For clarification, I could have no doubt included in that list Fred Barnes and Charles Krauthammer (and probably the rest of the Beltway Boys), but to my knowledge, they haven’t viciously attacked those who rightly recognize the eligibility of the Commander in Chief to hold office as “not incidental” to our liberty. (To their discredit, they have marginalized the issue itself, however.)
By way of further clarification, I could also have included in that list such names as Ed Schultz, Lawrence O’Donnell, Rachel Maddow, Bill “Million Dollar” Maher (one of the 99%?), Keith “Too-Extreme-Even-For MSNBC” (How is that possible?) Olbermann, and Jon Stewart (along with his 4 or 5 script writers), as each of the above obviously occupies the same vacuous position as those on my “A” List. In truth, of course, I have only scratched the surface of the “Good Morning America” and Ladies of “The View” hosts – past and present – and virtually every other Hollywood and Manhattan/D.C. media star and starlet one might name, with a few notable exceptions. (The obvious difference, of course, is that we expect those on the “B” List to shill for all-things-Obama. We do not, however, expect that from those who stress such quaint concepts as “truth” and the “rule of law” – and, oh yeah, what was it called? “the Constitution”…but I digress.
Let me simply address the one-time de-facto (now “de-fecto”?) leader of the Tea Party movement, recovering addict Glenn Beck. I don’t mention that to embarrass Glenn, as he has thoroughly vetted (and “outed”) himself on that account. I just thought that it would be quaint to highlight our shared life experiences. You see, I was once addicted to…not alcohol, or drugs, but to, well, Glenn’s daily diatribes, in which he pointed out with relentless zeal (as well as accuracy) the pointed refusals of those in the Soros-dominated media and underworld of “philanthropy” (go figure…) to acknowledge blatantly obvious truth.
And then along came a fraud so big that it could easily blow the lid off of, say, the Tea Pot (Dome) scandal…and Glenn was nowhere to be found. Well, not exactly…. He was actually everywhere to be found…mocking both the notion that the UFO in the White House (Unidentified Foreign Occupant?) should have to meet Constitutional muster, and anyone so bereft of reason that he (or she) could conclude otherwise.
But wait, along came…not John, but almost…Sheriff Joe. So much for the relentless pursuit of the truth, for our (my) one-time hero, the feckless…excuse me, fearless, Glenn Beck! (No, I clearly had it right the first time.)
I will end my own diatribe by simply saying that having been in a self-induced (fooled you!) twelve-step program since Glenn went AWOL on this issue (following pal O’Reilly’s lead) about a year ago (I chronicle all of this and volumes more in great detail in my book Oh Really, O’Reilly!), I accidentally came across his radio “program” last night at about 7:30 Phoenix time – some thirty hours after the Sheriff’s Press Conference. I listened for what may have been thirty seconds max, and immediately noted (with interest) that he and his sad sidekick (sorry!) were talking about the “otherwise good on issues…such as immigration” Sheriff Joe.
Not a word of refutation of anything factual. No, not one! Just a merciless mocking of the entire “misguided” effort to prove what I believe he referred to as a “Communist implant” theory. While I hasten to add that I never warmed to his obviously-stress-releasing (for him, at least) collision of “news and [out of control] entertainment,” last night’s hilarity was easily an all-time high – make that low. When I saw that there would be nary a word of substantive relevance, but only the usual Alinsky-inspired ad hominem, ad absurdum, I switched the dial…this time, for the last time!
While I hate to make this too personal (I wrote my first political book as a result of attending Glenn’s 8/28/2011 DC Rally), I must be honest about the blatant dishonesty of one of my own. Apparently Glenn never got the memo (or definition) on honesty. If he had read Steven Covey’s Seven Habits, he would have learned that one “can’t pick up one end of the stick, without picking up the other.” IOW, you can’t be guilty of absolutely abandoning the truth (not to mention scorning all who won’t join you in your abhorrent abdication) on the one hand, and expect to remain trustworthy on the other.
Doesn’t work that way, Glenn. You see, my friend, we don’t get to pick and choose when we will be honest. We either are, or we aren’t. You and your new pals on the Left aren’t…and that can only change if and when you repent and put down the stick. Let me end by congratulating both you and O’Reilly – along with everyone else on my “A” List – for without your complicity (i.e., total and absolute cooperation), the worst president (can’t bring myself to capitalize that…. Sorry!) in history (far worse than your beloved Woodrow Wilson) has been able to remain in office long enough to earn that title…and wreak havoc on both the economy and the Constitution – the very thing that could have, and should have, stopped him…but I digress!

When I heard that Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin were “tea party”, I almost laughed. They’re FAKES and to me, that shows that THAT branch of the “tea party” was fake.
I guess he’s a Trojan Horse, planted to look like a patriot but really there to FOOL folks (mislead them) to some ends that only his puppeteer knows.

Glenn is like a jellyfish that goes wherever the tide takes him. Cable spinners and Talk radio hosts need to be extreme in order to define their audience. A defined audience can sell advertising. Rush found so much more success as an extremest than he did when he was a moderate comic based host. The same for Beck, Ingram and the others. They plant their flag in a place where both liberals and moderates will listen to hear how the other side thinks and the far right listens to confirm their beliefs. I’d bet that Bill Mahar has more right wing viewers than left, simply because they want to hear his ridiculous views and have something ro repel against.

I feel your pain…. I would only urge that you accept the fact that a.) Those on the Left have no interest in the truth of this matter…or they would be calling for his removal as well; b.) Those in the Establishment Media (that means they are being well-paid, have a reputation which they treasure, and they don’t want to risk jeopardizing either their wealth or their “good standing”) on the “Right” also lack both the moral and intellectual courage to state the obvious truth (not a few, but the VAST majority of “Right-wing” pundits and Politicians at EVERY level); and finally c.) The only one you that ANY of us can actual control (or should control) is OURSELVES…but IF we will do that, by being as informed as we can (while still having “a life”), and we will simply SHARE our beliefs via emails, forwards, posts like the one you just did (albeit perhaps a bit more calmly!), etc., we WILL influence reasonable people to see the truth. The bottom line is that we will THEN (as we accept what we can do nothing about, and DO the things that we each CAN do – as stated herein) find a measure of PEACE, as well as the satisfaction of knowing that WE…STOOD on the side of truth! In the end, while we all want to see justice, now, all that really matters is where we stood – i.e., whether or not we lifted up our (rational and reasonable) VOICES in defense of truth. YOU are doing that, Floyd (I hope I’m remembering your name correctly!), so PEACE OUT, my friend!

