JERUSALEM — Information surrounding the Sept. 11th attacks against the U.S. mission in Benghazi has been so distorted by the Obama administration and so misreported by the news media that the issue was selected as WND’s “Biggest Lie of the Year.”
Immediately following the attacks, President Obama and other White House officials notoriously blamed supposed anti-American sentiment leading to the violent events on an obscure anti-Muhammad video on YouTube they claimed was responsible for supposedly popular civilian protests that they said took place outside the U.S. mission in Benghazi, protests, they claimed, that devolved into a jihadist onslaught.
However, vivid accounts provided by the State Department and intelligence officials later made clear no such popular demonstration took place. Instead, video footage from Benghazi reportedly shows an organized group of armed men attacking the compound, the officials said.
‘Consulate’?
Media coverage of the events has been so dismal that even the most basic understanding of what happened is being distorted. The vast majority of all news media coverage worldwide refer to the U.S. facility that was attacked as a “consulate” even though the government itself has been careful to call it a “mission.”
WND has filed numerous reports quoting Middle East security sources describing the mission in Benghazi as serving as a meeting place to coordinate aid for the rebel-led insurgencies in the Middle East.

The plan was for the Muslim extremists to kidnap Ambassador Christopher Steven’s, and trade him off for the “Blind Sheikh”. That is exactly why there was a Predator overhead sending back real live video’s as the events all unfolded. Why would a Predator have been positioned over-head when all that was to have taken place was a dinner between Steven’s and a representative from Turkey?
Unfortunately ex-Navy Seals, Glen Doherty, and Tyrone Woods disobeyed three specific orders to strand down, and they rushed to help the Ambassador, and as such threw the kidnap plan into complete disarray, which resulted in a seven hour battle, and the loss of four American lives.
Question, what ever happened to the twenty plus American’s that Doherty and Woods saved? How come that no one has heard from any one of them? Might this be why the NDAA came into being, so that innocent American’s can be detained without legal representation? It sure looks like that to me, how about to you?
I agree with you GZ. The 20 who were saved were probably told that if you want to keep your job then they better keep their mouths shut. I don’t think i would want to have an Obama Drone overhead laying for me if I spilled the beans on this mess. Maybe someday they will, but when dealing with the Emporer and Chief, an individual or two are definately way outgunned.
It is sad that none of this about the blind Sheik was never brought to the table or Obama and Hillary even being asked if they watched the live feed video of these soldiers being murdered. In my whole life, i have never seen such a vast amount of out right blatant, in your face corruption in every aspect of Government. What amazes me is that these people can commit murder, murder children with drones, launder drug money and run every imaginable racketeering game right out of the White House and never see a lick of punishment. Our only salvation is for some sort of independent militia to neutralize Obama or a dept of high level United States military to physically remove Obama because of him being a threat to national security as well as the economy.
He has been allowed to do these things for two (2) simple reasons: 1. Speaker Boehner does not have the necessary intestinal fortitude to begin impeachment proceedings against Barry. 2. So long as Sen Harry Reid pretty much “controls the Senate”, even if Barry were tried for his actions, there would NEVER be a conviction. Hell, this Congress would probably vote to give the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Al Capone and Bugsy Moran for their long and distringuished contributions to America’s economic recovery.
The day may come when America’s version of the Reign of Terror comes to an abrupt end…or as you stated, some level of independent militia neutralizes him. I bet Sheriff Joe could make him feel right at home…just imagine him in pink undierwear for openers!
Exactly – however there is no one that is prepared to stand up and lead the people against the corrupt government and the thugs that are called Senate and Congress. Such a day cannot come fast enough.

The liberal media has dropped all pretence of honesty in what was once real journalism but is now pure propaganda, hence the Baghbag Bob award.
As with Fast & Furious, this may turn out to be a double award since Obama, Holder, Hillary and others made sure NOTHING ever has or will be done about F&F .
I blame Obama & Hillary Clinton directly for the attack on the Bengazi Consulate, I say they worked alone along with the CIA and orchestrated the attack to keep the finger off Obama & Clinton. They were running guns to Obama’s terrorist buddies the muslim brotherhood, alQueda, and several other muslim terrorist groups,This is Treason at the highest level.
He has lied, cheated, stolen from, defrauded the U S worse than any other single person in history. Why is he not behind bars instead of being allowed to try to shred the document which protects our freedoms and liberty? For as long as the ” mediastream ” doesn’t report on what Hussein and company , and as long as the Democrats can hold the Senate , they aren’t going to do anything . If you call out Hussein , the the ” mainstream news ” will jump on you and claim that you’re a racist . They won’t talk about anything if it puts Hussein and his Adm. , that’s bad . How much did they say about ” Fast & Furious ” ? Or , Benghazi ? But , look at what they did when Hurricane Sandy came . All media had a 15 minute when Hussein went to N.Y. and N.J. , one the 6 o’clock news , and a whole page of pictures that they took of him in all the newspapers . And , over a month later , FEMA pulled out the portable johns , that the people of N.J. had , as they don’t have sewers working yet . And over 1 million still don’t have any power . Where is the ” mainstream media ” now ? Hussein came there and started giving himself pats on his back , saying that FEMA is working . Yeah , right . If it was Bush , the ” mainstream media ” would have been all over him . But , not Hussein .

What puzzles me most about the, Benghazi Affair is; The President Of the USA, is also the Supreme Commander Of The USA Military. His rule and authority is absolute. This is why, none of the generals have spoken out. All data, all e-mails, all information is given to the President first. With in minutes, President Obama would have had all information necessary to make a decision. He also had all information as to the dangers involved, prior to the attack.
Why is Obama getting a free pass, when it is his job to make these decisions? If he gave orders, Who were they given to and why were they not carried out.!!!! Folks this so called investigation is a HOAXS!!
I was expecting a military coup long before now. I never thought our military would ever go along with what we have in office now, they reason why is the fact they may need a leader and there isn’t one. We used to have 2 types of Generals, true warriors and the kiss ass pencil pushers, it appears all the warriors have either quit or been asked to resign. Still, this is far from over.
