Congressman Allen West made a big mistake! He thinks he’s an American Black instead of a Black American.
What’s the difference, some ask?
Plenty!
If you’re centrist right or left and of primarily African ancestry, your definition of “Black American” spans a spectrum running the gamut from Thurgood Marshall to Clarence Thomas, representing the two majority camps in the community using that term.
Far-left Black folks interpret “Black American” as meaning political prisoners owing allegiance to the former, not the latter. They view America as their “enemy”, ‘oppressor”, and other often-cited terms.
Conservatives like Congressman Allen West see themselves as American Blacks, citizens whose loyalty is first to this country and then our community.
Black folks aren’t political prisoners, according to community members like West. We’re Americans who’ve been disenfranchised by a double dose of past domestic segregation and imported socialism.
While Black dissidents passionately hate America and White conservatives, their rage at patriots like West is apoplectic.
They form a rancid rainbow coalition with White leftists who hate America too to launch private COINTELPRO-style attacks against Black conservatives.
Every kind of racist, lurid language was deployed to smear West as a race-traitor, a war criminal, and a dupe for White supremacists.
His outspoken patriotism and forcefulness made them fear a conservative “Black Messiah” who’d lure Blacks and others away from the Left.
Ironically, just as prejudiced 1960s public/private partnerships targeted charismatic civil rights and nationalist leaders from Dr. King to Malcolm X, Congressman West experienced the liberal version.
Toppling this charismatic conservative spokesman became top priority for the Obama administration, the Democratic National Committee, and Black America’s pigmentary politburo.
Hoover’s FBI used poison pen campaigns to break up activists’ marriages and start war between rival groups. One prime example are the original Black Panthers and socialist scholar Ron Karenga’s US ( United Slaves ) organization.
Karenga is also alleged by detractors to have been an FBI informant during this same turbulent time period.
Congressman West’s frequent media appearances were rebutted by a national rumor mill, campaign ads depicting him hitting White women, and a new low: spinning wartime love letters to his wife as imaginary proof of sexual deviancy.
The letter stunt reminded me of FBI tapes documenting Dr. King’s alleged extramarital affairs mailed to his wife and the more recent Anita Hill disinformation campaign, deployed during Justice Clarence Thomas’ confirmation hearings.
Racists on both sides of the aisle demonize Blacks deemed”uppity.” In their narrow minds, only opinions aligned with theirs are permissible, Allen West scares liberals. Someone as forceful as Farrakhan who isn’t anti-White and anti-Semitic makes them tremble.
A biased Black base keeps Democrats in power. Serious threats to that stranglehold must be discredited.
Congressman West’s reelection defeat is seen as effectively silencing him. All they’ve done is give the Right its greatest proof of the bigotry infesting the modern Left.
Allen West is an “uppity” Black patriot liberals feared would lure American Blacks away from the Democratic Party.
I also think they worry he’s a future presidential contender.
I hope they’re right. The more “uppity” patriots like Allen West we get, the fewer liberal front men, leftist politicians, crack dealers, gangs, and addicts Black America has to endure.
Sounds like the promised land to me!

This is a great article. Allen West is just a freedom-loving, patriotic American. He doesn’t believe the lies of the liberals that America is a bad country and our founding fathers were rich, racist, white men. In matter of fact, our founding fathers put their lives, fortunes and reputations on the line to win freedom for America. Most of them either lost their lives or a loved-one’s life. Many of them lost all they had. Thomas Jefferson died in bankruptcy. So, if our liberal-controlled schools would tell the truth Americans may have a different view of our Founding Fathers. If Allen West runs for President I will not hesitate to vote for him — a God-fearing, freedom-loving true American patriot.

