann Coulter just as I have never really cared for you either.

      Retard!

    • James,
"After all, signing a document is so much easier than actually thinking for yourself based on circumstances as they arise–you know, governing."

      Is that all you got?

O does exactly that. He just smiles pretty and signs documents. Evil empty suit.

  19. What's up with WND? If we can't trust that their contributors and employees are of the same values that we as conservatives are, then doesn't that tarnish their credibility? I can't help but wonder what kind of double dipping game these people are playing… Sure it all seems fine when we have the great and terrible progressive muslim in chief as our enemy. But what of the achievement of our goals? If conservatives/republicans were to gain control of more than the house, what kind of world would they give us? Look at what Boner and McConnell and the rest of these "conservative constitutional republicans" gave us with something as simple as the concept of balancing a budget and cutting spending. It has been a fiasco.

    • So now lets take our tried and trusted WND… Joseph Farah doing all the great work he did with the birth certificate campaign, only to have this 100 lb lead weight like Mann Coulter pretending to identify with us, only to do this. I'm sorry but part of being conservative is the values we have gained from history and the bible… No where in either of these does it show homosexuals have caused anything but detritus in EVERY society when their "movement" comes to the forefront. If a homosexual wants the rights we have as Americans… Godbless them for it. But not for being homosexuals.

      • If we continue to allow them to have a "group voice" within our own value set then what can we expect? What comes next…. obviously we already see them pushing the ideas that sexuality and gender are choices to be discussed ad nauseum with small children in school… so what's next? Let them be forced upon us in our churches? Maybe we can hear one of them drone up the good old progressive lie that Jesus was Gay… That's why John was the one he loved? Because in their camp love equates sexuality… This is ridiculous, Why is ANYONE who considers them selves conservative even entertain this idea? And why would any person, group, website, etc. That claims to inform us of facts and/or be our voice ally themselves with some one like this? Maybe I'm just simple and don't understand the rules of war… but If it was WWII why would we share d-day plans with someone in the German infantry? I know that's a stretch, but it illustrates my point of "lying with the enemy"

        • Tony!

Why do you blame WND for reporting what is factual? You made some very good points. If this site upsets you so much then why do you come here?

          • I come here just to watch you meltdown when all the "Facts" you say that come from WND are not in fact facts.

          • ireuel the only meltdown any one sees on this site is my making you look foolish immature in addition to my insulting you on a daily basis. You need to grow up!

    • Ann is doing a diservice to all Christians…shame on her!

      • Ok, I'll bite. I have read several posts suggesting everything from throwing her out of the conservative movement to her not being a Christian. First off, the conservative movement is just that, a political movement that supports small government and liberty from unlawful federal restrictions among other issues. Secondly, do you all know that we are all sinners? That God's ways are not always they way man thinks things should go. My Bible tells me that "he who is without sin cast the first stone. Judge not that you be not judged." If we are Christians, we are suppose to hate the sin NOT the sinner. If you want to hate sinners, you will be very lonely because as long as we live in this sinful world WE WILL ALL BE SINNERS!!! The word 'Christian' means to be Christ like. When Christ walked this land who did he seek out? Answer: The Sinner. "For all we have sinned and come short of the glory of GOD". May the God of Abraham bless all of you and Ann Coulter too.

        • "a political movement that supports small government and liberty from unlawful federal restrictions among other issues"

True, but of course it's those "other issues" that cause the conflicts. Fundamentalist Christians think they best define conservatism, despite their opposition to personal liberty–and even to states rights, for some–in many areas that they deem "sinful."

And those who keep using the Bible to justify law should remember two things. First, we are not a theocracy, nor do we want to be. Second, those same sections of the Bible also condemn many other practices in which modern Christians care ommonly involved.

As for Ann, she'll simply say or do pretty much anything that will sell books and get her on television.

          • James there are extremes on both sides of the isle in religions just as there are in politics.

    • emily martinsen says:

      right!

  20. Al Wychers says:

I used to respect Coulter but if she's queer she needs to start her form of conservative party.
There is no room in the "Tea Party" conservative party for queers.

  21. Maybe she "thinks" she is doing a good thing or maybe she is a "secret" lesbian…dunno
As a Christian, this is not the route to take, you don't "join" a group our GOD calls an abomination…period. Can't be "hip and godly" at the same time, doesn't work that way, according to the word of GOD. Maybe ANN needs to join "Move On" so she can "speak her mind and communicate to the uninformed needy". Not what GOD says…Ann has forgotten, or to read her Bible?! Celebes, it goes to everyone’s head, they always leave the Lord. So says the scripture.

