BALTIMORE (WJZ)– Just days after President Barack Obama announced his support for same-sex marriage, pastors and priests around Maryland took to their own pulpits with their reaction– and in some cases– condemnation of the president.
Derek Valcourt explains the president’s comments have folks on both sides of the issue fired up.
Both sides hope the president’s position helps sway votes in their favor when the issue hits Maryland’s ballot this November.
“I think same-sex couples should be able to get married,” Obama said.
When Obama announced that his position on same-sex marriage had evolved, it outraged some African-American pastors like Pastor and Del. Emmett Burns.

but they’ll STILL VOTE for him
No they won’t. The only blacks that will vote for him are going to be the groups like the new Black Panthers, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, people like that. If these ministers have the courage to speak out against if from their pulpits, then there’s no way they’ll vote for him. However, what the membership does, may be a different matter. A lot of people are finally getting their eyes opened to Obama.
The real advantage would be if they separate the name Obama from the policies of the liberals and actually look at the policies the Democrats are espousing and compare those policies used by them with actual results, such as Detroit, once one of the most productive cities in the USA.
There must be 5000 Americans of African descent that are so much more qualified to be president than the current POTUS.
The current joke of Al and Jesse is, “No wonder BHO is screwing up so much, he’s half white!”
Hopefully Americans of all ethnic backgrounds can see through this “Emperor and his new clothes” facade being paraded through the media in the USA.
It is the classic “Peter principle” with Barry Soetaro. IE he has risen to the level of total inefficiency.
He is in so far over his head but refuses to admit or even acknowledge it because he really and truly doesn’t think so.
He is so intoxocated with his own popularity his vision and judgement are seriously impared.
He thinks whatever he says or does is right and how dare anyone not agree with him.
Personally I think his a grave danger to this country, a loose cannon, if you will.
He is capable of doing anything if he feels it may help him get re-elected and that, my fellow Americans of all ethnic backgrounds, is very very scary.

Why don’t they care that Obama pretends to be black?
He is not the son of the black Luo tribesman who adopted him.
His birth father was probably white, his birth mother predominantly Polynesian.