Alan West has something to be uppity about. Look at him. He is an awsome human being. As for the black stuff, it is getting sickening. Consider the source, just jealous natured people who envy and are jealous. I am not a black man but I would vote for this man in a heartbeat. He is many cuts above that piece of humanity (Obama) in our White House who hates America or he would not have thought Americans fool enough not to eventually get on to who and what he is. He is a fringe baiter, this Obama (Obummer.) Alan West, on the other hand is a leader, a real man with courage and everything good that Obama is not. That “Uppity” is no more than moral courage that those who cannot see it are lacking. Go Alan, we are still behind you.
Modern Democrats’ cannot think above their or some elses’ belt line.
There are not that many people for Obama, they just cheat with zeal.
‘Uppity’ is an ugly work and should be reserved for people like Obama, Sharpton, Jackson, Wright, Rangel, Waters and their ilk.
Allen West took his hard work, education, mental acumen, military history and condinued dedication to this country, and was, to me, a beacon of hope. He didn’t get into Congress riding someone else’s coat tails. The suspicion that someone or something was behind his defeat crossed my mind. Now I wonder if there are any ethical people in politics; what a loss not having this man in Congress and eventually in the Oval Office. Politics is such a dirty game.
It wasn’t just the disgusting attacks on Allen West it was the VOTER FRAUD!
Now to the intelligence of the race that makes you wonder who would vote against a man of his character, which has been proven to be above reproach unlike the DemocRATS! The answer is the communist educational system that we have allowed to happen in our schools. Allen West’s service to his country was exempliary and a man who put his career on the line to save his comrades in arms! His intelligence which is so far above obama’s and the majority of any elected official is of the highest degree as he has shown on his knowledge of the Constitution, Bill of Rights and anything to do with the history of the United States and the laws . I, a white conservative, would have voted for him in a flash! I have more adminiration for this man than any Republican and definitely for any democrat. I hope he does run for president if we are allowed to have another run in 2016. The problem is the Republican Party and who they have as THEIR next person THEY consider in line to run.
I can only hope Allen West is on his way to a Presidential run. He would be my preferred candidate over any that have been on the scene in at least the last 40 years from any political party. And in my opinion I believe West would still be in congress if not for the same voter fraud and corruption infused into the election system by the liberals that put Obama in power in 2008 and 2012, Al Franken in the Senate and who knows how many more liberal freaks with the votes turning up in abandoned cars in shopping center parking lots. Not to mention the 2012 critical congressional districts with 180 per cent of the registered voter turnout. Now I don’t know what that tells the Federal Election Commission but to me it says the liberal Obama Chicago corruption has infected the entire country and Wash.d.c. is very sick and I doubt anything short of a Sandy or Katrina sending it into the Atlantic ocean will disinfect it. The catch phrase, don’t like it write your congressman is just not working, they simply say ” the election is over we just have to work hard and fix the problems so send your contribution.
We need leaders with courage like Mr. West. He was willing to lose his freedom for the safety of the troops he led. There are few current “leaders” in this country that are fit to polish his boots.
God bless West and I am not religious. He is the best of the best. Oh…and I am not the same color as the writer.
This is a unique perspective that really helps people understand how we got to this point. Historically, white people have idolized men of Col. Allen Wests stature. Examples- General Patton, General MacArthur, General and President Dwight D. Eisenhower. We respected their Patriotism, their strength, their bravery, courage, leadership and intelligence. This article was written brilliantly, and the writer has a real grasp of a situation that most of us have struggled to understand. I have a great admiration and respect for Col. Allen West, I feel our Congress has lost an intelligent, honorable patriot but, I have hopes that this opens a door to a 2016 run for President. As the white mother of two half black sons, I walk both roads, but thanks to this writer, I am taking his cue, and will reach out with a more objective perspective.
Our government is not looking for honorable people.They are looking for semi-intelligent humans with the ability to take orders, lie effectively, stand by their party right or wrong, Be a scapegoat if necessary, and make it a priority to advocate and support whoever is giving the most or promising the most.
I liked Allen West, as a Congressman, however, he was not perfect, for a number of reasons, he voted in favor of the Patriot Act and he also voted in favor of Senator John McCain’s un-constitutional National Defense Authorization Act, which allows a president to imprison American citizen’s without due legal process. Thew again, without a doubt, he was better for America than 99.9% of the Democrats in power.
I was very disappointed he voted for NDAA, but that said, I dearly love Allen West. I would vote for him in a hearbeat. He is the exact person we need in Washington. Islam is one of my fears and he will stand up to it and call it out. He knows it like the back of his hand. This war we are in has got to stop, the way it is being done), we will surely lose. We have to address it for what it is, WAR, not give them every opportunity to get us first, and if they miss we have a chance. I’m still not real possitive about Osama, we have NO proof, only THEY said we killed him. So many lies, I don’t know whether to believe it or not.

Personally I really liked Congressman West. I prayed he would be re-elected but due to so much fraud in most of the elections that I have read about unfortunately a lot of gifted, intelligent and caring individuals that ran a true and honest race are gone now. Temporarily!!! I also read where the State of Georgia wants West to come to Georgia and run for Congress there they have opened their doors to him because of who and what he represents and believes in. I am from the mid west and what caught my eyes and ears when Congressman West dared to let the proverbial cat out of the bag on how many card carrying socialists are in Congress, well lets put it this way I got very sick to my stomach, what a shocker. I recently found a site that showed the pictures and in depth explanations as to who they are and what they have been up to. WOW WOW WOW. I am proud of Congressman West for revealing this information and it was an eye opener as to where this once beautiful country is being DRUG down to and where it is headed unless this train wreck headed for nowhere can be stopped and before the electoral vote happens. I so see Congressman West coming back one way or another he will. He may have lost the battle but he will win the war. We the People need to stand strong and keep our God given faith that as the saying goes: it is always darkest before the dawn. Things are happening behind the scenes lately that still give a flicker of hope for all of the wrong this administration has done can still be righted. I love this country so very much and what our forefathers did through all of their best efforts to help create such wonderful words as “in God we Trust” we need to now put our total trust in God to help us get through these dark times. I sense that Congressman West will let go of what was and open up to what still can be with courage, strength and support he will. I also still feel very strongly that the reason Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are running silent and running deep (in other words not commenting publicly in any way) is because something is still ongoing here regarding the voter fraud and also with other investigations still happening. I have thought it to be so odd that nothing is coming from either one of them. This could really get interesting before the year end from what I have read, but only God knows right? LTC Allen West, US Army, Retired, should be planning his stratigies for the 2916 presidental election. There isn’t any doubt in my former military mind that if He runs for the Office of President, he would be elected. Consider this, his base would the Active Duty, Retired and Veterans of all wars from all branches of the military.
What scares me the most is that our country is willing to stand by and allow the underhanded cheap political tricks that seem to be in vouge this past election.

Allen West supported the Patriot Act, voted for the NDAA and HR 347 (all devastating blows to the Bill Of Rights). He also voted to increase the debt limit and then complained about the deficit spending (huh?). And did little to stop Obamacare. If that is your idea of a Patriot…..good luck to you. Allen West did not fulfill his promises in D.C. and deserved to lose. The TEA party should have been the first people to oppose his re-election. He talks a great game on the campaign trail and on Sean Hannity but votes like a RINO.