@mountaine I am also 71 and in the same boat with you. I have found it is better to fax your Reps as well as emailing them. When I am sent an email with a petition to sign I fill it out and send it I also copy it, print it then fax it to the proper person/s.
I must add looks like my predictions are coming true. That is one. (Link below) Another is he will find a reason to declare Martial Law, cancel the election and remain in power until his string pulling puppet masters are finished with him. Then he will be discarded. BHO might be somewhat educated, but he is not smart enough to realize he is being used!

Mountaine: I’d like to say you’re taking this all too seriously, but I can’t. It sounds as though you are doing your part by making sure your Congressmen knows, we’re not going away and we’re not going to be silent.
I’m not sure I know what you are seeing that “seemed to be good,’ but regarding “How did we get here” has a answer. A lot of people have bought into a :lie” about who this man is and what he offered. The saddest part of all is before he even starts to campaign about half of the people in this country are still willing to give him more time and they are getting organized to fight with all of their might. Obama is going to try and pit one group against the other so that people lose sight of the issues or why they are fighting. What a shame, to go backwards.
How do we get out of this? Stand up for voter ID requirement, get people registered, get them to the polls. Don’t forget people in hospitals and nursing homes. If the left will allow aliens and dead people, we can sure utilize true-blue Americans!

I will continue to visit your site as sadly the media in the US is corrupt and apparently doesn’t have the same regard for honesty and integrity in reporting as you do. It is also sad that we will have to endure another year and a half of Obama’s ineligible presidency before the truth comes out. Even so, justice will prevail and he will one day be held accountable for his crimes against our country. His web of lies will one day unravel. We have a saying here “oh what a tangled web we weave, when at first we practice to deceive”. Thank you ever so much. Stevor – You are COMPLETELY wrong about Sarah Palin. I coordinated the first Tea Party protest in our area (and am still a VERY active Coordinator). Sarah Palin exemplefies all that is truthful and conservative. Please give very specific reasons for you to deem that Sarah does not promote the Tea Party platform; if you cannot do this, please do not bad-mouth her and sound like the Left with all of their lies.

Not sure where you got the idea that the Author of the Open Letter to Beck said anything negative about Sarah Palin. I didn’t. I happen to be a big fan. I also don’t believe (as some have chimed in) that Beck is a “plant.” Anyone interested in WHY I believe Beck and the VAST MAJORITY of national “Conservative” pundits (my “A-List”) have caved on this CRITICAL issue, should read my book (https://www.createspace.com/3673914). I have decided that Sean Hannity is no better than the rest of the Lame Stream Media. That man has a thing for Marco Rubio becoming the Vice Presidential nominee. I have done some research and have determined that Marco Rubio cannot be Vice President because he is not a natural born citizen. He may have been born in this country, but his parents were both Cuban citizens when he was born and therefore cannot hold the second highest office in the U.S. Government. It appears to me that the right in this country is going to try to pull another fast one on the American people like the left did in 2008.

Nothing in the Constitution PRECLUDES Marco Rubio from serving as VICE PRESIDENT–however, in event the president should NOT be able to serve, Rubio would NOT qualify as Constitutional replacement to move up, hence the Speaker of the House would move up to president if Congress went by the Constitution! Our DC politicians are so ignorant or just don’t give a DAMN what the Constitution says, they intend to run the federal govt. anyway they want. As Rep. No one is asking Glenn (or anyone else) to be “perfect.” What we ARE asking is that he be HONEST, and that he NOT trash those who have the courage (and intelligence) to take the Constitution and its clearly-stated requirements – not for a White House intern, or for kitchen help in the White House (each of which must no doubt pass exhaustive security clearances and vetting before even being considered for such low-level positions) but for the Commander in Chief of the most powerful armed forces on Earth, and Leader of the Free World – SERIOUSLY. This isn’t rocket science, and the ONLY explanation for abandoning the fight on this fundamental and easily-discerned issue is either an enormous lack of intelligence (I just can’t think of a more applicable term – help me out if you can…), or inordinate cowardice – and yes, I understand that there are threats. In 1804 this clause was amended by the 12th Amendment, which states as it’s last sentence “But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.” Looks like they had the same thoughts then, too.
The constitution specifically says there are two people who have to be “natural born citizens” in order to run. These two people, according to Article II, Section 1, of the constitution are the President and Vice President. Anyone else running for office do not have to meet any citizenship requirements.

Shavager, I believe your wrong, read the twelfth amendment at the very end it states and I quote ” But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice President of the United States ” this to me means if you have to be a NBC to hold the office of president you have to be a NBC to be vice president , please correct me if I’m wrong
I read it and you are RIGHT, Marco Rubio IS NOT ELIGIBLE. Twelfth Amendment says specifically: “But NO person constitutionally INELIGIBLE to the office of the President shall be eligible to that of VICE PRESIDENT of the United States.” There it is in QUOTES, directly from the U.S. Constitution. Because Rubio’s parents were Cuban citizens and NOT Americans when Rubio was born, he’s NOT a natural born citizen, doesn’t qualify for either office.
In addition, it has long been understood that the man (or woman) who would succeed the President must meet the same qualifications. When one reads John Jay’s July 25, 1787, letter to George Washington, in which he first recommended this requirement (obviously accepted by Washington, Madison, and Hamilton – as it made its way into the final draft, which the latter two helped Gouverneur Morris craft, when it was presented to the Convention some seven weeks later), it is perfectly clear WHY they wanted it. They were trying to prevent “foreigners” (or the children of non-citizen foreigners – the Marxist Barack Obama Sr. would have precisely been their worst nightmare!) from becoming Commander in Chief. Clearly this line of reasoning applied to the man or woman who was there for the specific purpose of succeeding the president in the event of his or her death.