  22. They can join, but leave the Gay B. S. home

  23. Being a Registered Independent I have always thought of Ann Coulter as a flake.

  24. emily martinsen says:

    sad………
    very sad

  25. Sounds like this country is becoming a 3 ring circus!

  26. Karen Stein says:

I was a major Ann Coulter fan. I have purchased all her books, and have defended her when she was vilified. Now I am done with Ann Coulter. Another RINO had been revealed.

  27. Dr. Pete Kleff says:

    And this is news why?

  28. itsy-bitsy says:

Why would you want to keep Ann as regular contributer to your website? Just wondering…

  29. That does it! No more Coulter in this house. By aligning herself with the homos, she is alienating herself from a large block of her supporters. Boycott Ann Coulter!

  30. ireueltrailerparks says:

All I know is she needs to eat something, ever see them sticks she has for legs. I always wondered why she hung out with so many women. Or is that as some has said here. Book selling gold for her. She does like to sell books I know that.

  31. Gary in Colo says:

My own personal belief is that there may be many people of alternative lifestyles that can put their
personal lifes aside and agree for the most part in other conservative ideas and I do believe that they
should be welcome to help in solving our nation's current crisis in an intelligent manner. Anybody that
can join in a common cause for the good of the nation as long as they are not bringing in other own
personal agendas into a debate should be welcome. I think nobody should be discriminated against
in joining the conservative cause as long as nobody tries to change the conservative cause. I think
GOProud votes for Republicans can help the party during the moment of this next election.
a crucial election. nuff said, I'll just wait and see and I may change my own mind on the matter at anytime, but is where I stand for now.

(I see all the thumbs down already, but I do not stand for discriminating anybody who wants to
be part of otherwise focusing on strictly fiscal matters)

    • Gary in Colo says:

And this statement does not in any way mean that I endorse gay lifestyles. I just really
don't think it an issue that should be in politics.
If they are denied to vote for Republicans it will only make Barry the worst two term
president in history. Let them join us but they will not attempt to change us in anyway
and their vote can help insure Barry is the worst one termer.

    • The problem is that once you let homosexuals become an influential group in your party, there WILL be strings attached and eventually they will influence policy in their direction – bank on it.

      • Gary in Colo says:

They are not large enough a group. If they really want to influence such a selfish
self serving policy, they would just stick with the rest of the "it's all about me, me,
        me democrats."

  32. DEVIL DOG says:

I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE THIS AFTER LISTENING TO HER FOR YEARS. IF IT'S TRUE, I FEEL BAD FOR HER, BECAUSE SHE ALWAYS SAID THE WAY IT WAS.

  33. What some of you wrote is the reason why religion gets such a bad rap when it comes up in the same sentence with politics. The Bible is a guide to living. But it isn't the only one we have to guide us. We also have a Consittution. Our first trust for the future of our country is in our Constitution followed in principle by our founding fahers with the Bible as their guide. Once you quote only the Bible as all reasons for your conclusions, you re-inforce the reasons why religion and politics don't mix. As for Coulter, she can be a super part of this organization whether she is gay or not. Being gay does not erase every good and sound idea she has. If you are realistic, then you know that some people are born with genetic differences. The Bible does not control everything people have to deal with daily.

  34. Let the one without any faults throw the first stone. I am a conservative (without any holes in my hands, feet or side) and follow the teachings of the Old and the New Testament, I have enough sense to know that I must do what I am instructed to do and to not comment on the foibles or the "faults" of others.
Life and death is in the power of the tongue and those that practice it will eat the fruit thereof. So, remember, the concept of reciprocity. that's also known as the Law of sowing and reaping. Ya'll are extemely BRIGHT so I do not have to explain that to you.

Smile and look busy because the leader of "The Way" is about to return.

    george (El viejo canoso Jibaro)
don't forget that everyone has "dinga or gandinga" LOL

  35. ROBERT AUGERI says:

IF ANN COULTER WANTS TO JOIN THIS ORGANIZATION I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST IT EVEN IF THEY THE GAY ORGANIZATION ARE MISSING A FEW CHROMOSOMES. I AM AGAINST GAY MARRIAGE NOT ONLY FOR RELIGOUS PURPOSES BUT ALSO FOR THE DOLLAR ISSUE AND MARRIAGE IS BETWEEN A MAN AND A WOMEN.

  36. Ronald Liljedahl says:

I have always been a fan of Ann Coulter…I may have missed something..is she gay?? Why risk your rep in this way if something isnt right here?? I have always believed anyone that dont understand what they have for reproductive organs and how nature intended them to be used…will never understand anything else with clearity eather…I hope shes not gay…I will have to no longer trust her judgement!!!!

  37. Ann Coulter is a HAS BEEN and now trying to get attention, as usual. IF she isn't gay and a Christian she would NOT be associating with these breakers of God's laws. There are consequences and AIDS are an example that we all have to deal with because of Gays.

  38. Afraid this will really negatively affect the sale of her books as well as her appearances on TV touting her books.
