Fort Hood Massacre: A Day of Media Cowardice
The brave soldiers who were massacred at Fort Hood had trained to fight the jihadist enemy abroad. But they seem to have ended up being murdered by the same enemy on American soil, in a place where they thought they were safe — murdered, apparently, because a series of military and medical officials recognized what was going on with this major and chose to do nothing about it.
The media refused to discuss the possibility that this man was a terrorist
Most of the people in the mainstream media, I suspect, could also see early on exactly what was going on — but to an outrageous degree, they, too, spent Thursday evening doing their best to turn away from the obvious truth. Throughout the evening military and other authorities kept saying, and the talking heads on CNN kept repeating, that there was no sign that this was “a terrorist act” — as if Nidal Malik Hasan had to be officially connected to al-Qaeda to be a jihadist, a pious Muslim who saw the infidel as his enemy.
Living in Norway, I get CNN International, which is different from CNN in the U.S., though when major stories are breaking in the U.S. the international network often switches to the U.S. feed for hours at a time. CNN International’s sponsors are disproportionately Middle Eastern airlines, tourism authorities, and such; so it was that in between ads for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, for Abu Dhabi tourism, for some art show in Abu Dhabi, and for the Dubai World Championship, not to mention cozy promos for an apparently soft-feature series called Inside the Middle East (presented “in association with Qatar Foundation”), CNN reporters kept hammering home the line that Hasan had been the victim of anti-Muslim prejudice by his military colleagues. Repeatedly they read out, and showed onscreen, a long statement from the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) condemning the massacre — never mentioning, of course, CAIR’s well-established terrorist links.

The Muslims in the U.S. must be contained and no more let into America while we are fighting them!! And Obama, if you are one, than we must CONTAIN YOU !!!!!!
The most outrageous result of political correctness in the history of the western world. The truth about this religion is it isn't one. It was founded as a means to empower egotistical men as it served the same purpose to its original inventor a century earlier. How any amount of rationalizing the dangers out of something that had only one purpose and is historically proven so oppressive that whenever there is no competent hierarchy to assemble it for its purpose it founders and languishes in despotism awaiting a chance to unleash the most vile of human traits, hate.
Only manipulators who believe they are skilled enough to tame this power are foolish enough to bring it into trust. If it is a law that insists we must suffer the damnation this ideology has under its' skirts then it is a bad law and ought to have no force until it is removed. Immigration is not a tool for invaders, it is for the welfare of the nation when it is properly controlled. Like most other things men who mean well do while looking for fame, it turns bad yet is clung to as if it were necessity. It reminds me of an old monkey trap. Our politicians aren't even smarter than a monkey. Or they are and what they have in the other paw is worth the savagery they inflict upon the people who they swore to serve to the best of their abilities. Liars or thieves, take your pick. Until they let go of these stupid fantasies of political correctness we will continue to decline until we are no more than ignorant slaves. After all, that monkey paw is collectively ours.
We see the results of PC, when it means we turn a blind eye because we're afraid of stating the obvious. Well, I'm sure CNN won't recant or correct their story. Don't muslim children learn "stick and stones may break my bones"? IT WASN'T THE NAME CALLING….it was the conviction of religious hatred and irrational resolution.
Maybe now people will awaken to the factual reality which Michael Scherer provided us in his book "Imperial Hubris". He also coined the term blowback to describe the results of our imperial empire's effect on nations, such as Iraq and Afghanistan, which only want to be LEFT ALONE. If self governance as elucidated in our founding document is due us, then why are others not afforded that same right? Ron Paul is and has been right in his reminding us of our founders principles. Would that Americans wake up to the fact that the two parties are the same. The attack is on liberty by the controllers. Wake up.