Prior to Obama being sworn in as President, I wrote a letter to Chief Justice Roberts, respectfully asking/requesting him to verify Obama’s birthplace prior to swearing him in and making complete fools of the entire electorate of the USA. I did this because of the Birth Certificate being “sealed, or hidden or unavailable” which I thought was the strangest thing I have ever heard of. I had to produce a Certified copy of my Birth Certificate, a Photo ID and a Utility bill to verify my address prior to getting a DRIVERS License in the state of Indiana! Of course, I received no acknowledgment or response. It was neatly typed in Business letter form, not some scrawled note from a crazy.
I attended one of the first Tea Party “gatherings” in Phoenix, in 2009. It was unorganized, no sound system or programmed Speakers. They didn’t want to hear from ANY Politician, and it was mostly thousands of people, of all races and ages, although most were older and White, walking around the Capital building Park area reading each other’s signs! People had their children with them, and there were lots of college students I found in little clusters of Conversation. We were all on the same page: Too much Taxation (Gasoline, Cable TV, Utility bills, Telephone Bill, Sales Tax, Property Tax, Inheritance Tax, Tax on Captital gains on money already taxed and then invested, etc.)Too much corruption, and I generally surmised that the “Silent Majority” was rising up and would be Silent no more!
Many, like me, lost large percentage of the Value of their IRA’s, 401K’s in the Stock Market crash, and then the Housing market crashed and they were upside down on their Mortgages. Plus, Obama was elected President, and he said he wanted to “fundamentally transform our country” and that “Energy prices would necessarily skyrocket under his policies” The Sleeping Giant woke up and started fighting for what we assumed would always be the greatest Country in the World. Then along came Glenn Beck and started piling fuel on the fire, and we all jumped on that Bandwagon.
I used to sit in front of the TV and scream, “O.K. Glenn, we get it, but what do we DO about it?”Read the books he recommended, did my own research as he suggested, and found out it’s even worse than we think! I still don’t have the answer as to what we do. Glenn would tell us the Obama/Soros, Alinsky Radicals WANT us to rise up and take to the streets and become violent, so, like the Nazis, they would have an excuse to declare Martial law and send in the troops to stop us,, like Greece, Egypt, Iran, and now Syria! So we haven’t rioted in the streets, let “Occupy Wall Street” take up residence in our Public Parks and disrupt and vandalize all our major cities and towns. We joined and attended, affiliated with local Tea Parties, got politically active and replaced some House Members with more Conservatives, who have put forth all kinds of Legislation to improve our economy and take back our Government, but it is either “buried” in the Senate, amended and watered down, or ignored.
Sheriff Joe is enforcing Federal Immigration Laws in AZ. and being sued and persecuted for doing so, Eric Holder’s “Fast and Furious” operation was sending guns to Mexico to foment the Terrorism there, and is lying, dodging and witholding documents with the support of the POTUS so that’s going nowhere. Our loyal and steadfast military is spread all over the World fighting useless wars to “save” countries that apparently don’t want to be saved by US, and the very people we are trying to help are killing our soldiers. We have a usurper Manchurian Candidate President, and those we thought were “on our side and leading the charge” are laughing and degrading and minimizing all efforts to expose a scam a million times bigger than WaterGate (which brought Nixon down) Our economy is in the toilet, and going to get worse before it gets better. Our Candidates for President are spending millions to attack each other instead of attacking Obama, and the “likely front-runner” is a “Moderate Mormon” a good man with integrity, I believe, like John McCain, but not a Street-fighter that can, or will, fight against Obama on his level. Even the poor country of Honduras, with the help of their Supreme Court and Military, THREW OUT their corrupt (wanna be Dictator) President, but we don’t have that kind of Supreme Court, and our Military is being killed off, reduced, and throttled. So other than ranting on blogs like this one, WHAT DO WE DO NOW? All I can say is GOD HELP us, and that is what keeps me going: I know that the TRUTH will come out, it will set us free, and that GOD WINS IN THE END! But, until then, it’s going to be a long, hard, battle, and I don’t know if we are really up to it! Her best opportunity for making a difference would be to run for a Senate seat in Alaska or another state should she move to lower 48 states–she needs more political experience. She may be from the largest state, but that state only holds a population of approx. 690,000 people–many large cities have MORE people in them than the whole state of Alaska, hence running the national govt. would SWAMP any executive experience at state govt. she has. While I support her as a motivator, promoter and spokeswoman for the conservative ideology, she’s far too inexperienced to run for the top office in the U.S..
Well done, BonnieU2, for what you’ve been doing. What needs to happen now is quite clear to me. First, a major campaign putting ads in all the major papers, like Cdr. Kerchner has done in the Washington Post, summarizing the facts of the matter: that the LFBC that the Usurper released – finally, after much outrageous, and highly suspicious, stonewalling – is in fact a forgery (which alone calls for his removal from the office), one, and two, that in fact he has already fallen at the first hurdle anyway, for not having two U.S. citizen parents; the Republicans in Congress having knowingly gone along with this deceit, apparently wanting – for their own purposes – that requirement to be watered down as well. Which has made them complicit in this crime against the Constitution and the rule of law, for not going through the proper amending process.. So that’s the initial stage of the action to be taken against these usurpers, in creating a better-informed citizenry.
And in the meantime, Tea Partiers make common cause with the Oathkeepers, Article Twoers, and 10th Amendmenters (and many in the Occupy Movement, who are also outraged by this administration) in planning for a siege on the White House and the Capitol; these centers of the nation’s federal government to be surrounded by The People, Assembled, and unmoved – in civil and nonviolent disobedience – until the Usurper vacates the presidential office, and The People dissolve their sitting Congress, for not doing its constltutional duty and responsibility in this regard. They will already have chosen an Officer of The People, who will declare new elections within a time certain (say, 90 days), and who will clean out the executive branch of the federal government in the interim. The SCOTUS to be ignored, as it has ignored this assault on the very fabric of the Constitution – which will thereby prove not to be, to The People, just “a damn piece of paper,” as it has been characterized by the previous occupier of the presidential office; demonstrating that this has been a bipartisan attack on the Constitution. To which The People now need to rise up in response and say that they are mad as hell, and aren’t going to take it anymore – that it’s THEIR country. Not the plaything of tyrants from either the Left or the Right of politics.
Some may say, to this scenario: Get real. I say: That is precisely what we are doing. That this is a very real issue, fundamental to the rule of law in the country. That that is what We the People are returning it to. And let the chips fall where they may.
For if The People don’t act decisively in this matter, the tyrants take over (the definition of arbitrary law). And America has too high a spiritual calling to achieve, to have it taken over by such petty players on the world scene. Its ‘spiritual calling’ being, primarily, to demonstrate that a government of, by, and for The People can long endure. Not fall under the control of Royalty or Church or Oligarchy; but standing tall, as self-governing free moral agents. Claiming their right to Freedom, from the oppression of the State, in whatever form that entity takes.
Now is the time for all good men and women to come to the aid of their country. For them. For it. And for the world.
Well said kibitzer. Barring any chance of so called “free” or “fair” elections ousting the usurper we as American Patriots will have to do what you suggest. I’m ready and willing to do it. As for Beck, his willingness to acknowledge the most basic fraud while he ails against complex conspiracies tells me one thing, he has been told by somone to shut up about it or get off the air. Dr. Corsi said he has firsthand knowledge that EVERYONE at Fox were told this. There is no other option but to admit Beck is a coward like the others.

