On Friday’s World News on ABC, correspondent Jonathan Karl informed viewers of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s unsubstantiated charge that Mitt Romney has not paid taxes in 10 years, with the ABC correspondent dismissing the accusation as “outrageous and apparently unfounded.”
Karl went on to note that Reid “offered not one shred of evidence, drawing ridicule from late night comedian Jon Stewart.”
As he theorized that Reid was trying to bait the GOP presidential candidate into releasing more of his tax returns, Karl then revisited the subject of Romney’s taxes and the GOP candidate’s refusal to tell ABC’s David Muir whether he had ever paid “lower than 13.9 percent.”
Below is a transcript of the relevant portion of the Friday, August 3, World News on ABC:
JONATHAN KARL: Campaigning in Nevada, Romney also had to deal with a different set of numbers, the amount he pays in taxes.
MITT ROMNEY: I have paid taxes every year, and a lot of taxes, a lot of taxes.
KARL: He was responding to an outrageous and apparently unfounded allegation from Harry Reid, the top Democrat in the Senate.
HARRY REID, SENATE MAJORITY LEADER: The word is, he hasn’t paid any taxes for 10 years.

Can it be true the MSM is finally waking up????? No, I suppose not………
I am sure that if Mitt had not paid taxes in 10 years then the Obummer administration would have the IRS down on his butt. So apparently he has paid taxes and is probably just getting some tax breaks like, say GE??? Obummers friends??? But, at least Mitt is not ripping off every citizen in the US and those in his own home state like Harry “The Crook” Reid is doing.
I see that anyone accused of anything is now guilty and has to prove his innocents. I do not know when this change came about, but I am sure it started with the Greatest Snake Oil Salesman of all time OBAMA. Now the corrupt Reid has stated things with no facts and Romney is guilty automatically. Now I ask just why the Corrupt Reid has not been impeached on bribery charges, for he did bribe two corrupt Senators for their votes for Obamacare. When these Senators balk a little the corrupt Reid went into the back room and closed door to make changes to sweetened the pie for they corrupt Senators who then voted yea for the bill which they did not read. Of course Pelosi with her infamous quote. “We have to pass this bill to find out what is in it.” Now isn’t that the greatest you every heard? Reid hasn’t been impeached because he is being protected by the brotherhood of corrupt Senators like mine from New Mexico.
Romney should offer to share 10 years of his tax returns after Pres. obama, joe biden, harry reid, nancy pelosi, barney frank and charlie rangel share 10 years of their most recent returns… My bet is that not one of these socalist would do so.
