5 Big Stories The Media Will ‘Discover’ After The Election

Barack Obama speech 9 SC 5 Big Stories The Media Will Discover After The Election

Now that the election is over, one thing is clear the country will have to deal with several major problems that the mainstream media largely ignored to protect President Obama.

On issue after issue, in fact, the media didn’t cover Obama’s first term as much as they’ve covered up for him, whether it was the dismal state of the economy, the failure of his policies or the increased troubles abroad.

The effort worked remarkably well, helping to shield Obama from responsibility, protecting his image, providing a solid floor under his approval ratings, and ultimately a second term in the White House.

But now that Obama is safely in the White House for another four years, the press is sure to churn out what can charitably be called “now they tell us” stories about these matters, now that any potential election impact has passed.

On Tuesday, Yahoo News provided a glimpse, with a story by seasoned journalist Walter Shapiro, who finally got around to wondering whether “anyone outside (Obama’s) family and the inner sanctum of the White House staff really know Obama or have a clear handle on what he would do with a second term.”

  1. Obama’s goal has been achieved. He won. He is clueless about what to do. Valerie Jarrett, his close advisor and a on loan Chicago real estate sales lady, is of no help. Neither is Michele, though I am sure she has identifed her next jaunts overseas and in the USA.
However, in 6 months or less, those who voted their lady parts and the minority voters of any strip will discover that voting does not guarantee benefits or goodies.
Then there is the unfinished business with Fast & Furious and Libya and a dead ambassdor and other Americans of honor.
Obama lost. He did not recognize it last night. Romney won, because within 6 months to a year the new tax rates, Obamacare tax rates, etc. will sink the economy into a 2nd Great Depression. Obama cannot blame it on George Bush or Herbert Hoover or the Republicans, though he will try.
He owns it; he broke it.

    • SO true! All these libs and leftists are FINALLY going to realize there is a day of reckoning! And it ain’t gonna be pretty for any of us!

    • Oh, PUleeeze. not another Great Depression. If we have one now, it will be many, many times worse than the other one. We have ALL became so accustomed to having all the “luxuries” of such things as our electronics, utilities, central heat and air, plenty of food, a good car to drive, washer/dryer, Fridge/freezer all the clothes we want/need, a Great Depression will bring about more robberies, home invasions, abuse, and murders. I was born in 1937, so witnessed the Long Recovery my family and neighbors had. Everyone was dirt poor(below today’s poverty-low end) back then so it was not us against them. Families and neighbors worked together. Helped with the burchering of hogs/beef, and helped cure it. Had a “smoke house” where meet was salted and smoked, Meats were also canned. Gardens were large and everything eaten fresh and canned for winter. slept on featherbeds, with many hand quilted quilts piled on top, heated brick wrapped in towels at out feet. Then came WW2, and rationing, Lots of things were only allowed with ration stamps, Everything was used/saved for military. No nylon hose for ladies, it was used for parachutes. Women gathered at the church, cut sheets into bandgage side and rolled up, given to Red Cross for use on the battlefield. With all the hard work of my parents, we survived and I think I am a better person having to go through those hard times. We didn’t have electricity til I was 10, got first bathroom when I was 17-18, it is still in use today, shower, sink, toilet and floor replaced, but in the same spot.
We also took care of families at home, Grandmother, cancer. Father stroke lived to 87, mother recovered massive stroke, cancer died at 99 1/2. We helped my 2 sisters with injuries, requiring surgery/rehab several times, me with surgery forrowing a fall, and was there for illness and subsequent death of one’s husband. Been there done that, don’t want to do it again or have my kids and grandkids go through that. God bless and help our USA!!! We need everyone’s prayers, please. Sorry foor the long rant. Memories are great

      • Sowhatelly, Ive heard stories of the great depression but you all had something Americans dont have any more. Love, Compassion, Humility, Trust, and Loyalty to name a few. All these great qualities have been replaced with Hate, Resentment, Hostility, Jealousy, Contempt, Laziness, Greed, and Strife. People are so spoiled and the old ways of survival have fallen to the wayside. It will be far worse because people just dont know how to care for themselves any more.

    • the media really sucks…they are a bunch of idiots

  2. Well said Longdrycreek, well said.
Obama, like most yes men, who say,”Yes we can do that, we can do that” must be really wondering to himself now that he has the chance “How are we going to do that?”
It is going to be an interesting road traveled in the next four years, not very scenic and mostly uphill.

  3. Right on Longdrycreek, I agree with everything you said. What happens when the people don’t get their gov’t funded checks??

  4. people are just to stupid to realize what they have done. you dont elect someone because of the color of his skin or because he thinks he’s the best thing since white bread…..people r just DUMB…..who’s he gonna blame now for the screw ups of the last four years…cant blame bush…..