While some missed the point of my letter entirely, saying that we shouldn’t “throw out the baby with the bath water,” I reply by saying that our only weapon is truth, and that any who are willing to lay it aside (and even mock it – Beck, et al.), when they feel threatened, or fear the reprisal of the Ruling Elites, they show that they have a higher allegiance, and can not be trusted. The very nature of the Republican Party and its “leadership,” is compromise – which isn’t compromise at all, but total abdication at the altar of the gods of presumed popularity. Great and true leaders never seek the acrid winds of approval and acceptance, but, rather, stand by the truth…no matter the cost!

A possible explanation for Glen: The glistening of all that gold, has hampered his vision and good judgement. Sadly, he isn’t as much like Washington as he would hope to be. Washington had to have been annointed by God himself and seemed fearless in the face of adversity. I think/hope Glen continues to search for the truth. They get thousands of emails. You can’t expect them to answer them all. Glenn is not the one who reads them all. When it comes down to it, anyone who is considered a birther is considered crazy. Everything I read or hear sounds legitimate but I don’t have the papers in front of me so I am wary of what I read or hear. Why isn’t this presented to Trump? He has the money and the voice to pursue this. Nothing is going to change about Obama being in office. There are too many liberals in power to allow this to proceed. The only hope we have is to concentrate on the election coming up and this is all a distraction from that. It just makes conservatives, libertarians, etc. all look crazy. Bad mouthing Glenn, Sarah or anyone who doesn’t embrace birthers only gives power to the Obama supporters.

I’ve been wondering why Beck has sold us out on this one issue. We did our own research and found out something we didn’t expect in a candidate for president. We have had many court challenges and most recently Pennsylvania that were tossed out on standing. The PA case was because the challenger was a republican! Didn’t matter that the issues are no partisan and constitutional. Is the posse looking at the social security fraud that make a trifecta of illegal documents. I hope you can bar BHO from general election ballot in Arizona and maybe other states will as well. Has anyone thought about suing the democrats who signed the state certifications for falsifying the truth. Some lawyer should be able to come up with a rationale to attack these scoundrals.

Beck, Limbaugh, O’Reilly and others have been, in my opinion, nothing more than Pied Pipers to lead conservatives off track. While accurate 99% (only an insider could be that accurate) of the time, the 1% of the time they are wrong, they are really wrong for America. Case in point: Back in 1994, Rush Limbaugh toyed and played with his audience for a week stating that he didn’t know where he stood on the Global Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) and the World Trade Organization (WTO) . Mind you, the WTO as the ITO in 1948 and the ITC in 1956 were rejected by Congress as an attack on American sovereignty and Congress losing the ability to control American trade policies. On Friday, 5 minutes before sign off, Rush said he supported the GATT. The vote was taken the next day on Saturday and was passed. This was a huge defeat for American sovereignty and another plus for global government. (Thank’s Rush!)
Beck, now reveals his true colors with his attack on Sheriff Arpaio’s investigation of Obama’ identity documents. Has Beck put 6 months of effort into a thorough, scientific investigation of Obama as did the MCSO Cold Case Posse? Of course not. But apparently Beck is following a different path. We have a Constitutional crisis and Beck attacks the messenger. Apparently, he has read “Rules for Radicals” too?

I am a man of constant sorrow. I remember when I didn’t have the least idea what a Conservative or a “Liberal” was. Then, in 1992, a friend told me to listen to Rush, and I found out that I was a Conservative. VERY Conservative. And now… sadly, I have to say that the people that I hoped were real… are fakes. Rush never talks about “impeachment” or eligiblity. That’s very curious to me. He sure talks a lot about football. And, at first, I stood with Glenn Beck. …Even signed up for GBTV at the premium rate. Now, I’m outta there. I can’t believe the guy. It’s stunning.
Consider this: When the eligibilty issue first came up, do you think Beck said that we need to really dig into this? No- I will remind you of what he said: He said- “People, you can’t do that.”, meaning you can’t consider ejecting “A President” from office over a lack of eligibitly. (Let’s all bow down.) Consider what he said: He didn’t say that he felt certain that B.O. was eligible, he just said “You can’t do that.” Think of what that really means. It means that- “even IF B.O. is NOT eligible, we should let him stay in office”. ?!? Somebody should ask Glenn Beck that question: If B.O. is truly NOT a Natural Born Citizen, should he be removed from office and all his acts as “president” be nullified? Ask him that and see what he says.
But I watched the clip last night of him and his two sidekicks poo-pooing Sheriff Arpaio’s investigation and the whole idea that Obama could be a usurper, and just upon the first look, I could see something else that is SO FLAWED about Beck’s “analysis” : He was saying that B.O. and his co-conspiritors “put out this obviously fake birth certificate as a joke, to befuddle us” or something. So- Glenn! I ask: “Did they issue a fradulent document, committing a felony… as a joke??” Are they that stupid? And you’re OK with this?? Are YOU that stupid?

I have a 14 month old grandson, two sons, and it saddens me that they will never live in an America, like the one I grew up in, had a successful career and marriage, and have always loved my country. I am almost glad my youngest son refused to go to College and is a Butcher for a major grocery store, because he did not get “indoctrinated” by the Left as my older son did who has a Masters degree in Telecommunications.
I have always been an Optimist, am a devout Christian, attend Church and Bible Study, have many friends from California to Florida, a large family I love, but feel “constant sorrow” over the State of our Nation, and the moral decline of our country.

