Nine people were indicted Wednesday on federal charges of accessing President Barack Obama’s student loan records while they were employed for a Department of Education contractor in Iowa.
The U.S. attorney’s office said a grand jury returned the indictments in U.S. District Court in Davenport.
All nine are charged with exceeding authorized computer access. They are accused of gaining access to a computer at a Coralville office where they worked between July 2007 and March 2009, and accessing Obama’s student loan records while he was either a candidate for president, president-elect or president.
U.S. attorney spokesman Mike Bladel referred questions to online copies of the indictments.
Each of eight indictments posted by Wednesday night were brief, saying the charged individual “intentionally exceeded authorized access to a computer and thereby obtained information from a department and agency of the United States” and “intentionally accessed student loan records” of Obama without authorization.
Those charged are Andrew J. Lage, 54, Patrick E. Roan, 51, Sandra Teague, 54 and Mercedes Costoyas, 53, all of Iowa City; Gary N. Grenell, 58, and Lisa Torney, 49, of Coralville; Anna C. Rhodes, 32, of Ainsworth; Julie L. Kline, 38, of West Branch; and John P. Phommivong, 29, for whom no hometown was listed.
Lage told The Associated Press on Wednesday evening he did not know about the indictment and declined comment.

The American citizens need to know if Mr Obama is a legitimate citizen, and if the documents are kept hidden from us, then we will need to locate them in some way. Why is he afraid to let us know who he is.
The reason he is hiding his school records is because he got a student loan that he applied for as a foreign student. Now the way I understand the law, —If you give up your citizenship, you do not get it back.

He's the kind of person who has always taken a stand against evil. He attended a Bible church also. In all this effort not one thing hit the press, that says something about what they didn't find. No improprieties, that's what they found: nothing. If this started in 2007 while he was actually just a candidate, why didn't they bring forth any of their fruits? If anything had been found, no matter how menial, it would have made the headlines. They are lucky that they have only been charged with "improper use of computer." With more than one person doing this in such proximity, it seems more of a conspiracy was at work.

I'm probably wrong , but the only way these people can be convicted the material they were supposted to have found will have to be made public. President Obama must have something to hide to have these charges filed against these people that are only trying to prove President Obama's birth right and where it happened. Well this is a good thing. To determine guilt of these accused it would necessitate that the said records be presented in full. This would mean they would be forced in the open by our own legal system. Once opened in the legal system it becomes "public information". Such revealing of public record in defense of the accused is mandatory. It meets the standard of seclusion in that it is not a matter of national security or revealing trade secrets (et al). So prosecution needs to secede unless they are willing to enter such records that will fall into public access. I foresee a nice acquittal and appeal plan in this. I say stand your ground and force this disclosure.
Emerich de Vattel was a Swiss Diplomat and the author of The Law of Nations, which was published in 1758. De Vattel's Law of Nations defined the term "Natural Born" Citizen, and that was the interpretation the Founding Father's used when they wrote the U.S. Constitution. Article II of the Constitution requires that the President of the United States be a "Natural Born" Citizen. There is a difference between "Natural Born" and "Native Born" citizens. A "Native Born" citizen can be a person born of one parent, an American Citizen, and one parent, who is a foreigner, or two parents, who are both foreigners (even illegals) if the child is physically born in the United States and has his or her official Birth Certificate on record in one of the 50 States.
Under De Vattel's interpretation, a "Natural Born" citizen is a person who is born of two parents, both of whom were American citizens at the time of birth, and the birth of the child was in the United States. Further, De Vattel stated that the father's bloodline really determines who is really a "Natural Born" Citizen under International Law at the time the U.S. Constitution was written in 1789. If only one parent were a citizen, then a child born in the United States under that interpretation would be a "Native Born" Citizen — not a "Natural Born Citizen.
Assuming Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawai'i in 1961 of a Kenyan father, who was a subject of the Crown of the British Empire at the time, and a mother, who was a citizen of the United States, then he would be a "Native Born" Citizen at best under the interpretation of International Law by Emerich de Vattel in his book, The Law of Nations. Under the Bloodline interpretation, Barack Hussein Obama's father was a foreigner, a citizen of the British Colony of Kenya who was never at any time an American citizen, and therefore he could not be a "Natural Born" U.S. Citizen.

Anyone who wants to make sure it is legit I am all ears but if we do not protect each other we cannot expect more patriotic duty to occur . Your thoughts folks ?
This is how the law seems to work when you are just the average citizen and get caught trying to fine out information you respectfully and lawfully should have privilege of knowing in the first place. It's like getting jailed or penalized for taking a cookie out of the cookie jar compared to the larger issues happening with the "Fast and Furious" . DOJ and Eric Holder, Obama, Napolitano and Hillary should be the focus of prosecution and breaking an International Law and a law against our own country and the murder of many people because of it. These are high crimes and should get full punishment by the law of the land.
It may have been wrong for the 9 people to go into Obama's school records according to the law, but realistically I find it justified. As the president of the United States, Obama should have provided that information to the people when we requested it, because he owes us that information in able to insure he is legally qualified to be in that office. So, I congratulate them for trying to get at the truth when all else has failed through our corrupt judicial courts and others such as the FEC.
Obama is not above the Law, nor is any of his Administration. Their crimes are Treason, felony and many other high crimes.