Meanwhile, several herein have been critical of my calling out “one of our own,” saying that we need to “work together,” and that “there is more that unites us than that divides us.” All of that is true, but I am specifically calling on Beck (although I don’t expect him to “hear” or listen, as the truth of all of this is inescapable, frankly) to STAND for the truth, and for the Rule of Law. I appreciate all he has done in the past (I attended his 8/28 Rally, and, as I stated in the letter, was “addicted” to his show on Fox), but when the very foundation of our Republic is at stake, those who truly love America and the truth MUST NOT be MIA or AWOL! Someone also stated that “maybe he got this one wrong.” While I do not believe that that would be possible for anyone with at least a pulse and an EKG reading, THAT was not his biggest sin here. Unlike Glenn, I was born in the church, a fifth-generation Mormon…and unceasingly (eternally) proud of the fact. So, needless to say, I don’t hold Glenn’s religion against him. I am afraid, however, that “Brother Beck” was apparently not present when the myriad talks on honesty were given over the pulpit (perhaps like the president was not present when Jeremiah Wright G-damned America – no doubt on a regular basis). He (Glenn) has spoken much truth, but we don’t get to pick and choose when we will do so…not if we wish to remain trustworthy and trusted! It may also interest you to know, John, that I did not vote for Mitt Romney in the AZ Primary. I speak (and vote) the truth, as well as my conscience…wherever that might lead me.

Well as far as this diatribe on Beck goes I think if you believe you can do better;;;by all means do so. Glenn is human just like the rest of us and men of faith have questioned God’s existence since the beginning of time. Often they get lost for awhile only to come back to the fold with more strength and insight. That old saying about hitting rock bottom is often true. But as far as I am concerned there’s no doubt.. He exists! But that doesn’t say that Glenn is a bad man or a hopeless one , and perhaps he thinks that even if Arpaio proves that BO is fraudulently occupying the Oval office that it will most likely not be pursued? Judging people lately seems to be easy. Be careful about those judgements because it can backfire on you. And as to Sarah? Just what has she done that has so many folks on her case? I guess female patriots aren’t welcome in this still oriented man’s world? I’m for anyone who has the guts and fortitude to stand up for our freedoms; be it male or female.

I watched the Glenn Beck show on Fox every night for the past couple of years until it ended. Here in Ireland, it is extremely difficult to get anything other than pro-Obama, Democrat, left wing liberal media coverage, apart from going online and reading sites such as this one. I also avidly perused the writings of Carol Coulter, Michelle Malkin, etc. They reinforced my own strongly held views. Imagine my disgust when these very people gave Obama a free ride on the birth certificate issue. Their acquiescence with the pontifications of Obamaniacs has enabled worldwide leftist media to laugh hysterically at anybody who even whispers that there should be a full and public investigation into Obama’s credentials. Are they afraid of the chaos that might ensue, or is it that they really, at the end of the day, couldn’t give a damn as long as they are making big bucks from their own comments? Sad, and getting sadder by the day. Wake up America – you are the ONLY hope for the future of Western civilization. Instead of condemning ,we should be looking for ways all these people and organizations can begin to work in concert. There are plenty on the left who are willing and able to write negative things about people in the patriot movement. After all is Rush supporting Joe Arpaio? What then if he is not ? Does it erase all Rush means to patriot Americans? By now all are aware of Fox’s softening on the president. Are you surprised? The government has sky news to hold over their heads and most likely a head start here in America. Not an excuse rather the reason. Billy boy has always been arrogant and now has to reel it in.
I don’t listen to any of the talking heads, they are all cowards and more worried about their income than the nation. What they fail to understand is when the nation goes under, so does their income!
Someone made Glenn Beck an “offer he couldn’t refuse”, but unlike Breitbart, who said “go to hell”, Glenn wet himself and turned into a spineless worm. It could be that Breitbart paid the ultimate price for his answer, but I get some degree of solace in the old quote, “a coward dies a thousand deaths, the brave but one.” Breitbart LIVES….Beck, well he’s somewhere in that thousand deaths zone.
I have long been a fan of Glenn, but lately I have started seriously questioning his position on various issues. He has literally destroyed every Republican candidate, one at a time, and without suggesting who he might alternatively support. This looks to me to be a ploy to keep Obama in the White-House while all the time complaining about him and his policies, as food for program. I thought long and hard about this, and concluded that guys in this business, like O’Reilly, Glenn, et al, would have far less to talk and complain about (which is the sustenance of their business) if Obama was no longer president (also with a small p).
Then there is the more mercenary side that I have noted. These guys will relate more about the hair-raising tale woe if you buy a subscription to their private web site. In addition, if you get the Blaze email, read the headline and decide to get more info by going to the web site. Once there you find the selection for the article you were looking for far down the list. This is a marketing ploy that is so irritating that I now rarely go to the web site. Then when you close your browser you discover one or more windows (that you thought you got rid of) trying to sell you something, and have to close them before you can go look at your next email.
Everybody has a pop-up blocker, but now it’s one or more completely new windows they concoct, either on the web site or left on your screen after you leave the web site. I have long since crossed the “hard sell” sites off my list, and now I’ll be damned if people like Glenn Beck aren’t doing it. Glenn et al complain about the mercenary politicians, but have no problem doing this kind of crap!
Sorry Glenn, O’reilly etc… this may be capitalism at its best, but the “by damn you will look at these ads” attitude reminds me of Obama’s mandates!!!

I have always had difficulty with some of the positions Glenn takes on some issues. But guess what; I have difficulties with most every observation made in this forum. That does not mean I can’t agree with the majority of the stances taken by most of you, or with Glenn. I do not expect perfection from Glenn or anyone else, because that would mean I would have to be perfect. I disagree greatly with his treatment of the sheriff and Glenn’s take on Obama’s credentials. I agree, however, with 99% of what he says regarding Obama, the media, God, Israel, and many other issues. I pray for him and his safety. I also pray for his accuracy. Without a doubt, Obama is the worst president we have ever had. He appears to be attempting to fundamentally destroy America. For him and his ilk to tread on the Constitution does not mean the Constitution is flawed. It is the treatment of the Constitution we see from those sworn to defend and uphold the Constitution that is flawed. We, the people of the United State, are the government, as set forth in our founding documents. It is we the people who are not only stupid enough to vote for representatives that would tread on our Constitution, but passive enough to stand by while those elected take our rights away, one-by-one. We do not want a democracy, as has been proposed by someone who thinks he can draft a better Constitution than our founding fathers. Democracies always commit suicide by voting for benefits that will bankrupt and destroy the country under that democracy. Nor do we want the government dictating “rights” that are not God ordained. A government should never have the right or liberty to determine what a “fair wage” is. That should be determined by the free market. When will we all say “that is enough” and stop picking on the only ones who have the guts to publicly stand up against the Marxist, communist, socialist, and perverse administration and media, not to mention each other? No wonder so many are leaving our country and giving up their citizenship, here. Our government has dictated to the world (every bank in the world) that they either have to conform to reporting requirements or our government will put them out of business or charge those banks that don’t comply with criminal charges. The arrogance our own government (Uncle Samson) exhibits, with regard to dictating rules and regulations to every nation on earth, is beyond comprehension and inexcusable.
As a former Beck watcher when he was on Fox, I noticed he had an achilles heel: his concern with being labeled a “racist”. He went out of his way to praise Martin Luther King Jr. without doing the kind of critical analysis of King that someone like Ann Coulter has. If he could accept the fact that pursuing the truth will make you a “racist” or a “birther”, he could allow himself to look at the eligibility matter objectively. Sheriff Joe has faced the racism charge for years; therefore, even though he did not appear to relish the position he found himself in, he studied the facts and reached a reasonable conclusion — the birth certificate image on the Internet is not proof of anything other than evidence of a misrepresentation.
If Bill Clinton were only as successful at demonizing his accusers as Obama is. We might still believe he did not have sexual relations with that woman, Ms. Lewinsky. If Anthony Weiner had denigrated his detractors as “weenies” or some other moniker, he might still be in Congress. If we allowed illegal aliens to “prove” U.S. citizenship with a .pdf image on a website, the U.S. would be overrun by illegals tomorrow. When I renew my passport or driver’s license, I intend to do so with my birth certificate on my Ipad. How far do you think I will get? Sheriff Joe had it right: Obama could put this to rest by submitting his documents to forensic examination. Here’s another idea: set up an exhibit in the National Archives so the entire American public can examine your birth certificate, Selective Service registration, passport applications and college records in document form. Let me see and touch the papers with my own hands under the watchful eye of a security guard and I will stand in the public square and apologize to Obama.
If Glenn Beck had held a week of shows examining the birth certificate and other fraudulent documents and came to the conclusion that we “birthers” are uninformed or plain wrong, I would respect him and still be a fan. However, his words and actions tell me he has never given the issue a fair hearing (no one of prominence has except Sheriff Joe and Donald Trump, almost). Birthers of the world, unite!

Well said. The vehemently-aggressive, juvenile ridicule Glen and his “wacky sidekicks” spew at people who question Obama’s eligibility is bizarrely disproportionate to the importance of the issue, and inexplicable to me.
I swore off Beck last summer, and the small segments of his radio show I occasionally hear have done nothing to draw me back. I was delighted when WLAC Nashville lopped off the first hour of his show and gave it to syndicated host Steve Gill as a fourth hour of his show. I tune away or turn the radio off when Glen comes on, and tune back for Rush.
His knee-jerk worship of Martin Luther King and Gandhi tell me he is pretty shallow, and I no longer give much credence to his opinions without checking elsewhere..

Donald Trump was part of the setup allowing Obama to produce a “birth certificate” and wave it triumphantly.
After the certificate was shown, Trump went back to his own show, his bit for Obama having been carried out.
The term, “birther”. was coined as an Alinsky tactic, used to ridicule the opposition. The real reason people in Washington are afraid to push ahead with removal of Obama, is because he threatened a race war. Apparently Soros, CAIR, ACORN, the Black Panthers, etc. are ready to be called into action if Obama is removed.
I’m not sure I know exactly what it is your trying to say here. Glenn does get involved in those things he can prove unequivocally. However, he cannot at the present time prove or disprove what Sheriff Joe Arpaio has said. Any statement he or for that matter anyone of those named within this article would be pure speculation. I personally believe Sheriff Joe is 100% correct in his suggestion just as do many others, but that is not a conviction, and if obama is ever to be tried for this horrific crime it is best those folks named in this article stay out of it. Those commentators who wish to stick to the truth do not often speculate on what is true and what isn’t. That is left up to the fools on MSNBC and other stations like them. It does seem to me the real result of Sheriff Joe’s report will to some degree add fuel to the fire of the States demanding he prove he is constitutionally qualified to run for the office. I do not see even the constitutional challenge to him holding the office unless he is reelected somehow. At that time I suspect the proverbial crap will hit the fan!

I agree with the general comments. I gave up on O’Reilly a little over a year ago (funny, not long after that Saudi prince purchased 10% of Fox news) and I find myself slow, but steadily, going the same way with Glenn. What a shame. I used to think he was totally in my side!

Many lawyers say a citizen is one born in this country; a natural born citizen is one born to 2 parents who are citizens ( i.e. John McCain). Obama is neither. Unfortunately, the right will soon see “Leftee birthers” if Rubio is picked for vice presidental candidate.
Oh hell…i’m groaning in “symbolized pain” to hear this coming from patriots towards other patriots…I’m sooo disappointed in many ways. I hate to tell you the bad new folks, Glenn Beck is no longer on Fox News because of pressure from George Soros and leftwing groups–Roger Ailes caved to their pressure and canceled Glenn just as they have now done with Judge Andrew Napolitano’s “Freedom Watch”. You won’t get Greta, Hannity, O’Reilly, etc to say anymore than they’ve already said about BaROKE Owebumbler and the corruption in the White House. It will take years before this country will really get the investigative exposure to uncover the biggest sham on this country since the Income Tax and Federal Reserve were instituted in Woodrow Wilson’s administration, giving birth to the marxist movement that’s now making its strongest push to socialize our total economic, financial system and private lives.
I was suspicious of Fox when Glenn Beck left. That suspicion has been confirmed; Fox is NOT “fair and balanced” anymore.
But then again, neither is Glenn Beck!
The fact is, I began having my suspicions during the GOP campaign issues from the beginning. Nothing he ever said was that bad, but it seemed he was going more and more toward Romney, and everyone thought that was because Romney is Mormon.
Sorry, that’s not it – Romney is just a replacement for Obama. Just in case, and his supporter all along has been GB in my opinion. That’s my opinion, but I would just as soon write in Allan West or Sarah Palin than Romney. He is the backup of Obama should something bad happen to the Democratic goal of keeping power, or has anyone remembered “RomneyCare”?
Since when does the government have the right to FORCE us to buy insurance of any type? I cannot recall the Constitution giving that power to the Feds.
What Beck and other fence-riding political figures need to understand about this grave issue is that every action, law, decree, runaround the Congress/Constitution, et al is null and void if a usurper (read: ineligible POTUS) to the Presidency holds the office. Not only does said usurper shred our Constitution and provide a dangerous example for future aspirers (recall how Mombasa and Kenyan officials were crowing about how now they know that an African can hold the highest office in the most powerful nation in the world?) to the post, but it holds every single action of himself and his spouse as suspect.
There are clear signposts of such trickledown effects; consider Terry Lakin’s plight when he simply asked for evidence that he was following legal and Constitutional orders under a Commander in Chief who had the right to order him back to the war zone? He was imprisoned and stripped of rank/rights after an unimpeachable military career! There are many other examples but the message is clear; if you are unwilling to be properly vetted for such a weighty responsibility, you are ineligible. If you are willing to be vetted and do not qualify, you cannot run for office.
Beck used the pressure under Murdoch’s rule at FoxNews to blame his situation in New York and when he was ousted from the station, I held hope that he would finally show sense in ALL political arenas. Such hasn’t been the case and, while I support his decision to not speak to Obama’s eligibility, I reject his decision to spew his vitriol over those of us who see far beyond the polarizing aspect of the issue to the respect and love for the Constitution and the country that is rapidly disappearing.
Intellectual, emotional, and spiritual maturity would govern the outbursts of people who have balance; while I respect some of Beck’s positions, this has proven to be a real eye-opener for me. In this area – if no other – he remains stuck in a child-like position of ridicule and vitriol when his former followers question his myopia on this topic.
I watched Sarah Palin’s “The Undefeated”. It showed her many accomplishments in the offices she held, from mayor of Wasilla,to governor of Alaska. She is a strong, gutsy woman, who is not afraid to speak the truth. During the 2008 elections, I frankly believe McCain was intended to fail. When Sarah Palin said that Obama “hung out with terrorists”., she was silenced by the McCain team. They would not let her speak with reporters or go on talk shows. If you watch the program on the Reelz TV channel, tonight at 10PM, EST, March 12, you will see for yourselves that Sarah would make a great president.
If you follow politics, McCain was “picked” by DemocRATS and leftwing to oppose Owebumbler in the election in–they crossed party lines to vote in primaries and caucuses for the weakest candidate they could select to assure Owebumbler would win. McCain got nominated not by a majority of conservatives but by DemocRATS, leftwing and RINO’s–GOP was set up to lose the ’08 contest just as they were when Clinton beat H.W. Bush after DemocRAT controlled Congress got Bush to agree to TAX increases to cover budget DEFICITS created by the DemocRAT spending in Congress, using that “no more taxes” pledge against him when he ran for re-election. GOP was set up again nominating Bob Dole to run against Clinton for second term–no way Dole would get enough support to win just as McCain was destined to deliberately fail. This upcoming election could see one of the most violent times in U.S. since the 60′s riots–it’s their last stand for the muslim trojan horse and a halt to their marching marxist manipulation machine.

If ALL of Glenn’s faithful (without any doubt the VAST MAJORITY of his audience) who are appalled at both his refusal to even CONSIDER the more-than-obvious facts here and his OPEN mockery of all not so cowardly or deluded, would DO this, he would obviously cease and desist. I personally have no use for ANYONE who will lie openly (no matter their PAST record – integrity is a CURRENT event) about a matter of such profound significance to our nation…just because he cluelessly caters to the Elites (who already despise him), and equally absurdly believes (apparently) that his highly-informed audience is equally clueless. Have to disagree with you wholeheartedly, there is a battle going on inside the GOP right now for control. The RINO’s are fighting hard to keep Orrin Hatch, Lugar, Bacchus and others in Congress even as Tea Party/Conservative groups have them targeted for defeat. Olympia Snowe is giving up the fight but getting a conservative GOP member elected in Maine is almost impossible, a moderate will be better than losing the seat to DemocRATS. Forget the DemocRAT party–it can’t be saved until it loses several major elections and realizes the marxist agenda doesn’t sell in a country more conservative than not, the focus needs to be in REFORMING the GOP from the inside including taking over local precincts, state districts and inside the national party. The two parties are NOT THE SAME, there are distinct differences in Conservative principles and thinking that elevate it above RINO’s and the DemocRAT party–getting involvement by the public to refudiate progressive agenda and expand Conservative base in Congress, state govts. will diminish the control in DC, especially with a major shakeup such as happened in ’10 elections.
With respect, Sir, what 2010 brought us was a Republican “led” House, which I think can be defined by one simple word: Abdication. I would have used “Compromise,” but that would imply that we obtained something in the bargain. With respect again, the Tea Party marked the beginning of a Second Revolution (unless we wish to refer to the current Marxist Revolution that is in full swing). IOW, we have seen a sea change. While it may have been true in the past that a Third Party would only defeat a “Conservative” candidate, if John Boehner and Eric Cantor are the best that we can find in the way of “conservative” Republicans, then there is no such thing…upon Earth (to quote Thomas Paine, from “The American Crisis”).
I will not be voting Democrat anytime soon, but as Christ pointedly observed: “Neither do men put new wine into new bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved” (Mathew 9:17). The “new wine” in this case, in fact predates the Republican party, but it is entirely new to this generation, and it would seem impossible that the Republican Party can “hold it.”
If we are to continue to have more of Socialist (now full-bore Marxist) “Lite,” then we are only deceiving ourselves. Both paths lead to the identical end. So if we expect to SAVE the country for our Children or Grandchildren, then we MUST restore the original truths upon which our nation was founded – i.e., the Constitution. At present we offer only lip service to its precepts. Until we have candidates who are willing to stop PASSING laws and start REPEALING them, then we will continue (at whatever speed) on the pass to totalitarianism. So we will either EARNESTLY set about to REVERSE course (not just “slow the rate of growth” – which is the BEST that we have attempted to do over the past 80 years or so), or we mock the notion of EVER being free (or a free nation) again! So show me the Republican or Republicans who will even SPEAK of such things, and I will follow them. I can name three: Mike Lee, Rand Paul (his father is retiring), and Jim DeMint, but they are 3 of nearly 300…and 1% is not much of a showing after an election in which we DOMINATED at the polls. I can assure you that in AZ, in our so-called “veto-proof” Republican-”led” legislature, we have so far not even managed to get an “eligibility bill” out of committee! That, my friends, is both ignorance (and/or willful blindness – the latter, I believe) as well as cowardice…and the Republicans OWN the House, the Senate, the Governorship (she vetoed last year’s eligibility bill), and the Secretary of State (who also wants nothing to do with this matter…his oath of office – like all the rest – notwithstanding!).

Well said! I have recently received several pieces of mail asking to send money in order to stem the tide of voter fraud. While I do believe that is a worthy effort, some of the same people (National Review, if I recall correctly) pushing this have been completely MIA (AWOL, actually) on the eligibility issue.
I was interviewed Friday afternoon by Mark Gillar for the Tea Party Power Hour, which aired Saturday morning. Just before me he had on a fellow named Shapiro from Breitbardt.com. Mark, as an informed and courageous Patriot, confronted him directly about his reticence on the issue of Arpaio’s investigation. He lamely replied that he just “didn’t believe it.” He, like Beck and all the rest gave no substantive (or ridiculous, for that matter) reason. (What reason could there possibly be? Are we to “take him at his word” as John Boehner lamely apologized to David Gregory a few days before the O’Reilly segment that prompted my writing? Why, I ask, would any SANE or HONEST person “take the word” of a psychopathic liar? Has anyone reading this EVER heard him make a single honest statement…other than that “under my Cap & Trad policy, energy prices would necessarily skyrocket” and that we were “five days away from fundamentally transforming America”? I didn’t think so…but I digress!)
Bottom line: When I was being interviewed by Mark Gillar, something came into clear focus for me, and it was exactly YOUR comment. The “eligibility” issue is of the highest importance. You call it “everything,” and you are right. Simply put, it is THE issue. George Sorros has placed this Manchurian Candidate in the People’s House, and he (George…Barack…they are one in the same) is systematically dismantling both the economy (that’s what Sorros does for a “living,” by the way) and the Constitution (as recently as Friday, as you are all now aware), with the full support of the co-dependent media (both “sides”)…and we are supposed to ignore that the puppet has NO legitimate identifying documents (nor history, for anyone interested). But what do Shapiro (and even Breitbardt prior to his apparent rekindled interest in Arpaio’s investigation – his last interview a few hours before taking his last breath…courtesy of…?) say about this matter? That it is “a distraction.” No, friends, this is central to the very foundation of our republic. It is called the Constitution and the Rule of Law. We fought the first American Revolution over a Tyrannical King. George I (not called that in the history books) was a rank amateur when compared to his current namesake (George II). In comparison, the offenses perpetrated by the American Monarch extant (and/or his puppet master) would require “caffeinating” far more than the Boston Harbor in protest. An equivalent cargo of Red Bull would hardly be sufficient. So speak out, my friends, and do not fear the elites. We should fear God, more than man…for the latter can only destroy the body…while we ourselves (if we forsake the truth by remaining silent) can destroy our souls. As Deitrich Bonhoeffer (Beck’s idol…in epic irony!) warned (prophetically): “To remain silent in the face of evil IS evil. To fail to speak is to speak. To fail to act is to act!” I will only add that while EVERYONE who is willing to know CLEARLY knows the truth of this mater, we can only save OURSELVES (and hopefully our country, in the bargain!) by FEARLESSLY stating it, and holding accountable ALL who fail to do so…or to act in accordance therewith! So if your state does not have an eligibility bill pending, you must tell your Tea Party-elected representatives to create one. If it does, as is the case here in AZ, we must DEMAND that our reps support it! God bless our efforts!

If you check, you’ll see that Obama usually issues executive orders on the eve of holidays or weekends, when he figures most people will not be paying attention. He is one sneaky SOB.
Such input to force a decision, choose your weapon, or “don’t believe it”. If this is “central”, why isn’t even the smallest of pro-constitutional representatives wedging in harder. Bring an eligibility mandate to the floor and with a few sigs and what would happen, it would appear as a ghost, somewhat like you and I. Even if it had say 50 signatures, come time for that measure and it would fall through the floor. Bah, better rethink and rethink and again, because the founders just might have disowned us (them) in some respects by now. Well if its fear that seems to be the fuel today (which appears to be on both sides of this issue), then what measures can we take to heighten ramifications to traitorous treatment of that constitution? We need to spread out a lot more sounds like, high-low, insulated and exposed. We may be treating a disease, but in and for the sake of unity of this central cause, let fear be their chief concern.
They are beginning to see – and will soon see even more clearly – that those of us who are aware (and unafraid) of the truth of this matter (regardless of what Congress will or will not do) will no longer remain silent. The ultimate arbiters of what will happen here are the People – you and I, and countless others just like us – and we will soon WIN this war in the court of Public Opinion. All that people need is to be exposed to the truth, and a KEY in that is to expose those on “our side” who have openly (ironically) covered it up!

I here read whtt the readers are posting about what must be done to get this illegal, phony, lying POTUS out of office. I agree 100% I am doing everything my health and pocketbook will allow even though I do not think there are enough voters to get the job done. There are very many reasons for this. Out of all the reasons I can think of this is the biggest reason I think that there is no way for him to lose.
BHO has BILLIONS backing him and more pledged if needed. Thre are too many people who can be persuaded, bought, bribed, blackmailed or threatened!!! Without reading all the comments, my belief about Glenn Beck and Bill O’Reilly in not standing behind the investigative findings of Sheriff Arpaio and the Cold Case Posse is because they would be afraid of how much money they’d lose when they go on tour. They would be of course subjected to the left’s assault of being a ‘birther’ and they won’t stand for that. Oh no, too many dollars might be lost if they supported the sheriff’s findings. I think it’s all about the revenue they might lose if they sided with the sheriff.
Sheriff Arpaio said he had affidavits from some talk show hosts, that not only their careers were threatened, but also their families and employees.

Great post. I agree that it is the money in large measure, but am not sure which is bigger: the money or their “credentials” as ruling elites. Funny to call Beck that, but once they become “established” (i.e. rich and famous), then they apparently aren’t willing to risk either (money or “credibility”). I’m not sure which is the bigger issue – and it may well vary from person to person (and no doubt does) – but this issue has been almost universally shunned (or ridiculed) by “Conservatives” in both media and elected office. Having pondered this once more, while writing my response, I believe it is the fear of rejection by other “important” people. (Can one imagine George Will tackling this issue? Charles Krauthammer, Mort Kondracke, Fred Barnes, Jonah Goldberg, et al.? No, because it would be too “fringe,” right?) So, while they may rationalize that they can’t “afford” to take this position – because it could place their income at risk – the real issue is that they don’t want their suavity questioned. IOW, these are not topics that one would discuss at the country club, or on Martha’s Vineyard.
Meanwhile, Richard, you’d enjoy reading O’Reilly, as it addresses all of this, and takes on the elites in both parties.
